We're now in the final act, guys. I'm gonna focus solely on the reactions of the main group till Game Over.

It was that time of the day. 

As usual, Amiya announced that they're doing another watching session for the MW universe, and anyone is free to join whether they are on time or late.

After that, she made her way to the hangout room. Along the way, the Doctor and Kal'tsit catch up to her. The two had a little chat about their day and regarding MW universe.

A few minutes later, they made it to the area and saw a good amount of operators already. The operators that had watched the MW from the past week were all here and along with new faces such as Orchid, Vanilla and Hibiscus.

Some of them were by their respective spots, each of them having a projector and a screen to not make the place too crowded. 

Amiya, Doctor, and Kal'tsit when to their usual spot by the couch on the center infront of the large TV, accompanied with Closure, Ch'en, Swire, Hoshiguma, Folinic, and Bagpipe.

"Good, you guys arrived." Closure said as the three sat down on the couch that was occupied by her and Folinic with Ch'en, Swire, Hoshiguma, and Bagpipe deciding to sit on the carpet.

"Again, personal business have to be dealt first." The Doctor responded, "But now we're free for the day."

"Might as well we finish the final act for the first part of this Modern Warfare trilogy." Kal'tsit said.

"Yeah, we're close to the story of it too. I am eager to see how it would end." Amiya replied.

"Well, knowing a lot of movies, it always ends with the good guys winning." Folinic stated.

Bagpipe then smiled. "If that is the case, I can envision Chenchen, her girlfriend, and me taking out the patriot fellow!" The last part prompted everyone around her to raise their eyebrows, with Swire snickering and Hoshiguma blushing at what she had said.

"Um, Bagpipe, she is not my girlfriend," Ch'en clarified.

"Huh, really? I thought she was," Bagpipe replied.

Hoshiguma then interjected, "No, I'm not. We're just good friends since our time working together in the LGD."

"Oh really?" Swire smirked at the Oni. "You've been thinking about her ever since she left the LGD."

"Come on, is it wrong to still remember a former comrade you liked in the agency? The one that had done a good job for it?" Hoshiguma defended.

"Okay...this is getting nowhere now." Ch'en said, turning to Amiya. "How long do we wait before starting this session?"

Amiya thought about it for a moment, "How about five minutes?"

"Sounds good. We don't have to wait that long." Closure agreed.

"Alright, 5 minutes it is." Ch'en responded with a nod. While waiting, the operators in their respective spots were having a little chat as always.

"I'm thrilled to see us all gathered here as a team!" Kroos exclaimed, referring to the A1 squad members who had joined the session.

"No problem, Kroos," giggled Hibiscus.

"Yeah, I'm happy too," Beagle replied with a smile.

Lava rolled her eyes. "Well, you won't be when this act reveals some disturbing things. Like that village massacre you told me about?"

"Oh, yeah..." Kroos's smile faded at that moment.

"It's alright. It probably won't happen again in this act," Fang assured.

"Well let's not dwell on that and instead on the part where we all would gather here for an even like a team." Hibiscus remarks, getting smiles from Fang, Beagle, and Kroos.

Lava let out a slight scoff. They're not the only reserve team to have all of their members watching anyway.

"Are you really going to let Popukar sit there?" Spot inquired, observing Orchid allowing the one-eyed cactus girl to perch on her lap.

"If it means shielding her from the messed-up stuff in this Modern Warfare trilogy, then yes." Orchid affirmed. Popukar pouted a bit, crossing her arms.

"You're being a little overprotective there, hun." Midnight teased.

"It's for her own good, and stop calling me 'hun'!" Orchid exclaimed, earning a smirk from the vampire.

"Maybe we shouldn't have brought her here..." Catapult muttered.

"Yeah, but at least we're all here together." Spot replied.

"You bring your pet slug for this session?" Franka eyed at Vanilla's originium slug she is holding on her hands whilst caressing it.

"Kuro deserves to be part of this session. He is as curious as I am about this alternate universe." Vanilla said.

"I'm not sure a slug can know all those things." Liskarm deadpanned.

"Well Kuro might!"

Liskarm sighs, "Just keep your slug on check, alright?" Vanilla obliged with a nod.

""Alright, the five minutes have passed," the Doctor announced, checking the time. "Let's get started." Amiya nodded in agreement.

However, just as she prepared to step forward and initiate her customary briefing for the operators, a voice chimed in from behind. "Hey! Don't you dare start without me!"

Almost all the operators turned to see W entering the room. Some eyed the former Reunion mercenary warily, with Adnachiel notably uneasy, hoping W would keep her distance.

Fortunately for him, W headed towards the main couch where Amiya, the Doctor, and Kal'tsit were seated.

"Oh hello, Miss W." Amiya greeted the Sarkaz. "You want to join with us in this session again?"

