It was the time of night, the moon was shining in the sky and it peeked into Avni's room from the window. Aditya opened Avni’s room door. Aditya was shocked to see Avni who was in immense pain. Aditya came to Avni and sat beside her.

Aditya asked while caressing Avni’s hair: what happened, Avni?

Avni was crying: Adi, Adi, my baby.

Aditya got shocked and kept his second hand on Avni’s belly.

Aditya: What happened to the baby?

Avni cried.

Avni: it’s… it’s paining.

Aditya got shocked.

Aditya: what... wait, I call Bhabhi…

Aditya got up but Avni held his hand.

Avni: please don’t go.

Aditya bent and cupped Avni’s face with one hand.

Aditya: I have to go to call them.

Avni shook her head and said no while crying.

Aditya felt helpless. He saw Avni’s phone and took it. Aditya called Aman.
Aman woke up after hearing the ring and took his phone. Aman was shocked to see Avni’s number. Aman instantly picked up the call.

Aman: Hello.

Aditya: Hello, Aman Bhai. Aman Bhai, please come to Avni’s room. Her condition is not good.

Aman got shocked.

Aman: what? I am coming.

Aman cut the call and called Aarti.
Aditya sat near Avni and caressed her hair. Avni held his hand in her hand and Aditya saw that. Aditya knew that Avni is in pain and worried for her baby that’s why she let him come near her. Aditya caressed Avni’s hair with a second hand and kissed her forehead.

Aditya: Relax, nothing will happen to the baby.

Aditya again kissed Avni's forehead. Aman and Aarti came and saw that.

Aditya: everything will be fine.

Aman knocked on the door and Aditya looked at the door. Aman saw Avni and Aditya moved back.

Aman asked while coming to them: What happened?

Aditya: her abdomen is paining.

Aman got shocked.

Aarti went to the other side of the bed and sat there. Aarti handled Avni's hand.

Avni: my baby, Bhabhi.

Aarti; nothing will happen. Relax.

Aarti: maybe, it is her delivery time.

Aditya: but it is the seventh month.

Aman: It is possible. Let me talk to the doctor, what she is saying.

Aman went and Aditya looked at Avni.

Aditya: relax, Avni, nothing will happen to our baby.

Avni looked at Aditya and her eyes were tearful.

Soon, Aman came back.

Aman: I have talked to the doctor, she is coming.

Aditya nodded.

Aditya and others were standing outside the room of Avni and the doctor was inside. Aditya was looking worried. Aman looked at him and thought. The door opened and Aditya turned. The doctor came out.

Aditya: Doctor, My wife.

Aman looked at Aditya because he asked for Avni, not for the baby.

Doctor: she and the baby, both are fine.

Aditya sighed. Aman and Aarti were relieved.

Doctor: I gave her an injection. She will sleep now.

Aditya nodded.

Doctor: she is fine now but if her condition will be like this she can’t be fine. Her BP is high.

Aditya and others got shocked.

Doctor: I am not understanding what has happened to her suddenly.

Aditya got shocked.

Doctor: she was all fine and healthy then suddenly what happened? Is there any problem in her life?

Aditya looked down and Aman and Aarti were looking at him.

Aman: no, everything is fine.

Doctor: anyways, take care of her and bring her to the click tomorrow.

They nodded and the doctor went. Aman went with her and Aarti went inside the room but Aditya was standing there.

Aman and Aarti saw Avni sleeping. On the other side, Aditya was sitting on the bed joining his hand at his mouth. Aditya was thinking.

Aditya in mind: I am the reason for Avni’s this condition. Since the day, I have come here, her condition is like this. She is taking stress.

Aditya ran his hand through his hair.

Aditya in mind: what do I do? Should I go from here?

Aditya thought. Aman came and stood at the door. Aman thought and came to Aditya and sat beside her. Aditya looked at him and tears formed in his eyes and Aman side-hugged him. Aditya bowed his head.

Aman: don’t worry, Avni is fine now. It happens.

Aditya looked at Aman who also looked at him. Aditya hugged Aman and cried. Aman patted his back. Aarti was looking at them. Her eyes were moist and she smiled. She wiped her tear.

