Randhir's pov

I was sleeping peacefully but it was quite late in the morning because of the sunlight coming from the balcony which disturbed my sleep making me groan irritatingly and turning I put my hand on Ahana's side to take her in my arms but found the side empty making me huff. I cannot even sleep properly on a Sunday too. I turned on my stomach and layed there without doing anything and after sometime the fragrance in the room was filled with my wife's scent which was a mix of black coffee, white flowers and vanilla making me take a big sniff in content. She came out of the walk-in closet after shower and went to the dressing table directly thinking I am still sleeping and making her semi wet luscious hair got ready with just a bindi on her forehead and a lip balm looking contagious in her saree with just mangalsutra and chooda. Her hairline remaining to be filled by me.

Standing up,she made her way to the bed while I closed my eyes pretending to sleep. She sat on the bed and bending close to me started roaming her hand in my hair which is the best feeling ever. I sighed lightly but stayed quite. She caressed my hair by her fingers and bought her hand to my ear outlining it with her fingertip which almost made me shiver. Next she caressed my cheeks and then lips and bending more down she kissed both my eyes and nose,she pecked my lips ever so lightly that I doupt her lips even touched mine. Her not so innocent gesture was making my condition worst down there and I wanted to grab her and kiss her senseless but I controlled myself with difficulty. Ahana has now almost lied down beside me cupping my face called me out in softest tone.

"Randhir"
But I didn't respond to her and she said again

"Baby"
God she is making it so difficult for me but I still didn't opened my eyes.

"Randhir please uthiye na I know you are awake"
She knows? But how? Then too I didn't woke up.

"Jaan"
She whispered close to my ear and that was the last string as after that I immediately opened my eyes pulling Ahana on top of me by her waist which made her gasp. Her face was flushed but she had a sexy smirk on and she asked

"So now you woke up?"
I ignored her question and holding her tightly said

"Phir se bolo"
She made an innocent face asking

"Kya bolu?"

"Jaise tumne mujhe bulaya"

"Kaise?"
I glared at her for playing right now and she giggled cutely blushing and whispered finally

"Jaan"
I smiled like a maniac and hugged her saying

"Ohh god I love you so much"
She blushed without saying anything while I kept looking at her. She blushed more if possible on my intense gaze and raised her eyebrows asking 'what'. I caressed her jaw with my knuckles and said

"Jab bhi tum mere itne kareeb hoti ho na toh samajh hi nhi pata hu,ki tumhe chumu yaa dekhta rahu bass"
She shyly hide her face in my chest making me smile and we stayed like that for sometime.

"Bass ab aap uth jaiye"
Ahana said moving away from me and I sighed saying

"Kya yaar Sunday ko bhi shaanti nhi hai meri zindagi mein"
She chuckled hearing me and said

"Stop your drama and get ready for breakfast. Bhul gye aaj maa ne sabko lunch pe bulaya hai?"
Yaa how can I forget that. Ek Sunday hi toh hota hai meri wife ke sath time spend karne ka aur aaj woh bhi nhi milega. Pouts. It's been two weeks to Adith and Swara's engagement and one of the good things happened is Vishal returned back to New York and I couldn't be more happy. Mom has made this lunch plan and invited everyone from Ahana's parents to our friends and their families so we could spend some good family time. I got up finally from the bed and filling my wife's hairline and kissing her forehead went into the shower and Ahana went down removing clothes for me. After shower, I got ready wearing my clothes and went down.

I went to the dining table where dad and choti were present and touching dad's feet I wished him good morning and pulled choti's hair to which she screamed more than needed.

"Daaddd"
She shouted whining and dad looked at me sternly

"Randhir don't trouble her"
Choti poked her tongue out teasing me now which I ignored irritating her more. I picked today's newspaper from beside me and was reading it when someone poked me. I looked at my side to see choti smiling at me cheekily and said

"Bhaiii"
Ohh that extra sweetness in her voice wasn't something I missed and looked at her suspiciously.

