It was the daytime, the sun was shining over the building and it entered Avni and Aditya’s room from the window where Avni and Aditya were sitting on the bed and Aditya’s phone was in his hand. They were talking on the phone with the family.

Aditya: Avni will not come there.

Avni and others looked at Aditya. The family was shocked.

Anjana: Why? Now everything is fine then why?

Aditya: Mom, I don’t want Avni to come there.

Avni looked down.

Aditya: That home, the place from where Avni was humiliated and kicked out, I don't want Avni to even set a step in that home.

Avni looked at Aditya.

Gaurav: We understand. You do what you feel is right… We just want your happiness.

Avni and Aditya smiled but they were sad also.

Aditya: ab, ok, we will talk later, it is time for Avni’s juice. Everything has to be given to her on time. Medicines, fruits, juice, everything has to be reminded to this madam.

Avni made a sad pout and others smiled.

Gaurav: OK.

Aditya smiled and said bye. Avni also smiled and said bye. Aditya cut the call and Avni glared at Aditya. Aditya was smiling and when he looked at Avni, his smile faded. Aditya was shocked.

Aditya: What happened?

Avni: I don’t take care of myself?

Aditya: When I said that? I said that everything has to be given to her on time.

Avni: Both things are the same.

Aditya: So what did I say wrong? You are so careless about your health. You didn’t forget to have medicine on time?

Avni was speechless. Aditya raised his eyebrows.

Avni: ab, ab…

Avni thought. She got an idea.

Avni: So why do I take care of myself? Why you are here?

This time, Aditya was speechless. Aditya looked at Avni who raised her eyebrows.

Aditya: ab, I am here for you but still you should have to be careful. I came now but you were handling everything alone before my coming. How you were handling everything alone then?

Avni was shocked and emotional. Tears formed in Avni’s eyes. Aditya was shocked.

Avni: It was not easy for me to handle everything alone. I missed you so much. I felt your need very much. I wanted you beside me.

Aditya felt bad.

Aditya: Whenever I went to the doctor, I felt a great need for you. Everyone's husband was with them and my sister-in-law came with me, I was used  to miss you a lot.

Aditya felt a pinch in his heart. Avni’s eyes were teary and Aditya was getting emotional.

Avni: Whenever I go for the sonography, I really want you with me. I still remember when I went for the sonography for the first time, I was very nervous, I was also very scared, at that time I wanted you beside me. I wanted your support. I knew that only you could make me feel good but you were not there with me. I felt so lonely.

Aditya felt bad and guilty.

Avni: The days were very difficult. Only I and my God know how I passed these six months. I didn’t want to think about you. I wanted to forget you. I was used to say to myself that I don’t miss you, I don’t need you in my life but deep in my heart, I knew that I still love you.

Aditya felt bad.

Avni was crying.

Avni shook her head. They were crying.

Aditya: Don’t worry, Avni, now, I am with you. I will take care of you. I will always be with you. I will never leave your side. I will give you and our child the happiness of this whole world.

Aditya broke the hug while holding Avni’s arm. Their eyes were still teary. Aditya cupped Avni’s face and kissed her forehead.

Aditya: I am sorry.

Avni shook her head and hugged Aditya who kissed her hair and caressed her hair. Aditya sighed and his eyes were still teary.

Later, Avni was lying on the bed in Fowler’s position and Aditya entered the room while carrying the tray of juice.

Aditya: Here is your juice, your highness.

Avni smiled and Aditya came to Avni and sat on the bed.

Avni: Your juice?

Aditya: You need it. You have it.

Aditya tried to make Avni drink juice. Avni took the glass from Aditya.

Avni took the glass to Aditya’s lips: but I want to have juice with my loving hubby.

Aditya: Avni…

Avni: Sharing is caring.

Avni fed Aditya who had two to three sips and then he took the glass.

Aditya: Now, it is your turn.

Avni smiled and Aditya made Avni drink juice. They smiled to see each other.

At the time of the evening, Aditya took Avni for a walk. They were walking holding hands of each other and then Aditya saw a bench there and they sat there. Avni huffed and Aditya took out a hanky and wiped Avni’s sweat. Avni smiled.

The sun rises and people started their day but some lazy birds were still sleeping, Avni was one of them. Avni was sleeping peacefully and Aditya was lying with the support of his elbow and was adoring his beautiful wife. Aditya looked at Avni’s womb and touched it.

Aditya: Good morning, Baby. Papa loves you.

Aditya smiled.

Aditya: Papa is talking in a low voice because Mama is sleeping. Her sleep will get disturbed so…

Aditya kept his finger on his lips.

Aditya: ssshhhhh…

Aditya smiled and looked at Avni. Avni stirred and Aditya smiled. Avni opened her eyes and was surprised to see Aditya. Avni smiled.

Avni: Good morning.

Aditya smiled and leaned toward Avni. Aditya kissed Avni’s forehead. Avni smiled with closed eyes and then she looked at Aditya.

