She has set a rigid wall around her heart and it's made up of ice. Even the warmth of my eyes can't melt her, but she's so beautiful that I am not able to stop thinking about her. I met her two days ago, that's it. I have never ever thought of falling for someone , but she just came as an exception. The day I put my feet here, my eyes first fell on her.. Everything was normal, I couldn't see her face because she was busy fixing her dupatta..

But as I started walking on the path filled with petals , I wouldn't have her, but the way she threw flowers at me, it made me stop. I have never craved girls attention, because wherever I go, I get numerous unwanted attention from them. But she's looking so annoyed and it's so obvious because of the way she's throwing flowers. I found her adorable..

I didn't think about her after that, but after a few minutes when I thought to take a look around the palace I saw her on the swing. Cold wind was blowing, her hair was flowing along with the breeze, her eyes were closed, but the frown was constant on her face. First she couldn't recognize me, she thought I was the prince's friend. I didn't break her bubble, because I loved her honest conversation.

She hates royal families, it's what I felt.

And till now whatever conversation I had with her, it's bitter from her side. She always looks scared because according to her a Prince can't talk with anyone outside Royal Family members. But I don't believe in such things. In the morning after the Priest left, I pulled her into my room.. I shouldn't have done that, it made her uncomfortable. I was so stupid. I should get a grip on my actions, but around her I forget my basic manners..

I was walking back & forth in my room, bua entered inside.. She's holding two cups of coffee.. I took one cup and we both headed towards the small terrace that's attached to my bedroom.. "You met Mishti in the morning, you had any sort of conversation with her? " I asked her, and she smiled out of curiosity.. "You seem so interested, do you like her? " She asked me, she's all excited.. I was thankful that I had someone with whom I could share my feelings..

"I don't know, I just umm you know.. Umm how would I make you understand.. I just met her recently and can't say I like her.. But she kind of attracts me. And I love when I see her around me, my heart just starts beating fast! " I explained, she chuckled and then burst out laughing.. I rolled my eyes, "I should have talked about this with Adyansh instead of you, " I stated, Adyansh is her son. Bua has lost her husband in an accident and from that time bua and Adyansh have been staying with us. Adyansh and I were born on the same day, but I am two minutes older than him.

He hasn't come here because he's taking care of our business.. "See, you know our family and their strict rules. You can't marry someone until & unless she belongs to a royal family, " she said, I put my head back on the headrest. "These rules suck! " I muttered, one thing bua knew that if I was thinking about a girl seriously, then I have marriage in my mind. But she and my heart, both need to apply the break. It's just two days!!!!!

"Don't worry Rajpaal, I will find the best guy for her.. " I heard grandpa's voice which was coming out from the garden, we both looked towards them.. My heart beat fastened when I saw Mishti, it looked like she had just come from a temple. She was holding an arti thali.. Grandpa & her papa were having a serious conversation, but I was unable to hear anything because my eyes and my mind were not ready to leave her..

Two little hair strands were falling around her cheeks, her long hair was falling freely on her back. She had a black bindi between her eyebrows and the white long anarkali was enhancing her beauty.. Straight out of a fairytale. How can someone not fall for her!! Her finger pushed the hair strands and tucked it behind her ear, I got a clear view of her face..

"Waoooo! " I muttered, three of them snapped their eyes towards me.. Shit! My eyes widened, did I say it loudly? "Yes wow! " Bua added, I looked at her with my eyes widened, "That flower looks so beautiful, " she pointed out at a small plant which was there near them.. Three of them looked at that plant, I sighed.. "Yeah, I know right, " I added , both grandpa and papa got busy in their conversation again, but Mishti's eyes remained on me..

She's not staring at me in anger, but her eyes were blank.. She looked at bua and then looked down. "Thank you bua, I love you! " I got up & hugged her, "I saved you this time, but stop acting like a creep, " she chuckled, I grinned and left the room.. I was on my way towards grandpa's room when I bumped with mom. "Don't start with my marriage topic now, " I warned her before she could even start anything. She didn't say anything and just left.. I stared at her, did she feel bad?

I decided to talk with her later, first I needed to see what my grandpa would do related to mishti's marriage. Grandpa came back after some fifteen minutes, "Hey young man! " I started, he smiled at me and we both entered his huge room.. A guy came and kept his laptop on the table.. I sat down beside him, he was looking serious .. " You look serious, what's the matter? " I asked him, I knew the reason, but I couldn't just make it obvious..

