I have deceived you for there are no trucks of fire

aNYWAY HEY THERE EVERYONE LOOK I'M ALIVE (barely)

This week was unbelievably busy, to put it lightly, and I'll give you a quick summary of what happened (I'm tired)

-My schedule got changed, but they dropped Creative Writing instead of Folklore and Mythology so now I'm stuck in there
-My school has just announced that to park there we must reserve a spot, which costs $50, and if we pay extra we can decorate our spot (but I'm broke and angry so that ain't happening)
-I'm going to probably be volunteering at the cat cafe!!
-Physics H got replaced with Anatomy and Physiology and we don't have to dissect cats ;w;
-Finally got my results from the metal health testing over a month ago and we collectively don't like the looks of them, further testing will be done and also my mother kicked me out of the room to decide what my sister and I get to hear about our own results (claims she only wanted the IQ results to be secret)
-Spine is dying
-I sang at a funeral (it was a very emotional day and then I almost changed lanes into another car on the way home)
-I uploaded another WIP

LESS THAN TWO WEEKS TO GET THOSE ENTRIES IN FOR MY EVENT Y'ALL!!!! If you need a refresher on rules go see the chapter titled "Surprise~!"

Now, -addy2022- requested a tutorial for how I draw my eyes and I actually came up with two because the way I do it can change from piece to piece, one style which I did because I wanted to do it in a doodle sketch and another to try to be similar to the piece she requested it on! The latter will have to be in a second chapter, as I'm gonna run out of room for those photos, so sorry for the double chapter!

The beginning of the sketch! (I wanted to try a pout lol) I don't always do this, but I wanted to do the eyebrows first this time

Then I outline where the eyes will be, placing any wrinkles or parts of the skin that will define the eye shape (I don't like to do the full eye for some reason?)

Base color! This is Sandypaw's true eye color, and the colors I pick after are chosen for what looks best with the current picture. It is also on a different layer.

For this one I wanted the pupils to be darker and have the ring of darker blue around them (another new layer)

ibisPaint X has a lot of different ways to blur things, for this one I'm using Gaussian because it just places an equal blur around all of the available edges of color on that layer! I also moved back to the intermediate blue

Apparently I skipped a step, but here you can see I'm adding light reflection to the eyes! I start with an off-white color that matches the color of the eyes, in this case it's a very very light blue!

I once again apply the Gaussian blur, and voila!

(The layers are many, like my struggles)

And I left the coloring very flat because I didn't feel like putting in much effort lol

Also pro tip if you wanna sign your piece where it won't get easily cut off but don't wanna watermark it either put your signature near something important and the main focus, like the head! You can't crop it out without cropping out the ear now too

The next chapter will have another, more intense and honestly better looking eye I did beside this one!
