When time passes, it becomes the past and we think that what is past is gone but our past is always with us no matter how much we try to ignore it but our past never leaves us.

Time passed and Avni and Aditya came close to each other. Their bond increased and they became the support system of each other. Everything was going so smoothly and was going well. They were a happily married couple.
Now, they can’t assume their lives without each other. They got habitual of each other.

It was the time of the night, the moon was glowing in the sky and it looked into Avni and Aditya’s room where Aditya entered the room while using his phone and he looked up. Aditya got surprised to see the room and closed the door at his back. The room was lighted by candles and roses were kept in the vase and rose petals were spread on the bed and a heart was made with the rose petals on the table. Aditya smiled and closed the door. Aditya turned to the room and came forward.

Aditya: Avni? Avni? Avni, where are you?

Aditya turned.

Aditya heard the sound of the anklet and bangles.

Aditya heard: Happy birthday day.

Aditya turned and he looked at the balcony. Avni came from behind the curtains while saying “to you”. She was wearing a beautiful saree.

Avni was wearing this saree but the blouse was off-shoulder.

A cake was in her hands. Aditya lost to see Avni.

Avni sang while saying: Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday, dear Adi.

Aditya was smiling.

Avni: Happy birthday to you.

Avni came to Aditya and stopped near him.

Avni: Happy birthday.

Aditya was smiling and he said thank you.

Aditya saw Happy Birthday Aditya on the cake. Aditya smiled and he looked at Avni.

Aditya: you remembered my birthday?

Avni: off course, what did you think that I forgot it?

Aditya smiled.

Aditya: No but I didn’t expect it.

Avni: I know.

They smiled.

Avni: come, let’s cut the cake.

Aditya smiled and they went to the couch. Aditya kept the cake on the heart-shaped rose petals and then they sat. Aditya kept his phone on the table. Avni gave the knife to Aditya. Aditya cut the cake and Avni sang the happy birthday song.

Avni: Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday, dear Adi, Happy Birthday to you.

Avni clapped and Aditya tried to feed Avni who broke the piece from the piece of the cake and fed Aditya and then Aditya fed Avni. They smiled. Aditya hugged Avni while cupping Avni’s face with one hand. Aditya kissed Avni. They broke the hug.

Aditya: thank you so much, Avni. Honestly, I was missing Mom and all because they plan a surprise for me every year but this time, they are not here.

Avni: don’t worry, they will come tomorrow.

Aditya smiled and nodded. Aditya’s phone rang.

Avni: and here it goes. They called you.

Aditya smiled and wiped his hand with the tissue and then he took the phone from the table. Aditya received the call.
Everyone was sitting and Arjun was standing behind the family leaning toward them. They wished Aditya together. Avni and Aditya smiled.

Aditya: thank you.

Anjana: Sorry, Adi, we were coming today but couldn’t make it.

Aditya: it’s ok, Mom. I understand.

Avni smiled. They talked and Avni got up. She moved away. Aditya cut the call and he looked for Avni who was standing at some distance. Aditya kept his phone on the table and he came to Avni who turned to him.

Aditya: what are you doing here?

Avni: nothing. Are you happy now?

Aditya smiled and nodded. Avni smiled. Something struck in Aditya’s mind and he pulled Avni to him. Avni flinched and then she looked at Aditya innocently. Aditya smiled.

Aditya: where is my birthday gift?

Avni was looking at Aditya and then she blushed. Aditya smiled.

Aditya: do you remember, you said that this birthday of mine will be grand and I will never forget it.

Avni looked at Aditya and cupped his face.

Avni: yes, I remember that and I will keep my promise. Tomorrow, you will get your gift and that will be the best gift of your life.

Aditya: why tomorrow? Why not today?

Avni: because I will get it tomorrow.

Aditya made a sad pout and Avni smiled.

Avni: Adi, when you will see your gift then you will be super happy that’s my guarantee.

Aditya: I can’t wait for that.

Avni: you have to.

Aditya made a sad face and Avni pecked his pout.

Avni: I love you.

Aditya smiled and hugged Avni.

Aditya: I love you too.

They smiled.

