"Freak come here now!!" I hear Uncle Vernon yell. I groan and open the door to  my cupboard. Yep. I have a cupboard. Under the stairs. I have a stunted growth because of that. My teachers say I'm too skinny and too small. I'm 16. And I'm about the size of a 14 year old and the weight of a 10 year old. Which is not healthy at all.

I walk out and see a guy with an eyepatch. He looks horrified at my size and condition. "It's like your time has came to a complete stop." He says looking at me. "Excuse my lack of manners but who the bloody hell are you?" I say confused. He chuckles.

"I'm Nick Fury and I'm here to talk to you about the Avengers initiative." He says smiling.

"I thought the Avengers Initiative was shut down?" I say remembering what I researched in the library. "And there is no bloody way I would qualify." I add.

"Well Miss Potter you do qualify. More than most." He says looking grim. Then a video starts to play. It's from 2 years ago. A gang member tried to mug me and something strange happened. He was thrown into the walls by a unknown force. I was terrified.

The video ends. "That Miss Potter, is why you qualify." He says smirking. I nod my head barely. "So do you accept?" He questions. "Yes."

"Wait did you say the Avengers Initiative, that shut down?" I say looking at the lady like she's crazy. "Yes Miss Patterson. The Avengers Initiative did shut down. But you and two other special teens have the chance to join." She says smiling.

"Who the fuck are you again?" I say flatly. "Agent Natasha Romanov." She says chuckling softly. "Why not." I say shrugging.

"Excuse me?" I say not thinking I heard him right. "You have been invited to join the Avengers Initiative." He repeats. "Wasn't that shut down?" I say flatly. He sighs deeply"Yes it was, but you and two others have been invited to join." He says flatly. "And you are?" I question. "Clint Barton." He says simply.

"I will join." I say my voice strong. "You made the right decision Mr Martin."