"What do you want?"
I questioned her directly and she pouted saying

"Meri college next week camp jaa rahi hai"
Now I got it what she wanted and I smirked

"And mom isn't allowing you to go?"
She nodded pouting more looking like a bunny but I wasn't going to melt for that.

"Sorry I can't do anything"
I said straight forward making dad chuckle as offcourse he was listening to our talks and this made my little sister more gloomy and she requested

"Bhai please na my all friends are going except me"

"Where is your camp going?"
I asked her and she replied instantly

"Manali"

"For how many days?"

"15 days"
She muttered slowly afraid of my approval. I smiled seeing her puppy eyes and patting her cheeks said

"Don't worry I'll talk with mom"
Hearing my words her face had bright smile which was the only thing I wanted. Her happiness. She hugged me squealing making me and dad laugh. Ahana and mom came from the kitchen with butlers carrying the breakfast and settled on the table.

"Kya baat hai you are looking too happy?" Mom asked choti sitting beside dad while Ahana sat on my other side. Choti looked at me. I blinked my eyes to her in assurance but before I could say something dad started

"Apne pyaare bhai ko buttering kar rahi thi so that you can allow her to go to the camp"
Mom looked at her glaring while choti was glaring at dad who immediately went quite.

"Dad aapko nhi bolna tha ye"
Choti whined but mom said

"Koi faida nahi usko buttering karke because I am still not allowing you to go"
This time choti was on the verge of crying and her lower lip quivered and standing up she ran to her room without listening to any of us.
I tried saying

"Mom jaane do na uske saare friends jaa rahe hai"
But mom was adamant about not sending and said

"Ek do din nhi pure 15 din ke liye jayegi. No I won't agree"
I was about to say something more to convince her but Ahana started saying

"Maa please jaane dijiye na choti ko abhi hi toh she has the time and age to do all this and make memories with her friends. Ek baar college khatam ho gya so zimmedarion ke bich mein woh ye sab pata nhi kab kar paigi aur fir shaadi and all. I am not saying ki shaadi ke baad she won't get to do all this but uska bachpana kahi kho jayega. I am sure you don't want her to ever feel that her family deprived her of these small happiness in life"
We all looked at her in amazement and feeling our stare she got nervous saying

"I...I am sorry...if I said something wrong"

"Nhi beta you didn't said anything wrong infact thank you for telling all this or else I don't think mein iss baat ko kabhi aise dekh paati"
Mom said patting her head lovingly and dad said

"Tu toh hai hi mera samajhdar puttar haina"
Ahana giggled nodding her head making us smile while I was looking at her without blinking. Feeling my gaze she turned to me asking with her eyes 'what'. I bended close to her as mom dad were talking among themselves and whispered

"I think you deserve a reward?"
She smiled raising her eyebrows and asked

"And that would be?"
I darted my tongue in my cheek and said

"How about a long passionate kiss"
She widened her eyes blushing and secretly glancing at our parents said

"Ye toh aapka reward hoga mera nhi"
I chuckled lightly and she too smiled looking down. I said

"Mera kaise? Don't you enjoy it too?"

"Randhir stop"
She immediately said and I hardly controlled by laugh. I straighten myself clearing my throat and said

"Ab mom aapne jo uss hippo ko naraz kar diya hai toh manana bhi padega"
Mom nodded getting up and said

"Haa chalo chalo bichari meri beti kitna roo rahi hogi"
We laughed and all went to her room. Entering in we saw her sitting on her bed grumpily with her big teddy. We hide our smiles seeing her ignoring us and mom said

"Choti come let's have our breakfast"
She turned her face the other side saying

"Mujhe nhi khana kuch bhi aaplog jaa sakte hai"
We gave each other a smile and mom again said

"Arre aise kaise nhi khana? Pancakes hai your favourite"

"Kaha na nhi khana aaplog jao"

"Sochlo Manali mein mere hath se pancakes nhi milenge. Maggie se kaam chalana padega"
Mom said indirectly but she replied

"Chala lungi Maggie se kaam mujhe....."
She stopped in middle widening her eyes and looked at us.

