Day 7 🛡️

"His faithfulness is my shield and my buckler."

I had a night vision of what my sword and shield looked like. Both were gold with a bright glow, it shimmered and had a type of transparent glitter look to it. ✨

🛡️ I could see through my shield to see my enemy and I even used it as a weapon to push back those who were too close.

🗡️ My sword was double edged and the only effective way to use it was to be accurate and pierce/stab the enemy.

Therefore I do not run without a definite goal; I do not flail around like one beating the air [just shadow boxing]. But [like a boxer] I strictly discipline my body and make it my slave, so that, after I have preached [the gospel] to others, I myself will not somehow be disqualified [as unfit for service].

Before I knew what types of shields were used during the days that Jesus walked the earth, I did research on the ones that looked similar to what I saw.

A day later, I found out the shield I did the most research on that had a lot of resemblance to what I saw, it was the same shield that the Romans used during that time.

It was very popular and useful along with the double-edged sword. I added the cross design on the shield and the robes I'm wearing are inspired by the priest robes in ancient Israel.