Aditya: Good morning.

Avni and Aditya were looking at each other and they got lost in each other’s eyes. Aditya looked at Avni’s lips and gulped because he was attracted to them. Avni followed his gaze and then they looked at each other. Avni parted her lips unknowingly and Aditya saw that. Aditya got lost in the moment and he moved to Avni’s lips. Avni closed her eyes and Aditya was about to claim her lips but the door knocked and they looked there and then they looked at each other. Aditya was shocked to think about what he was going to do. Avni felt shy and Aditya moved away and got up. Avni looked at Aditya. Aditya set his shirt and wore the slippers and then he went to open the door. Avni was looking at him. Aditya opened the door and Aarti was there. Aditya smiled.

Aarti: Good morning.

Aditya opened the door and wished her back.

Aditya: come.

Aarti smiled.

Aarti: I came to ask that you both will have breakfast with us or in the room.

Aditya looked at Avni.

Avni: We will come for breakfast.

Aarti and Aditya smiled and Aarti said, ok and then she went from there. Aditya looked at Avni and smiled. Aditya went to the cupboard and took out the clothes for Avni and then he came to Avni and helped her to get up. Avni went to get fresh and Aditya took her inside the bathroom and then he came back and closed the door. Aditya stood at some distance. Aditya remembered their moment.

Aditya in mind: Today I lost my control. I became weak. I was about to kiss Avni. It shouldn’t have happened. I must control myself.

Aditya sighed.

Later, Aditya took Avni to the park and there they walked and then they sat on the bench and Avni wiped her upper lips. Avni intervened her arm into Aditya’s arm and kept her head on Aditya’s arm. Aditya smiled and kissed Avni’s forehead. Avni smiled and looked at Aditya. Avni saw the ice cream van and she sat properly.

Avni: Adi.

Aditya looked at Avni and smiled to hear Adi. He felt joy.

Avni: I want ice cream.

Aditya: OK which flavour?

Avni: Chocolate peanut butter.

Aditya got puzzled.

Aditya: ab… I don’t think, he will have that flavor.

Avni made a sad pout. Aditya felt bad.

Avni: Then butterscotch or chocolate chip ice cream?

Aditya: I don’t think so…

Avni got sad and Aditya felt bad.

Aditya: Let me check.

Aditya went and Avni waited for him. Aditya came back and shook his head. Avni got sad.

Aditya: Come, let’s go to the ice cream parlor.

Avni’s face lit up. Aditya moved to Avni and helped Avni get up and then he took Avni from there. Avni and Aditya went to the ice cream parlor. Avni was waiting for her ice cream cupping her face. Aditya came carrying the tray of two cups of ice cream. Avni’s face lit up and Aditya kept the ice cream on the table and sat. Avni slid the tray and started eating from both cups. Aditya was shocked.

Aditya: One was mine.

The spoon was in Avni’s mouth and Avni looked at Aditya. Avni looked at the ice creams and then she looked at Aditya.

Avni: You want one?

Aditya nodded and Avni fed him. Aditya smiled.

Avni: Now it is enough for you.

Aditya was shocked.

Avni: If you want more then go and buy one for yourself.

Aditya was shocked.

Aditya: Avni!

Avni ignored Avni and resumed her eating. Aditya was surprised and then he smiled. Aditya cupped his cheek and adored Avni. Ice cream was applied to Avni’s nose and Aditya was surprised. Aditya chuckled and Avni looked at him.

Avni: What happened?

Aditya took out his phone and clicked Avni’s picture and then he showed that to Avni. Avni was surprised and wiped her nose. Aditya took out the hanky and wiped Avni’s nose and lips. Avni smiled. Avni passed a spoon to Aditya and fed him ice cream. They smiled and then Aditya took the spoon and fed Avni. They shared the ice cream.

Some days passed and Aditya took care of Avni. Aditya daily took Avni outside and fed her with his hands and gave her medicine on time and took proper care of her. Aditya was doing everything that an ideal husband does. He was taking care of little things but still, one thing was disturbing Avni and that thing was Aditya is away from his family because of her. She knew how much Aditya loves his family and it is difficult for him to live and stay away from them though he never complained but Avni understood that he is missing his family.

One day, Avni was sitting on the bed and was lost in her thoughts. Aditya entered the room and he looked up. Aditya frowned to see Avni and then he came to Avni. Avni looked at him.

Aditya: What happened?

Aditya sat on the bed and Avni looked down. Avni looked at Aditya who was looking at her.

Avni: Aditya, till when we will live here?

Aditya frowned.

Aditya: means?

Avni: means, soon. Bhai’s work will be completed and then they will go from here then where will we live?

Aditya was surprised.

Aditya: We will be here till your delivery.

Avni: And then?

Aditya: Then we will think, what we should do.

Avni was looking at Aditya.

Avni: We will not go to our home?

Aditya was shocked. Avni was looking at Aditya.

Avni: Adi, I want to go home.