"Manali?"
She asked confirming and we all nodded together which made her jump and hug mom tightly.

"Than you thank you thank you so much mommy"
Mom chuckled kissing her forehead and said

"Thank Ahana,she made me say yes"
Choti giggled coming to Ahana and embraced her in a tight hug saying thanks to her too.

"No hug for dad and me?"
I asked pouting which made the ladies laugh and we shared a warm family hug. Later we had our breakfast happily and I came in the home office to complete some of my work, mom and Ahana sat together for the lunch preperation and dad and choti were playing chess. I completed my work just before everyone arrived and together we had our lunch.

"Bhabhi this malai kofta tastes so amazing"
Adith commented making Ahana smile and others agreed when Swara's mom said

"Not only this but every dish has a unique taste"

"Haa Swara ek kaam karna shaadi se pehle tum bhi bhabhi se cooking classes le lena"
Adith teased her making us laugh and she glared at him

Ahana's mom had a proud smile on her face and mom said

"Meri beti ke hath mein jaadoo hai"
Everybody nodded their head and we had our lunch with fun, teasing and smiles. After lunch the elders sat in the living room talking among themselves and younger clan decided to watch a movie so we all moved to our home theatre.

Swara, Adith,sid and Ruhi sat in front while me,Ahana,anshu and choti behind. Anshu and choti were on our other side to which anshu said

"Jiju don't worry haa, we won't disturb your moment together aur waise bhi lights off ho jayegi toh pata nhi chalega"
I smiled hearing her looking down and my wife said widening her eyes

"You are speaking too much anshu. Apna muhh band kar warna I very well know how to"
This just made her giggle with choti and we settled completely. The lights got dim and the movie started. We agreed on a nice action movie so what better than avengers endgame. The movie has just started when I said

"Waise anshu was not saying anything wrong I mean do you seriously think I will let you watch the movie"
Ahana didn't even turned to me but I could clearly see her face because of the light coming from the movie. She said

"I will watch the movie only because I won't let you do anything"
I frowned hearing her answer and asked

"Are you sure?"
She nodded without saying anything making me frown more so I maintained some distance between us and muttered an'okay'. She looked at my side but I concentrated on the movie or pretended to. She was looking at me time to time but I didn't even turned to her showing my fake anger. The movie was half over when Ahana huffed loudly and coming close to me hugged me making me keep my hand around her waist and I tried hiding my smile.

"What happened to you?"
I asked keeping a straight face but inside I was dancing. She looked at me keeping her chin on my chest and mumbled

"Can't I even hug my husband?"

"Well you can but weren't you saying sometime back to me that you won't let me come close to you?"
She lowered her eyes pouting making me want to take her lips in mine.

"I didn't mean it like that and I just spoke whatever came in my mind I am sorry"
I pulled close and said

"It's okay but don't shut me out like that I don't like it"
She smiled showing her teeth and after sometime whispered

"Kiss me please"
I was baffled for a second and asked unsure

"Yaha?"
She looked around as if making sure nobody is looking at us and said

"Haa yaha aur abhi"

"Were is my innocent Ahana huhh?"
I asked biting my lips and she blushed saying

"Do you want to kiss me or not?"
I smirked saying

"Can't miss this opportunity"
This made her smile and I partially covered her with my frame so that no one can see what we are doing even if they look at us.

The kiss was very slow yet passionate and we took the world's time to explore each other's mouth and savour the moment. We broke the kiss being breathless and I pecked her lips once and kissing her forehead took her in my arms continue to watch the movie. We completed the movie and it was almost evening so coming out of the theatre,we were moving to the back garden were everyone was there when I got a call from my secretary. I told them to go ahead and I will come attending the call. I picked up the phone and it was priya my secretary informing me that I had to leave for Singapore tomorrow for a meeting which was important to get a deal. I groaned internally and told her to make my flight arrangements. I came were everyone was and saw that there wasn't a seat left for me.I stood beside Ahana but she got up seeing me.

