Step 21: Draw some spikes on the spine. RainWing spines are fairly short compared to most other tribes, but feel free to make them as long or short as possible.

Step 22: Draw in some curved lines on the underbelly to make the plates.

Step 23: Draw another line next to the underbelly. This will make the little ridge running along the RainWing's body.

Step 24: Draw some little lines along the ridge.

Step 25: Draw the circular scales running down the RainWing's neck (this is completely optional, it's just something I like to draw). You can make them any size or shape you want.

Step 26: Draw a line running down the back.

Step 27: Draw in some lines to form the back plates.

Step 28: Go on a different layer (or switch to a slightly thicker or darker pen if you're working with traditional), and draw the spines for the ruff. They can be in whatever position you'd like them to be.

Step 29: Draw in the webs for the ruff.

Step 30: erase all the bits under the ruff.

Step 31: And there you have it! A finished RainWing headshot!
