It was evening and Athiya was sulking big time.

Rahul: Tia..

Athiya: Don't Tia me Rah.. Mujse puchhe bina aise kaise aapne reception ki announcement kar di aur sab ko invite kar liya aur to aur aapne women's team ko bhi bula liya aur uper se hum dono ke liye designer outfits bhi le liye.. Kisne bola tha itna kharcha karne ko..

Rahul: Wait.. first clear Karo why are you sulking? Because I announced reception without asking you or I invited women's team or I ordered designer outfits?

Ritz: None of the above

Rahul: What??

Anu: Obviously Rah..

Sakshi: Biwi hai tumhari. Usko problem hogi hi jab tum kharcha karoge

Mahi: Are lekin isme se kon sa kharcha fizul hai?

Rahul: Exactly..

Athiya: Of course hai. Kisne bola tha designer outfits lene ko? Aur apne itne saare logo ko bulaya hai. Uper se Maa aur Dad bhi nahi aa pa rahe aise short notice pe

Rahul sighed. He sat on his knees on the floor in front of Athiya and hold her hands.

Rahul: Tia.. Firstly calm down. Shaadi ke baad reception hota hi hai na. Aur waise bhi.. everyone should know none can mess with my wife and live like nothing has happened

Athiya (suspeciously): Matlab??

Rahul cupped her face with one hand.

Rahul: Matlab yeh ki sab ko pata chalna chahiye ki you are my wife and they have to stay in their limits.. This beautiful lady is already taken.

Athiya: Lekin apne social media pe dal diya na.. phir..

Rahul: Tia.. this reception is your right. You deserve it as my wife.. my life partner.. Please let me do it the way I want to..

Athiya eventually agreed. Then the ladies went to kitchen.

Rahul: Boys... You have my full permission. Do whatever you want to do but with staying in your limits

Rishu, Ishu, Shubhi: Done Bhaiya..

It was the afternoon of the next day and all the preparation of the reception was done. RahIya were in their room where Athiya was sitting quite anxiously and nervously.

Rahul: Tia calm down. Why are you tensed? It's just a reception na

Athiya: Hmm..

Rahul: Kya hua?

Athiya: Nothing Rah.. bas mood nahi hai thoda

Rahul checked her forehead and neck with back of his hand.

Rahul: Tabiyat theek nahi lag rahi? Bhabhi ko bulau?

Athiya: Are nahi baba. Aisa kuchh nahi hai. May be itne saare log ayenge na to shayad iss liye.

Rahul took her in a side hug and she snuggled more into hug.

Rahul: Mere sath rehna.

Athiya: Aap mujhe chhod ke nahi jaoge na?

Rahul: Kabhi bhi nahi..

Rahul kissed on her hair. They stayed like that in the hug while Rahul kept occasionally planting soft kisses on her hair to calm her down. He knew she might feel uncomfortable with so many strangers but she has to learn to adapt all such things. She is rising star in women's cricket and he knew she will come in limelight a lot and that will be soon enough and the irony can be he might not be available for her all the time.. He has to make her strong.. Well he knew she is strong but the past events have affected her a lot. He himself is affected but he was there with people who were supporting him like anything and he is able to get out of that zone. But here for Athiya, It will be only him and he knew it.

Rahul was still lost in his thoughts and he was about to kiss on her hair once again when Athiya tilted her head towards him. Rahul was about to kiss her when she kept her hand on his mouth breaking his trance. He looked at her who was blushing looking down and then at their position. A blush came on his face making his cheeks heated and a smile formed on his lips. Athiya whose hand was still on his mouth felt him smiling making her blush even more and she hid her face hugging him tightly. Rahul chuckled and she smacked him lightly.

Athiya: Rah..

Rahul: Hmm..

Athiya snuggled more.

Athiya: Kuchh nahi..

Rahul: Are bolo bhi..

Athiya: Nothing.

Rahul caressed her hair.

Rahul: Tia.. ghabrana mat okay.. main rahunga tumhare saath pure time. Aur agar kahi busy ho jau to bhabhi ke sath ya apni team ke sath rehna.

Athiya nodded in yes and broke the hug. Rahul kissed on her forehead. They heard a knock on the door. Rahul opened it and found Virushka there.