The sun rises and the Khanna family reached home but Gaurav was not with them. Aditya took their blessings and they met him. They wished Aditya and Avni also met them and took their blessings. They sat in the living area and talked for some time and then everyone went to their room to rest.

It was the time of the night, the moon was shining in the sky and the Rathore mansion was decorated beautifully. The moon peeked into Avni and Aditya’s room where Aditya was getting ready. Avni took out Aditya’s coat from the cupboard.

Avni came to Aditya who was brushing his hair. Aditya smiled to see Avni. Avni took out the hanger and kept it on the stool. Avni made Aditya wear the coat.

Aditya turned to Avni and Avni started to close the button of the coat. Avni looked at him and Aditya was looking at Avni lovingly. Avni lowered her gaze and closed the button of the coat. Aditya held Avni’s waist. Avni looked at Aditya and smiled. Avni resumed her work.

Aditya: don’t you think that you are forgetting something?

Avni looked at Aditya and smiled while setting his collar.

Avni: No. Do you think that I am forgetting something?

Aditya: yes.

Avni: what?

Aditya: my birthday gift.

Avni looked at Aditya and encircled her arms around his neck.

Avni: hmm, so you want your birthday gift?

Aditya nodded. Avni also nodded.

Avni: hmm. Ok, you will get your birthday gift soon.

Aditya got irritated.

Aditya: what is this, Avni? You are saying this since last night.

Avni smiled and said while pulling Aditya’s cheek: aww, my kuchi ku.

Aditya jerked away Avni’s hand and Avni smiled.

Aditya: I want my gift.

Avni: I will give you, your birthday gift.

Aditya: when?

Avni: after the party.

Aditya made a face and then something struck his mind. Aditya held Avni’s waist.

Aditya: at night? What is your plan?

Aditya pressed his nose on Avni’s cheek while saying hmmm. Avni smiled with closed eyes. They looked at each other. Aditya raised his eyebrows.

Avni: don’t get happy, we are not going to do that.

Aditya made a sad face.

Avni: oh come on, Aditya, you never leave a chance to do romance and come close to me.

Aditya made a sad pout and Avni pecked his pout. Avni cupped Aditya’s face.

Avni: don’t worry, you will get the best gift of your life. That’s my promise to you.

Aditya smiled.

Aditya: I trust you.

Avni smiled and Aditya kissed Avni’s forehead who closed her eyes. They smiled to see each other. Avni was unaware of the storm which was moving toward her to destroy her life and happiness.

The people were coming to the Khanna mansion and a crowd of people was present at the party. Avni and Aditya were meeting with the guests. Two ladies were roaming in the party. One lady saw Avni and frowned.

Lady: who is she?

Second lady: she is Aditya’s wife. Why?

Lady: don’t know, why I am feeling that I have seen her somewhere.

Lady 2: I also feel that to see her.

The lady thought and looked at Avni who was standing with Aditya, Aman, Aarti, and Arjun and was smiling.

Avni was talking with the staff and she instruct them. Avni turned and she looked at the lady. Avni smiled and greeted her. The lady smiled.

The lady smiled.

Avni was looking at the lady.

Kamiya: When you got married to Aditya, I was not here. I went abroad and now I have come back a couple of days ago.

Kamiya shook her head while smiling.

Avni: ok.

Avni turned her face and she saw Anjana standing with her friends. Anjana signed her come. Avni nodded.

Kamiya smiled. Avni turned and went to Anjana. Kamiya was looking at Avni.

The lady thought.

Aditya and others were standing near the table and Aditya cut the cake and others sang happy birthday and clapped. Aditya fed Avni and then he fed Anjana and others.

Everyone was enjoying themselves at the party and the Kamiya’s eyes were on Avni who was smiling while looking at Aditya who also looked at Avni.

Kamiya saw the flashes where Avni was a teenage girl and was trying to hide her face. Kamiya tried to remember where she had seen Avni. She looked at Avni. Aditya applied cake to Avni’s nose. Avni was surprised and she looked at Aditya who smiled. Avni made a cute pout and then she smiled. Aditya took the tissue and wiped Avni’s nose. They were smiling.