It was the time of the morning, the sun rises and people and birds started their day. The sun entered Avni’s room from the windows and Avni stirred. Avni opened her narrowed eyes and closed them. Avni rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand and opened her eyes. Avni carefully tried to sit by keeping her hand on her womb and pulled herself back. Avni sat with the support of the headboard of the bed while suppressing her lips. Avni sighed. Avni closed her eyes and remembered about last night’s pain. Avni opened her eyes and her hand was on her womb. Avni caressed it.

Avni: are you ok, Baby? Hmm?

The baby moved and Avni smiled.

Avni: you made Mama worried last night. Does anyone do this, hmm?

Avni smiled and remembered Aditya was also worried.

Avni: Papa also got worried for us. He came running to protect us. If he had not come then don’t know what would have happened.

Avni thought.

Later, Avni came for breakfast and Aman saw her. He got up from the chair and came to Avni. Avni smiled.

Avni: Good morning.

Aman gave support to Avni.

Aman: Good morning. Why you came? I was asking Aarti to give you breakfast in your room.

Avni smiled.

Avni: I am fine.

Aman took her to the dining table and made Avni sit on the chair after pulling it. Avni sighed and wiped her upper lips. Aman served her breakfast.

Avni: I will do it.

Aman: I know but I am doing it.

Avni smiled.

Aman: hmm, now have your breakfast.

Avni smiled and said, thank you.

Aman: you're welcome.

They smiled and Aman sat on his chair and Aarti came there. Avni looked around to find Aditya. Aman and Aarti saw her and understood. They looked at each other. Aman thought to ask Aarti for Avni’s satisfaction and she also doesn’t feel awkward.

Aman: where is Mr Rathore?

Avni looked at Aman and then she looked at Aarti.

Aarti: don’t know, he went outside in the early morning. He said that he has some work and he will have breakfast outside.

Avni lowered her gaze and was thinking. Avni understood why Aditya said that. Aman and Aarti looked at Avni. Avni started her breakfast though she doesn’t want to eat but she was eating for her baby.

Later, Avni was laying on the bed in Fowler’s position and she was looking worried.

Avni: don’t know, if Aditya has come back or not. Don’t know, if he has eaten anything or not.

Avni thought.

Avni: do I go to check? But what will I say to him, why I have come?

Avni thought.

On the other side, Aditya was standing near the bed and packing his clothes. Avni peeked into the room from the door and she got shocked to see Aditya packing his bag.

Avni in mind: is he really going?

Avni got shocked and worried. Aditya turned his face and he saw Avni. Aditya stood properly.

Aditya: Avni!

Avni looked at Aditya and got shocked. Avni felt awkward.

Aditya: why are you standing there? Come.

Avni gulped and came into the room slowly. Avni was feeling odd because she got caught.

Aditya: sit.

Avni shook her head while looking down. Aditya nodded lowering his gaze.

Aditya: how are you now?

Avni: fine.

Aditya: good.

Avni didn’t say anything and she also didn’t look up.

Aditya: do you want something?

Avni again shook her head and Aditya nodded.

Aditya: ok.

Aditya thought and then he resumed his work. Avni saw that.

Avni: you are really going?

Aditya looked at Avni and stood properly. Aditya smiled and nodded.

Aditya: yes. This is what you wanted, right?

Avni looked on and then she looked down.

Aditya: Avni, sit. I was thinking of coming to you. I want to talk to you about something important.

Avni came forward and Aditya took away the suitcase and clothes. Avni sat on the bed carefully. Aditya sat on his knees and Avni got shocked.

Aditya: Avni, since the day, I have come here, your health is getting worse. I know, I am the reason behind it that’s why, I have decided to go away from your life.

Avni looked at Aditya.

Aditya: Avni, I just came to bring you back home but I think, my mistake is that much big that I can’t get any apology.

Avni looked down.

Aditya: so now, I am going back from here. I just want to say that don’t take stress because of me. I didn’t come to snatch your baby from you. I. I just came to complete our family.

