Okay! So this is what the fandom calls "Cotton Candy Garnet" for obvious reasons lol (Steven Universe) Now, this is Garnet when she first formed. This isn't what she looks like currently. And the little "Candy Store" Heather's reference was just a joke. I couldn't help it! It was perfect! I had a TON of trouble with this one! Mainly because I realized about 30-45 mins into the coloring that if I drew her all in colored pencil, then it would turnout streaky, not fluffy looking like I wanted it to be. So, I turned to oil pastels. And they worked, but they wouldn't give me enough saturation for the shading. And building up the color wasn't working. So, believe it or not, I had to combine layers of colored pencils, oil pastels, and watercolor to get the colors and appearance right. So naturally, by the end of the night, my hand was sore...cuz this drawing took about 3-4 hours...eh..*dies*
