I was bored and had 20 minutes so I redrew the cover for one of my much older works, I think the original might actually be somewhere in this book?? Not too sure haha. Anyways, here's the newer cover.

I would say this one much more effectively captures what I had in mind for the piece compared to when I first drew it. This was also my first time using ibis again in close to a year, and I had a lot of fun experimenting with the newer brushes, especially now that I'm more used to a textured brush for all my linework and shading/lighting. Overall really proud of this one considering I only had 20 minutes and how much I've refined my style since last time around :)

And since I'm here already here's another shaded icon I did like in the last chapter! The character is Hivestripe, he belongs to HollowHeartStar (again thanks so much for letting me draw him haha)

I had a lot of fun on the lighting with this one, such a blast to do overall.

Also maybe keep an eye out for more of these? I'm doing a few as commissions and I'd really like to restore a sense of the activity levels I used to have here, so I might start posting more of what I do as opposed to keeping to myself like I've done for a while now :D
