As soon as Sara stepped in the room she was pinned to the wall and Shubman closed the door with his leg.

"Huh, Shub. I got scared."

"Sorry no sorry but I know you loved it."

"Yes now leave me."

"Ahha not so easily baby."

"Why?"

"See I helped you wear the saree so I should be rewarded alsooo the kisses, remember."

She kept quite gazing in his eyes which held a different kind of passion today and she was loving it.

Shubman let out a groan as his phone rang making them flinch in the silent room. While Sara laughed as he muttered curses at the caller.

"Wrong timing meri pyaari di."

"Shubman aise mat bolo."

"Here you talk I will get fresh."

Sara nodded and took the phone while Shubman still scoffing went to the washroom.

"Hello Di."

"Hii Sara sorry to disturb you so late bubs but I needed help."

"You can never disturb us, aap bolo kya kaam tha."

"Is Shubman there?"

"No he is in the washroom."

"Ohh then it's fine. I..I..."

"Di you knows you can share anything with me right?"

"Ya I know, it's like I don't know I am kind of emotional but I don't want to flow in them. You understand right?"

"Yes, I understand. Aur?"

"I missed my periods last month and this month too. I thought it was working stress but I did a test sort of thing and it's positive."

"That's such a great news di, why are you even confused."

"I know right, I am happy but I don't know how Rahul will react, we never talked about this and I really don't know whether I am ready or not."

Suddenly Sara's life flashed infront of her, her wedding with Shubman, their love, and at last her pregnancy. Her eyes watered but she knew this wasn't the right moment.

"Di.."

"Are you okay bubs, you sound low suddenly."

"No no I am okay,it's just baby is a blessing di. And it happens only when God knows it's time for us. But still it's your body, work and life which will be affected, you should discuss it with bhaiyya and then you should take a decision, I am sure he will always support you."

"Thank you Sara, I really needed this. I couldn't call mumma since you know how emotional she is."

"You can call me anytime di, and do tell me your decision."

"Ofcourse and Sara please don't tell this to Shubman. Woh gadhe ka baccha Rahul ke saamne bak dega."

"No Di I won't."

Sara laughed and bid her bye and right at that moment Shubman came out.

"Itni jaldi rakh diya? Mujhse baat bhi nahi kiya?"

"Tum washroom mai 15-15 minute rahoge toh kya krengi woh?"

"Yeah yeah whatever anyways I am VIP, not anyone can call me anytime and speak."

"Ha ye unke saamne bol ke dikha do,chatni bani toh mere pass mat aana."

"Areyyy."

"Areey it's the truth areyy."

"Ok bas, what did she say though?"

"Umm nothing, usual talks hi hello!"

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Oh ok."

"Why are you messing up the bag Shubman?"

"Aree I can't find my red tshirt dude."

"And what if I say it's right there."

Sara shook her head and went to him and pulled out the red tshirt in a minute making him stick his tongue out.

He took the tshirt from her and wore it and then kissed her cheek.

"Tumhare bina mera kya hoga jaana?"

"Kuch nahi."

"Why does your mood seem low suddenly? Di ne kuch bola?"

"No Shub, I am alright. It's just the exam is nearing."

"Even though I know it's not the reason but I won't pester you since I know you will come around. But for now to cheer your mood we will watch a movie."

She smiled at him gratefully and hugged him. While Shubman gently rubbed her back.

"Which movie?"

"Your choice this time."

"Let's watch spiderman."

"Ughh Shub, we have watched it like 10 times."

"Them you tell me."

"Let's watch The Notebook."

"I don't like romantic movies."

"Please for me love."

"How can I resist your puppy eyes baby, lets watch The Notebook."

Sara gleed cheerfully and kissed his cheek while running away to set up her laptop. Shubman smiled and cleared the bed for them to sit.

Soon Sara plugged in the movie and sat in between his legs resting her head on his chest while Shubman wrapped his arms around her stomach caressing it slowly.

After a few minutes she could feel his strong gaze on her and she smiled.

"Stop looking at me like that."

"Like what?"

"Like I am your whole world."

"You answered the question yourself."

"Flattery won't get you anywhere."

"It's not, you truly are my world. And I am just wondering how are you soo beautiful, so flawless."

"Umm."

"I love you baby."

"Love you too Shub, now concentrate."

He laughed and kissed on top of her head.

"Ofcourse love."

"Sara..baby wake up."

"Ummm what is it?"

"Get up love for a few minutes."

Sara's sleepy eyes pulled open and she could see Shubman leaning on her body, his face close to her ear. Her hands immediately hugged him.

"Happy first anniversary love."

"Is it 12?"

"Yes baby it is."

"Happy anniversary to you too Shub."

"I am sorry I couldn't give you a grand celebration."

"Shhh it doesn't matter unless you are present with me."

"Get up let's cut the cake."

"You got a cake too?"

"Yes a small one, cause you love it."

Sara smiled and got up while Shubman pecked her lips.

"Happy 1 year to us and here's to many more years yet to come. I love you baby."

"Love you too Shub."

He gave her the knife and held her hand while Sara cut the cake with a smile. He fed her a bite and she did the same. After a small celebration he took the cake and kept it in the small fridge present in the room.

"Shub."

"Hmm?"

