The OS..

Sometimes its hard to fathom things. Its hard to realize how time flies and everything changes so soon.

It felt like yesterday when Arnav Singh Raizada had proposed Miss. Khushi Kumari Gupta for marriage, sitting on one knee after surprising her with his unique Salman Khan dance..

It felt like yesterday when he had wiped his cheek against hers, covering her blush with the pure turmeric on their haldi ritual.

It felt like yesterday when after such an uneventful fiasco of the past unfolding, Arnav had showed up for the wedding,to claim his Khushi, his life back, draining Shyam's and dadi's evil plans.

And here they were, one year later, in Chicago.

To open a new line of stores of AR in the States, Arnav had to stay in Chicago for a month.

And now that everything had changed since their wedding, how could the mighty ASR afford to live without his beautiful wife even for a single day?

One month was way beyond the equation.

Reluctant at first, Khushi had finally given in to his insisting, rather orders.

After all, when it was ASR's demands, Khushi always ended up being helpless.

And now that their stay was coming to an end in five days, Khushi actually felt sad about it. She always believed in the concept of togetherness, staying with the family, enjoying with everyone, but today even she couldn't deny that at times being alone with the person you love had its own fun as well.

.

.

"..So when are you coming back?"

Khushi asked Arnav over the phone as she played with a lock of her hair.

Arnav had been out for an important meeting since the morning. It was 7.00 pm in the evening and still he didn't show up.

.

"..Hmm in a while."

He replied nonchalantly, over the phone.

.

She sighed as she felt that maybe she was disturbing him and kept the phone in a few seconds after inquiring whether he had taken his medicines or not.

.

She could feel her restlessness rising with every passing second, as the ticking of the clock added more to her despair.

There was a sudden urge within her, which made her crave for her husband, to see him, to hug him, to be close to him.

.

"Hey Devi Maiyya! Ye Arnav Ji kab aayenge(When is Arnavji gonna come?)!!"

She paced back and forth in her hotel suite, oblivious to the television which was on all this while.

.

Unable to deal with it anymore, she took her cell phone and was about to dial his number once again when suddenly the sound of the bell intervened her activity.

.

Placing the phone on her bed she rushed towards the door and opened it to find no one standing at the door step.

Her heart skipped a beat as beads of perspiration appeared on her forehead.

It was the first time in their trip that Arnav was out for so long.

Though he didn't want to and insisted Khushi on coming with him, it was her who actually coaxed him to go, convincing him that she would be fine.

And now that it was all happening, she cursed herself for not going with Arnav.

A. Because she was missing him like crazy.

B. Because she was scared unlike anything.

.

Khushi gulped as her fear took over her mind and was going to close the door when suddenly her eyes fell on the doormat.

.

A beautifully wrapped box, it immediately caught her sight and she bent down and grabbed it with her hands.

Looking at the corridor for one last time to be sure no one was there, she finally shut the door with the parcel in her hands.

**

As Khushi examined the gift wrapped parcel from all the angles, trying to decode what was in it, her mind prompted random thoughts, foremost of which was-

"A Bomb??"

Her eyes grew wide as saucers as the thought knocked her mind and she instantly stood up,panicking at the same time palpitating.

.

"No Khushi, that can't happen.."

She consoled herself as once again she glanced at the parcel, trying her level best to know what

it contained.

.

"But why wasn't anyone there?"

Another doubt popped up in her mind, when suddenly she narrowed her eyes and stared at the wrapper carefully.

.

A smile curved at the corner of her lips as she saw what was written in small fonts in that

wrapper.

.

"happiness"

"happiness"

"happiness"

Normally all the gift wrappers had the words "best wishes", "love" or "happy birthday" in them, but Happiness?

.

"Khushi"

She grasped the actual meaning behind that english word and her smile grew wider as there was no doubt or no need of any fear because she already knew who had sent this.

.

"But if Arnav Ji is here then ..?"

She darted her eyes in all the directions of that huge suite, in a hope that she would be able to see Arnav somehow, but to her disappointment, there was no trace of him.

.

"Tu bhi na Khushi.. Arnav ji toh abhi meeting mein hai. Thodi der pehle hi toh baat hui thi.(Khushi! Arnavji must be in his meeting. After all, you spoke to him on phone some time back)."

She was again spoke to herself, justifying Arnav's absence and thinking perhaps Arnav had let some one deliver the parcel to her on his behalf.

.

.

The smile once again appearing on her face, she slowly undid the gift wrapper, making sure she didn't tear it anyhow and finally opened the box.

.

