*2 days later*

Rhea's POV:-

This is marriage is taking place in haste...and its gonna destroy my life as well break my heart once AGAIN...

Vivaan's family comes to our house...today i will be engaged to vivaan...everyone girl dreams for this day...but maybe my dream is more like nightmare

"Beta, bahut khoobsurat lag rahi ho!", speaks vivaan's mom..

I smile at her...i love her dearly and thats why i am ready to face any disaster...

"Thank you", i speak smiling at her..

She then gifts me jewellery and red chunni and a really beautiful red lenhenga for engagement ceremony..

I then touch all the elder's feet...they bless me, vivaan's elder brother avinash and his wife soumya bhabhi gift me a beautiful jewellery set...i thank them..

I head towards my room to get dressed for my engagement

In this hustle bustle i don't know if i am happy or sad...how must be vivaan...his feelings..
Why my life supposed to be messed up..
Does he still loves naina?
Will he ever accept me?

Vivaan's POV:-

I feel guilty about that night, maybe i was rude...very rude to rhea...naina was her friend also...
Rhea too feels guilty for naina's dead...

After my and naina's breakup i didn't feel anything for her again...
Instead my breakup got me close to rhea, to finally break me apart from everyone...

As i get ready for engagement, tears fall from my eyes...wish naina was alive, wish we never had a breakup...wish she was getting married to me...i wish i had not got close to rhea aftr my breakup....

Author's POV:-

Both vivaan and rhea, get ready and leave for their farm house...

Vivaan pulls rhea to corner before anyone notices

"Rhea...sorry for being do mean", speaks vivaan

"Its ok", rhea replies softly

"No, its not ok, its true we hate each other...but still i shouldn't have harmed you physically", vivaan speaks coldly

Don't know what happens to rhea, maybe some unseen feelings tigger inside her...she hugs vivaan tightly..

Vivaan also does not say anything, nor he pushes her...
May be some memories are best left untouched..

"Vivaan!..rhea!", shouts vivaan's mother when they break the hug and go towards the stage where engagement would take place...

They head towards stage, while vivaan feels guilty of hugging rhea..

Vivaan, had promised himself after naina's dead that he would never love any other girl...

"Vivaan beta, rhea ko ring pehnao", asks vivaan's mother

Vivaan, puts ring on rhea's finger while all rheir relatives shout, cheer and clap happily..

"Rhea, take this ring", rhea's mom speaks indicating rhea to put ring on vivaan's finger

Rhea puts ring on vivaan's finger
...while vivaan avoids eye contact with her..

People start to hug them , and congratulate them while they shower people with their fake smiles, while deep inside they are not confortable about anything happening to them..

People drag them to ground and the song sanam re starts to play..

Bheegi bheegi sadkon pe main
Tera intezar karoon
Dheere dheere dil ki zameen ko
Tere hi naam karoon

Khud ko main yun kho dun

Vivaan and rhea dance with each other, avoiding eye contact..suddenly vivaan pushes rhea and he walks out of the hall, leaving everyone stunned...

The music stops, while rhea realises that a hug cannot change things nor it can erase the difference between them...
