"Hmm?" I turn around to a large building in town. I feel a little unease, almost like someone's watching us. I grip the handle of my katana, ready incase my feeling is right. I must have been so deep into that though I didn't notice everyone had stopped to look at me as I was staring at nothing but buildings.

"Is something wrong Y/n?"

I stay silent for a bit before speaking what i had to say.

"Someone's watching us" I whispered. I kept looking at the roof of the giant building.

"Well well he isn't that low skilled as I thought he might be" laughed the leader.

"He has seen us?!"

"He can sense our presence, no use in hiding it now. Let's go and say a little hi to him" he grinned while jumping out from the backside of the roof.

Y/n Pov

"Rias, how fast can you create a portal to send us back home"

"I can teleport us right now, why is something wrong?"

"You need to get everyone out of here" I prepared to take the blade out the katana out of it's sheath before remembering.

"It was you Y/n"

I shake my head. I need to protect these people. I may not have any experience in battle but if this sword could really grant me power, then I need to try. I feel a hand plant itself on shoulder.

"You said to get out yet, you have the least amount of experience out of all of us. We won't go anywhere and we certainly won't leave anyone behind from this household" she said looking me in the eyes.

"She's right, we never try to leave a person behind" Akeno came from my other side.

"We'll kick their ass" Koneko came cracking her knuckles.

"Alright"

So, this is what a family felt like. I've never been with any group in a long time where I've felt a bond this strong not even with Miku's group.

"So how have you been Y/n? My you've grown up"

"I don't know who you are or what you want but just know if you lay a hand on any of them I will kill you"

"Relax there Y/n, why so much hostility"

I got some serious bad vibes with him.

"I've come to make you an offer"

I was shocked by his words but decided to listen up.

"Come with us and we'll spare your little family you got right here, join my army and I'll train you to reach your potential" he reached his hand out.

"No thank you"

"What?! After everything he did to Minakawa, this isn't what we agreed to, I want to kill him for what he did to my family. We all want revenge!!" yells could be heard behind him.

They're from Minakawa huh?... Wait that voice.

"Miku?"

"Don't talk to me you bastard!!"

I freeze for a moment.

"We took care of you, we feed you. Now to realize you killed everyone we knew. You killed my son. You killed my husband."

Tears began to slowly fall from eyes. She's right, I did that. My grip soon released my sword.

"You deserve to die for that, pay for what you did"

I'm left speechless. Bezerker form. That's what killed them not me.

"I didn't kill them"

"Stop lying he told us the truth" she pointed towards the man in the hood.

"It wasn't me"

"I want you dead, and if you won't accept it your fate, then I'll take your life from you"

She charged heading straight for me. I couldn't move my legs. Did she have a point. She deserved to do this. I took what matter the most from her regardless if I was conscience or not.

"AAAH" her blade stopped centimeters from my heart.

"I'm sorry but we can't allow that to happen, he is a proud member of the Gremory" Kiba blocked her attack. Rias soon stepped in between us.

"Listen, I understand that what happened before was tragic. You lost your family and I am sorry about that, but he is under my household and I cannot allow you to harm him unless you want me to return it back" she said with the most serious expression I've ever seen her wear.

"Rias enough, she has a point I-"

"I don't care what you did before, you are a member of my family now and I don't let my family get hurt"

"So they are your family now huh, well you took my family, it's only fair I take yours isn't it"

She swung for Rias before Kiba could react. Before her blade could connect with her neck, she was suddenly met with another blade. My blade.

"I won't allow you to lay a hand on the president. This is a problem between you and me"

I quickly rush at her and kick at her, pushing her back. I noticed a mark on my arm.

I feel a sudden rush of power.

I swing at her multiple times but she just dodges them all with ease.

"You forget I'm who trained you Y/n"

"Yea, you might have that advantage over me but, I got people fighting for me and I got to fight for them too. Even if it's against you"

"Shut up and fight me then" we quickly rush at each other again before colliding with our swords.

"We can't let him fight that entire army on his own, we have to help him out"

"I'm on it, let's do it Ddraig"

"Lets do this"

Issei quickly starts boosting up.

"Kiba he isn't experienced so he might need your help"

"On it lady Rias"

"The rest of you follow me"

"Right" everyone rushed right behind her to take out the rest.

There isn't much I can do, she is whooping my ass and I can't lay a hand on her. I tried to swing at her but she just grabs my arm before elbowing me in the face.

"You are such a worthless man for lying to us, for destroying what our ancestors had built. Why?"

"I got your back Y/n" Kiba suddenly arrived.

"My problem's not with you but if you don't get out of my way, you will die"

"No thanks it will be you ma'am"

"Raaaaagh!!!"

She ran up to him.

"Kiba"

"Don't worry about me Y/n, let me protect you" he then charges to her too and the two then start to fight it out in an intense duel with both seemingly going toe to toe with each other.

"Y/n go help lady Rias I'll take care of her, hurry"

"He isn't going anywhere"

"Well you'll just have to get through me first then" he grinned at her.

I rush to help out with the rest when I felt a pain in my chest that causes me to fall to my knees gripping my chest.

"Ah. I. Can't breathe, my chest hurts"

"Y/n!!" Rias rushes towards me.

"Asia, we need you help"

"Coming Rias" she come as fast as she could.

She quickly tried to use some sort of healing magic to no effect.

"I can't-"

"You can't heal what isn't capable of being healed" the man with the hood appeared in front of us.

"You'll have to put the blade back in it's sheath, your soul is basically being eaten alive the longer you use it but it also returns it slowly once you stop using it"

"Quick, put the sword back in its sheath"

Asia then puts the Soul of Erebus back in it's sheath.

"Why would he tell us this?"

"Because he isn't ready yet"

"What do you mean ready, ready for what?" Rias asked.

"Ready to be the perfect host for Erebus to take, so we can bring chaos back into this world"