Her face lit up at that fraction of second as she saw the thing which was placed inside the box.

.

A beautiful black saree with silver embroidery, it instantly flashed images of the night they had spent at Arnav's bachelor party, a day before the wedding.

Her cheeks turned crimson as she recalled the memories of the past year which were still so prominent in her mind as if she lived it almost every single day.

.

Though ever since their marriage, every day was a new discovery, a new adventure, a new beginning, it was about falling in love all over again..

.

She took the saree in her hands, caressing it, as the flashes of those beautiful nights tugged at her heart, reminding her of every single day they had made love, every single night.

.

It amused her to come to terms with the fact that this was indeed that ruthless, rude, stringent Business Tycoon, The ASR, who was now a loving husband, who knew nothing except her happiness, who's whole life revolved around his wife, his khushi..

.

And now, all she wanted was to see him, hug him close, feel his touch and nothing else.

Without a second thought, she rushed to the washroom to take a shower and change into the Saree, which she couldn't wait to wear.

**

As she stepped out of the washroom, a new emotion, a new world greeted her as she saw darkness every where.

.

Her body instantly became numb and her mind stopped working as a new fear started occupying her thoroughly.

The silence appeared to be haunting as she could already feel that she wasn't the only soul in the room.

.

As her heart continued beating faster, now she needed no confirmation to believe who was the other soul..

After all, it was her soul mate..

Her Arnav..

.

.

Swallowing the lump in her throat, she clutched the sides of her new saree, as nervousness took over her body.

Despite being married for months, Arnav still continued to have that effect on her, which always ended up leaving her flustered.

She couldn't comprehend in which part of the huge room she now stood in, and it seemed completely baseless to even estimate which direction to go so that she would reach the big bed.

.

She didn't need to make any further effort as suddenly she felt warm hands captivating her from behind, caging her in a warm, muscular, divine embrace, from where she didn't even feel the urge to escape.

She could already feel herself running short of oxygen, as that heavenly touch automatically gave her butterflies in the stomach and a shiver ran down her spine.

.

Burying his head on one side of her shoulder, Arnav tasted her irresistible scent, that beautiful jasmine fragrance, which immediately created a frenzy in him, craving to take her in then and there.

.

His hold tightened around her milky waist as Khushi closed her eyes, willing and trying to frame every milli second in her mind, not ready to compromise with anything.

.

"..You look beautiful.."

Arnav whispered softly in her ear, creating a havoc in Khushi's heart with his sexy husky voice.

.

"..But it's dark.."

She murmured, her voice barely audible.

.

"..I don't need the light to know how you look, sweetheart.."

Arnav said as he slowly turned her around, so that now their faces met each other.

.

Suddenly Shimmering golden dim lights appeared from all the directions, creating a soothing ambiance, as the soul mates were drowned deep inside each other's eyes.

.

Realizing the change around, Khushi broke the eye lock as she looked around her, surprised at the beauty, and her face became enlightened.

.

But what actually got her flabbergasted was the sight which made some flashes race in her mind as she looked at the huge picture framed on the wall above the big round bed..

.

.

"..It's..It's beautiful.."

Khushi stuttered as Arnav gently squeezed her hand and they both looked at the huge wedding picture of theirs, which only conveyed love and trust..

.

.

"..Happy Wedding Anniversary Khushi.."

Arnav spoke as he took her hand and kissed it softly, making his wife blush a deep shade of red.

.

.

"..Happy Anniversary Arnavji.."

Khushi replied as he pulled her for a tight hug, holding her close to him, trapping her for the whole life time, and more to come.

.

While caressing her back, Arnav suddenly realized something was wrong and he slowly broke the hug making Khushi look at him with confused eyes.

.

"What happened Arnavji?.. Is anything wrong?"

She asked him, perplexed.

.

Arnav's trademark smirk took over his face, as his hand made its way on his wife's back, making Khushi nervous instantly.

She already knew what was coming in for her when suddenly she heard Arnav say,

"Your Dori.. It's..Uh.. Open.."

.

A mixture of embarrassment and relief took over her mind as her speculation turned out to be false and she turned to look at herself in the mirror, when an abrupt realization dawned upon her.

.

.

"..Pearls.."

She spoke under her breath as her mind took her back on a time travel resurfacing in her vision their unforgettable first meet.

She gasped for breath as she understood gradually how destiny had played its cards and how their hatred had transformed into love, into passion, into intensity, for eternity.

She cursed herself about the fact that how come she didn't notice this earlier, when suddenly she felt Arnav's hands grazing her back and holding the two strands of her dori, playing with it.