"Yeah, I've missed out on a lot of information Kal'tsit shared with me yesterday. I've also gotten over the nuke scene, so I might as well rejoin," W replied.

Amiya, the Doctor, and Closure turned their attention to Kal'tsit, who signaled with a simple gesture whether they should allow W to join them or not.

Amiya, known for her kindness, turned to W and said, "Alright, you can join us again."

W smiled in response before moving to the couch. Folinic reluctantly made space for her, sitting beside the Sarkaz mercenary, much to Folinic's displeasure, as she was one of the operators who found W a bit peculiar.

Nevertheless, with all the operators here, Amiya begin her short announcement as usual before going back to her couch and press the button to continue where they left off.

The screen starts and it shows the emblems of Rhodes Island and the Yanese Marine Corps in their joint operation. As they were put into their respective corners, the feed shows the ferris wheel from Chernobog.

"Hey, it's that ferris wheel again." Kroos pointed out.

"Why is it there? Are we going back to Chernobog?" Fang wondered.

"Probably not." Beagle said. 

Then the audience was presented with a picture of Patriot himself, accompanied by an audio feed below it, allowing them to hear his voice for the first time.

"Our so-called leaders prostituted us to the east...Destroyed our culture...Our economies...Our honor," Patriot proclaimed, his voice carrying a hint of disdain.

Most of the operators felt agitated of hearing the Reunion leader's voice in the universe, acknowledging of his current emotion.

"He sounds pretty angry..." Closure remarked.

"Maybe he had found out of his daughter's death." Folinic said.

Meanwhile, Hellagur feels a sense of nostalgia hearing Patriot's voice not as raspy as it is when he encountered him in Chernobog. Like in the old days in the military.

"Our blood has been spilled on our soil," he declared, and the screen then displayed Frostnova's lifeless body, blood staining the ground beneath her head.

"My blood...on their hands." He recited with an anguished voice, as the audience knows how hurt he was on the death of his adopted daughter.

Some of the operators frowned sadly of her death, those include Amiya, Blaze, Greythroat, and the Doctor. Seeing her dead on the ground brought them back to where they encountered Frostnova in the undergrounds of Lungmen two years ago.

The rest acknowledged that, due to Frostnova taking her own life, she had also framed them in a way that led Patriot to believe they were responsible for her death.

The screen switched back to the photo of the four leaders from the last mission, with Frostnova now crossed out, indicating her death.

"They are the invaders," Patriot declared as the feed then showed him and his Reunion soldiers attacking a facility occupied by the Loyalists, mercilessly eliminating all of them.

He continued, "All Yanese and Victorian forces will leave Ursus immediately...Or suffer the consequences." After he finished, the feed then revealed that the facility they were invading was a nuclear facility, with the audience seeing one of the missiles ready to be used.

Most of the audience gasped in shocked seeing the image. Knowing what a single nuke did to the Yanese marines, they could not imagine what a missile can do.

Hellagur shook his head. Even if it's only his alternate self, it feels wrong that Patriot out of all people is doing this.

After his broadcast, they hear Ch'en speaking up from a radio, "It's quite simple. Either we retake the launch facility or we won't recognize the world tomorrow." The satellite then tracks the squad somewhere by the central area in Ursus.

"Altai mountains?" Hellagur voiced out the location they were going.

"Is that a real place in Ursus?" Ch'en inquired.

"No. It's most likely a fictional place for this universe." Kal'tsit stated.

"Yeah, like Luscinia." Bagpipe chimed in.

"I'm still wondering what country is that supposed to be." Folinic said, curios of the fictional nation and wanting to know more of it.

The satellite feed shifted to capture a C-130 airship entering the airspace. "Green light to HALO. Charlie Team, go," Ch'en commanded, and the feed transitioned to the rear of the plane. Six figures leaped out of the ramp, identified as Charlie Team by the satellite tracking.

"Second drop approaching. Bravo Team, stay tight. Go," Ch'en directed, and six more figures followed suit, making up Bravo Team.

The screen then focused on Bravo Team parachuting down to their designated landing area. However, one parachute broke away from the group, descending towards a different location.

The lone paratrooper was revealed to be Hoshiguma.

"She's getting separated." Amiya said, with a hint of worry in her voice.

"Deep in enemy territory too." Kal'tsit replied. "She's going to get captured."

"But with her size and strength, they would have a hard time doing it." Doctor proclaimed, getting a smile of approval from the Oni woman.

"I appreciate your words, Doctor." Hoshiguma said, the Doctor nodding in return.

The screen zooms into Amiya's perspective as it shows her landing into the ground whilst cocking her M4A1 SOPMOD in the ready. 

"Regroup on me." Ch'en calls out to the squad as the audience sees her infront of Amiya. She walked up to her before the audience sees Bagpipe, Sesa, and Massey catching up into the middle.

"Hey, I'm part of the team." Sesa said with a smile.