Anu: Tia ko ready karna hai..

Rahul: Haan aao na andar..

Anu came inside and went to Athiya and they both were choosing the jewellery and everything. Rahul was looking at them. Virat tapped on his shoulder.

Rahul: Ji??

Virat: Sir apko ready nahi hona hai?

Rahul: Haan.. woh main..

Virat: Haan woh main baad me okay.. chalo ab..

Rahul: Vi Bhai..

Virat (chuckling): Chalo..

He dragged Rahul from there who was looking at Athiya who was chuckling but also understood that he wanted to say something but couldn't.

Anu: O hello madam.. gaye apke patidev.. ab ready ho jaye?

Athiya nodded in yes looking down.

Everyone was ready and MahiRo were greeting the guests. Virat was ready and was checking out last minute preps. The youngsters were also ready with their things.

Anu with the help of other ladies was done with making Athiya ready and they themselves too were ready.

Sakshi: Wow Tia.. You are looking stunning

Ritz: Rah to pura flat honewala hai aaj..

Athiya blushed.

Anu: Waise jaisi tum lag rahi ho na Tia.. It's way way way too much hard to not say that you will be needing jacket tomorrow for sure.

Athiya gasped audibly and rest all chuckled.

Anu: Achchha Ab main chalti hoon aur tumhare oji sunte ho ji ke bhejti hoon..

Ritz: Haan chalo.. chalo..

Anu and Ritz went from there. Sakshi put a kala tika behind Athiya's ear.

Sakshi: Bahut pyaari lag rahi ho

Athiya: Thank you

Sakshi: Tia.. ek baat kahu?

Athiya nodded in yes.

Sakshi: Rah ne sach me tumhe apni patni swikar kar liya hain. Woh haq bhi de diya hai jo tumhe milna chahiye. May be he is not able to express himself properly. Lekin jaise woh khoya rehta hai na tumhare khayalo me.. aur jaisi aaj tum lag rahi ho.. Anu ne jo kaha woh sach bhi ho sakta hai..

She teased at last to which Athiya literally burried her face in her palms blushing hard. Rahul came there directly opening the door without knowing Sakshi was there.

Rahul: Tia woh main tumhare liye gi....

He stopped as he saw Sakshi there.

Rahul: Bhabhi aap..

Sakshi: Main to bas ja hi Rahi thi. Tum dedo apna gift..

Rahul: Ji??

Sakshi: Yahi bol rahe the na.. Dedo dedo..

Sakshi started leaving from there but stopped and peeked from behind Rahul. Athiya looked at her.

Sakshi (mouthed): All the best..

She signed towards Rahul who was just looking at Athiya as he saw her all ready.. he was awestruck. Athiya then looked at Sakshi who winked and ran from there. Athiya looked down blushing. She cleared her throat which broke Rahul's trance and he internally facepalmed himself for getting lost in her beauty.

Rahul closed the door and went to cupboard and took out a small box. He gave it to Athiya.

Rahul: Yeh tumhare liye

Athiya: Isme kya hai? Aur iski kya zaroorat thi?

Rahul: Kholo to baba..

Athiya opened it and found there was a proper chuda of matching bangles and Kadas to her saree. Her eyes twinkled as it was actually very much pretty and was going perfect with her saree. They were anyways not able to find bangles and forcefully have settled with a bracelet but now she was having a proper chuda.

Athiya: This is so pretty

Rahul: You like it na..

Athiya: I love it Rah..

Rahul smiled.

Athiya: Kaha se liya?

Rahul: Woh main market gaya tha na kal to waha se alag alag shops se liya

Athiya (surprised): Yeh ek chuda set nahi hai?

Rahul: Umm.. no.. kyu nahi hai sahi?

Athiya: This is perfect. Lekin alag alag liya hai to yeh chuda kisne banaya?

Rahul: You man at your service Ma'am..

Athiya: Aapne.. aapne banaya??

Rahul: Ab you know na I love this sound so much to.. yun samaj lo apne liye hi liya hai

Athiya hold his hand and placed the chuda in it.

Athiya: Ab banaya hai to pehna bhi do..

