Drabble: Of Emptiness

When each morning brings nothing but emptiness and each night passes with loneliness and nightmare, her soul wanted nothing but to disappear, away from the chaos, the loudness and cry of unspoken things weighing her down.

Hope was gone and light never seen, trust broke and dreams unlived yet nothing but emptiness remained. Pain was always her close neighbor. Fresh tears were her solace but it ran out soon.

Pointy edges and heights seemed friendly yet her heart hesitated to embrace it. But deep down she knows that the embrace is imminent unless she sees the light.
