"Kes it's time to wake up". My stepsister Lilly shouted.

Meanwhile my other stepsister Megan is trying to pull of my comforter.

I groaned and said tiredly."five more minutes".
Next thing I know is I'm drenched in cold water. I shot up and look around the room frantically to see my stepsisters cracking up on the floor.

"Get out". I shouted and playfully glared at them.
They got up and said "good morning kes".

I started running after them. They turned around and heading for the door and run down the stairs they bumped into one of the maids and fell face down to the ground. Meanwhile I stay their and laughed after them.

They got up and started to glare at me. "What's going on here". My stepmother asked in amusement coming from the kitchen.

My mother died from I was thirteen my father married Stacy. I was glad that my dad found love again,but I still miss my mom and I was glad that Stacy loved me as her own child and I love her and my stepsisters. My father has been married to Stacy for ten years and I am glad that I have a nice family. I am an actor and model because I wanted to follow in my mom's footsteps.

"Nothing mother". We said in unison,we looked at each other and then started to laugh.

My dad came in and looked at us in amusement and then started to laugh.

After three minutes of laughing we stopped and wiped our tears. "Good morning mom and dad". Me and my stepsisters greeted and kissed their cheeks. "Good morning" they greeted us back. I look at the time and say "shit I'm late".

"Go and clean up my father". Said meanwhile they all walk in the dinning room for breakfast.

I went to my room and take a shower and wore this.

And took one of my gucci handbag

I went downstairs to the dinning room and saw everyone at the table eating and having their own conversation. I sit across Megan, meanwhile the maids bring my breakfast to me. Which is chocolate pancakes. After I started to eat Stacy asked "So Kes how are your shoots holding up?".

"They're great I have a shoot in the next hour". I replied. "I want you to meet me in my office when you are finished". My father said and walk away before I can answer, meanwhile my sisters and Stacy started to glare at me.

"What's wrong?". I asked concerned. They just rolled theirs eyes at me and went back to eating.

I finished eating and started heading to my father's office. I started Wondering what happened and why they started acting cold towards me.

I reached the office and knocked on the door. I heard a faint "come in". I opened the door and walked in.

It was little compared to his work office. I took a seat infront of him. "Dad what's wrong". I asked

"Don't call me dad. You're the reason that your mother is dead". He shouted angrily.

His words cut me deep and he knew that, because he now has on a statisfied smirk.

If only I wasn't sick that day and the maids haven't had a day off and I wanted medicine. On her way back from the pharmacy she met in an accident and died on the spot.

"Yes sir". I said coldly.

"You are marrying the heir for the McCoy industries. I would make one of the twins do it but they said they want my real daughter". He said back coldly.

I looked at him with my eyes wide and mouth slightly ajar in shock. "I don't want to marry him". I said looking in his eyes with my face expressionless.

He got up and started stalking to me not eye contact,like I'm his prey.

Next thing I know I feel a stinging sensation on my left cheek and my head flew to the side. I brought my hand to my cheek and realisation dawned on me. He slapped me.

I looked up at him with wide eyes. "You bitch you will marry him. My company will not go bankrupt because of you and I wasn't asking". My father stated angrily.

The tears threatened to spill but I won't give him the satisfaction of making him see me cried. "Okay I will marry him". I said coldly.

"They are coming over tonight for dinner. Now get out". He shouted.

I walked out and went to my room. I past Megan, Lilly and Stacy on the the way and they glared at me and called me a whore and a slut. "Look who is talking".I retorted and that made them shut up.

They knew I know everyone of their secrets. I would never admit to anyone that they were whore when we were friends,but deep down I knew. But I would still never tell anyone their secrets I made a promise and I'm not one to break them.

I reached my room and cancelled my shoot took off my high heels  and called my bestfriend Loren meanwhile crying.

Loren and I have been friends since birth because our mothers were best friends. We were even born on the same day in the same hospital.

"Hey kes, how's my best friend doing". She said in her usual cheerful voice and I chuckled. She always made me smile in every situation.

She must of heard my sobs because she asked "Kes, what's wrong?". She asked concerned.

"Oh nothing much my family I thought loved me hated me to the bone. I'm going to get married to the heir of the McCoy industries. The Austin McCoy and my father is now blaming me for my mother's death". I answered sarcastically. By now I was fully crying.

There was silence on the other side for some seconds before she shouted "WHAT?!!!". Like she is ready to kill somebody. She is and angel on the out side but she is a monster on the inside.

She is a loyal and a true friend and I love her for that. She doesn't like my family that much,but she will greet them and she warned me much time but they are my family what was I supposed to do.

"Kes meet me at the cafe downtown and we will talk. Ok?". She says.

"Yes meet you soon". I said and we hung up. I put my high heels back on,wash my face and got into my car and drove off.
