SO I DECIDED TO MAKE AN ENTIRELY NEW SPECIES FOR A DIFFERENT LANF IN MUSIPHAN AND THEY ARE VERY VERY

tropical.

So, first off, some pencil sketches,

This was the pose and look of the body I wanted.

Then I thought that I wanted some tropical/bright coloring, and I went with Red, Yellow, and Green!

So then, I got to work. I started with the base coloring, which was green. In order to keep it light, and for me to still see the pencil sketches, I dipped my paintbrush into water, with the green on it.

I constantly applied water, like, ever five or so strokes.

Then, with the red, I painted the red feathers on their head, the fur, and some spots along the body. Using a teensy bit of black, I darkened a separate palate of green so it would help with shading and outlining.

The yellow was used for the eyes, and a bit of highlight at the fur and ears

Then, using more green and yellow, i added highlights onto the forearms, and stripes on the tail and fur, and also shaded a bit more on the back of the legs. Plus defined the places of the red dots a bit more. And the fur.

I reapplied some yellow to the eyes, and did a bit of shadow for the small spot of ground. And did a very, very watery shade of green for the ground.

And now you have a Lethal'les!

DESCRIPTION:

Lethal'les were discovered on the Eastern Lands of Jiblum.  Nicknamed "Lles", these creatures are lean with strong six limbs and a prehensile tail. Males are usually a bright color to ward of other males while attract females.

They hafe small bits of feather and fur that go down their spine. Some even have patterns along their smooth yet tough skin. Large paws and retractable claws, they are usually found in flat swamps or deep in humid forests. They love watery areas.

Despite their constantly bared teeth, they are often silent unless provoked, and even then, most disputes are settled with tail grabbing or paw swatting, and they dont often open their mouth. But some have witnessed them eating nectar and (occasionally) eggs, making them opportunists.

Males are, once again, usually the brighter colors, but females also range in the bright color wheel, but their colors would usually stick to a dark green or brown, as they like to be camoflauged.

These are, like crows, social animals. However, when they are near adult age, they separate from their pack to form their small territory to keep for themselves. Eventually, they join back into a pack, whenever food is low and they must migrste to another area.

They are great and jumping and running long distances, but climbing and swimming isnt their best suit. Most are extremely intelligent, and will figure out ways to get over or through something just by thinking and observing.

Safe to say, they aren't very interested in hunting, but they will do that when any other food is not avalible. A dwarf, human, or elf can walk upon them and they wouldn't stay near them, armed or unarmed.

They communicate in silent hisses, and sometimes the clicking of their teeth, but most of the time, body language is how they often communicate. Sometimes they would let out a very light trill at seeing another younger part of their kind, or snarl st their enemies, and screech in pain. But the loudest sound they could make was their screech, which already scares their enemies enough, but they don't do it often.