Saying so she took off the bracelet. Rahul hold her hand and made her wear the chuda set by his own hand.

Rahul: You know you are looking very pretty

Athiya: Aap bhi bahut achchhe lag rahe ho..

Rahul: Ab to tumhe apne paas hi rakhunga.. are Bhai kisi ne line marna shuru kar diya to..

Athiya chuckled and smacked him lightly at his teasing. But Rahul being all serious on making it clear to everyone that she is already taken, He made her Mangalsutra look properly visible.. He put Sindoor in her hairline once again making it more visible.

Rahul: Ab theek hai..

Athiya once again chuckled at his antics but was happy too seeing him showing his right over her. She has  never voiced it out but whenever he does such things, she always feels she belongs to him. It gives her assurance that she was not a burden of responsibility for him. If Mahesh was there and they have got married, she might not felt like that.. but now.. and the way things had taken place, the doubts in her mind and heart will take time to fade..

Shubhi came and knocked at the door. Rahul opened it.

Shubhi: Bhaiya.. Bhabhi.. chalo.. bula rahe niche. Waise bhabhi.. looking awesome Haan.. Bhaiya.. kitne ghayal hue??

Rahul: Tujhe maar khani hai? Chal ja.. we are coming..

Shubhi: Ja raha hoon na..  Aao aap.

He went. Rahul came to Athiya.

Rahul: Chale Princess?

Athiya nodded in yes taking a deep breath.

Rahul: Relax. I will be with you always. Come..

He hold her hand and came downstairs. Everyone welcomed them with a huge round of applause. Athiya hold Rahul's arm quite tightly as she felt nervous. Rahul kept his other hand on her hold over his arm and assured her by patting over it. But she was still looking quite nervous. Rahul removed her hold over his arm gently and kept holding her that hand and removed his hold and took her in a side hug by holding her from her waist.. pulling her towards him more making her look at him.

Rahul: Ab theek?

Athiya nodded in yes with a smile.

Virat (dramatically): Haaye mere do anmol ratan.. kitne pyaare lag rahe ho dono..

All laughed. Nidhi has already arrived there and was looking at the couple with envy. She too heard Virat's remark.

Nidhi (in mind): Anmol Ratan.. pyaare lag rahe hai my foot

She went to bar counter and asked for a drink. The bar tender looked at Rishu who nodded in yes. The bar tender gave her a shot. She quickly took it but it was too spicy that she started coughing and gulped down two glasses of water.

Rishu: Kya hua?

Nidhi: Yeh kitna teekha hai

Rishu: Yeh to bilkul sahi hi hai. Kya pata apki zabaan ko ab sirf teekha hi achchha lagta ho..

He went from there and Nidhi didn't miss the hint in it. She understood it was made like that for her. She stomped her feet.

Rahul was meeting his other associates and friends and was introducing Athiya who too started getting comfortable after a while as Rahul didn't live her for a moment.

Rahul: Hey Vinay.. Tia he is Vinay

Vinay: Hi bhabhi.. looking gorgeous Haan..

Athiya: Thank you

Vinay tried to hug Athiya but Rahul stopped him.

Rahul (gently): She is not comfortable with being too touchy.. hugs and all.. you know

Vinay: Oh.. sorry.. And by the way.. man got one just like him for himself.. Isko bhi nahi pasand

Rahul chuckled.

Rahul: Tia.. he works in bollywood industry mostly as Manager. So isko aise hi Milne ki adat hai.

Athiya: Oh..

Vinay (teasing): Waise bhabhi ko to touchy hone deta hai ya unko bhi...

Rahul: Well will never mind her being touchy..

Vinay chuckled and then he got a call and went from there.

As soon as he left, Athiya smacked Rahul lightly..

Rahul: What??

Athiya: Kya tha yeh?

Rahul: Kyu? Tumhe nahi pata kya tha?

Athiya: Rah..

Rahul: Tia..

Athiya: You are impossible

She huffed and Rahul chuckled. He again took her in a side hug and kissed on the side of her forehead.

Athiya: Rah.. kya kar rahe ho sab ke samne?

