It was daytime, the roads were floating with the vehicles and one of them was Aditya's car. Aditya was driving the car at high speed. Aditya dialed Anjana's number. Anjana was driving the car and Avni and Ambika were sitting in the back seat. Avni was screaming because of the pain and Ambika was trying to calm her. Ambika wiped Avni's sweat from the forehead and neck.

Avni: Aah... Adi... Mama... Aah.

Avni suppressed her lips. Anjana's phone rang and she took her phone. Anjana saw Aditya's name.

Anjana: Maa, Adi.

Anjana passed the phone to Ambika because she was driving the car. Ambika took the phone and received the call.

Aditya: Hello, Mom.

Ambika: Adi, it's me, Grandma.

Aditya: Grandma. Grandma, Avni...

Avni screamed: Adi...

Aditya got an alert.

Aditya: Avni.

Ambika: We are taking her to the hospital. You reach there.

Aditya: We are on the way.

Avni: Adi...

Avni cried.

Aditya: Avni... Grandma, is the phone on speaker?

Ambika: No.

Doctor: It is labor pain. You start the preparation. I am going to talk to her family.

The nurse nodded and went and the doctor also went. One nurse was with Avni. The doctor talked with Anjana and Ambika and they nodded. Anjana went to fill out the form and Ambika came to Avni. Avni saw Ambika who came to her.

Avni: Grandma, Adi.

Ambika caressed her hair.

Ambika: he is on the way.

Avni squeezed her eyes.

Avni: I will not go to the labor room until Adi comes.

Ambika felt helpless.

Soon, Anjana and the nurses came. Alka and Aarti also reached there.

Alka got worried and Aarti consoled her. Avni was screaming. Arjun was with Ambika.

Inside the room, Avni was screaming. The doctor and staff were handling her. Soon, Avni heard the crying of the baby and she fell back. A tear fell from her eyes. The baby cried and Avni saw her baby in the doctor’s hand with blurry eyes. Avni smiled and tears fell from her eyes.

Outside the labor room, Aditya looked at the room and he was surprised. Everyone smiled and looked at each other and hugged each other. Anjana was standing with Aditya and she kept her hand on Aditya’s shoulder. Aditya’s eyes got moist. Aditya looked at Anjana and then he looked at the door. Aditya held Anjana’s arm.

Aditya: Mom. Mom… Mom, did you hear?
Aditya looked at Anjana who nodded. Aditya gulped and looked at the door. Anjana cupped Aditya’s face who looked at her.

Anjana: Congratulations, you became a father.

Aditya smiled with moist eyes. Anjana hugged him. Aditya cried while smiling.

Inside the room, the doctor brought the baby to Avni and kept it on her chest. Avni smiled and outside the room, everyone met Aditya and congratulated him.

Soon, the doctor came out of the room and everyone looked at her. Aditya turned to her.

Aditya: Doctor, my wife and baby.

The doctor smiled.

Doctor: Mother and baby, both are fine. Congratulations it's a boy.

Aditya and others were happy.

Aditya: Thank you. Avni is fine, right?

Doctor: Yes, she is absolutely fine. Don't worry. The nurse is bringing the baby but Avni has fainted because of labour pain.

Aditya got worried.

Doctor: Don't worry, she is fine.

Aditya sighed.

The doctor talked and then she went from there. Soon, the nurse came with the baby and Aditya looked there. Everyone got alert. The nurse gave the baby to Aditya. Aditya got emotional. Aditya smiled and tears fell from his eyes. Everyone gathered near him.

Aditya: My baby. My boy.

Aditya kissed the baby's forehead who moved his head. Everyone smiled to see him. Anjana took the baby from Aditya and then everyone picked up the baby one by one. Aditya was smiling. Aarti took the baby and kissed his forehead. Aman was looking at her. Aarti talked to Aman who smiled and caressed Baby's forehead and touched his cheek. Aman took the baby and kissed his cheek and then he gave the baby to Aditya who smiled to see the baby.

Soon, Avni was taken out of the room. Aditya and the others looked at her. Adity gave the baby to Anjana and leaned to Avni. Aditya caressed Avni's hair and kissed her forehead. Aman smiled to see Aditya’s care.

Aditya: Thank you so much, love, for giving me this precious gift.

Everyone smiled. The staff took Avni from there.

Avni was laying on the bed of the hospital in an unconscious state. Avni stirred and opened her narrowed eyes. Avni closed her eyes and then she again tried to open her eyes. Avni looked around and found herself in the room. She kept her hand on her belly and frowned. Avni felt her belly flat. Avni looked at her belly and was shocked. Avni thought and she remembered about her delivery and then she got relieved. Avni looked at her belly and felt strange because she kept her baby in her belly for nine months. Avni smiled.
Avni turned her face but she was shocked to see an empty cradle.

Avni: My, my baby?

Avni looked here and there but no use. Avni looked at the cradle.

Avni: Ad… Adi… Adi.

The door opened and the nurse entered.

The door opened and Avni looked there. Avni saw Arjun and Aman on both sides of the door. Aditya entered carrying a baby. Avni was relieved. Avni’s eyes got moist and her lips craved a smile. Aditya saw Avni and smiled. Aditya came forward. Aman smiled and closed the door.

Aditya came to Avni and made the baby lay on Avni's arm. Avni smiled and a tear fell from her eye. Aditya leaned to Avni and caressed Avni’s hair and kissed her forehead. Avni looked at Aditya.

Aditya: How are you?

Avni: I am fine.

Aditya smiled. They looked at each other for a few seconds.

Aditya: Avni, our baby. Our son. It's a boy.

Avni smiled with moist eyes.

Aditya: Thank you so much, love, for giving me this precious gift.

Avni smiled.

Aditya: You have no idea what you have given to me. Thank you.

Avni smiled.

Avni: Thank you. Thank you because of you, today we have the sign of our love.

Aditya and Avni smiled and they looked at the baby.

The door knocked and Avni and Aditya looked at the door. The door opened and Arjun peeked.

Arjun: Can we come inside?

Avni and Aditya smiled.

Aditya: come.

Avni: Make me sit.

Aditya: Are you sure?

Avni nodded.

Avni: I am fine.

Aditya nodded and everyone entered. Aditya picked up the baby and gave it to Anjana. Aditya made Avni lay in Fowler’s position by adjusting the bed. Ambika came to Avni and kissed her forehead.

Ambika: Thank you, my child.

Avni smiled.

Ambika: And congratulations.

Everyone congratulates Avni by kissing her forehead. The baby cried. Avni and Aditya looked at the baby. Avni and Aditya got an alert.

Aditya sighed. Aditya looked at Anjana.

Avni started to open the button of her dress. Avni caressed the head of her baby while feeding him. Avni smiled.
