I love this ship. It's fun to see a wild Lucy and an uptight Alex get together.

At first, Alex didn't know what it was. Every time she was around Lucy, she would start to feel nervous.

And she liked it.

She wanted to be around Lucy all the time, to never part.

And it was driving her crazy.

Lucy didn't do crushes. She did hookups, boyfriends, girlfriends, but not crushes.

And yet she was staring at Alex's ass.

Obviously, the agent didn't return her dumb feelings, which made it even worse (the poor irony is that Alex is trying desperately not to look at Lucy).

Well, shit.

Lucy may have been the director of the DEO, but there were some things even she couldn't stop.

Like needing Alex to check on the alien DNA.

Alex was thinking about Maggie.

Again.

She had felt like something was missing.

Like her heart wasn't in the relationship.

Not to mention how much she wanted kids.

Her thoughts were interrupted by Lucy.

"Uh... hi? What are you doing here?"

Well, that didn't sound awkward at all.

"I have some DNA samples you need."

Alex blushed.

"Right..."

Alex didn't know why she did it.

Maybe she missed Maggie. Maybe she was sick of being alone.

She honestly didn't know if Lucy was even gay.

But at that moment, she didn't really care.

She stood up, walked to Lucy, and kissed her.

It took less than a second for Lucy to respond.

Kara smiled brightly as she stared at the wall.

"Kara? Why are you smiling?"

Kara snapped her gaze away from the wall to see Winn's confused look.

"Alex finally kissed Lucy," she explained.

Winn grinned.

"Finally!"

"When do you think she'll tell us?" Kara wondered aloud.

Winn shrugged.

"Sorry to ruin the moment, but we really have to focus on the alien."

Kara laughed.

"Yeah. Sadly."

Winn grinned back.