The smirk not leaving his face all this while, he slowly tied her dori, taking his own time, not for a fraction of second deviating his attention from her.

.

His teasing created a rhapsody of feelings inside her, making her lose the grip on herself with every passing second.

For him, it was no different.

He was way past the equation of retaining his self control.

Not able to check on his longing anymore, he turned her to face him and crashed his lips against hers, holding her by her waist.

.

Khushi didn't get a tiny second to react as she felt the bidding passion between them, which by now had already reached its peak.

His hands trailed over her petite waist, her back, her hips as her hands continued to ruffle his gelled hair, making him go more crazy by her every single touch.

Every kiss seemed like a first kiss, as their tongues played with each other and they explored the sweet tastes of each other's mouths.

Her bosom colliding with his chest, their desires knew no bonds as Arnav now kissed her on the neck, her jawline, her eyes, claiming his possession over her..

The authority over her, which only he had.

.

.

Breaking their series of kisses in need of some air, Arnav hugged her tightly, kissing her hair simultaneously.

.

"..You know Khushi.."

Arnav spoke, still not breaking the hug..

.

"..Hmm..?"

She moaned softly, feeling contended with the fact, with the reality that she was in the safest place in the world- the embrace of her husband..

.

"..You just make me go crazy.."

Arnav's words made Khushi smile and she chuckled softly and slowly pulled away from the hug, looking directly into Arnav's eyes.

.

.

"..And let me tell you one thing, There is absolutely NO ONE who has any darn right over you other than me.."

Arnav's possessiveness knew no bounds as he tucked a strand of her coming on her face, behind her ear and Khushi continued staring at him.

.

Khushi didn't reply to his statement, making Arnav a bit tense and he got closer to her and caressing her cheek asked her,

"..Don't want to say anything?"

.

.

Khushi suddenly broke the eye contact and with her eyes downcast, she softly said,

"..But Arnavji, what if I WANT to give the right to have authority over me to some one?"

.

The happiness faltered from Arnav's face and he furrowed his eye brows, his hands curling into fists, his mind still not able to fathom what his ears were actually grasping..

.

"What do you mean?"

Arnav spoke with a stern voice as the ASR was starting to take over him making Khushi rethink her words.

.

When he received no answer from her, he held her arm and repeated his query once again, still not able to understand what was going on..

.

After a fine ten seconds, Khushi let herself free from his hold with her free hand, and lifted her face to look at him..

.

His face was all shattered, as he failed to understand his wife's words and the sudden change in the atmosphere.

To her surprise, despite the stern factor of ASR, today he was just the innocent Arnav, who wasn't going to take any chances to let his precious possession go away from him.

And even if he was the ASR, he was so particular of killing and ripping apart any person, who dared to come in between them..

.

.

A tear escaped from Khushi's eyes, trickling down her cheek as Arnav looked at her with helpless expressions.

He tried to wipe her tear, stroking her cheek with his thumb when Khushi stopped him midway, aggravating his confusion.

.

Her lips curved into a smile as the tears continued to roll down her cheeks, making Arnav restless, at the same time making him feel futile for not being able to stop the tears in his wife's eyes..

.

.

"Khu.."

Arnav's words were left in midway as Khushi held his hand with hers and slowly brought it close to her and placed it on her stomach..

.

The seconds seemed like eternity as Arnav found it enormously difficult to come to terms with the fact that what his mind was indicating was true.. What his heart was hinting was real.

.

.

"..Khu.. Khushi.. You are..?"

She nodded instantly unable to control the endless tears of happiness anymore as Arnav looked at her, startled.

The truth was still so hard to sink in, and Arnav's heart was elated, in surprise, with happiness..

He felt as if his entire being was just not enough to take in this new world, to drown in this euphoria, which seemed too real to be true.

.

.

Cupping her cheeks with his hands, Arnav kissed her on the forehead, his face enlightened with a broad smile as new waves of happiness continued to immerse him in the ocean of happiness.

Kissing her eyes, her cheeks, he couldn't thank Destiny enough for bringing this Angel in his life, who not only enlightened his dark world, but gave him all the reasons to live life..

.

.

Scooping her in his arms, he carried her to their bed, placing her safely on it, as he kissed her on her lips passionately, whispering sweet nothings into her ears and finally made his way to her still flat stomach, caressing it and kissing it gently as he softly uttered,

"..Our baby Khushi.. Ours.. I Love you both so much.. And Sweetheart just know one thing, I have nothing to ask for, when you are here.."
