When Major Cleopatra Perich returned from the Elite Marines, having been the leader of Amanda Waller's Rainbow of Death squad, her life was very different to the cold wealth she grew up in. People believed her to be just another Marine, keeping her identity as Amethyst the Purple Serpent a secret. She took up a position in her father's company controlling stock but still, adjusting to life was hard, even if she was happy to be home. Nightmares of her tortured, murdered boyfriend and slain team members haunted her, sometimes to the point of a suicide attempt.

A year on and something suspicious is happening at Perich Inc..

Files containing assets (building rights, copyrighted material, company projects) and bank accounts containing millions are being moved from the company and into an account in Relaysia. It benefits their rebel army, a foe Cleo faced during her time there.

Unable to pin the act on any Perich Inc. member in particular, Batman decides to put his most trusted son in a place where he has access to the secrets of the company. In order to rescue his business and its future as it declines, Alan Perich plans to create marital ties to other giants.

Cleopatra Perich and Richard Grayson are engaged.

Apprehensive at first, Cleo refuses to meet her fiancé. Once she does after her father and mother's advice, she notices Richard wearing a robin pin, something that was given to her by Nightwing during the war.

Nightwing had travelled from the future to tell Cleo to marry him so that she would have access to Wayne Enterprises. There she would be able to move the Perich Inc. files to his company, before they could be sent to the Relaysians.

Still concerned, Cleo and Dick get married in a ghastly purple ceremony.

Understanding that if she succeeds her siblings will not need to marry, Cleo threatens her father with exposure should he force his other children to do as she has done. She even allows her third brother Ethan to come out at and be proposed to at her wedding.

When Cleo moves to Gotham she and Dick grow closer bit by bit.

She spends her days protecting files from being taken by Relaysians, by putting them into Wayne Enterprises. At first she was a suspect of the Batfamily's, but after meeting with Amanda Waller they realise Cleo is trying to do the same as them.

The main goal; find Zelrich. 

Zelrich is the name used by the sender to move files and accounts to the Relaysian rebels.

Though Oracle and Red Robin, some of the greatest technological minds, have searched through Perich Inc. many times, they can not find Zelrich. 

Some very advanced minds are behind this crime. Though Cleo has moved her family's assets, trust funds, main project companies and employee records to a safe location, she still fears for her family's safety.

Especially since the latest file being sent involves American military secrets obtained through the company's work with special forces.

Will the two families ever pull together to protect their country?

I understand the update gaps on this story have been extensive but I need everyone to remember that I have OVER FORTY stories to write as well as a life. I make edits, constantly, that are the core of making my stories stand out and that also takes a long time.

A comment on the previous chapter I immediately perceived as rude was savaged in response. I apologise to that person for my abrupt reply and yes telling you to get the fuck off this story was unnecessary, but if you haven't learned from me saying it politely I don't know how else to get the point across. It was still over the top and I am sorry.

Authors, particularly us on Wattpad who write fanfiction, are not slaves.

And yet I'd slave away for you guys any day. I was up until 3am writing yesterday's chapter because I want the storyline made clear which is why I wrote this.
