aNYWAY I COME BEARING ART

A full cast of all my cats for a science project!! And now you'll all finally get a rundown on who everyone is, how they relate, and meet a few unfamiliar faces properly!

Sandypaw-
Probably the protagonist you all know, but who cares! She's a salty cold cat to most, and is Minnowfang's sister and Orchidspot's mate. She used to be close with her brother through picking on Orchidspot until the she-cat confessed and Sandypaw realized she also had feelings for her. She dies holding off a small dog pack so Orchidspot can escape.

Orchidspot-
Probably an alternative protagonist, Orchidspot is a total shy sweetheart and Sandypaw's mate! She's picked on by the other apprentices until she confesses to having feelings for their leader, Sandypaw, who keeps her secret and eventually admits similar feelings. When Sandypaw dies in the run from a pack of dogs the leader of their clan, WindClan, calls Orchidspot a coward for running and banished her from the clan. She then joins ThunderClan and lives out the rest of her life without taking another mate, until she dies of greencough.

Minnowfang-
Sandypaw's brother and Flashfoot's mate, Minnowfang is a fierce and emotionally lost tom who's readiness to fight rather than talk lands him a place as clan deputy after Orchidspot leaves. The loss of his sister, despite their arguments before her death, breaks him and leaves him harsh with his only goal to please others. He looks for support and comfort in his mate, but she keeps him distant and hurt.

Flashfoot-
Minnowfang's mate and a cold-hearted she-cat, Flashfoot is known for her cunning and speed. While she claims to love Minnowfang she rather enjoys his position of power within the clan and the closeness it gives her to the clan leader himself, and knowingly manipulates his already fragile feelings. She has a scar on her right flank from a later run-in with the same pack that killed Sandypaw.

Thornear-
A ThunderClan tom known for his strength, Thornear is one of Orchidspot's first friends in ThunderClan and hopes to become Orchidspot's mate. He is unsuccessful, though he still remains kind to her, and while he isn't always the most intelligent cat he is brave and loyal.

Spirelight-
A mysterious she-cat who Sandypaw meets in StarClan, she is a narcissistic flirt with an unknown past and the ability to visit the living cats in ThunderClan. She gives Sandypaw updates on how Orchidspot is doing, not without causing her a lot of trouble about it first, and gets to know Orchidspot on her secret visits in her dreams. She flirts to gain Orchidspot's attention and anger Sandypaw, but also to distract her from the empty disappointment of not knowing her own past and how she died.

Birch and Macy have a story that I'm waiting to develop more and is separate from Sandypaw and Orchidspot's, so I'm waiting to introduce them (though some of my longer time readers from the last book might remember them!)

I've also got a sketch WIP for a full body piece of the characters I've introduced, that was originally going to be my science project until I found out I got the orientation of the paper wrong

I've gotta find more refs for the rest of Minnowfang's body but yeah!
