Violet (VO) Everyone at ArrinDale University has been talking about the sudden miraculous return of Carmen Pepper. I'm just as surprised and shocked myself. But the thing is, how exactly did Carmen Pepper resurrect?

ARRINDALE UNIVERSITY ACADEMY

The next day, outside in the courtyard, Sonya, Ava, Jessy and I are sitting at a table with our cup to go of lattes.

"Everyone has been talking about Carmen." Sonya said.

"We thought she was dead. And suddenly, she's alive and well." Ava said.

"Guys?" I said, causing Sonya, Ava and Jessy to look up at Carmen Pepper slowly walks up to us.

"Go ahead and talk about me, everyone else is." Carmen Pepper said with a smal attitude.

"We're not talking about you, Carmen, we're just shockingly surprised to see you." I said to her.

"I should've never came back to ArrinDale University." Carmen said, walking away.

"Carmen, wait?" I said, getting up to my feet and walking over to her. "You can't let what the college academy students are talking about you push you away."

"Violet, I appreciate what you're trying to do. I really do. But I just need to be alone for right now." Carmen said to me.

Carmen walks away from me and I folds my arms. And I become worried about her.

In the lounge room, I'm sitting at the table, snacking on a plastic bag of yogurt raisins.

Jonny slowly walks up to me, wearing his T-Eagles leather jacket pulling up a chair and sits down backwards in it. "Hey, Violet."

"Hey, J. Zuko." I greeted back at him.

"So, everyone's talking about Carmen Pepper. She's become the attention." Jonny said, gently taking a yogurt raisin and eats it.

"Yeah, she is. And I was the person that she phone contacted." I tell Jonny.

"No way, really?" Jonny said, surprised.

"Yeah, really." I said to him. "At first, I thought it was some college prank or something, and even though, Carmen reassured me that it was her, I still was a bit suspicious. And so, I went to the Clearwater Swimming Hole and there she was."

"Damn." Jonny said.

"Yeah, I know. And now, everyone's talking about her, like, in a shockingly way." I said to him.

"Yeah, I get it. At first, Carmen died and a funeral, and now, suddenly, she's been resurrected." Jonny said.

"Cody Asher must've had something to do with it." I suggested.

"How could he possibly? He's in the ArrinDale Asylum?" Jonny asked me.

"Cody must've used his dark wizard magick to resurrect Carmen Pepper from her grave before he was committed into the ArrinDale Asylum, Jonny." I said to him.

"Either way, we need to find out." Jonny said to me.

"Yeah, and settle this once and for all." I said to him.

Jonny and I exchange determined looks at each other.

Violet (VO) The only way to get an answer, is to get it from the dark wizard, Cody Asher himself.

ARRINDALE ASYLUM

That afternoon, In the visitation room, Jonny and I are sitting at a visiting booth.

Two asylum guards escorts Cody Asher to the visiting booth. Cody sits down and gently takes the telephone.

I gently takes the telephone and holds it between Jonny and Me.

"To what I do owe this visitation?" Cody Asher asked.

"There's a young college student who's been mysteriously resurrected." I said to him.

"Carmen Pepper." Cody Asher said in his Australian accent.

Jonny and I becomes a bit surprised, in which Cody sly smirks.

"What? You thought I did not know? She's been a pretty good girl. After some weeks, and so, I resurrected her." Cody Asher tell Jonny and Me. "But be careful, Carmen Pepper isn't the sweet girl that she once was."

"What do you mean by that?" Jonny asked Cody.

Cody Asher smirks, gently hanging up the telephone. He gets up and walks away.

I gently hangs up the telephone, and Jonny and I exchange worried looks at each other.

ARRINDALE UNIVERSITY ACADEMY

In the cafeteria, Sonya, Ava, Jessy and I are sitting at a round green table with our lunch trays of food.

I look at Carmen Pepper, who just walked inside the cafeteria and everyone looks at her.

"Carmen?" I said, causing her to look at me. "Come over here."

Carmen walks over to me just as Heather Morgan sticks her Mary Jane shoe out, causing Carmen to trip over and falls on the cafeteria floor, making everyone chuckles at her.

"Why do you go back to being dead, Carmen Pepper." Heather Morgan teased her.

I gets up and walks over to Carmen Pepper and pulls her up to her feet. And Heather Morgan. "Why don't you leave Carmen alone, Heather."

Heather looks at Me. "Oh, wow. Violet Olson. The Knight In Shiny Armor. How's Jonny Zuko by the way? I'm pretty sure that you and him got it on the second the divorce was settled."

"At least, I have a boyfriend Miss. Wannabe Grumpy Mean Girl." I tell Heather.

"Violet? I got this." Carmen Pepper said to me.

"Yeah, Violet, Carmen said that she has this." Heather said to me.

"You know, Heather Morgan, one of these days, you're gonna get your comeuppance, and then, you will be the laughingstock of ArrinDale University Academy." Carmen Pepper tells Heather with a dark look in her eyes.

Heather Morgan becomes a bit worried. Carmen and I small smiles at her and we both walks away.

Carmen and I sits back down with Sonya, Ava and Jessy.

"Thanks, Violet." Carmen thanked me with a small smile.

"You're welcome. Next time's on you." I said to her.

Sonya, Ava, Jessy, Carmen and I exchange small smiles at each other.

JEN'S MILK-O-SHAKE MALT SHOP DINER

That night, Carmen and I are sitting in a booth table across from each other with our root beer floats.

"Heather's a bitch, but she's gonna get what's coming to her." Carmen said with her arms folded on the booth table.

"Carmen? Did you know that Cody Asher was The Malphas?" I asked her with my arms folded on the booth table.

"No, I didn't." Carmen replied.

"What do you remember?" I asked her.

"I woke up in a morgue, wearing a hospital gown, and I was covered in dirt. And I saw him. Cody Asher." Carmen tells me. "He told me that some weeks has passed and that he's a dark wizard. I didn't quite believe that until he used his magic to levitate the morgue table I was sitting on. I was shocked."

"And what happened then?" I asked her.

Carmen looks at Me. And I looks at her.

"Carmen? Do you know I'm a special agent." I reminded her.

"I know." Carmen said.

"What happened after Cody Asher resurrected you?" I asked her.

"He gotten me cleaned up, new clothes, and told me to stay at the Gale Saisons for a little while." Carmen told me.

"Do you trust him, Cody Asher?" I asked Carmen.

"Nope." Carmen said.

"Does your parents know?" I asked her.

"Yeah." A Carmen replied. "Craig and Maggie suggested that I stay home for a while until I readjusted myself, but nah."

Carmen and I exchange mildly looks at each other and we sips on our root beer floats.

OLSON HOME

Later on that night, in my bedroom, Scooby Beagle is laying in his dog bed. I'm gently reclining on my bed, playing on my PSP.

My PalmOne Treo phone buzzes on my nightstand. I gently picks up and looks at it.

Christine Reese

"Christine?" I said.

"It's about time we settle this, Violet. Once and for all." Christine Reese said on the phone, and hangs up her phone.
