Chapter One

Y/N POV:

My name is Y/N L/N, I'm nineteen years old and the daughter of M/N and D/N L/N. They are both famous designers world wide and expect me to marry someone rich and famous, so that I could uphold the family business.

I was close friends with Adrien Agreste since birth, since our parents were close friends.

Felix...was a different story.

He was just so cold and rude to everyone, no one understood why, not even Adrien.

It just blew my mind how different the Agreste Twins were.

Adrien was symthathic and sweet, and the most sunshiny- positive thing in your life.

While, Felix, was cold and distant towards people. He was rude and didn't like talking with people.

(A/N: honestly, same. Unless I'm comfortable around the person. Otherwise, I like to limit my social interaction, thank you. But on the other side, I just want people to love me, ya know?)

It was crazy how twins could be born with the same genes, but still be so different. Crazy, huh?

I was about to leave my house to go hang out with Adrien, I wouldn't normally go over there when Felix was there, but Adrien said that he had gone out, so I was fine.

I grabbed my car keys heading for the door when my mom calls my name.

"Y/N, wait!"

I turn around.

"Wow, you actually want to talk with me for once, what happened at work that you actually pay attention to your own daughter for once?" I ask sassily.

My mother rolls her eyes. "Don't give me that crap, Y/N, I'm not in the mood for it today."

"When are you ever in the mood to talk to me?" I mutter under my breath but my mom still hears.

"Lose the sass, young lady." My mom says sternly.

I roll my eyes once more and she demands that I sit down on the couch.

"B-but, Mom. I have plans to hang out with Adrien." I protest, not feeling like having a discussion that would most likely lead to an argument with my mother.

"Do I look like I care? Sit. Now." My mother  demands.

I sigh and reluctantly sit down.

"So, at the end of the week, your father, you, and I have plans to have a joined dinner with the Agreste's, to disscuss a family matter that concerns both parties, you will find out the reason at the dinner. You will go and you will look presentable. Got it?"

"Ugh, do I have to? You know I hate fancy dinners." I whine like a child.

"Yes. You do have to show up. It's mandatory." My mother says.

I sigh again. "Fine, whatever. Can I go now?" I ask impatiently, knowing that Adrien was waiting on me.

"Fine. But I expect you at the dinner at the end of the week." Mother says.

"Fine. Sure. I'll be there. Not like I have much choice anyway." I mutter the last bit to myself and head out of my house.

I pull my keys out of my pocket and unlock my F/C car.

I get in and start it.

I drive to the Agreste Mansion and when the camera pulls down and asks who it is, I roll down my windows and say "It's Y/N L/N."

The gates  open.

I park my car and go up and ring the doorbell.

Adrien answers with a grin on his face and lets me inside.

Adrien starts to pull me upstairs but I stop dead in my tracks.

"Wait, I feel an evil presence lurking. Adrien, please tell me Felix is not here." I beg him and Adrien rubs his neck and smiles sheepishly.

"Well...." Adrien starts, but I cut him off.

"Adrien! You promised that he wouldn't be here!" I whine at him.

"I thought he wouldn't be, but I was wrong."

I spin on my heels heading for the door. "Well, if he's here, then I'm not."

Adrien pulls on my arm, stopping me. "Nooo! Please, Y/N. We haven't hung out in ages! I miss spending time with you, please don't leave." Adrien begs me.

And I can see the sadness in his gleaming green emerald like  eyes.

"Fine. But I really don't want to be here when he is. How about we go to a coffee shop or something?" I suggest and Adrien beams.

"Sure! Plus, I've been craving caffeine lately." Adrien laughs and I laugh too.

"Same. Plus, I need some good F/H/D."I agree.

"Well, come on then. Let's go!" Adrien says as he pulls my arm and rushes out the door.

We decide to walk because it wasn't far.

But not before getting a bag of pastries from The Dupain-Cheng Bakery.

Mari worked there part time to get money for her fabric until her fashion career launched.

And with her talent, I was sure that it would.

We go into the Bakery and Mari turns around and greets us with a smile.

"Hi, Y/N!" She smiles and then her blush intensified when she see's Adrien next to me.

"Hey, Marinette!" I greet back.

Mari made a bunch of un-human noises to Adrien and I giggle.

She continued to stutter until finally choking out the words,

"H-Hey, A-Adrien!" Mari stutters.

He smiles warmly at her. "Hey, Marinette."

Mari blushes again but rememberers that she works there and brushes out her apron before regaining her composure.

"So, what'll it be?" Mari asks.

"I'll have some Croissants." Adrien says.

"And I'll have F/Des" I Say.

Mari smiles before walking away and saying "Coming right up!"

She goes into the kitchen and comes back a little while later with our deserts.

Adrien and I argue for a little while until Adrien finally pays.

We thank Mari and walk out of the bakery scorfing down our deserts.

We walk for a little while longer until we get to the coffee shop.

I walk in and stop in my tracks.

Adrien looks confused as I hide behind his back.

"Y/N? What's wrong?" Adrien asks.

When I think they see me I hide further behind him.

