THE WEB OF FEELINGS

He looked at her with hope, not for a yes but for her reason, her answer.

What could be so strong of a reason that she even dared to ran away from her own wedding without thinking about her family or what people say about her.

Until and unless, he doesn't know the answer and finds it strong enough for a reason to discard the wedding, he isn't going to support her either.

Hell!
To be honest, he doesn't want to support her in this. Not when she has succeed in creating havoc in his heart and senses with a simple smile of hers. That simplicity, that innocence of hers had tamed his mind and heart making him go all on her.

For days, he had kept imagining how it would when he will get to be with her with every damn right on her and they belonging solely to each other.

The employees had gone insane seeing the ASR smiling and exchanging pleasantries and concentrating most on a particular thing on his working table than his files, mails and laptop.

And then, here comes the cost splash of water like reality. The girl who managed to make him go almost insane has no intention of getting married to him.

She wishes to flee instead of getting tied in a lifetime sacred bond witht him.

Now, that hurts.
That really hurts.
But surprisingly not his ego but his heart.

He sighed seeing her in no intention of giving him an answer.

He stepped aside and turned around to walk when he heard a soft

Arnav

His breath hitched, he turned around in a jiff but what she said made him feel like beating himself if not someone else.

Pouting with a sad expression, she had said-

Please, pay the Panipuri bill.

Breathing fire like a bull, he had matched towards the stall and had thumped a 500 rupees note on the counter.

Giving a warning glare of not to mess with him, he marched again, when this time he heard a soft

Chote

Curling his fist in a ball he urged his mouth not to speak any hurtful words to her for whatever shit she speaks now.

He stood there neither turning nor walking away, patiently waiting for her to speak.

She with baby steps came and stood in front of him. He eyed her with his now bloodshed red eyes and for the first time, Khusho experienced what it actually means by being terrified by this look of ASR.

Her little shivering form along with the quivering lips, for the first time, made ASR feel guilty for looking like a monster in anger.

Somehow, he didn't want to scare this girl. Taking deep sighs of breath, he opened his eyes again to see the creases of her forehead decreasing.

Ahh!
He succeeded in taming his anger.
This girl is doing wonders to him even without him knowing.

If only, she would have agreed, he might have got to find a new ARNAV, may be the one, his di says is lost somewhere.

She looked at him and displayed a small smile to which he just thinned his lips.

I-I can't reason my denial. But, it has nothing to do with you. You are a very nice person Arnav. I didn't know men like you exist till few hours ago I met you.

Arnav's nose flared as a sign of her fanning his annoyance more and more but getting a grip over it, he mused her to speak as she had not completed yet.

She looked at him and said-

May be my reason would seem very childish and absurd to you too like others and I don't want to be dragged in the wedding alter by you after listening to it.

Exhaling deep, he took a step towards her and said with his gritting teeth-

Fine, you won't reason me the denial.
Not an issue but I won't let you stake yours and mine family's reputation in your stupidity.

She gulped being frightened for the determination he showed while saying that.

In next moment, making her heartbeat almost stop for a second, he held her hand and start dragging her with him.

She was horrified literally to find that GE is dragging her back towards her home.

She started her struggle abd plead in no second which made Arnav stop abruptly and then puling her towards rught in front of him making her crush herself with in his cage like arms.

Her eyes teared up and he regretted. Yes, he did regret.

Why would he make a girl like her cry?

He should definitely tell her what's in his mind.

He pushed her softly maintaing a decent space between them and said-

We are going back but I am not taking you there to marry me.

Her head shot up to him listening to what he said.

No, she didn't listen the correct thing. He definitely said something else.

I am not fooling you around.
His serious tone of voice laced with honesty reached her ears and she breathed rapidly to know what he exactly means.

I- I wanted to marry you. He said and her cheeks flushed at this. This sentence in that husky voice is enough for any girl to jump on the alter to be his.

She smiled and he continued-

No doubt on that but I would never force you or be it any girl to marry me.

Its your wish completely and no one holds a right to force you into something which turns out to be a dark pit not only for you but for the one you will be tied to.

For how long, she doesn't know.
But she kept staring this man standing right infront of her with respect and admiration.

Does such men like him really do exist?

And don't worry, you don't need to worry about it, I-I will take care of how to stop the marriage.

He said and she felt a pang. What kind of pang, she couldn't pin point.

I would say that I am not ready for it and in this way, the marriage won't take place nor will anyone question you.

He said with a generous smile while she asked with tears in her eyes, surprising him-

You will do this for me?

He nodded meeting her eyes and then turned his head to his right.

What about you and your family?

She questioned and he said replied rather rudely.

That's none of your concern, I will look into it.

Its already more than hurtful for him to call off the wedding and upon that she is asking these questions adding more to it.

Definitely, his di would be hurt and disappointed making him sad too.

But can he help it?

No. Not when the bride doesn't want to marry the groom.

I- emm-Thank you. He heard her saying and he replied with a nonchalant

Let's go.

We need to, I need to call off the wedding.

Suddenly he held a soft pair of hands sliding and holding his right one.

He turned towards her and sje asked meeting his eyes-

Do you liked me that much that you wanted to spend your whole life with me?

He too didn't break that eyelock and with an intensity of the heroes of William Shakespeare protagonist male character replied-

Like is an understatement, I can't voice out but what I felt for you wasn't just attraction or likeness, may be it is much more, much pious than it.

Her breathing shallowed with the intensity of his words and having a face off with his feeling which he even can't voice out.

She asked once more the same question but this time showing her dire need-

Then also, you would call off the wedding for me?

The averting of his eyes was a sign she won't get her answer.

He held her hand again this time dragging her softly while saying-

Let's go before any one finds about us missing.

She keeps walking matching his pace and her eyes stuck to his face with some unknown but deeply strong feelings.

They would reach home back and then the destiny would play its card.
