A month had passed since Eren, Mikasa, Armin and I joined the military. 

So far it wasn't so bad, I think?

I learned more about titans during lectures, tried the 3DMG harness -  even though I almost fell after a few attempts of wearing the straps, met new people like Sasha, Krista, Ymir, Reiner, Bertholdt, Annie, Jean and Connie, spar practice, and we got lectured a bunch of times from Commander Shadis.

Sigh, Armin was right. 

It's only just the beginning.

"Alright, you're all dismissed!!"

Commander Shadis gathered his things before leaving the room and commanded one of the cadets to erase the writings on the board.

"Finally!", said Connie as he stretched his arms, "Now I can finally take a nap after this".

Some of the cadets stood up from their seats so they could finally exit the lecture room and celebrate freedom.

"We'll be going ahead", Ymir said as Krista followed her, "We'll see you in a bit later, guys".

"S-Same here!", said Reiner as he stood up as well - just to follow the two girls (especially Krista), "Let's go guys!".

"Oi, you're aiming to follow Krista, aren't you?", Ymir said as she glared at Reiner.

"E-Eh? No! Actually...", Reiner stopped talking until he saw Bertholdt, "B-Bertholdt and I have to practice our sparring at the open field, am I right?".

Bertholdt laughed awkwardly and just go along whatever Reiner is saying.

"Yeah, haha", Bertholdt said.

Thus, the four of them left the room including Annie, who really needs to go back to her room.

The people who remained here is just us: Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Marco, Jean, Sasha and Connie and I.

"Reiner really looked like he wanted to talk to Krista but Ymir being there is bad news, haha", said Marco and laughed.

"Yeah but who wouldn't talk to a girl like Krista? I mean she's like a goddess!", said Jean dreamily.

Connie agrees while the others sighed and shook their heads.

"Alright, you two. Don't let your thoughts get that far before Ymir will found out", said Sasha before eating her bread that she stashed on her bag for a while, "For now let's just hang outside and eat!".

"You're already eating, Sasha", said Armin - stating the obvious with a chuckle.

"Well, that's because I'm hungry and that's why I made the suggestion for us to eat right now, haha", said Sasha, raising her bread in the air, "So shall we?".

Eren patted his stomach a slight bit and said, "Hmm, I'm pretty hungry myself. Yeah, let's go guys. We need to get our strength back before spar practice".

All of us exited the room and proceed to the mess hall.

TIME SKIP

"H-Hey!! That's my share!", said Connie in an annoyed tone.

Sasha laughed and ate Connie's share of potatoes before getting up to get some more glasses of water.

"Geez, does this girl know the word 'share' by any chance?", said Connie as he sighed to himself.

"Maybe its not in her dictionary, haha", said Marco as he ate his share of potatoes.

"Then remind her to write it down", said Connie before getting up to get some more potatoes from the assigned cadet who's handling the food in the mess hall.

Mikasa sighed and said, "I think Sasha is going through something today and its something girls have every month, am I right (Y/N)?".

She looked at me and I agreed from what she said because that's something I experienced that every month and its terrible. Like someone wants to beat my stomach.

"Yeah, and it's always a terrible feeling", I said and continued drinking my soup.

Mikasa chuckled, making the other boys confused but Armin almost seemed like he understood what we're talking about.

Our conversations went on for a while and at the middle of it, I glanced at Armin from time to time whenever he starts speaking.

Thus thoughts began to kick in.

'Wow, who would've thought that he became one of my influential and nicest friends that I've ever had. After he comforted me about my dad's death when we first became friends, he gave me nice and encouraging words just to make me feel better'

'He's smart, determined, somewhat scared at times, and sometimes adorable. He's even someone who I can rely on whenever something is bothering me and I also did it in return whenever I listen to his concerns. Now that we're reunited once again, I was so happy - that I finally get to be with him again'

'But...for some reason, I feel a bit different whenever I'm with him now-'

My thoughts were cut off when Armin patted my shoulder a few times.

"(Y/N)? (Y/N)? Are you alright? You're spacing out", said Armin with a hint of concern in his voice.

I gasped when I realized he kept tapping my shoulder a few times and quickly replied, "Y-Yeah!! I'm okay. I was reminiscing at the moment, that's all".

He gave me a warm smile and said, "Alright, but if you have any problems just ask me, okay? You know I'm always here for you, right? Always".

He gave me one more tap on the shoulder and continued our group conversation.
