Two days passed for Avni and Aditya’s meeting and they didn’t meet each other after that day. Aditya wanted to meet Avni but what excuse he makes, he was confused about it and he was feeling shy also.

It was the time of morning, the sun was shining over the Rathore mansion where the Rathore family was sitting in the living area except Aditya. Aditya came to the living area and he saw his family.

Aditya saw the time on his watch and then he looked at his father and brother.

Aditya: Dad, Arjun, don't you have to go to the office?

Arjun: first you tell your decision.

Aditya was coming to sit with them.

Aditya: decision? What do you mean?

Aditya came and sat.

Arjun: about Avni Ji and what? Please clear my mind so that I can move on, else it’s a yes from my side.

Aditya took a cushion and threw a cushion at Arjun.

Aditya: shut up, she is your Bhabhi, did you get that? Is your mind clear now? And don’t you dare to look at my Avni.

Arjun: what? My Avni? Wow.

Arjun got up in excitement.

Arjun: Mom, make dessert for us that too Kheer.  

Aditya grinned his teeth.

Aditya: you.

Aditya got up and ran behind Arjun. Anjana and Gaurav smiled. Arjun and Aditya ran around there.

Anjana: ok, now stop.

They stopped and looked at their mother.

Anjana: It's enough now, so stop it and go office. I call Alka Ji and tell her that it’s a yes from our side.

Aditya smiled by looking down.

Anjana: by the way, Adi, if you want to meet Avni then I talk to them.

Aditya: of course, mom, is this a thing to ask?

Everyone was surprised and Aditya realized what he said. He looked at his mother who raised her eyes. The family gave a teasing look to Aditya who felt shy and looked down.

Anjana: Gaurav, did you hear him?

Gaurav: yes.

Anjana: is he our Aditya?

Arjun: yes, he is. I told you yesterday also that your son slipped from your hand.

Aditya looked at him. Everyone chuckled.

Aditya: you.

Arjum ran and stood behind Anjana. Their parents chuckled

Aditya felt shy and he went from there while smiling. Men went to the office and Anjana sighed then dialed a number and kept her phone at her ear.

Anjana: Hello, Alka Ji?

Anjana talked to Alka and she said yes to Aditya and Avni’s alliance. Alka smiled.

Anjana: congratulations.

Alka: congratulations to you too.

They smiled.

Alka: I am going to give this good news to the family.

Anjana: ok, bye.

Alka: Bye.

Alka cut the call and she turned. Alka went to the family.

Indravati: what did she say, why did she call?

Alka: she called to tell that Aditya said yes to his and Avni’s alliance.

Avni got shocked and everyone smiled. Avni thinks.

Alka: they are coming in the evening to talk about their alliance and to fix the date of engagement.

Everyone was happy except Avni. Avni was shocked to hear that.

Amar: to fix the date of engagement?

Alka nodded.

Amar: don’t you think, it is too earlier?

Indravati: earlier? Aditya and Avni are ok with this alliance. We know the Rathore family and you said yes to Gaurav for meeting after meeting and verification and now you are saying that it is too earlier?

Amar: I didn’t mean that. I know, Aditya is a nice boy but I think Avni and Aditya should meet each other, should know each other then they should think that whether they should say yes or no to this alliance.

Indravati: Everything is going well so let it go like this.  If they ask about the date then no need to ask for time. Avni and Aditya had said say for their alliance.

Amar nodded and he looked down. Alka looked at Avni and she found her lost.

Alka: what happened, Avni?

Avni looked at Alka and everyone looked at Avni.

Alka: What are you thinking?

Avni looked at the family.

Avni: Mama, I want to tell truth to Aditya.

Everyone got shocked.

Avni: Aditya is a nice person and any relationship depends on love and trust. I cannot lie to him and his family. They have the right to know the truth.

Indravati: No, you will not tell the truth to anyone.

Avni was shocked.

Indravati: Past is past, there is no point in looking back. Forget the past and think about your future.

Avni: we can’t hide the truth for long. The truth will come out one day. Before they find out the truth from somewhere else, we should tell them.

Amar thinks.

Indravati: and who will tell them? No one knows about that incident so your betterment is in remaining silent.

Avni was about to say.

Indravati: enough, I said that no one will tell them about that incident so no one will tell them and that’s final. Go to your room and have some rest. The Rathore family will come in the evening and you should look fresh and happy in front of them.

Avni looked down and nodded then Avni got up and she went from there. Avni’s parents were looking at Avni and then they looked at each other. Alka and Amar think.

In the time of evening, the Rathore family came to Chauhan's house. All sat and Aditya was looking for Avni. His eyes were searching the beautiful face of Avni.

Arjun caught Aditya and he smiled.

Arjun: you are looking for Bhabhi.

Aditya looked at Arjun and he act innocent.

Aditya: No, I was just looking at the interior.

Arjun: really?

Aditya nodded while not looking at Arjun.

Arjun: ok.

Aditya looked away.

Arjun: here Bhabhi came.

Aditya immediately turned his face to see Avni but nobody was there then Arjun chuckled.

Arjun: what happened, you were not looking for Bhabhi.

Aditya glared at Arjun who smiled.