Avni and Aditya got emotional. Aditya sighed and was looking down.

Aditya: anyways. Avni, don’t worry from my side, you will never get into any trouble from my side. This baby is yours and will live with you. No one will snatch it from you. I will never ask for its custody.

Avni was looking at Aditya with moist eyes.

Aditya: you just wipe off this thinking from your mind that I will try to snatch your baby from you in the future. I will not do that and will also not let my family do that. I will handle everything. You just keep your calm and take care of yourself and your baby.

Aditya’s breath broke because he was trying to not cry. Avni felt bad. Aditya pressed his eyes and chuckled. It was heartbreaking for him to call his baby, your baby. Aditya sighed. Aditya wiped his eyes.

Aditya: I will go from here tomorrow.

Avni got shocked. Aditya’s phone rang and he looked at his phone which was kept on the bed. Aditya got up and grabbed his phone and then he hurriedly went from there because he felt that he will not be able to control it anymore. Avni was looking at Aditya and then she thought.

Later, Avni was laying on the bed in Fowler’s position and she heard a knock on the door. Avni looked at the door and saw Aditya.

Aditya: may I come in?

Avni felt a pinch in her heart and nodded. Aditya smiled and came forward.

Aditya: ab I have a request.

Avni was looking at Aditya.

Aditya: if you don’t mind then can I sleep in your room tonight?

Avni looked on.

Aditya: if you are ok with it then… I will sleep on the couch. I promise I will not disturb you. I just want to make some memories. I want to keep you, you in my eyes forever.

Avni got emotional.

Aditya: can I…

Avni nodded and Aditya got happy.

Aditya: thank you, thank you so much, Avni. Thank you.

Aditya was very happy and he went from there. Avni was looking at him and she thought.

Avni looked at Aditya and then she looked down. Avni gulped and she went to the bed and sat there carefully. Avni was facing difficulty in adjusting the pillow and Aditya was looking at her.

Avni looked at him and then she looked down. Avni nodded. Aditya came to Avni and set her pillows. Avni forwarded her hand and Aditya saw that. Aditya looked at Avni and then he looked at the hand. Aditya held Avni’s hand and held Avni’s shoulder from behind. Aditya helped Avni to lay and Avni suppressed her lips. Aditya made Avni lay and then he cover her with the duvet. Avni was looking at him.

Aditya: good night.

Avni: good night.

Aditya smiled and turned.

Avni: close the door, please.

Aditya looked at Avni and passed a smile. Aditya nodded and then he first closed the door and then he switched off the light. The dim light and the lamp light were on. Aditya went to the couch and lay on it. Avni was looking at him. Aditya looked at Avni and smiled. Avni closed her eyes and Aditya was staring at Avni.

Aditya in mind: Tonight I want to see you with all my heart. Don’t know, if I will get this chance again or not. I want to capture your image in my eyes. I will spend my remaining life cherishing these memories.

Aditya thought.

Aditya in mind: I will go abroad when Avni will come to Mumbai. If I lived there then Avni will take the stress and she will live every day in fear so, it’s better I go away from here. Dad also don’t talk to me and I promised him that I will bring Avni with me but I failed to fulfill my promise. Now, I can’t go back... Everyone’s betterment is in it, I go from here. Yes, I will go away from here.

Aditya looked at Avni and he slept while staring at Avni. After some time, Avni opened her eyes and she looked at Aditya.

Avni in mind: tomorrow, he will go from here. How can he do that? How can he go leaving me alone here in this condition? He always does this… but this time, you hurt him. You talked rudely to him… but still, he came to pacify me then can’t he bear my anger. He lost hope so soon. He never loved me…

Avni sat on the bed carefully. Avni was feeling restless. Avni turned her face and took the bottle from the side bed. Avni drank water but still, she was feeling restless. Avni got up from the bed and walked into the room. Avni got tired so she came to the bed and sat on it. Avni’s eyes got moist.

Later, Aditya was sleeping and he heard the sobbing. Aditya frowned and opened his eyes. Aditya looked at the bed and got shocked to see the empty bed. Aditya sat on the couch and got shocked.
