Ahana's P.O.V

"Ahana? It is you right?" he asked sounding unsure. I nervously laughed and said, "Yea it's me," I could hear his sigh. "Um are you free?" he asked. "Yes I am," I tell him."Are you sure? I mean I'll call you later if you are busy with someone," he said. Ohh. Nidhi. "No no. Nidhi isn't here. So I'm free," I said. "Good. Cause I really wanted to talk to you," 

Time for cheeks for heat up. Darn it! He manages to make me blush even when he isn't in front of me. "Don't blush Ahana,"  My cheeks heated up even more if that was even possible. "I am not blushing," I stuttered. Way to sound confident Ahana!

"Sure sure," he said calmly. I knew he was smirking. That little, good looking buttwipe. "I wasn't!" I defended. "Mhmm. Lets get to the point though or we'll never finish this. And as much as I'd love talking to you forever, you need to sleep so yea," he said. I nodded even though he couldn't see me. "Okay," I told him.

"So I want you to be honest with me Ahana," he said. "Okay," I said. "Did you actually enjoy talking to me? Be honest. Its your future too," he said. "Yes. I had fun today and I am not lying," I told him.  "Do you want to give us a try?" he asked. I was too shy to answer and just paused. After a minute he said, "Is that a 'no'?" "No! I mean yes! I mean I want to give us a try," I said the last part softly. "Are you sure? You're not doing this because your parents want you to, right?" he asked. "Yes I am sure. I want to. And not because my parents want me to," I said. 

"Do you like me? At least as a friend for now?" he asked. "Yes. I do," I whispered. "What about you?" I asked him. "I like you Ahana. I really do and I want to give us a try and I really want it to work," he said. He sounded very sincere. It nearly made me cry. Nearly. 

"So I'll tell my parents that we're going to give us try?" "Yes," I said. "Are you free on Saturday?" he asked me. "Yes I am. Why?" I asked him. "Aisha wants you to tag along with her on Saturday for shopping. She wants to get to know you. So she asked me to ask you if you were willing to tag along with her," he said. A part of me was disappointed that he wasn't asking me out on a date. 

"Ahana? You there?" he asked. "Yea I'm there. I am free and I don't mind tagging along with her," I said. "That's great! So uhm I was thinking after shopping maybe you and I could grab something to eat if that's okay with you?" he asked hopefully.

I held my hand against the phone and squealed. "Ahana!? Are you okay?! Why did you scream?! Ahana?!" he asked sounding panicked. "I'm fine. I didn't scream. It was someone outside," I lied. 

"So..? Do you ..want to have lunch with me?" he asked. Oh right, I hadn't replied to that. "Yea I don't mind," I tell trying to sound casual about it.  "Okay then, I'll see you on Saturday?" "Yea okay," I said. "Wait!" I exclaimed. "Yea Ahana?" "Uhm what about Aisha? Its not nice to just ditch her and go have lunch," I said. Even though I really wanted to have lunch only with him, I couldn't just ditch Aisha like that. 

"Oh that! Don't worry. Aisha is going to have lunch with her friends. She'll be meeting them when you guys are done shopping," he said. Oh. Okay cool. "Oh, okay," I said. "I'll text you what time I'll be picking you up and stuff," he said. 

"So I'll see you then?" I said. "Yea. Good Night Ahana and don't forget to dream about me," he said cockily. I shook my head and laughed. "Bye Rehaan," I said and cut the call. 

I lied on my bed with a huge smile on my face. My cheeks were still hot. I could feel it. Rehaan Malhotra will be the death of me, I swear! 

"You can come out Nidhi. I know you were eavesdropping," I told her. She will never change. And I'm glad she won't. "Wow your face looks like a tomato!" she commented as soon as she came in. I groaned and went to wash my face. "So I'm guessing it went well?" she asked. 

"Yup. Very well,"
