Kesumi's P.O.V

These pass days has been okay. It's been a week since the scandal happened, I still get nightmares of Mike but Everything else went back to normal. Austin and I just kept living together like strangers,but I like that he isn't giving me glares anymore, because I just need a place without toxicity and I needed space to clear my head. and I'm back to my job. I got a call last week from the company I signed on to for a highly anticipated, upcoming movie,so today I was going to the audition. I was so nervous. Acting has always been my dream but under some circumstances I didn't do it too much.

It's been three years since I last acted and I've only acted in one movie before. I joined the entertainment industry 7 years ago,when I was only 16. At that time I didn't know anything about the industry and was foolish enough to sign to "Shine entertainment",after they had signed me they didn't care about me at all. I wasn't given any job,a manager or an assistant,so I had to fend for myself. And if it wasn't for someone releasing the video when I was caught in a scandal,which proved my innocence they would've just left me. So I was very shocked when they called me to go for an audition.

I got ready,wore some light makeup to cover my eyebags and wore something that fitted the aesthetic of the character that I was auditioning for. It was a white dress with red roses and a white sneakers.

The movie was about a cheerful and lively girl finding that she has special abilities and meeting and falling in love with a boy that also has special abilities. It was called 'magic '.

So cliche Ikr?

I went downstairs and as always Austin was seated at the table eating breakfast, but as he heard my footsteps he looked up and a barely noticeable smile rested on his lips as he saw me. "Strange" I thought. But I thought nothing of it and shrugged it off.

I took my seat and the maids brought in my breakfast. I felt his eyes on me so I looked up,but didn't see him or anyone else looking at me. So I looked back down and once again started to eat.

My phone started to go off as I was ready to walk out. It was the talent scout, Mitchell that had signed me to "Shine entertainment" and hadn't contacted me since,I didn't even remembered that I hadn't deleted her number. "Hello?"

"Hi Kesumi,How are you doing?". She said...... cautiously?

"I'm doing fine. What do you want?Is it to ask about the audition?". I questioned coldly. She really has the nerve to call me after 7 years to know how I was doing.

"No I just want to tell you that we have assigned a manager and an assistant for you they will be meet you at the audition" she answered again cautiously and this time also nervously.

What changed their minds for them to start treating me like a normal artist?. But I didn't think too much,as long as they don't do anything bad to me that's fine so I said Okay and hang up the phone coldly.

I put my phone in my bag and turned around to head out,but walked into a wall of flesh. I looked up and saw that it was Austin,I hurriedly walked around him but he pulled me back,by catching my wrist. "Let me go" I said trying to take my hand from out of his hold,but he tighten his hold.

"I'm going on a business trip tomorrow and you're coming with me". He said in a tone that bore an insistence that was hard to resist and a cold face,but his eyes looked a little dazed.

"Why would I want to go anywhere with you? Didn't you always bluntly shown your dislike towards me?". I questioned coldly.

"I wasn't asking I was telling. Goodbye I'm going to work" He said and gave me a kiss on my forehead and walked out the house.

I looked as his disappearing silhouette in a daze.

I thought about it,I really didn't have anywhere to go tomorrow. Loren and David was gone for work at different countries and if I do win the role for the movie, shooting wouldn't start until next month. So I really didn't have anything to do tomorrow and Austin would be doing business the whole trip,so I wouldn't have to see him for half of the trip.

Austin's P.O.V

Aaron (Kesumi's father): Mr McCoy please don't be fooled by her.

Aaron has been texting me these past few days, with the same sentence and I was getting annoyed so I blocked him.

I really want to get closer to Kesumi,but I knew she needed space. I know that she still has nightmares as I heard her crying sometimes. So I wanted to cheer her up.

I wanted to give her a credit card to go shopping,but I thought it would hurt her feelings because I cannot really be sure that she really is a gold digger, so I asked her best friend what she likes or wants the most It took a little effort to get an answer from her but she gave up when she knew Kesumi needed something to cheer her up.

I was kinda shocked that what she wants the most was to become an A-list actress, but that was all I needed to hear,so I sent my most trusted secretary to call the entertainment company that Kesumi was signed to and made them gave her an highly anticipated upcoming movie to audition for.

I had to go overseas for business,but I didn't want to leave her alone. So I forced her to come and maybe I could get some extra time to spend with her.

Third persons P.O.V

Kesumi hailed a taxi and got to the audition,as she stepped out of the car and finished payed the driver. She received a message from her father. She looked at the contents of the message with a cold face.

Tomorrow is your sisters birthday, make sure you attend.