"Rajpaal trusts me more than anything and I have taken a big responsibility. I want to find a suitable guy for Mishti.. " He said, his assistant opened a website and left.. Papa went through some profiles, he took a pause and then scrolled down to know more about the guy.. That guy was so mehh!! "He is the son of a political family of Jaipur, he looks good and runs a company.. What do you think? " He asked me, I tried to keep my face normal..

"Don't you think that you should not send her to a political family, it's risky! " I said, he sighed and nodded. "Yeah, that's true! " He continued scrolling and after swiping a few profiles, he found another guy. "He has just returned from the UK after completing his masters, they are rich. What about him? " He asked me, "He doesn't look good, " I lied, grandpa stared at me. "You need an eye check up! " He commented, I rolled my eyes.

He opened another profile, I scrutinized my nose. I was wondering what to say next, "Can he cook? " I asked him, now he gave me a serious glare.. "We can't say that just by looking at his profile, " he said in anger, I gestured for him to continue his search.. He opened another profile, "I think he looks good, " he said, "His height is just 5'10"! " I replied, "What's wrong with that! " The way he shouted I almost jumped on my seat.. I blinked my eyes, mom ran into the room..

"What happened papa? " She asked him in fear, "Abir is finding every other guy defective, I was searching for a guy for mishti and he is not liking a single person, " he complained, mom narrowed her eyes. "I am sorry, but you chose the wrong person to ask.. Neither he would get married, nor would he let anyone get married! " She commented, I smiled innocently.. She came & snatched the laptop from grandpa..

"You should not take such a huge responsibility , what if the guy would turn out to be bad! " Mom warned, EXACTLY.. I screamed inside, but didn't make any noise. After searching for a few minutes, she chose a guy. Who needs an enemy when I have my dearest mumma!! "This is Vivaan Kapoor. I think he looks good plus he belongs to a well established family! " Mom said, I looked at the guy.. He had a good facial feature and his height was around 6 ft.. I decided to keep my mouth shut otherwise both will doubt me..

Grandpa called Mishti, I didn't leave the room.. After a few minutes someone knocked on the door, it was Mishti.. I didn't smile at her because mom was there and it wouldn't take her a second to know about my feelings.. Grandpa gestured for her to come inside, she was looking extremely nervous.. She sat beside grandpa as he instructed, "Ishani chose a guy for you, Vivaan kapoor.. Look at his profile! " He handed her the laptop, her eyes didn't leave the picture of that guy for two minutes straight..

I felt jealous, "No! " but her reaction surprised me. The way she was staring at him, I thought she would say yes. "I don't want to marry anyone who belongs to a political family! " She stated and shut the laptop, grandpa nodded and took the laptop from her.. "It's okay, I will find someone better, " Mom said, I gave her a side look. Who told her to find a guy for her? My own family is my enemy..

I walked out of the room, it's suffocating. I went to the garden and kept walking. It took me half an hour to take a round around the palace and then I stopped near the flower garden. I found her  , she's on the swing again. A smile crept over my lips, but it vanished as soon as I stared at her sad face. Her tears gained my attention, I took a step forward but then stopped myself.. My presence would annoy her more. Her eyes were closed and she was facing the sky.

A few more drops fell from her eyes, what made her so sad? Why is she always sad and always tries to escape from everyone? Why she hates everything and why nothing excites her. Why is she always in an annoyed mood and why doesn't she smile? I haven't seen her smile for once in these two days! How does she look when she smiles? Does her smile even exist? What the world has done to such a pretty girl?

"Curiosity kills a cat! "

I got startled due to the sudden whisper, it was my friend Ryle. I rolled my eyes, he has come with me from New York. "I have been noticing you lately and what's going on? " He asked me, I decided to not tell him anything. Because if I will, then he will tease me and will make my feelings stronger. He will tease her as well, so I didn't say anything.. "She is beautiful , should I go & try-" before he could complete his sentence I held his collar in a tight grip..

"Dare to look at her! " I warned him, a smirk formed on the corner of his lips .. I sighed and left his collar, so it's his plan.. Huh! "Ummm.. So something is cooking! " He grinned, "Bhabi looks good tho! " After hearing his words, my cheeks heated up.. "Look who is blushing, omg, " he shouted, I palmed his mouth and pushed him back before she could notice us..

"My life is already a mess, stop making it messier you idiot! " I scolded him, he narrowed his eyes.. "Fine.. " He mumbled, "She doesn't like my presence around her, so it's better if we don't talk about her.. " I said in an annoyed tone, his eyes widened. "See Karma! You have rejected thousands of girls in the past and now when you started liking someone, she rejected you.. " He said, I glared at him..