"That's my ex boyfriend Ex/N and my enemy that he cheated on me with, E/N." I explain.

"Oh, do you want to leave?" Adrien asks and I shake my head "no".

"No. I want to be here with you, I just don't want either one of them to see me."

"Okay, let's get our drinks and then we'll leave" Adrien says wearing his signature smile and I grin back.

Adrien walks up to the counter and I stay close to him so that Ex/N and E/N don't see me.

"What will it be?" The cashier asks.

"I'll have a Carmel Latte and Y/N will have F/H/D" Adrien tells him and the cashier nods.

A few minutes later, he comes back with our drinks.

Adrien takes out his wallet but I stop him.

"Adrien, you payed for the food, let me get the drinks." I plead.

Adrien face shows protest but I pout my lip and he finally agrees.

"Fine." Adrien says.

I smile and pull out my wallet. I hand him the money and he puts it in the cash register.

He looks down at my wallet.

"Here, you are."

"Thank you." Adrien and I say in unison.

I start to drink my drink until I choke from shock hearing my name.

"Y/N?!"

Adrien and I turn around to see Ex/N standing in front of me.

I inch closer to Adrien.

"Hey! How's it been?" Ex/N asks.

I scoot even closer to Adrien.

"Fine." I say.

"Oh, come on, Y/N. Don't act like I'm some stranger, we dated for almost two years." Ex/N says.

"Yeah, but we broke up." I say pointing out the obvious.

"Yeah, but I want you back."

"Well, sorry. I don't." I say.

"I wasn't asking, sweetheart." He says getting closer to me.

I slide closer to Adrien. "Come on, Y/N, let's go." Adrien pulls me out of the cafe.

We leave the cafe and walk back to Adrien's.

We get into Adrien's room and sit down.

After a while of watching movies, Adrien gets up.

"Be right back, Y/N." Adrien says.

"Okay, Adrien." I respond.

Adrien leaves and I open my phone and scroll through Instagram.

I take a few pictures and post them.

I scroll through pics and like some of them.

I'm scrolling through my phone and I hear footsteps. I look up, expecting Adrien, but to my shock it's not him, it's Felix.

"Adrien?" Felix says. "You in here?"

"Nope. Just me." I reply.

Felix looks over to me and rolls his eyes.

"Don't look so excited to see me, Felix." I say sarcastically.

"Where's Adrien?" Felix asks, clearly annoyed with me.

"Idk. Bathroom, I guess." I answer.

"Ugh." Felix says.

"Felix!"

"What??!"

I give him a look.

"Fine. Thanks, Adrien's annoying friend" Felix says.

I groan before smirking. "You're welcome, Adrien's annoying brother."

Felix rolls his eyes before walking  out of the room, but just before he leaves I see the smile in his eyes.

Adrien comes back a few minutes after and I put my phone down.

Adrien sits down on the bed beside me.

"Hey, you're back"

"Heh, yeah."

"Did Felix find you?" I ask him.

"Yeah, he did."

"What did he want?"

"Just to remind me about another photo shoot, and telling me I should take my duty as a model more seriously. But he doesn't understand that I'm only doing this for my father." Adrien says and I know exactly how that feels.

"I know what you mean. I don't wanna be a model either, my parents forced me into the modeling business when I was four. Even though I made it very clear that I didn't want to. My parents never ask my opionion about anything." I sulk.

Adrien wraps his arm around me and squeezes my shoulder and then removes his arm.

"You wanna a movie?" Adrien's asks but I shake my head.

"No, I should probably get home before my parents have a hissy fit." I say and get up off his bed.

I'm about to leave when Adrien grabs my arm.

"Aww, Y/N. Can't you stay a little longer?" Adrien  asks with pleading eyes.

"No. I'm sorry. But I'll come back tommorow, if my parents let me." I say and Adrien cheers up a little, but not much.

Adrien walks me to the door. I grab my cup of F/H/D and my keys.

Adrien and I hug before we both say goodbye and I walk outside to my car.

I get in and start the engine.

I leave the Agreste Mansion and it starts raining so I turn on my windsheild wipers.

I pull into the driveway of my mansion and get out.

I walk into my house and take off my shoes hanging my keys on a hook.

"Y/N? There you are. Where have you been?" My mom asks.

"I told you where I was going." I say.

"Whatever. I'm just letting you know that you have three photo shoots tommorow." Mom says and I groan.

"Great." I mutter.

I start to go up the stairs when my mom calls me.

"Come  and eat your dinner."

"I'm not hungry." I say and continue up the long flight of stairs into my huge bedroom.

I plug my phone in and collapse on my bed replaying the day's memories in my head.

I think about when Felix talked to me in Adrien's room. The way his lips moved, the way his hair moved slightly when he moved his head. The way he rolled his eyes but I could see that he was smiling on the inside.

Wait, why am I thinking about him?? I hate him. Right?

Mom said I have three photo shoots tommorow. Great, just great.

More photo shoots I didn't want and once again they didn't ask me, nor did they care enough to ask me.

Perfect.
