Well, this is a new character I happened to doodle, and I wanted to go for "realistic."  

The only problem was that (Insert OC Name Here) took a lot of erasing and ruined my paper, and my mother recommended that I do it on computer to clean it up for selling (I'm selling my artwork for my field trip.  Wish me luck!).

It looked SO much better on paper (I have a better controlled hand with a pencil) than I did on computer (I can't sketch with a mouse).

Drumrolls please...
