This man, lead singer of KPop group SHINee, was recently found unconscious in his apartment. He had sent a final text to his sister, who had alerted the police who found him. He attempted, and succeeded, in committing suicide and was dead upon his arrival at the hospital.

He will be dearly missed, and my thoughts and prayers go out to anyone who knew him personally and fans everywhere. This news came as a shock to many, including myself, but many have posted things in his memory and in condolence to others.

I almost cried a few times today after learning the details, and it saddens me that this happened. The point that many, myself included, have made out of this is (1) MENTAL ILLNESS IS NOT A JOKE and (2) DON'T SEND PEOPLE HATE!!! You never know what someone could be facing beyond a happy face and seemingly perfect life.

Now, as the suckiest transition ever, I have some art I made for my semester exam:

The bottom is the original study by Hayao Miyazaki that I had to replicate, and I ran out of time so I couldn't do the background. I'm actually somewhat proud; hopefully I'll do as well on the second portion, my other exams, and my choir performance tonight (oh wait that's an exam too-)
