Are you all ready for our first stop? We have travelled 7,213.8 KM from Belle-Île-en-Mer to reach this city of wonders. Before we go onto depth of this particular city, I want to give you some clues. This city lies in the heart of the country that belongs in thousands of stories of Arabian nights.

Yes, We are off to a city in the United Arab Emarites a.k.a UAE.

Well... For those who guess Dubai, YOU ARE-

WRONG!!

Lets guess again.

It is the capital of UAE. It is the home for the president of UAE. It hosts the Formula One race since 2009. There are many amazing tourist spots in this city even Ferrari world.

Lets go ABU DHABI (pronounced Abū Ẓaby)

Abu Dhabi means Father of Gizelle. ( where 'Abu' means father and 'dhabi' means gizelle)

It is said that this city was given the name ABU DHABI because of the abundance of gazelles in the area and a folk tale involving Sheikh Shakhbut bin Dhiyab Al Nahyan.

well the story is an interesting one, here it goes:

Shakbut's father,Dhiyab bin Isa , had sent a hunting party from in 1761 which tracked a to a brackish spring on the island. Dhiyab ordered Shakbut to move to the island in 1793; he did, and built a village and fort there near a freshwater spring. The fort, Qasr Al-Hosn, became the palace of the sheikhs. It housed the Centre for Documentation and Research for several years, and is now being developed into a museum. By Shakhbut's reign, Abu Dhabi had expanded to some 400 houses.

That's from where it all began. The star here is a GIZELLE. *I could hear a mehhhee sound of GIZELLE from background*

In UAE, it is ruled by a bunch influential Ruling Family. In Abu-dhabi, it is ruled by the house of Al Nahyan Family.

So, my travel mates, there are indeed kings, queen, prince and princess in arabia too.

Even though the royal family tree is vast with- kings, their fathers and their fathers 6 wives and those six wives 10 children and their 10 children's 15 mothers and the list goes... on and on and on...

But luckily this family tree isn't as complicated as those in GOT and DARK. *sigh*

Coming to Abu dhabi.

Abu Dhabi fronts the on the north for about 280 miles (450 km). The desolate coast has many areas of sabkhah ("salt marsh") and numerous offshore islands. Abu Dhabi borders (west), (south), and , formerly and Oman (east). Internally it half surrounds Dubai and has a short frontier with .

Most of the people when they hear the word UAE. It's mostly Dubai for them but we forget to the vast and amazing magical land of Abu Dhabi.

Most of you might be familiar with the very famous Sheikh Zayed Mosque.

Abudhabi appeared in lot of movies. Do you remember any?

Moreover there are lot more to explore in Abu dhabi. For now lets eat some traditional food and enjoy a week in this amazing land. Then we will pack our bags again and continue our journey... I am thinking of travelling to southern ASIA.  Any guesses where?
