Meanwhile, (While Tyler is escaping his chains and Katiya is in pursuit of Sergey Kalinin)

The group of Hockey Avengers continue to chase after Nathan MacKinnon. In a clearing, (the same one where Sidney had attempted to first engage Nathan) the moose man skids to a halt once more, picking up Sidney Crosby's faint scent. A sudden harsh thought of 'Sidney Crosby' sounds in his head.

TJ and Ondrej rush forward, while the others form a line. UniBolt is in shock as Nathan rears up, swinging his front hooves (arms) in the air. The two Lightning players skid to a halt; TJ prepares his speed, ready to zip around Nathan or grab his friend and (wait for it) bolt, while Blesk begins to spark with electricity. Then the Czech player throws his arms out and shoots lightning from his palms at the moose.

"Pally, no!" Zvezda snaps. "Don't zap him! We need to calm him down! We're not going to hurt Nathan MacKinnon!"

Blesk stops obediently and lowers his arms. "So what do we do--?" He is cut off as Nathan snorts angrily and takes the distracted hero by surprise, connecting his hoof with Blesk's head.

"PALLY!" TJ screams.

"Come on Tyler, we gotta go help the Lightning out!" Jamie says, looking to his side and then to his other side. "Dammit! What the fun? Where's that dangerprone spy? TYLER SEGUIN?!" the captain of the Stars calls out, shaking his head. "Tyler, where are you?"

"Right here!" TJ calls out.

"Not you, the Seggy one!" Jamie spits. "TYLER, COME ON!! Now is SO NOT the time to get kidnapped!" He continues to look around for his friend, while the others are focused on the mad moose man.

"Man, I didn't think I'd need to do this, but here goes nothing..." Jonathan Drouin, UniBolt, flicks his head and points his horn right at Nathan. "Sorry Nate, but you can't hurt my teammate like that! Prepare yourself for the Pony Party, cause it's gonna be lit!" He gallops forward, skids to a halt and rears up.

Nathan spots him, dropping onto all fours. He cranes his neck, but readies his antlers to get in a fight and protect himself. UniBolt scrapes the lightly snowed grassy ground with his hoof. The Avalanche player lunges forward at his Lightning friend and the moose and unicorn begin to fight one another. Several low cow moos mix with the braying and neighing.

Nathan gets up and UniBolt follows him. They flick their arms carelessly in the air at one another and then return to trying to jab each other with their antlers and horn. The Lightning player prances about, trying to hold his ground against the much bulkier bull moose.

Nathan manages to shove him away and then goes for his old friend's side, jabbing and shoving him with his antlers. UniBolt snorts and finds himself sliding toward the hole in the ground where Sidney had fallen into earlier. The moose doesn't stop and sends the unicorn right into the hole momentarily before the Lightning player leaps out of the hole and lands on the ground, jabbing his horn at the Avalanche player once more.

UniBolt flicks his tail angrily behind him and rears up and plants his hooved hands on Nathan's antlers, allowing him to push the stunned moose backward. He lets go and prances to the side in a teasing-playing action.

Nathan takes the distraction and stalks UniBolt, who keeps an eye on him, before the moose lunges out, head first at the unicorn.

Meanwhile, as the unicorn and moose fight happens, TJ drops down to Blesk, who is shaking his head and trying to clear the hard hoof hit to it but is also seemingly fine. "Hey, you okay Pally?"

"Ano!" Blesk replies.

"You can speak Czech, that doesn't help, Pally! Come on." TJ grabs his friend's arm and puts it around his shoulder, helping him to his feet. They pause as Nathan and UniBolt's fight comes back toward them and they almost get trampled to death, before Portal teleports to them and gets them to safety, where Star Vision is standing.

TJ holds onto his friend tightly. "Thanks John."

"Don't mention it. Saving Tampa Bay Lightning players is just something I do now I guess. Vladdy knows that."

"Don't get your hopes up, Tavs," Blesk grumbles. "Had I not got hit on head...ow. Dang that moose has a powerful punch."

"Easy Pally," TJ whispers as Portal turns back to see Nathan pin UniBolt against a tree.

