"Ah there you are, how have you been boy" I arrived to Grandpa Ryu's call.

"Why do you keep calling me that"

"Because it's my nickname for you child, now come here I must ask you a question"

"Ok" I sat down next to him under a tree near a hill with a beautiful view of the mountains.

"Now you want to be strong, strong enough so you can protect you family, the village am i not?"

"Yea"

"To be strong, you have to be both, physically and mentally strong you know"

"I've been wanting to train you for a while now child, you have the brightest potential in the village"

"But there are much more talented guys in the village"

"But in none of them do I see what you have, the will to fight for what you love"

"Yes, all those other young men are skilled because they came from a good upbringing and have talent but don't train to perfect it"

"So they're lazy?"

"Yes, they try to do it because of the fame and such, but you child, you fight to protect everyone even though some may have a problem with you"

"Why do some of them hate me gramps? Its not like I ever bother them" I flopped to the ground.

"Because they see you as weak, the strong will always feast on the weak"

"I don't want to be weak" I said in a gloomy tone.

"That's exactly what I wanted to hear"

"So you'll train me then?" I flipped right up smiling from ear to ear.

"Sure but, I want to give you something to get you started" he said brining out something from his bag.

"What is it?" I tried peeking over his shoulder. He then brings out a katana.

"Woaaaaahh" I gazed at it in amazement.

"This is called the Soul of Erebus, it is yours now child" he handed me the sword.

"Awesome!!"

"Now repeat after me child"

"To the beast known as Erebus who's soul lies in this sword"

"To thy I sell my soul, my body to thy force"

"I plead you give me your strength to destroy everything that gets in my way"

"And hope you protect this host incase anything tries to destroy this body that is now yours"

I repeat everything he said. The sword gave a black aura after what I had said.

"Father!!!" I overheard my dad from behind us. I was so glad he was here so I can show him my new blade.

"Look dad" I showed it to him proudly.

"Give me that!!!" he snatched out of my hands.

"Go to your mother Now!!"

He yelled at me and I followed his instruction as fast as I could.

"How could you do that to my son you bastard!!"

"You didn't have his potential"

"Why would you give him to Erebus you fucking lunatic"

"Because he wanted to be stronger so I helped him"

"You're insane!!" he then left, angry at his father.

"We'll see his potential in full display Yahiko" he said in a low voice, smile creeping on his face.

Rias looked at the sword.

"I'll destroy it then"

"If you destroy it, you'll kill him too-"

Just as he was finishing his sentence, Koneko appeared from his left almost delivering a strong kick to his head.

"Rias you can't kill him!!!" she pleaded with Rias.

"I know, I won't"

"Hey child, you still there?"

I slowly lifted my head in confusion.

"Huh?"

I... Know that voice.

"Gramps?"

He pulled his hoodie back... It was him.

"How have you been boy?"

"No, I saw you die.. I watched you die in my arms"

"I'm alive child, and never felt better"

"How?"

"You see I never suffered an injury"

"But there was blood all over you"

"Yea that was from your mother and father" he smirked before letting a chuckle.

"Pretty good acting huh?"

"You said I killed them" my eyes wide open, I was at a complete lost for words. He did this.

"I also orchestrated everything that happened at Minakawa too just in case you were wondering"

Tears welled up in my eyes. How. How could he have done this.

"You don't remember right? I'll tell you all about it then"

Ryu Pov

Well it seems these kids were as gullible as i thought. Telling them that that boy was talking all that crap. Haha this should do just well to hopefully trigger Bezerker mode at least. Now time to just sit back and keep watching him get beat to a pulp until he asks for or Erebus just goes and protects him.

"Giving them his father's neckless after killing him only makes it even more possible. Guess it's time to jump in"

"Take this you bitch" the older of the bunch just keeps kicking him.

"Please, I never said anything" Y/n cries out.

"You should just die you low piece of shit. Just like your mother and father" he kicks him in the gut.

"Hey!!"

"You there"

"What do you want old man"

"You killed my son and his wife" I faked tears some tears to make it believable.

"What?" Y/n looks towards me.

"He what?"

"What no i didn't" He said.

"I saw you but I was too old to do anything.." I continued my act trying my best to trigger it.

"Fuck off I never did shit"

"Then why do you have my father's neckless" Y/n said.

The bully reached towards his neck. Before he could say anything a blade was running through his chest and falls, dead. The rest of the kids were shocked at what he saw. That's when I noticed the black smoke coming from the blade into his arm reaching almost to his face. It's here. The moment I was waiting for. Bezerker form.

Y/n Pov

He... He tricked me into killing everyone. I felt a sudden rush hit me stronger than when I took out the blade the first time. All the hatred I had was at it's limit. I wanted to destroy this man. I don't see him as family anymore. I want to kill him!!! Kill!!! Kill!!! Kill!!! Was all I could think of before everything turned black.

Koneko Pov

I was taken back for a minute. He was his family, why would he do that to him at such a young age too. That's when I felt a power aura from behind me. That's when I saw him. Slowly walking forward with his head facing the ground, sword dragging on the ground.

"Y/n" called Rias to no respond. That's when he lifted his head with a black marking on his face.

"YOU'RE GONNA DIE BASTARD!!!" he yelled, charging at his grandfather.

"Men protect me" he retreated back.

They tried to fight him but he just went right through them slicing each one that arrived.

"OUTTA MY WAY!!!"

He killed everyone that was in his way until he got to him but he looks pretty skilled. Y/n tried to slice him half multiple times but missed.

"He's skilled" Rias came beside me as I knocked out the last remaining enemy.

"Stay put so I can kill you old man!!!" he swung at him but the old man was to skilled. With one kick he sent him flying back. He stopped for a moment but he didn't look like it was gonna be the end of it.

Y/n Pov

"You're still not skilled enough boy"

Kill.. Kill... KILL!!!

"Right now you're in your Bezerker form and can't hear me right?" he smiled.

KILL. KILL. KILL!!!

Koneko Pov

Rias looks frightened as she looks at him. I have to snap him out of it.

I run trying to see if their is anything I can do to stop him, but I don't see the trap.

"You're mine bitch!!"

A girl pops out from the tree with a sword ready to kill me.

"KONEKO!!" Rias screams out.

This is where it ends..

I closed my eyes. Something on my face. I wipe it from my eyes. It's blood. As I look up to look Y/n jumped infront of me to be impaled through the chest.

"Y-Y/n"

Seemingly unfazed by being stabbed through the chest, he grabs her arm before punching her in the face and slamming her into the ground so hard the ground shattered.

He slowly got up.

Y/n Pov

Kill.. Kill...

I slowly walked towards him.

"How aren't you dead" he slowly walked backwards falling after a couple of feet. Getting up and running away.

Before I could catch up to him I felt a sudden pain in my head and blacked out.

"Y/n" everyone yelled.

The all came to check up on his wounds.

"Rias, what about him" Akeno asked.

"Let him get away. Asia you need to heal him now"

"On it"

Rias looked over at Koneko who was almost at the verge of tears.

"Don't worry about him, he'll be okay i promise." she hugged her as she started tearing up.

"He's in pain because I got reckless and didn't notice her. It's my fault. Its my fault!!" she cried.

"No its not your fault" she squeezed her tights.

"Akeno, we need a portal back now"

"Yes Rias"

"What the hell, bastard nearly killed me" he laughed.

Just proves I was right about him hehehe.
