After the events that transpired earlier today I felt pretty good even though my body looks absolutely beat up with all these scars.

"So about the scars"

"You went a little insane back then and you went at the enemies head on"

"Well better than being dead, thanks to all of you"

As I say that, Koneko comes down from upstairs.

"Hey, do you have a sec?"

"Sure"

"Ill be right back" I wave at Rias, Akeno, and Issei.

I follow her out the back door to the porch.

"About what happened earlier"

"Oh yea, im sorry about just walking in like that. Truthfully I don't know how I got there"

"What do you mean?"

"Well the last thing I remember was being out there in the battle field"

And talking to my mother.

"It doesn't matter how you got there, what I'm trying to get to is don't do that again or I'll punch you in the gut. Whatever happened it never happened, okay?"

"Sure"

Hearing those words FELT like a punch in the gut. Did I do something to anger her. I don't know. Women.

She walks back in after the conversation but I stay behind. I go to the field before laying down on the grass. It's Saturday so I don't have to worry about school for now. I lay back under a tree, listen to the birds chirp and the wind's breeze hit my face. Everything feels calm for once in my life. I think back to what my mother told me.

"Logan's Last Wish"

I keep thinking about it. It's meant to protect one person only from what I understood and I already wasted it on someone who I seem to annoy.

*sigh*

Im still trouble understanding how I got there. That's when I heard footsteps coming towards me. I look up to see Xenovia.

"Hi Y/n, what are you doing laying down on the grass"

"Hi Xenovia, I'm just laying down, thinking about stuff"

"Mind if I join you?"

"Sure, go ahead"

She goes to lay right next to me.

"So what's on your mind, I heard you had an amazing morning" she teased.

"It's not what you think, I just happened to wake up there. I don't know how I got there"

"I heard you said that she called you there"

"Yea, I heard her voice while I was unconscious"

"Well... When I went to lay her down I did hear her say something"

"What did she say?"

"She said, Y/n dont leave me"

I was shocked at hearing her say that. She didn't want me to leave. Wow. Wait stop it Y/n, maybe she just felt bad with what happened and she didn't want us to die. But then again who would want to see one of their friends die. Wait are we even friends? This is too much to process.

As I was busy in thought I felt something rest against my arm.

"Uh Xenovia, what are you doing?" she was laying her head on my arm.

"I'm a little tired, being worried all night making sure you stayed alive and then finding out you weren't even in bed, having to run around trying to look for you exhausted me" she looked at me with sleepy eyes.

"Well I guess you're right, then shouldn't you-" I looked at her.

She's already asleep!!!

Well I don't want to wake her up. I pet her head a little.

"Good night even though it's morning" I smile before slowly feeling sleep hit me.

Akeno Pov

I go out trying to find Y/n. He's going to need training, we don't want him getting injured like the last time. I go out the back looking for him with Koneko.

"Y/n" I yell out to see if he can hear me. I turn to my left to see something laying under a tree. It's Xenovia from the looks of it, but she isn't alone.

"Is she with Issei?"

"What?"

"Oh nothing, I just saw Xenovia over there by the tree laying down with Issei I think"

"Wait hold on, Xenovia!!" I start making my way towards her before Rias comes out of the House.

"Hey Akeno have you seen Y/n yet?" she steps out with Issei right behind her.

"Wait Issei?!"

"Yea, what's wrong?" he looked at me confused.

"Aren't you with Xenovia?" I say pointing towards her.

"No, Kiba?"

We all start heading towards her to find out why Y/n was missing.

"Y/n?!" Rias looked surprised.

"Hey Xenovia, wake up" I started shacking her, trying to wake her up.

"Mmm, what is it?" she spoke, still sleepy.

"Why are you sleeping on Y/n?"

"It's his fault I didn't get much sleep. I told him he owes me this much. He's really comfortable to sleep on too" she said giggling.

"Okay well, it's time to wake up though, so come on" I said extending an arm to her.

"Nooo, go away, 10 more minutes" she said laying her head back down on Y/n chest.

"She said to get up" I could hear anger in Koneko's voice as she walked up to her and pulling her off of him.

"Ow okay fine I'll get up" she said as she started getting up from the ground.

"Y/n, sweety, it's time to wake up" I said as I started fixing his hair.

Y/n Pov

"Hmm" I slowly opened my eyes and saw Akeno fixing a few lose ends on my head.

"Rise and shine" she greeted me with a smile.

"How come everyone's just surrounding me, is something wrong?"

"No, we were looking for you since you'll start training on your hand to hand combat"

"Awesome, but shouldn't I be training with my sword"

She looked at Rias and frowned a little. Rias simply just nodded.

"Well, since you haven't been able to control the sword we can't have you fight with it"

"I understand"

"But you still need to train the basics, you are a rook after all, you rely on your strenght a lot"

"What no way I'm still just a pawn and he's a rook from the start!!" Issei sounds annoyed.

"We'll provide you with another katana after you've completed your basic training. You'll be learning with Rias and Koneko"

"Sounds fine"

"I'll train him on that" Xenovia jumps from behind me putting her arms around my neck.

"And after you're done we can come back here and I can rest on you again" she smiled.

"Why?" I blushed as I can feel her- no stop right there I'm not like Issei.

"Because, for some reason I feel safe and you're also pretty built yet you're body feels so smooth and soft like a teddy bear" she says cuddling up to me.

"I don't know how I feel about those comments" as I try to ask her to get off me, Koneko rips her arms off of me before I'm dragged off.

"Training starts now"

"Wait what hold on, I can walk on my own. Koneko can you hear me? I said I can walk on my own.

We get in the house before she lifts me and throws me to the wall.

"What's your business with her?"

"Nothing"

Why does she look pissed.

"Why was she laying on you then"

"Well.. It's kinda stupid to answer"

"I want to hear it" she asked me.

"Okay"

I tell what happened for a few minutes before she apologizes for throwing me and dragging me. I could see a little blush on her face as she keeps looking down. I put a hand on her head and start petting it.

"Let's go train a little" I said smiling. She smiled back saying.

"Okay"

Koneko Pov

I drag Y/n closing the door before throwing him towards the wall.

"What's you're business with her?"

You liar, you said you'd always be there for me but there you were laying with another girl, you asshole!!!

"Nothing"

I don't believe you.

"Why was she laying you then"

"Well.. It's kinda stupid to answer"

"I want to her it" I asked him.

He explained to me what happened. I apologized for throwing him and dragging him.

Why do I feel so relieved. Why did I feel so much anger when I saw Y/n and Xenovia sleeping together. It's not like I like him or anything.

I blush as I look down before feeling his hand petting my head.

"Let's go train a little" he said smiling.

"Okay" I smiled back.
