"Where did you get that necklace?" Armaan asks Yusuf who unconsciously touches the necklace that was around his neck.

"Why? What does it matter to you?" He asks her back instead of answering her questions.

Maybe she knows me but she couldn't. I changed so much. No, she doesn't know me. Why did I have to wear this type of shirt again?

"Because someone who meant everything to me gave me half a heart...but it couldn't be you could it?"She says, asking herself while shaking her head.

"Who is this person?" Yusuf asks her.

"Someone who I thought would never forget me but I was wrong. Anyways, I will see you in class," Armaan says walking away and entering the next class.

Yusuf didn't want to tell her who he was.

He was important to her until he realized that his Aru had grown into a beautiful woman who would always have his heart.

"Why don't you just tell her?..."

"I can't break her heart again. And you know why..."

"It won't come back, Yusuf. It has been almost twelve years now. You are and will always be cancer-free. Tell her before someone else does and she might end up hating you", his best friend Emad says to him.

"I know but I can still see my parents' faces when they found out and Aru when she gladly donated her bone marrow to me. I have this fear that all of this might be just a dream...."

"I will be there for you and so will she. But you have to remember not to push her away when you two will need each other," Emad advises his friend.

"Thank you but for now I will concentrate on my studies and then maybe just maybe I will tell her who I am and how I feel about her", Yusuf says to Emad.