Rahul: Achchha ji.. sab ke samne aise side hug is allowed.. forehead kiss is not allowed.. Yeh to nainsaafi hai mere forehead kiss ke sath..

Athiya looked at him amusingly to which Rahul laughed lightly making her chuckle too. Athiya's gaze fell on women's team.

Athiya: Women's team se mil le?

Rahul: Let's go princess

They went towards the women's team meanwhile Nidhi called a waiter who was serving starters. She was about to take her plate when Ishu took it and passed it to Shubhi. Nidhi was about to take the second plate but Ishu took that too for himself and the third and last one he took for Rishu and went from there. Nidhi stood there huffing. She called for the second waiter who gave her her plate. She ate one piece which was too bitter. Then she ate the second piece which was too spicy again.. there was a third piece too but she didn't dare to even try it.

Nidhi: Yaha pe reception ke liye invite Kiya hai ya beizzati karne ke liye

Shrey: Obviously the second one..

Nidhi huffed and turned to go but bumped into Harry.

Harry: Just remember.. Rah is a kind soul.. but we are not. Agar tumhari wajah se Rah ya Tia ko zara si bhi takleef Hui.. humse bura koi nahi hoga..

Nidhi got scared and she went from there to a side.

Rahul and Athiya reached to the women's team who were busy in chit chatting.

Rahul: Hello Saali Saahiba..

All chuckled but greeted him back.

Jammy: Hey bro..

Rahul: Hey Sis..

They both shared a separate hug.

Jemmy: Kya baat hai aaj hamari Athu aur meri bhabhi kuchh zyada hi beautiful lag rahi hai..

Smriti: Haan.. I was thinking it's because of blush of the make up or..

Dipti: Kisi aur ka jadoo hai..

Athiya blushed at the teasing whereas Rahul chuckled.

Rahul: Well I'll go with second one.

Athiya looked at him.

Rahul: What?? It has to be me. You don't use make up blush.

Harman: Athu.. Jiju to kitna khul ke bol rahe hai. Tum ab to sharmana bandh karo warna lifelong aise hi sharmate rahogi

Athiya: Kya di.. inko to bas mujhe chidhana hota hai jab dekho tab..

Rahul: Aur madam aapne mere sare bhaiyo aur bhabhiyo ko apni side karke rakha hai uska kya..

All chuckled. Harry came there.

Harry: Bahut hasi thitholi ho rahi hai yaha.. what's up girls?

Rahul: Everyone is sensible here Harry and there is no need of any insanity.. and girls are doing fine. Thank you

Athiya: Rah.. theek se baat Karo mere bhai se..

Rahul: See.. mera bestie iska Bhai ban gaya hai.

All chuckled

Harry: But the transition is worthy

Rahul made a face at him to which Harry too did the same. Athiya's gaze fell on Radha who was standing quite a far. She went to her. Rahul saw her going towards Radha and knew she was her teammate so he let her go.

Athiya: Hey Radhu..

Radha: Hi Athu..

They both hugged each other.

Athiya: Come to us na.. yaha akele kyu khadi ho?

Radha: Nahi na..

Athiya: But why? Kuchh hua hai kya?

Radha: Nahi.. woh.. actually...

Athiya: Kya?

Radha: Woh Rahul hai waha..

Athiya looked at Rahul then at Radha and then chuckled. She dragged her to Rahul while she kept protesting. The girls chuckled and Harry frowned.

Harry: Yeh to wahi Miss Catcher hai na? Isne kafi saare catches kiye the..

Rahul: Haan wahi hai.. umm.. Radha right..

Radha (surprised): You know me??

The girls chuckled.

Rahul: Yeah.. I mean I have seen you in the last series and when Tia talks about you all. I actually forgot your name but iss series me phir yaad reh gaya. Nice to meet you Radha..

Radha: N.. Nice to meet you too..

Athiya chuckled and soon joined by girls and they laughed making Rahul and Harry confused whereas Radha was busy in sinking in the reality that she was talking with Rahul

Rahul: Why are you laughing a lot?

Athiya: Rah.. Radhu has a huge crush on you..

Rahul (surprised): Really??

Harry (whining): Really??

Radha (sheepishly): Really..

Athiya went to Harry and nudged him.

