Finally it was the day when Murthys and Malhotras were all set to leave for their vacation.

Both the families were very excited as this was the first time they were going together.

In Malhotra mansion after having lunch they all loaded their luggage they took their cars and left to murthy mansion.

Raj nyonika and ram priya took one car and viren and Rithwik took their cars and left with their wives.

And fab 5 abhi navya and nandini decided to take a 8 seater car. Manik and nandini were made to sit at the end and was joined by navya. It was like nandini was sitting in the middle on either side manik and navya.

They both were sitting silently while all others were speaking non stop. With a little teasing and gossiping they started their journey.

Cab: waise manik I heard you fired inaya what happened?

Manik remembered how inaya misbehaved with nandini and got upset. Nandini seeing frowns on manik's face understood he is remembering how inaya misbehaved so she kept her hand on his which was on his leg.

Manik looked at her and she blinked her eyes telling him to calm down and he smiled at her and looked ahead.

Man: she wasn't good for our company so I fired her.

He replied seriously and cabir sensing seriousness in his answer didn't question again.

Nandini was about to remove her hand from manik's hand but manik hold her hand tightly. She looked at him and saw him busy talking to abhi but his grip on her hand was firm. She smiled and covered their hand with her scarf so that no one looked at it. After that the ride was going on with full of talks and laughters.

Nav: waise guyz tumhe pata nahi hai par school time mein nandini was a big fan of manik's songs.

Everyone were surprised with this new information while nandini was confused.

Nan: what are you saying navya maine toh kabhi fab 5 ya manik ke song sune hi nahi.

Nav: aree remember nandini when one day you came to me and said you heard a song in the music room but was unable to see the singer.

Nandini thought for sometime and then nodded.

Nav: toh that was manik's voice mujhe tumhe batane ka mauka hi nahi mila.

Nandini was surprised and manik tightened his grip on nandini's hand.

Cab: waah matlab tum dono ki kismat mein tha ek dusre ko pasand karna.

They both looked at each other.

Muk: toh manik issi baat pe you had to sing cmon.

Man: nahi yaar abhi kaise.

Dh: ga de na buddy.

Al: ha for nandini

Abhi: nandini tum hi bolo shayad tumhari baat maan jaye.

Nandini looked at him and manik looked at her and sang looking at her.

Hum jo chalne lagen
Chalne lage hain ye raaste
Haaa ha ha
Manzil se behtar
Lagne lage hain ye raaste

Nandini smiled looking at him in adoration. Manik looked outside from the window and continued.

Aaao kho jaayen hum
Ho jayen hum yun laa pata
Aaao meelon chale
Jaana kahan na ho pata

Hum jo chalne lagen
Chalne lage hain ye raaste
Aa ha ha
Manzil se behtar
Lagne lage hain ye raaste

They stopped for a break at a dhabha and they all sat there manik sat beside nandini and continued looking at nandini while she blushed.

Baithe baithe aise kaise
Koi rasta naya sa mile
Tu bhi chale main bhi chaloon
Honge kam ye tabhi faasle

Everyone smiled looking at them. While cabir saw navya and sang but when she looked at him he turned his eyes.

Aao tera mera na ho kisi se waasta
Aao meelon chalen
Jaana kahan na ho pata

Manik continued ahead.

Haa ha ha

While there was a group of folk singer who joined them.

Abhi came behind mukti and kept his palm on her eyes and sang.

Aankhen khole neenden bolen
Jaane kaisi jagi bekhudi
Yahan wahan dekho kahan leke
Jaane lagi bekhudi

Dhruv came towards aliya and held her hand and sang.

Aao mil jaayega hoga jahan pe raasta
Aao meelon chalen
Jaana kahan na ho pata

While manik finished the song by singing the last part.

Lagne lage hain ye raaste

They all sat in the car and left from the dhabha after having some refreshments.