"First of all I can't accept every other girl's proposal and second I don't like her neither I got rejected.. I just find her beautiful that's it, " I cleared my point, "Attraction is the first step towards love! " He grinned, I punched his stomach.. "Don't blabber too much.. " I warned him.. I noticed grandpa coming towards us, "Please don't say any shit in front of him! " I made him understand..

We both stood there like we were not ready to kill each other before some time.. "Hey Ryle! " Grandpa approached him, he bowed down in front of him. "Do you have a girlfriend? " He asked him, my eyes widened . He must have chosen him for mishti, otherwise he doesn't ask such questions to my friend.. "He is married! Haha! " I lied after grabbing his shoulder and wrapped my hand around his upper arm.. Ryle looked at me with shocked filled eyes, I smiled widely and gestured for him to continue the lie..

"Yeah yeah.. I am.. " He said in a hesitating tone, grandpa's eyebrows furrowed and he left without saying anything.. Ryle pushed me hard and I fell on the ground.. "When did I get married? " He yelled at me, "He would have set you with mishti otherwise, which I don't want of course! " I said and stood up.. I pulled my hair in frustration, "Am I invisible or what? Why are none of them choosing me for her? " I pouted.

"Because you are allowed to marry a girl who belongs to a royal family! " He stated, I flared my nose and turned back to leave. But I bumped into someone and if I wasn't wrong it's a girl. I was standing near the corner so I didn't see anyone coming from the other side.. It happened so quickly that I couldn't understand anything, but held her. When my eyes fell on her, a small smile formed on my lips. It's mishti, again!

Her eyes were tightly shut and she's holding my shirt in a tight grip.. I was mesmerized by her beauty, she slowly opened her eyes. And it remained on my face, I couldn't blink my eyes. Suddenly a flash light fell on us, she quickly detached herself and snapped her head towards Ryle.. "I was taking a selfie, " he started looking here and there.. Such a dumb person!!! Mishti left without saying anything..

"Look what I captured, " Ryle said excitedly and showed me the picture.. "Next time you will do such stupid act, I will kill you, " I scolded him, before I could hold his phone and see the picture he snatched it away.. "Fine, I will delete it, " he said, "Let me see it, " I said, he shook his head negatively, "Nope! " He started running, I ran behind him.. "Ryle please stop, " I pleaded him, that guy was running like a dog was chasing him..

"I am sorry, please don't delete it! " I shouted, but he still didn't stop.. "If you will let me drive your Ferrari then I will, " he grinned, I stopped.. We both were breathing heavily, "Okay, I will.. " I said without any second thought, my chest was falling up & down. I usually don't let anyone drive my bikes or cars, but it's about our picture and I wanted to take it anyhow! He tapped on his phone, "Sent! " A notification popped on my phone, I opened the picture..

The way my heart started beating fast again and I went to some other world. "You will make me insane, I swear, " I whispered, I could never be grateful enough towards Ryle for such a beautiful capture.. That photo has my whole heart..

I kept the picture in my private folder and went inside the palace. It's filled with chaos, and I was way too happy to notice anything, so I went directly to my room. My mental peace broke into pieces when I saw the same priest in my room, both my parents were there. Dad gestured for me to go & sit in front of the priest, I did the same. "You are born in a royal family, still you don't believe in God & astrology! " He mocked, I was going to narrow my eyes, but mom's constant glare stopped me..

"Tomorrow is a very auspicious day. From 3:00 am to 12:00 pm, this time will make every impossible thing possible. You are going to meet the girl chosen by your mother, so when you meet her manifest to the universe to keep her with you forever. It will happen for sure. Take a bath in the royal pond at 3:00 and then do the Surya puja at 5:25 am, it's the exact time of sunrise. Ask God for forgiveness and for a life partner. The first sunrays is filled with spiritual power and I would recommend you to meet the girl during that time. But as it's not possible because she won't be able to come here in the morning hour. So just manifest good & positive things for your life partner! "

I blinked my eyes, how can mom believe such nonsense? Even dad! I smiled & nodded. He smiled , after keeping his palm in my head he left with dad.. "Her name is Megha! Meghashree Maheswari. Keep this in your mind and manifest it , " she said, I jumped to the sofa and laid down after keeping my head on her lap.. "My mother india is getting angrier and angrier day by day! " I complained.

"I am scared for you and your actions are making my situation worse. Get married as soon as possible otherwise your life will be at risk, " she said, I chuckled & pulled her cheek.. "Go & sleep! Your son won't go anywhere, take a chill.. " I said, she sighed. "Set your alarm at 3:00 am and take a bath in the pond. The guard will take you there. And yes if you ever loved your mother then you will respect my advice and will complete it... " She said in a worried and sad tone..

