"Ready baby?"

She pouted and his heart melted, she always does this to me but unfortunately this time it was not in his hands.

"Sara please don't make it more hard for me baby, I don't want to go but I have to go."

"I know but it's just I will miss you. Ab who will massage my head once I come back from the hospital."

"Aise bol rahi ho jaise humesha ke liye ja raha hu bas ek month and then I will be back."

"Kuch bhi mat bola kro tum and chalo ab.'

He chuckled as she angrily dragged his hand towards the living room. Shubman was going for the Bangladesh tour, the Duleep trophy's first match was over and immediately he was called for the test series.

It was a long one, the test and then T20s. Sara had joined her hospital back in a week now. Even though she would go early and come late he would wait for her.

The three months they had spent together were a bliss, they got to know everything about each other and Sara was glad she got a break from her hectic schedule.

"Accha suno."

She didn't reply and he pulled her towards him holding her waist.

"I am sorry, aage se nahi bolunga aisa kuch aur Aniket ke saath hi jana. Agar bahar bhi jana ho take him. Waise toh I have told him par fir bhi."

"Hmm, I will."

"Good now come give me a kiss."

She looked at him wide eyed and he smiled.

"Shut up Shub woh kya sochenge?"

She said pointing towards the driver and Aniket who were sitting on the front seats and Shubman pressed a button, closing the space seeking privacy.

"Ab kuch nahi bolenge."

He smiled cheekily and she could not stop herself from kissing him.

"Call me once you are back and no simple call, I want a video call."

"Haa baba krungi."

She said resting her face on his chest and he sighed, oh how much he was gonna miss her silly pouts and teasings whenever she made him blush.

"Sara."

"Hmm."

"Airport aa gaya."

"Itni jaldi?"

"It's one in the night baby, traffic nahi thi zyada."

He chuckled and she kissed his cheek hugging him tight while he pressed his lips on the side of her head.

"Take care of yourself when I am not here."

"I will."

"I love you."

"I love you too."

"Bye then."

"Byee."

He slid out of the car and gave her a last hug before parting himself with his luggage and asking Aniket to follow him.

"Listen kitna bhi mana kre always stay near her, chahe hospital ho ya ghar. Waise to I will call you if I would order something for her but if I didn't immediately call me. Ghar ke bahar hi khade rehna aur agar kuch bola toh seedha bolna mam please call sir. Okay?"

"Yes sir."

"Aniket please take care of her."

"I will sir."

Shubman nodded and turned away before waving a final bye at Sara who smiled at him. Aniket smiled before composing himself, Shubman was never so protective for anyone. He had been with him since Shubman was 22 and watching him grow into such an amazing man always warned his heart.

Once Aniket sat in the car Sara tapped his shoulder and he looked back before asking the driver to start the car.

"What did he say to you?"

"He asked me to take care of you mam."

"Bas itna hi bola, nahi nahi aur kuch bhi bola hoga na?"

"He said don't leave her alone and take care of her."

"Hayee mera pati."

She dramatically did the action of nazar and Aniket stopped himself from laughing out loud.

"Aniket, don't you have family?"

"I have mam."

"Who are they?"

"My parents."

"Aur wife?"

"No mam."

"Kyu you are young and handsome, girlfriend?"

"No mam I have no girl in my life and it's just I don't want to have anyone right now."

"Ohh since when are you with Shub?"

"Since he was 22 mam."

"Ohhh okay."

"Anything else mam?"

"No no."

He nodded and focused ahead while Sara bit back her smile, he was cute. She would definitely find a girlfriend for him.

Once they reached home she quickly opened the door and fell on the couch, she was so tired. The day's duty at the hospital and then being with Shubman till 2 was almost making her dizzy.

Her phone pinged and she took it only to smile.

"Have the lemonade, it's in the fridge and go to sleep now. I will message you in the morning, I love you. Stay safe."

She smiled before turning her phone off and making her way to the kitchen. She found a note on the fridge, a sticky note.

"I know you are tired, bola bhi tha mat aana chodne par sunta kaun hai? Have this and sleep, no phone scrolling."

She blushed hitting her head with the note, he knew her too well. She had already started missing him now.

She quickly had the drink and as an obedient student went to sleep. The next morning she got ready and made her way to the hospital, Shubman would reach there in a hour so there was still time for his message.

She started doing her rounds and once done sat in her cabin, sighing. Just then her phone rang and it was Shubman.

"Hellloo."

"Woh someone seems excited."

"I missed you."

"I missed you too my love."

"When did you reach?"

"I just landed on the hotel bed."

"So had breakfast?"

"Naa I will sleep now, you did?"

"Yes while coming."

"Good."

"Accha I will go now, the patients are waiting and I will call you at night."

"Okay."

"Don't be sad, raat mai zyada der baat krenge, for now sleep, I love you."