Athiya: What's that with your really??

Harry (fumbling): Umm.. nothing.. what's there.. nothing's there.. hehe..

He went from there.

Rahul: Well umm.. I don't know what to say..

Rahul said nervously blushing and Athiya chuckled.

Athiya: Relax Rah.. she just has a harmless crush. She cares for both of us a lot. (Whispering) Nidhi wali baat me mujhe kafi madad ki thi isne ki main usko chhod ke aap pe focus kar paayi..

Rahul smiled and nodded in yes.

Rahul: Thanks

Radha: Thanks kis liye?

Rahul: Tia ne bataya aap ne kafi help ki uski..

Radha: Firstly you can call me Tum aur rahi baat help karne ki to I genuinely care for you and for her both.. So.. just tried to help her.

Rahul: Still.. Thanks..

Radha: Umm.. can I.. Can I get your autograph?

Rahul: Yeah sure..

Radha: Lekin mere paas kuchh nahi hai jisme aap autograph de paoge

Rahul: Don't worry.. Your will get your autograph for sure. And you too call me Tum only..

Radha: Done.. Athu.. Thanks yaar.. You are the best..

Radha hugged her to which she too hugged her back. They broke the hug.

Radha: You have married to the best girl on the planet

Rahul: Well I indeed have..

Rahul said it while taking Athiya back in the side hug to which she blushed hard.

Nidhi was glaring at Athiya and Rahul when she got a call. She received it and talked.

Nidhi: Are you sure?

Nidhi: Okay.. Mil jayenge tumhe tumhare paise.. ab rakho phone

Nidhi disconnected the call.

Nidhi then went to the common friends she has with Rahul and mingled with them like there was nothing in her mind and heart against them.

Vinay called Rahul and Athiya to them and they welcomed them teasingly. Their other friend Abhay and his wife Abha stopped them.

Abha: Stop teasing them yaar..

Rahul: Look whose saying this.. Jo khud kabhi pichhe nahi hatti..

Abha: Yeah but.. I feel we should not tease you guys na..

Athiya: It's okay Abha.. hume bura nahi laga

Abhay: No bhabhi.. It's not like that.. but..

Vinay: Haan Actually we should not tease..

Rahul: Hey guys.. what happened? Why are you all behaving like this so suddenly?

Abha: Rah.. let's leave it na. Aaj khushi ka din hai.. let it be..

Rahul: Kuchh hua kya?

Abha: No no..

As they were having quite animated discussion, Men's team and Women's team both got interested into it and they instinctively came closer to listen what was the discussion going on there.

Abha: Rah.. kuchh hua nahi hai. But.. look.. Rah.. Athiya.. Sorry for the loss guys.. we didn't know tum dono ki shaadi kin halat me hui and we were just teasing you both mercilessly.

Athiya's smile vanished. Rahul's jaw tightened. He pulled her closer to him.

Nidhi smiled viciously. Radha and Harry both saw it.

Radha & Harry: Iss Nidhi ko to main..

They both stopped and looked at each other.

Radha & Harry: Tumne bhi wahi dekha jo maine...

They both nodded in yes together.

Harry: She is crossing her limits.

Radha: Iska kuchh to karna padega

Abha: Once again Sorry guys..

Athiya: Isme sorry kaisa.. Aur waise bhi jo shaadi baad me honewali thi woh pehle ho gayi.. matlab jaldi ho gayi.. Maa ne to mujhe pehle hi pasand kar liya tha Rah ke liye.. Aap log na Maa ko puchhna.. Woh batayegi..

Rahul too joined her

Rahul: Haan.. Aur yeh to mere ghar pe raj karti hai. Mom and Dad mujse zyada iska sunte the pehle se hi aur ab to bahu ban gayi hai to ab main bhi inke rajya ka part ban gaya hoon..

He joked at the end and all chuckled. They continued talking when Athiya excused herself. Anu and Ritz went after her to a side.

Anu: Tia.. bachcha theek ho na..

Athiya: Ji bhabhi..

Ritz: Tia it's okay to feel bad ..

Athiya: Mujhe kyu bura lagega bhabhi..