"Only in Russia would this - a unicorn man and moose man fighting one another - be somewhat normal," Portal remarks with a chuckle. "Jamie, tell Evs and Jo to lure Nathan out of the woods!"

Star Vision nods and bounds over to where the winged heroine is attempting to help the unicorn out by grabbing at Nathan's waist. He tells her about Portal's plan. She nods and together, the Dallas Star heroes work together to shove Nathan off of UniBolt and then take off running with everyone, toward the mountains.

Blesk, UniBolt and TJ run together, while Zvezda and Star Vision lead the group and The Russian Bear and Portal flank everyone. Nathan gallops angrily toward them from behind, unleashing a series of grunts and moose cries.

"Yo, Jo, can I get on your back?" Blesk asks.

"I'm not a unicorn-unicorn. I can't carry--" UniBolt begins to state.

"Thanks, buddy!" Blesk says as he separates himself from TJ and grabs onto UniBolt and wraps his arms around his friend's neck and his legs around his waist. The unicorn man rolls his eyes and continues galloping on, on his four-hooved hands and feet. Blesk smiles and pats him on the side. "Doing good, Jo, doing good. And all joking aside, thanks a bunch. I appreciate this a lot."

"You're welcome, Pally. I'm just waiting for the chirping I'll get from the annoying, arrogant Vladislav Namestnikov," UniBolt growls.

"Vladdy won't say anything. I'll make sure of it!" TJ vows as they race on and soon burst from the woods with Nathan skidding out after them.

Nathan stomps his hooves on the ground and creates another avalanche behind the group. Zvezda grabs Star Vision and takes him into the air, while Portal teleports the others out of harms way before returning them back to the - now snow-covered - scene. The Russian Bear steps forward, raising his hands up.

"Nathan!" the Penguin forward booms. "Calm down!" He then proceeds to emit moose sounds from his mouth in communication with the Colorado Avalanche forward. Nathan communicates back with harsher noises. The Penguin stomps his foot down on the ground and snaps, "Nathan MacKinnon, I know you're in there!"

Nathan backs up, shaking his head and snorts in anger and then gives a loud moose cry in fury.

"Nathan, come on, you killed Sid," The Russian Bear says, keeping on the moose. "And you could kill one of us, your friends if you don't stop." He translates his sentence into moose language.

Nathan shakes his head and rears up and then slams his hooves down on the ground causing it to rumble again.

"Okay, Pally, you've overstayed your welcome! GET OFF!!" UniBolt gets Blesk off of him and joins The Russian Bear. "Nathan, it's me, Jo, even though I'm a frickin' unicorn right now. It's still me. We're friends, not enemies."

The Colorado Avalanche player looks at the heroes and then lowers his head in a threatening fashion, pointing his antlers right at UniBolt once more.

Still The Russian Bear and UniBolt advance closer to the moose.

"Come on Nathan, I know you're in there!" The Russian Bear spits. "It's time to calm down and talk!"

Nathan back kicks and uproots a tree with his powerful back kick. Then he charges toward the Penguin and Lightning player. Before he reaches them though, TJ zooms at him and manages to grab the moose by the antlers and spin him around in a circle, before shoving him backward.

Nathan shakes his head to clear the dizziness, mumbling low moose sounds. He attempts to get up and crashes to the ground in a daze as TJ halts himself before The Russian Bear and UniBolt.

After a few minutes, Nathan gets to his hooves and pads forward, still somewhat dizzy. He walks with a noticeable limp and then suddenly stops, looks up and then sits down, blinking. He cocks his head to the side.

"Nathan, it's okay, we want to help you," the Penguin insists, nodding at him.

Nathan scrapes the ground and then opens his mouth as though to speak. Moose sounds come out at first and the Avalanche forward looks upset with himself. He takes a deep breath and then finally manages to say, "I know. I'm sorry. I killed Sidney."

Everyone gasps and shares a look. Had Nathan really just spoke? Could he speak? But what had made him go mad and cause him to be unable to speak?

The Russian Bear steps forward. "Don't worry Nathan, we're going to help you out. I forgive you and I'm sure it wasn't your fault at all. We'll get to the bottom of all of this, I promise!"