I decided to do everything for her peace of mind..

After an hour of constant disturbance I woke up and hit the alarm clock, "What's wrong with you? " I frowned, it's all dark out there.. I pulled the blanket over me and laid down.. The second phase of sleep was going to hit me, but mom's word hit me before that.. I woke up in a jolt and looked at the watch, it's 4:30 already. My eyes widened, I quickly jumped from the bed and went to the washroom..

After completing my morning work including taking a bath, I remembered Mom has told me to take a bath in the pond.. I had already worn a fresh pair of clothes, before mom could find me I decided to go to the lake. It would be a huge problem if I took the main door, so I decided to jump from the terrace..

But the idea was even worse, I called the guard who was standing down there in the garden. There were numerous guards, but he was standing nearest to my bedroom.. "Bring a ladder as soon as possible! " I ordered him, he did as I said and I climbed down.. I was about to run, but then I glared at him.. "Nobody should know about all this, okay? " I threatened him, he nodded positively..

I ran towards the pond, there were no guards around the pond and the pond was covered by walls and it was situated between a bunch of trees.. I was just running and running, after removing my tee I jumped into the water. "Damn! It's too cold, " I blabbered and pulled half of my body out of it.. It's not that deep, when my head came out, my body froze. Not because of the coldness of the water, but because of the hotness of the lady who was sitting just in front of me above a big stone..

"Mishteeeee? " Her name could barely come out of my lips, she was equally shocked as me.. The two pieces of white clothes were hardly covering any part of her body. As it's already the sunrise hour, the bright red and yellow hue was falling on her.. My eyes moved from her bare legs to her small bare waist, a piece of white cloth was covering her lower body till her knees. I looked up, waters were dripping down her hair and the droplets were running over her cleavage and then going down inside her blouse..

I gulped, gulped hard..

"What are you doing here? " She whisper-asked, her hand moved to her chest to cover herself.. I looked away, I should not have stared at her like that.. It made her uncomfortable.. "The priest has told me to take a bath here, but I came late, " I said, I was still looking towards the other side, but I could see her through the corner of my eyes. I never expected to have such a gorgeous morning..

"The priest told me the same and it's my time, you came late " she complained, "If anyone would see us together and that too in such condition, then it would be a problem for me, " she was scared, I ruffled my hair.. The sun has already risen , there would be numerous guards outside the pond. If we both would go together, then it would be a problem as well..

"Sir, I have brought your clothes! " The guard said while coming inside, both of our eyes widened.. I pulled her into the water, wrapping my arms around her waist , I pressed her against my body. "Don't you have basic manners? Next time ask permission before breaking my privacy! " I shouted, "I am sorry sir, " he left after placing my clothes.. I detached mishti away from me.. She was staring at me with shocked filled eyes..

My broad shoulders must have covered her tiny body.

"I have never seen this shade of yours! " He whispered, I kept my palm on the stone, caging her between me and the stone.. "You haven't seen so many shades of Abir Rajvansh, princess! " I mumbled in a husky voice.. She looked down, I took my own time to admire her beauty.. Her eyes were filled with awkwardness, her little nose, perfect lips and crimson red cheeks, I was so down bad for her.. She raised her long eyelashes, but I couldn't remove my gaze from her.. I was not scared, not at all.

"Can I hold your hand? " I asked her, she was shocked and she denied. Still I held her hand and kept her palm on my chest.. "Can you feel the heartbeat! " I asked her, she gulped.. My fingers were perfectly wrapped around her wrist and her slender fingers were placed over my chest.. "If you had to hold my hand anyway then why did you even ask for my permission? " She whispered, her innocence was killing me..

I leaned down, her breath became slow.. Her eyes filled with a little terror, I smiled playfully and smirked after rolling my eyes.. "Sometimes Prince can do according to their wishes! " I whispered, her palm was still placed over my chest.. I left her wrist, but she didn't remove her hand from me.. "Arrogant much? But you can never win my heart nor can you make me fall for you! " Her cocky reply broke my delusional bubble , but I liked it..

"Confident much? Are you challenging me? " I whispered, "I had a bad impression towards the Royal Families and you were no different.. Thank you for proving me right! " She said and took off her hand.. I pulled myself back, "I didn't mean to win your heart by showing my power, " I said, but she was already disappointed.. She changed her way and then went out of the water.. I did the same.. The white material she was wearing was very thick and I was thankful about it..