Anu and Ritz knew they were clearly not able to surpass her walls. Rahul came there. They both signed him to talk to her and he nodded in yes. They went from there giving them some space.

Rahul went to Athiya and put his hand on her shoulder.

Rahul: Tia..

Athiya hugged him tightly hiding her face in the hug. He held her protectively. He kept rubbing her back.

Rahul: You okay Tia?

Athiya nodded in yes and broke the hug.

Athiya: Chale?

Rahul: You sure?

Athiya: Ghar pe guests aaye hai.. hamare guests hai aur hum hi aise rahenge to kaise chalega? Let's go

They all had dinner and both teams tried hard to make Rahul and Athiya smiled which eventually worked and they both were smiling and chuckling with them.

After the dinner, as the everyone out there was settling in chatter, they were called for couple dance. Virushka pulled RahIya in the middle. The DJ played "Jab koi baat bigad jaaye" song and the dance started. The couples swayed slowly melting down with the song and its lyrics. The dim lights were helping them to be in the flow of the song. Athiya kept her head on Rahul's shoulder who held her protectively.

Rahul: You okay na Tia?

Athiya: Aap ho na mere sath.. bas main theek hoon phir. Lekin phir kal subah wapas Jana hai

Rahul made his hold tighter. He didn't want her to go but he also didn't want to become a distraction.

Rahul: All the best for the series Tia..

Athiya: Thanks Rah..

The song was stopped and the couples were greeted with huge round of applause.

Nidhi: Wohoo.. You guys danced beautifully.

All were surprised to see her praising them. Athiya uncomfortably shifted more towards Rahul who held her tightly. She really didn't want any discussion with her right now. Her mood was already very much down.

Nidhi: OMG guys.. The newly weds stood under mistletoe.

The people who understood what was coming facepalmed themselves from women's team and their hearts skip a beat in men's team.

Shrey (whispering): Why did we even chose to keep mistletoe?

Athiya: Haan to..

Rahul: It's not Christmas

Nidhi: Of course baba. Why are you becoming conscious though?

It made Rahul uncomfortable.

Annie one of their friend said.

Annie: Well I know it's not Christmas but it's more of a tradition to show the commitment you know.

Athiya: Kya tradition? Kya baatein ho rahi hai?

Annie: Athiya.. It's a tradition that couple who stood under mistletoe kiss each other. It's more to show the commitment. And if they don't, many people think it as a bad luck.

Athiya visibly looked uncomfortable after hearing this. She stood slightly apart from Rahul. She looked at Rahul who was equally uncomfortable but was masking it with his poker face.

Athiya: Woh.. main.. matlab..

Mahi: It's okay guys.. you don't need to..

Athiya (whispering & scared): Lekin phir bad luck??

Rahul knew how much scared she will feel. He hold her hand into his making her look at him.

Rahul: We will do it Mahi Bhai..

Athiya looked at him with shocked expression. Rest all clapped hard for them and encouraged them. But Men's team and ladies knew they both will be uncomfortable. And the women's team too could sense the uncomfortableness between the couple but they were not sure.

Rahul looked at Harry who nodded in yes. Rahul held Athiya closer and he cupped her face. Harry and Shrey very much dimmed the lights. Rahul kissed on Athiya's forehead.

Rahul: I promise Tia.. I'll always be with you no matter what.

Athiya smiled widely and hugged him tightly hiding her face which was now turned into red with her once again blushing hard because of his forehead kiss.

As the lights were again brighter, all could see the couple in hug and Athiya's face was red with her blushing hard and they clapped for them making them broke the hug.

Nidhi stomped her foot. She then went to washroom. Radha and Harry both have followed her.

Radha: Isko to man karta hai maar maar ke kachumbar bana doon

Harry: She is not worth it

Radha: Yeah.. Chalo Kam pe lagte hai..

Harry nodded in yes and they both continued switching on and off the light of the washroom Nidhi has got into. As they heard the door opening sound, they both hid behind the pillar. Nidhi was looking scared and because of continuous flicker of the lights, her touch up on her mack up got disturbed and her mack up started looking uneven making her looking quite weird. All were giving her weird looks too but she ignored.

But now it was time for ending the party.

