Next day
Y/n's POV
At the office

Last night when Taehyung came back home, he told me not to worry about anything, he trusts me and he promised that he would help me.

And I believe in him that he would help me.

I wanted to take a leave from office today because I can't bear to listen to all the taunts I am going to receive.

But Taehyung told me to come because he has arranged a meeting and he wants me to be present there.

It was the time for the meeting and I entered the meeting room.

Appa, dad, Jennie,Jisoo, Tzuyu and few other officials were there.

I greeted them and went to take my seat.

I was feeling highly uncomfortable, I know it was not my mistake but I still felt ashamed of myself for previous day's competition.

Just then Taehyung came inside the meeting room with two judges who were there to judge the fashion show.

I was confused as to why this meeting is held and why these people are here, they don't belong to our company.

Tae - " Good morning everyone."

He said standing near the projector screen.

Tae - " I am sorry for the last minute meeting notice."

He took a pause and continued.

Tae - " But this meeting is important because we are going to announce the HOD of our fashion department."

Y/n's mind - " Huh?"

Worker - " But that's already done sir, at the last night fashion show.....Miss Jennie is the HOD."
He said pointing towards jennie

Tae - " I would really appreciate if you would let me complete Mr.Choi."

He said sarcastically.

Tae - " There are some other things we need to see before officially announcing the HOD."

I looked around the people in the meeting room.

Everyone had a confused face except Tzuyu , she looked..... nervous?

Tae switched on the projector and said.

Tae - " Please have a look."

The screen flashed and I could see my office desk on the screen.
It was the CCTV recording.
And it was through night vision,
which meant it was during night time.

Just then we saw someone coming in the screen, it was a female she walked towards my desk and opened the drawer underneath where I had kept my dresses.

She took the dresses out of the drawer.

I gasped.

Then she checked the dresses, put them back in the bag, picked the bag turned around to leave with the dresses.

As she turned around we saw her face

And she was

Tzuyu.

Every one including me looked at
Tzuyu, who was looking down and beads of sweat were evident on her forehead.

The recording finished and the screen went white.

Tae - " Before you all say something I have something more to show."

He took out his phone attached it to the speaker and played some recording.

It was Tzuyu's voice where she confessed that she stole my dresses by coming to the office at night.
And she also confessed that Jennie was the one who told her
to do so.

Just as the recording finished everyone looked at Jennie and Tzuyu for answers.

Jennie - " What nonsense is this, I never told her to do anything....
She is framing me."

She death glared Tzuyu
but then looked at Taehyung and said

Jennie - " Or is it you Mr.Kim who is framing me to bring back the lost reputation of your wife."

She said with a smirk.

Tae - " If we are framing you, then why were Mrs.Y/n's dresses with you on the fashion show."
He replied coldly

Jennie - " Those were my designs.

And we can't clearly see the dresses Tzuyu stole in the recording, then how can you say that the designs I showed in fashion show were of Mrs.Y/n ?"

She said firmly defending herself

Tae didn't said anything but played something else on the screen.

Tae - " It is the recording of my office
Cabin , as you can see the date and time, it is one day before the show, and five hours before Miss Tzuyu stole the dresses."

He then played the recording

There was Jk, Jimin and Taehyung sitting on the couch and then I enter with my dresses, opening the bag and showing them the dresses

Since it's not night vision we can clearly see the dresses.

Everyone gasped except me and Taehyung .

Judge 1- " They are the same designs."
Judge 2 - " even the colours are the same."

Mr.Kim - " Miss Jennie, please explain."

Jennie looked down and said

Jennie - " I -I don't know, how - "

Tae - " Miss Jennie, do you want me to show the recording of your cabin where you are-"

Jennie - " YEAH!! I did it..... I am sorry...... I am really sorry."

She bowed and dashed out of the meeting room.

Tae - " Miss Tzuyu, please tell Miss Jennie, you and her are fired."

Tzuyu - " B-but sir you- "

Tae - " You can leave."

She also left the room.

And I was completely overwhelmed.
My vision was blurred by tears.

I never thought I would be able to justify myself,
Forget justify, I never thought I would be able to tell anyone that those were my designs,my first work.

But Taehyung really kept his promise
Just in one day, he smartly handled everything and proved that those were my designs.

He didn't let anyone come to know, that there is something fishy.

Before stealing,
Jennie might not have thought that I had already shown these designs to taehyung.

I am glad that the hardwork I did didn't got wasted.

Everyone looked at me symphathetically.

Tae - " Since,you were the people who made the decision, who would be the HOD....
I would like you to please again make the decision."

He said politely to the judges.

Judge - " There is nothing to decide Mr.Kim , since the designs, we chose to be the best, belongs to Mrs.Y/n,
then I would say she is the one who won the show and deserves to be the HOD."

Judge2 - " I agree."

Time skip

Everyone congratulated me and I saw the proud smiles I was dying to see on dad's and appa's face.

I was extremely happy.

Everyone left the meeting room except tae and I .

I ran towards Taehyung and hug him tightly.

He hugged me back and giggled.

Y/n - " Thank you, thank you ,thank you sooo much tae."

He again giggled and kissed the top of my head

Tae - " You dont need to thank me....but yeah I need something in return."

I frowned and broke the hug looking at him.

Y/n - " What?"

Tae - " Treat me to dinner, a fancy one."

I smiled widely and hugged him again.

Y/n - " Done."

Just then we heard some sound and door opened revealing appa and dad

We broke the hug

Dad - " I -I left my phone here."

Mr.Kim - " And I -I -I....... came to accompany him....yeah."

Dad took his phone.

Dad - " You guys continue, we are leaving."
He said a little mischievously

We weren't doing anything embarrassing but still that comment made me blush.

Tae - " Do you think they were eavesdropping us?"

I just shrugged my shoulders.

Mr. Kim - " I am happy that they are getting along."

Dad - " Me too."