Aditya: Arjun… I will see you later.

Anjana: where is Avni?

Alka: actually, she was not feeling well so she slept after having medicine. I am going to call her.

Aditya was shocked and he got worried.

Anjana: no, no, let her have some rest.

Aditya: what happened to Avni?

Aditya was a little bit tense.

Alka: no, no. nothing is there to worry about. Actually, since morning, this father, daughter were busy discussing the project and Avni is handling that project so she had a headache because of stress and tiredness. She can’t see anything in front of her work.

Aditya shook his head.

Anjana: just like you, Adi.

Everyone chuckled. Aditya smiled but he was worried for Avni also.  

On the other side, Avni was sleeping in her room and she stirred in sleep. Avni woke up and she saw the time on her cell phone. Avni was shocked to see the time. Avni sat on the bed and kept her hair behind her ear.

Avni: it's 06:30 pm and I am still sleeping. Today, Aditya was coming with his family. Oh God, Avni, you are too much. Now come on get ready fast and go downstairs.

Avni kept her phone on the bed and she got up in a hurry.

On the other side, both families were sitting in the living area and Aditya was a little bit worried for Avni.

Gaurav: when Aman is coming back from London.

Amar: after two days.

Gaurav: that’s good.

Anjana: you did right, Bhai sahab, you sent Aarti with him.

Alka: Actually, it was Avni’s idea. She asked us to send Aarti with Aman. She said that Aman is going for one month so what will her beloved Bhabhi do here alone, she should go with Aman. Aman will do his work and in his free time, they will enjoy themselves there.

Aditya smiled to hear that.

Gaurav: she said right. Daughter-in-law is also a human, the in-laws think about her happiness also after all, she comes to a new house, and a new family after leaving her home, her family.

Aditya was listening to his father and he thinks.

Anjana: Aarti is also a nice and well-mannered girl. We have met her many times at parties. But, I never got the chance to meet Avni. She never came to any party.

Alka smiled.

Alka: Avni hardly gets time. You know, office work and all so she gets tired plus she doesn’t like parties and all. She got a headache in noisy places.

Everyone smiled and Aditya thinks.

Almost after 20 minutes, Avni came to the living area and greeted everyone.

Avni took blessings from Anjana and Gaurav.  Avni stood at the side.

Anjana: How are you, Avni?

Avni: I am fine, aunty, how are you?

Anjana: I am good, dear. And please don’t call me aunty I am Adi’s mother so from now I am your mother too so call me, mom.

Avni smiles. Aditya also smiled.

Avni: ok, Aunty.

Anjana: again aunty.

 Avni: sorry aun… no, mom.

Everyone smiled.

Arjun: Bhabhi, why are you standing? Please sit.

Avni was surprised to hear Bhabhi but she smiled.

Avni: it's ok, Arjun, I am fine.

Aditya: Avni, Arjun is saying right, sit, till when you will stand like this.

Avni looked down.

Arjun: now I got it what’s the matter, why Bhabhi is not sitting.

Aditya frowned. Others were confused also.

Anjana: why?

Arjun: actually, Bhabhi is feeling shy, there is only one couch that is vacant to sit and Bhai is sitting there so Bhabhi is feeling shy. Right, Bhabhi?

Everyone smiled and Avni looked down.

Aditya stood up and walked towards Avni.

Aditya: Avni, you sit, already you are unwell.

Avni was staring at Aditya.

Avni in mind: Aditya is such a nice person, I can’t hide the truth from him. He has the right to know about that.

Aditya: Avni?

Avni came out of her thoughts and looked down.

Avni: no, it’s ok, I am fine. You sit, please.

Arjun: ok, we can do one thing, I am standing up, and you both sit comfortably.

Aditya: this will be right, nice idea, now get up, fast.

Avni was about to deny it.

Gaurav: yes, my child, you both are going to tie in a relationship, you both have to spend your whole life together so sit. It’s ok.

Avni nodded by looking down. Aditya signed with his hand that you first. They moved to the couch and Arjun got up. Avni and Aditya sat at some distance from each other.

Anjana: so, Aman and Aarti will come till the day after tomorrow so we can fix the date of one day after that. Is this ok?

The elders nodded.

Anjana: Aditya, cancel all your meetings on that day.

Aditya: Ok, mom, I will do that but first ask Avni once that she is ready for the engagement or not.  

Avni stared at Aditya. The Chauhan family smiled to hear him.

Aditya: maybe, she needs time.

Aditya: Avni, do you have any problem with this alliance? If you need time then you can tell us, no one will force you to this engagement now. You can take your time. If you want, we can postpone this engagement.

Avni shook her head by looking down. Avni looked at Aditya.

Avni: No, Aditya, I don’t have any problem. I am ready for this engagement.

Aditya smiled.

Aditya: ok. Mom, I also have no problem.

Everyone smiled.

Arjun: ye kaho na, bhai, man main ladoo phut rahe hain.

All laughed and Aditya glared at him.

Aditya: you again talked in between.

Arjun: it is my mouth so I will talk.

Aditya: you.

Aditya was about to get up but he controlled himself because of the family. Everyone was enjoying their cute fight. Aditya and Avni looked at each other and they smiled.