All were meeting the couple and were going back. Rahul was talking to his one of the friends and Athiya was bidding a bye to Women's team. Women's team left and Athiya was about to go to Rahul when Nidhi came to her.

Nidhi: Congratulations for the marriage.

Athiya: Thanks

Nidhi: Waise.. Rahul ne apna til cover karwa diya kya tattoos ke sath? Uske chest pe right side pe tha na..

Athiya frowned.

Nidhi: Tumhe to pata hi hoga na biwi ho uski..

Rahul heard it. He approached to both of them.

Athiya: Inke chest pe right side pe koi til nahi hai.. Jo hai woh left side pe hai.. Bilkul inke dil ke uper.. nazar ka tika you know.. Kafi log apni buri nazar laga ke baithe hai.. iss liye inhone socha ki uss til ko aise hi rehne de. Buri nazar se bachayega.

Athiya hold Rahul's arm who was looking at her with pride in his eyes.

Athiya: Biwi hoon na inki.. mujhe to pata hi hoga na..

Nidhi: Yeah of course.. anyways bye..

Saying so she started leaving but Rahul stopped her.

Rahul: Nidhi..

Nidhi: Haan..

Rahul: Lagta hai theek se khatirdari hui nahi tumhari.. aur karwani hai?

Nidhi: Rahul.. tum..

Rahul: Aage se mujse aur meri biwi se aur meri family se door rehna. Aur isko Jo samajna ho samjo.

Nidhi went from there.

Nidhi (in mind): Yeh mat samajhna ki aaj kuchh nahi kiya to age kuchh nahi hoga. Tum dono ko to main sabak sikha ke rahungi

Rahul went to Athiya.

Rahul: That was epic. Kya answer Diya hai

Athiya: She needed to listen that. Jab dekho tab aap pe haq jamane ki koshish karti rehti hai.

Rahul (teasing): Someone's being possessive Haan...

Athiya: Ho Gaya aapka chidhana.. ab chale mujhe neend aa rahi hai

All went to their respective rooms. Athiya freshen up first and was once again standing near the window looking at nothing in particular. Rahul came out of the washroom after freshening up and found her lost in her thoughts. He went to her and took her in a back hug. This time she too rested herself against him.

Rahul: Kya soch rahi ho?

Athiya: Kuchh nahi..

Rahul: Tia.. kya hua baba?

Athiya: Kuchh nahi Rah. Bas kaise kaise log hote hai na duniya me.

Rahul held her tightly.

Rahul: We can't change them. We just need and should focus on us and on people who matter to us.

Athiya just hummed in response. Rahul got that her mood is still down.

Rahul: Chalo ab so jate hai. Tumhara mood waise bhi nahi hai uper se thaki Hui lag rahi ho

Athiya nodded in yes and they went to bed. Rahul took her in a hug while she kept on drawing some or the other patterns on his chest.

Rahul: Waise how did you know about my til on my Dil?

Athiya chuckled.

Athiya: Puri duniya ko pata hai Rah.. Apne social media pe shirtless pic Dali Hui hai kafi sari

She just gave the logical reason but he was stuck at the realisation that his wife has seen him shirtless which made him blush without being intended to. He hugged her hiding his face between her face and pillow making her chuckle at his antics. She caressed his hair.

Athiya: Awwww.. Aap sharmate hue kitne pyaare lagte ho..

Rahul: Don't tease me..

Athiya again chuckled but this time it was harder.. Rahul broke the hug and looked at her with his red cheeks and red ears. It made her laugh.

Rahul: Haan haan has lo jitna hasna hai. Aur waise bhi mere to sirf dil pe til hai.. kisi aur ke dil pe to "R" hai..

Athiya looked at him with shocked expression.

Rahul: Let's sleep now.. Good night princess

He kissed on her forehead.

Athiya: Aap na bade woh ho..

Rahul: Nahi nahi.. aur karo tease..

Athiya made a face..

Rahul (whispering): I know that "R" is in small letter

Athiya (blushing): Good night Rah..

Athiya blushed hard hiding her face in the hug. Rahul chuckled at her antics.

Rahul: Good night Mrs Rahul

He once again kissed on her forehead and soon both slept cuddling to each other.
