Which is better? Vote in the comments for which appearance you like better! If you don't know, Leaf is Rose's dragon guardian (that will appear later). Although, he did appear in her nightmare and her dream, he is not an official character yet. The designs are fairly similar but the second drawing has a story to it.
Rose was struck down by Terrath in battle and she was falling to her death, the dagger of light was thrown away from her. There seemed no hope until Leaf saved her from demise saying: "I am with you always." He was saying that he'd die fighting to protect her for all eternity. This moment has not happened in the book yet but it will. The pink cat above Leaf's snout is Rose and the gold thing is the dagger of light.