She wrapped a white towel around herself, "I will tell the guards to empty this place, " I said, she nodded. Her frown was back, how I always end up annoying her while my intentions are always the opposite.. We both walked towards the exit, she stood a little away from me.. "I want everyone to leave this place! " I ordered them, without saying anything they all left. Her house was near, so it won't be a problem..

When I guided her to leave, the Priest came towards us.. My eyes widened.. She was not wearing a proper cloth, so she hid behind me. His usual smile was plastered on his face.. "It's just a coincidence and we met by accident! " I said, it's the truth actually.. The priest chuckled, "In God's world nobody meets by accident, everything is happening according to his plan, " his words made my heartbeat faster. We both didn't say anything for a moment, "Guruji, please don't tell it to anyone! " She requested him, he smiled and left..

"All of this happened because of you! " She scolded me , I was staring at the Priest's disappearing figure.. "Whatever this priest says, is it true? " I  whispered, she turned silent. I looked at the sun, the Priest has advised me to manifest a better life partner during sunrise. Here we both were standing together and the first sunrays also fell on us when we were together. It made me happy .. I turned towards her and then stared at the sun..

"For once in my lifetime, I want to believe in God and this Priest! " I stated, our eyes remained on each other.. "For once in my lifetime , I don't want to believe all these spiritual things, " She said and left by taking the other path where there would be no guards.. My heart was broken again.

I made my way towards the terrace of my bedroom, the guard brought the ladder.. "Sir it's your own mansion, why are you-" he took a pause as I just stared at him.. But then Mishti's words knocked my mind, she hates people who have powers and who misuses it.. I cleared my throat and laughed. The guard looked confused and maybe started questioning his own existence. Maybe he thought I needed therapy..

"Sometimes we should exercise right! " I chuckled , he was totally judging me.. "But after looking at your abs anyone would say that you workout everyday! " He said, I was shirtless.. "But cardio is important too, " I said, he nodded.. He didn't ask me any questions further, "Please don't tell anyone about this cardio practice, " I said to him, he nodded.. I climbed up and jumped into my room.. After taking another shower I wore a traditional maroon kurta and white pants..

I unlocked the bedroom door and sat down on the sofa. A servant came with my coffee and the newspaper. The first thing I noticed was the love horoscope, I grinned and pulled the newspaper to read it.. My zodiac sign was Sagittarius, I have just read one line when I felt someone standing just in front of me.. I looked up, it's mom.. Not only her, Ryle was standing beside her.. I smiled innocently and kept the paper back..

"I have never seen you reading newspaper, " she crossed her hands over her chest, I licked my lips. "He gets all the news from his PA, " RYLE added, I glared at him, but then made a straight face due to mom's glare.. "Just know you are cooked when you start reading love horoscope! " Ryle commented and left.. I scratched the back of my head, "I was reading some other thing, " I lied, her glare remained the same. I pouted internally..

"Did you visit the temple? " She asked me, she was clearly annoyed with my behavior. I understand her concern for my life, but again I don't believe what the Priest said that day. How would a marriage fix the fault in my stars? Huh! "I will just visit it now, " I stood up and headed towards the terrace, "Are you going to jump off the terrace or what? Here is the door! "

Her voice stopped me, I shut my eyes. What was I doing? I didn't look at her angry face and made my way out of the door. I went to the temple which was five hundred meters away from our palace. It's a Radhakrishna temple, there's another priest.. After doing the puja I turned around to leave, but my eyes fell on Mishti..

What a good day!!!!

She was climbing the stairs while chanting some mantra.. I gasped, she's wearing a maroon anaarkali, her dupatta was blowing backward in the air. Her long hair was freely falling on her back.. She hasn't noticed me.. She touched the last stair and then touched her forehead. She's so busy with God that she didn't notice me.. After giving the prasad plate to the Priest, she folded her palms together and closed her eyes..

I stood beside her and stared at her.. She had wrapped her dupatta around her head now, I blinked my eyes.. When the priest completed his puja, I closed my eyes.. After a few seconds when I opened my eyes I felt her eyes on me.. But I behaved like I didn't notice her.. I applied the sindoor on my forehead and turned back and acted shocked to see her..

"Omg we met again! " I said in a surprised tone, she just stared at me.. "I saw you here while coming. Just because I ignored your existence that doesn't mean I didn't notice you! " She flipped her hair and left.. "Damn! " I kept my palm over my heart, "She looks beautiful even when she's angry! " I muttered, I took her balaye.. The priest was staring at me and was giving me weird looks.. "Keep it between us okay? " I told him and left.

The whole world would get to know about my feelings before my family could. Then I would be dead.. I ran behind her, but she has already left...
