It was the time of the morning, the sun peeped into Avni and Aditya’s room where Avni was standing in front of the dressing table and brushing her hair. It was Sunday so everyone was at home.

The door opened and Aditya came into the room. Avni got surprised to see him and looked down. Aditya looked up and saw Avni. Avni kept the hairbrush on the dressing table and turned. Aditya’s eyes were on Avni who was coming to him but Avni was looking down.

Avni remained silent.

Avni gave no reply.

Avni got shocked.

Avni remained silent. They heard that Anjana is calling Avni. Avni looked at the door and Aditya turned his face. Avni tried to free her hand. Aditya looked at the hands.

Aditya looked at Avni and left her hand in anger. Aditya got upset with Avni. Avni looked at the hands and then she thought. Aditya looked away and fumed. Avni didn’t look at Aditya and went from there. Aditya looked at Avni. Aditya sighed and he went to bed. Aditya sat. Aditya ran his hand through his hair and held his neck and then he joined his hands.

Aditya’s point of view:

Sometimes, it feels like everything is fine, and the next moment you prove me wrong. Everything was going so smoothly even awesome. We were a happily married couple. Avni herself came forward and proposed to me. She told me that she is ready to take our relationship forward. I asked her and made sure that she is ready, everything was fine. We consummate our marriage and became one soul. After that also, she was happy and fine then what happened in the early morning that changed her. what?

Aditya thought and looked at the door.

Aditya looked down. Aditya closed his eyes and sighed.

Avni ignored Aditya the whole day. Avni didn’t go to the room and when they gathered for lunch then also Avni ignored him. After lunch, everyone sat in the living area and Avni kept silent that time also and it pissed off Aditya so he went from there.

On the other side, Avni came to the terrace while running and she stopped there. Avni was panting so she kept her hand on her heart which was beating fast. Avni tried to control her breath and she saw the flashes of their last moment and felt shy. Avni hid her face in her palms.

It was the time of the night, the moon was shining in the sky and the soft breeze was playing with the curtains of windows and balcony’s door. Aditya entered the room while using his cell phone and he stopped when he looked up. Aditya saw that Avni is laying on the bed covering her with the duvet completely. Aditya shook his head and sighed. Aditya closed the door and locked it. Avni opened her eyes under the duvet and thought. Avni closed her eyes. Aditya came to the bed and kept his phone on the side table. Aditya sat on the bed and turned. Aditya lay hugging Avni from behind. Avni opened her eyes and her breath stopped.

Aditya: now where will you go?

Avni tried to control her smile and blush. Aditya smiled.

Aditya: now stop this acting. I know you are awake.

Avni closed her eyes.

Aditya: Avni! Avni!

Aditya tried to pull off the duvet and then he pulled it off pressing his lips. Aditya saw Avni’s eyes are closed. Aditya touched his face to Avni’s face and hugged her tightly.

Aditya kissed Avni’s cheek.

It was getting difficult for Avni to pretend.

Aditya: now come on, open your eyes and talk to me. I missed you so much the entire day. Today was Sunday but we didn’t get our quality time.

Avni didn’t say anything. Aditya looked at Avni.

Avni thought and she turned to Aditya. Avni shifted to Aditya’s pillow and hugged him from behind. Avni adjusted her head on the pillow closing her eyes. Avni kissed Aditya’s back.

Aditya smiled but he covered it. Avni snuggled to him and hugged him more tightly.

Aditya couldn’t control and smiled. Aditya turned to Avni who was looking at him. Avni held her one ear.

Aditya smiled and took away Avni’s hand shaking his head. Aditya kissed Avni’s forehead.

Avni looked at Aditya sadly and innocently.

Aditya remembered something. Aditya cupped Avni’s face and Avni looked at him.

Avni smiled and cupped Aditya’s face.

Aditya smiled lowering his gaze and Avni smiled to see him.

Avni lowered her gaze and adjusted her head on Aditya’s arm. Something struck in Aditya’s mind and he smirked. Avni troubled him the whole day now it is his turn. Aditya looked at Avni.

Avni looked at Aditya astonishingly.

Avni felt odd and shy so she lowered her gaze.

Avni smiled and turned to Aditya. Avni hugged Aditya who also captured Avni in his arms. Avni kissed Aditya’s cheek while hugging him and again kept her chin on Aditya’s shoulder. Aditya smiled. Avni closed her eyes.

Aditya smiled and captured Avni tightly in his arms. Aditya closed his eyes and they slept peacefully in each other’s embrace.