"You know you didn't have to stay up till 12, we could have celebrated later. You have a match to play today."

"No match is important more than you baby and don't think much."

"Come let's sleep."

She said knowing he won't take a word. As soon as Shubman joined her in the bed he pulled her hand and made her fall upon him while joining their lips for an agressive yet passionate kiss.

Once he broke the kiss she giggled and kissed his whole face making him laugh.

"Bas bas. Pyaar overflow ho gaya."

"Yes let's save some for some other time."

"Not some other time let's save it for tonight."

She pushed his face to the other corner and quickly slipped under the blanket making him laugh.

Sara sighed tiredly as the doorbell rang and she hated disturbance while she was studying. For the past two months Shubman was so busy he could barely spare her a glance and she was agitated by it but she knew she had to understand.

She was surprised to find her in laws and Shahneel at the door.

"Surpriseee."

The chorus echoed and Sara giggled, she was truly treated like a kid by his family.

"Maa papa, dii what a surprise. Andar aaiye na."

As his mother stepped in she hugged Sara, her warmth getting the best out of her as some tears flew out of her eyes.

"Kaisi hai meri beti?"

"Thik hu aap kaisi hai? I missed you so much."

She whispered the last part, being emotionally connected to Shubman and later not having him for two months was taking a toll on her. Cherry on the top, the exam date nearing scared her.

She side hugged her father in law and then gave a big hug to Shahneel. Finally Shahneel had decided to keep the baby, since Sara's words actually hit the right cord in her.

"Diii I missed you and how's the little munchkin doing?"

She giggled as she placed her hand over Shahneel's four month old belly.

"The munchkin is good and I missed you too bubs."

She helped them take the luggage in and sat with them on the couch when suddenly it struck her that she hadn't asked them for water.

Quickly getting up she filled three glasses and handed them.

"Achanak kaise, aapne bataya bhi nahi? I would have sent a car at the airport."

"Surprise dena tha bacche batake kaise aate?"

"We know Sara, Shubman has been busy and you are alone. And anyways I was going to mummy papa for some months toh humne socha why not join you and live together for some months. Hume ek saath time milta hi nahi hai."

"I am soo glad aap aaye, I was missing everyone."

Sara smiled getting brighter ones in return.

"Aap log aaram kariye, I will call you for dinner."

She said and got up taking the glasses.

"Sara no need to prepare it yourself okay?"

"Nahi maa didi aayengi thodi der mai woh bana dengi."

Her heart smiled at her mother in law's care and she couldn't be more grateful, quickly sending a prayer to almighty she left for the kitchen.

Once she came back she she helped Shahneel get up and carefully took her to her room.

"Come sit with me Sara if you are not busy."

"I can never be busy for you guys di."

She said and sat beside her, her hand unconsciously moving to her belly.

"How's everything going?"

"It's good, the exam is right after a month, I am excited as well as nervous."

"You would do great bubs, don't worry and how about my gadha brother?"

Her smile faltered at his mention, she didn't mean to share their personal things with anyone, be it his own sister but the feelings hidden inside our heart always reflect on our face.

"It's fine di, he is busy. I don't mind, I get spare time to study."

She joked, but inside her stomach churned, she had last talked to him a week back and that too for a few minutes. Shahneel didn't say anything further and started a random conversation.

"Di you should lay down, itni der baithna is not good."

"Right doctor madam, I wish you were a gynaecologist. Mujhe kahi aur nahi jana padta."

She laughed softly and helped her as she laid down.

"It's okay, the doctor you are seeing right now is my close friend, she will allow me in the OT."

She winked and Shahneel laughed.

"Okay now you should go and study."

"Ofcourse."

She smiled and made her way out, mid way their maid greeted her.

"Good evening didi,maa papa aur di aaye hai. Toh aaj khana special banana but zyada tikha aur acidity wala nahi di ko takleef hogi."

The maid agreed and went to do her work while Sara plopped on the couch taking her mobile expecting a call or message from his side, bit found none only adding to her disappointment more.

Keeping her thoughts aside she decided to call him and he did pick up but at the last ring.

"Hey baby."

"Busy Shub?"

"Very Sara, the photoshoot just doesn't stop. Practice after this, tomorrow's match is crucial."

"When are you returning back?"

"You know it already Sara, last match tomorrow then I will be home."

"Maa papa and di are here."

"Great will meet them once I come back, don't be sad love. I swear I will give you time once I come back. I love you."

"Love you too."

She sniffed a little and Shubman smiled.

"Don't cry baby, I am sorry."

"No it's not your fault, it's just ahh leave it."

"Tell me I am here."

"I need you Shub, it's been two months since we spent some good time together. You have made me habituated to you. I need your constant affirmation, I cannot handle this stress of the exam."

"Sara, baby you are my strong girl. I am sure you can do it, please don't worry baby. I will be back very soon, just hold on a little more."

"Hmm."

"Now come on smile wide."

"Hmm."

"I know you didn't, smile properly."

"Hmmm."

"Good, now give me kiss."

"Noo it's your punishment, you won't get one until you come back."

"Unfair, but it's okay. I love you, remember that and I will be back soon. Bye, love."

"Bye love."

She cut the call and smiled, her heart finally at peace at least they talked.