Nandini falls asleep by keeping her head on the back of seat but due to a jerk her head kept on manik's shoulder and manik who closed his eyes opened it and saw nadini sleeping peacefully on his shoulder.

He smiled looking at her and wrapped his hand around her shoulder and as if feeling comfortable nandini also moved closer and snuggled by keeping her head on his chest.

This was the first time manik saw nandini so close and he was admiring her and sudden frowns came on nandini face due to some hair falling. He moved his hand on her face and removed her hair and she smiled in sleep.

After sometime manik also felt tired and fall asleep by keeping his head on nandini's.

They both were at peace without any tension without any worry. They were coming closer day by day without knowing they were finding peace in each other.

They were about to reach the farmhouse and abhi and cabir woke everyone up but manik and nandini were in their own dreamland.

They stopped the car infront of Malhotra farmhouse and looked at manik and nandini who were sleeping in each other's arms.

Everyone smiled at them and cabir was about to wake them up but navya held his hand and as usual our cabir Dhawan froze.

Navya took her phone snd clicked their picture and after taking their picture she left cabir's hand who was lost on navya.

Cabir came back to his senses and went towards manik and nandini and gently patted manik's arm waking him up. He first looked at nandini and smiled at her and then looked at everyone and his ears become pink.

Man: guys woh

Everyone smiled seeing him looking embarrassed.

Abhi: it's ok manik you wake her up hum andar jate hai.

He nodded and everyone went inside.

Manik looked at nandini and admires her sleeping form for a minute and then called her.

Man: nandini

Nan (sleepily): hmm

Man: nandini get up see we reached.

Nandini opened her eyes gently and looked at manik and smiled gently then realized her position and sat straight.

Nan: sorry I don't know kab aankh lag gayi

Manik smiled looking at her.

Man: it's ok chlo andar chalte hai sab andar chale gaye.

She nodded and they came out from the car.

Nandini looked at the the farmhouse and was mesmerized with its beauty. Manik came from behind.

Man: chlo andar nahi chalna ya bahar se hi dekna hai hai.

Nandini nodded and they both went inside. It was already night when they reached so manik showed everyone their rooms. Elders were already left for their room to sleep. Atlast manik showed nandini her room and she was about to go when manik held her hand.

She turned and looked at him.

Man: sleepy?

Nandini nodded in sideways.

Man: wanna meet in the garden after freshening up.

Nandini nodded and went inside to freshen up while manik also left to his room which was beside nandini's.

After sometime manik came in the garden and saw nandini standini there with a shawl looking at the sky and a small smile playing on her lips.

He stood beside her and though she sensed his presence but didn't turned towards him.

Nan: you know manik I always like staring at the sky full of stars and you know bachpan mein na jab bhi mujhe koi confusion ya doubt hota tha na toh main humesha inn taaro se baat karti thi.

Manik was listening to her with a smile looking at the sky.

Man: aur jawab dete the woh?

Nandini turned towards him with a wide smile and nodded in yes.

Nan: I always use to ask these stars ki main thik kar rahi hu and if its yes then there will be gust of wind that passed and I understood the answer is yes.

Man: toh aaj kya doubt hai?

Nan: pata nahi doubt nahi ek dar sa lag raha hai?

Man: kaisa dar?

Nan: naye rishte se dar purane rishto ko peeche chodne ka darr. Darr lag raha hai kahi mera parivaar mujhe bhul toh nahi jaega na?

Man: aur kya jawab dia tumhare taaro ne?

Nandini looked at him and nodded in no.

Man: main jawab du iska

Nandini nodded.

Man: tumhe lagta hai tumhari family tumhe bhul sakti hai?

Nandini nodded sideways

Man: aur yeh kisne kaha tumhe ki tum purane rishte chodh ke aane wali ho tum naye rishte jodogi purne todogi nahi samjhi.

Nandini nooded and kept her head on his shoulder.

Man: nandini I think I am falling for you.

Nandini blushed and kept her head on his chest while manik wrapped his arms around her.
