So... It's been a long while, hasn't it?

I hope you all will read this whole author's note for the very important information, but I can't blame you if you don't. After all, I haven't updated it a fat minute.

By "a fat minute", I mean the last chapter came out at the end of September. Oops.

WELL, I'VE CHOSEN TO REWRITE THIS ENTIRE STORY PLOT. BASICALLY.

So yeah. I haven't really started writing it too much, just barely a prologue, but I really want to start putting out chapters before the new year. If you have any questions about what's below, feel free to ask. :)

WHAT TO EXPECT:

- A BETTER STORYLINE. I'm going to completely ditch the concept of the Avengers watching memories. It was getting annoying to work with, especially since it wasn't consistently done (my fault). For example, at times you could read Clint's inner thoughts and then see the Avengers' thoughts. It could've worked, but I did it in a stupid way. I also didn't have an endgame plan for it.

- A DIFFERENT WRITING STYLE. My writing has changed a lot. I mean, go right now to some of the first chapters of this book and compare them to the most recent. Weird, right? Anyway, it's also different from my Whumptober one-shots and the Mandolorian character studies I've written recently. I want to work to be more consistent with this current style since people say they love it (including one of my school teachers for yearbook).

- I MENTIONED A PROLOGUE EARLIER. That's right! The prologue is going to be similar to what was done in chapters seven and eight of this book, just to kinda show how Clint and his brother got to the circus. Then we get to chapter one and find that several years have passed, basically bringing us to the point we were at in this book. Yes, this will make the rewrite shorter, but I feel as if it's worth it because I can better develop higher points of the story (like joining SHIELD and being a mercenary).

- LONGER CHAPTERS. (This may or not include the prologue because it's a prologue.) I plan on making my chapters like how I've been doing the most recent chapters for this book. Woo!—chapters anywhere from 1000-2000 words, basically.

- AN ACTUAL PLANNED OUT PLOT. Yeah, that's right. I'm going to do this right and make myself a plot diagram.

- SOME REUSED CHAPTERS. Some of the most recent chapters in this book were actually pretty good. I might reuse them and salvage it if I can, possibly rewriting tiny bits and pieces.

- IT'LL BE ON ARCHIVE OF OUR OWN. For those who don't know, Archive of our Own (AO3) is a writing platform for fanfiction. It's widely considered to be the best website to use. YES, THE REWRITE WILL ALSO BE ON WATTPAD, BUT NOT FANFICTION.NET. I'm simply saying that it'll be on a new platform this time around. My account over there has more works posted for other fandoms if you're interested (same username).

- A NEW TITLE. This is for two reasons, the first being that "Arrows Through Time" doesn't fit in unless people are watching memories and sorta traveling time. I've also started to dislike this title, and feel as if I can do better. I don't have one yet. However, I will listen to your suggestions if you have any.