"Aap beth jaiye"
I frowned and said

"Why? I am fine like this you be seated"
But she took my hand making me sit down and herself sat on the arm of the couch we still made her sit close to me and discreetly I put my hand on her naked waist making her jump a little. She looked at me sternly but I didn't removed my hand. She wrapped her pallu in such a way that my hand was hidden under it which made me smile. All the moms were discussing something when they turned to us and my mom said

"So bacho after three days it's karwa chauth aur ye Ahana ka pehla karwa chauth hoga so we will make it more grand so now the question is who all are going to keep it apart from Ahana?"
Ruhi raised her hand with Ahana which made the others laugh and Swara asked her mom

"Mom can I too keep the fast?"
They smiled at her and Adith's mom replied

"Yes beta you can too"
Hearing this she happily raised her hand and they started discussing all the things while my mind was blank. After three days it's karwa chauth but I am suppose to go to Singapore. What should I do now?

"Mom?"
I called her making them stop talking and all attention turned to me. After a good min I said

"I have to go to Singapore tomorrow"
Mom gasped and others went all silent. Mom composed herself and asked

"When will you return?"
I looked at Ahana to see her controlling her tears but not saying anything. I looked back at mom and replied

"Almost a week"

"Randhir you can't be serious? Cancel this meeting right this moment no matter how much loss it gives. I don't care"
Even I don't care. Nothing is more important to me more than Ahana and her happiness and this is our first karwa chauth together how can I miss this. I said

"Mom I...."
I couldn't complete what I wanted to say because Ahana said in between

"It's okay mom, please let him go I don't want to come between him and his work. I'll break my fast my seeing his photo"
Have she gone mad? I know she doesn't want this so why is she saying all this rubbish talks. Dad said with concerned filled voice

"But beta...."
But this stubbornn wife of mine didn't even let him complete and making a excuse of snacks went away from their. All looked back at me throwing daggers and dad shouted

"Khote da puttar tujhe paise itne important lagne lage jo apni wife ko karwa chauth pe choad ke jaa raha hai?"
And all agreed saying the same thing making me clutch my hair irritatingly.

"Stop"
I shouted making them stop at once and taking a breath I said

"I am trying from so long but nobody is ready to listen to me. Now listen to me very carefully that I not going anywhere. I will be here with my Ahana and together will celebrate our first karwa chauth"
This made them all smile while informing them I came in for my stupid selfless wife and found her in the kitchen.

"Jaan"
She heard my voice and immediately flung in my arms hugging me tightly and I held her close. I heard her sobs indicating she is crying and I break the hug. I wiped her tears and said

"Baby why are you crying?"
She looked at me through her wet eyelashes and said

"Does it make me selfish if I ask you to stay here with me for our first karwa chauth? I can't imagine being away from you on any normal day and this is toh our first karwa chauth together?"
Though her words made me happy but her tears breaked my heart. I cupped her face wiping her eyes and pecking her forehead said

"No my bacha it won't make you selfish and it is your right to stop me. Please don't cry baby"

"Toh rukk jaiye na?"I smiled looking at her red nose looking all cute and her words

"I am not going anywhere my wife. We will celebrate our first karwa chauth together and it will be the best"
She smiled listening to me admist her tears and asked

"Sachi?"
I nodded smiling and she hugged me again this time happily and I embraced her securely. After a few minutes we broke the hug and she asked again

"But your deal?"
I held her waist and shrugging said

"We could postpone it or keep it hear in Mumbai but even if I loose this deal it doesn't matter to me. What matters to me is you and your smile"
She smiled beautifully making me smile too and together we went back to everybody happily.