"Love you too, bye."

She disconnected the call and started her duty while Shubman looked at his wallpaper, there she was. Looking so angelic in that pink saree which perfectly hugged her curves. Her hair flowing naturally and her smile made his heart dance.

"Ohh Sara what have you done to me baby."

He whispered before laying on the bed, his eyes looking at her picture and slowly he went to sleep.

It was almost 9 in the night when Sara came back and sat on the couch, the day was tiring again. She fetched her phone and called him who picked it in one go as if waiting for her to call.

"Hii."

"Hello."

"Tired baby?"

"Very. Where are you?"

"I am in the room just had dinner."

"Hmm."

"Switch to video call."

"Hmm."

She lazily pressed the button and he gave her a soft smile.

"Now who will give water to you?"

"I have to aur kaun, ab tum toh nahi ho."

She said pouting sadly and he smiled. She made her way to the kitchen holding her phone and drank the water and then turned towards their room.

"So are you gonna change?"

He asked raising his one eyebrow and she blushed. She very well knew where this was going.

"Yes, in a sexy nighty."

"Ohhh teasing me baby?"

"Yes Mr Gill any problem?"

"No no continue."

He whispered as she kept the phone on the table supporting it with the mirror and slowly pulled her kurti up making his breath hitch.

"Should I continue?"

She asked once the kurti was till her stomach and he nodded, already getting hard and she smirked, the effect she had over him was making her ego satisfied, yes female too have ego, which they like to get satisfied with their husbands.

She pulled the kurti up and tossed it over her head. She was looking a goddess. Her hair were displaced falling on her shoulders and her lean figure was for his eyes to devour.

She stood there in a bra and he smiled.

"You are trying to kill me or what?"

"Maybe or maybe not."

She poked her inner cheek with her tongue and her hands travelled to the waist band of her trousers. She slowly pulled them down and they pooled at her legs.

"Fuck, I so wish I was there, I would have ruined you baby."

"You wish husband."

She turned around and he smiled, she was trying to tease him by showing her sexy figure. Was she successful? Ofcourse yes.

She went to their closet and got his tshirt before coming back to the phone.

"I will wear this tonight, it will make me feel you."

"Good I was going to say the same thing."

She tossed the tshirt over her head but he frowned.

"Why didn't you remove your bra? You never sleep wearing it."

"I will remove it."

She said and then removed it pushing her hand through the shirt.

"Sara show ek din mai nahi dikha sakte na baby."

He groaned but nonetheless smiled at her harmless yet harmful for his member, teasing.

"Ho gaya aaj ke liye itna hi. Ab rakho I am tired."

"Dinner khake hi sona. I have ordered it for you."

Just then the doorbell rang and she groaned.

"Couldn't you tell this to me earlier? Ab aise kaise jau mai bahar?"

He made an ohhh face and she looked at him irritated as the doorbell rang again.

"Wait for two minutes."

She did as she said and then his call came back.

"Now go and take the parcel, its on the floor. No one is there?"

"Aniket?"

"I have sent him away, go."

She smiled and took the parcel. Even though she had asked him to cut the call he didn't and kept talking to her until she had her dinner before asking her to sleep and once she was properly asleep he cut the call.

15 days passed like this, Shubman was doing so good in the series but he missed her presence around him. He was feeling vulnerable, he wanted to hold her and love her but alas.

Just coming back after a tiring day at the hospital she called him.

"Switch to the video call fast."

She chuckled at his excitement but did as he said.

"What you have already changed today,not fair."

"Everything is fair in love and war."

"Ohhh Sara, I miss you."

"Shubman."

"Hmm."

"I am tired."

"I know my love, should I order something refreshing for you?"

"No I had my dinner, it's just I miss you and your warmth."

"I know baby, I miss you too."

Her eyes watered as she clearly looked at his face, he was tired too.

"Shub."

"Hmm?"

"Rakhu?"

"Please stay for 2 minutes more."

They kept looking at each other's faces without saying anything and both had no idea when they slept. The distance was too much for them, it was also difficult to speak for a long time.

They only had time at night and in that too both of them would be so tired that they would talk only for sometime. Next morning Sara saw Shubman sleeping, his phone still intact with the headrest.

She kissed the screen and cut the call not waking him up, he had a long time for it.

Soon the days passed and finally Shubman was coming back today, she was excited, happy, euphoric and what not as she jumped around the hospital awaiting his arrival.

Quickly wrapping up her work she sat in the car and the driver drove it towards their house.

She knew he must be home already. All her tiredness flew away when she looked at the bags in the living room but her smile faltered as she saw Shubman sitting on the couch and there was a girl on another couch.

I am sooo sorry guys🫤🫤, I came back from the exam and fell asleep. I slept straight for 12 hours, like a log cause I had worked day and night to study for that exam and I was sleepy.