"You did accompany them during the mission to take out Drudge." Vulcan pointed out. "Looks like you proved your worth."

"Given that Patriot is launching the nukes as vengeance, they're gonna need all available hands on deck." Rangers stated.

After the squad regrouped, Ch'en looked around and noticed that someone was missing. "Where's Hoshiguma?" She asked. The others realize this and looked around aswell.

"No idea, sir." Bagpipe answered.

Just then, Lee spoke up from the radio. "Bravo Six, Hoshiguma just activated her emergency transponder. She's half a klick to your southwest, over." 

"We're on our way. Bravo Six out." Ch'en replied before turning to her squad. "Let's go."

"So she did got captured." Bagpipe said.

"She might've been outnumbered then." Doctor replied.

"Well, now they're off to rescue Ch'en's girlfriend." Swire smirked.

Ch'en deadpan at her. "You're still on that?"

"What? Still true, no?" Swire shrugged with a cheeky smile aim at the Lung. Meanwhile, Hoshiguma facepalmed while hiding a blush.

The squad of five headed southwest, walking along the snowy road until they spotted an enemy vehicle up ahead.

"Contact front. Enemy vehicle," Bagpipe informed.

The vehicle came to a halt, and two Reunion occupants disembarked. However, they were swiftly neutralized, with Amiya taking down one of them.

"Tango down," Sesa confirmed.

"Move," Ch'en ordered.

As the squad proceeded, Amiya cast a glance at the fallen Reunion soldier. The audience noticed that their uniform bore a resemblance to the Yeti squad, Frostnova's own unit. The only difference from their real counterpart is that they're well-equipped with military gear while not having white hoods.

"Yeti squad." Blaze uttered. "They're Frostnova's men."

"I'm surprised they made their appearance here instead of the last mission." Greythroat remarked.

"Maybe the place from there wasn't really that cold." Meteorite assumed, consider it was sunny during that mission.

"Or Patriot was very protective of his daughter, he would want his men to guard her instead." Frostleaf said.

Passing the two lifeless bodies beside the jeep, the four Rhodes Island operators and the Yanese marine continued to walk along the path, keeping close to the trees. In the distance, they spotted an enemy patrol of a few Yeti soldiers using tactical lights.

"Enemy in sight," Massey alerted.

Amiya crouched down, taking aim at one of the hostiles. She then opened fire, prompting the others to do the same.

Ch'en quickly shot down a soldier. "He's down."

Sesa followed suit. "Goodnight."

Amiya swiftly dispatched two more soldiers, and within moments, the entire enemy patrol was neutralized. Not a single shot was fired from the enemy.

"Is this gonna be all stealth?" W inquired, ready to feel disappointed if it is.

"Well they are going to attack a nuclear facility." Closure said. "No use of stealth in that moment."

"It would likely happen after they freed Hoshiguma." Folinic replied.

"All clear." Bagpipe confirmed. The squad move up through the woods and continued on the pathway until they come across a few houses. 

"They must have Hoshiguma in one of those houses." Massey assumed, looking at the houses. The audience then saw that the road into the area was blocked by barbed wire.

"There's an entry point through that basement door." Ch'en pointed to the nearest house. "We'll go room to room from there, but let's keep it quiet. Move out."

The squad obliged as they stacked up to the only door into the house.

"What do you think they're doing to the inspector by the houses?" Barty wondered.

"Most likely interrogating her, what else?" Chard said.

"Torturing her if she keeps resisting?" Dylan chimed in.

"Hmm, yeah." The sniper operator nodded in agreement.

"They probably have not gone through that yet." Noir said. 

"Yeah, but the longer she is captured, the more likely she would be tortured." 

Ch'en then opened the door, entering first. Amiya and Bagpipe followed suit, finding themselves in the basement room with a few lockers and a single table. Fortunately, there were no hostiles.

Amiya turned left, spotting a set of stairs that led to the first floor. She followed Ch'en, ascending the stairs and entering the next room. The audience witnessed a lone Reunion soldier standing by the window.

Ch'en approached the Reunion soldier carefully from behind, taking out her knife and swiftly stabbing him in the back of the neck. She quickly tossed the gun onto the couch to avoid making any noise.

"Swift kill." Spot commented.

"I didn't like it when she did it at his neck, let alone the back of it." Catapult cringed a bit from that kill

"It's one of the only ways to instantly kill them." Spot then notices that Orchid had covered Popukar's eye when Ch'en stabbed the soldier. He chuckled at that, knowing her protective antics to Popukar.

After laying down the body, Ch'en gestured to Amiya and the rest to check the rest of the floor. Amiya inspected the dining area, while Bagpipe checked the kitchen. Amiya then noticed a set of stairs leading to the second floor.

"This floor's clear, move up to the second," Bagpipe reported after checking the kitchen and confirming the absence of hostiles.

Amiya complied, going up the stairs, followed by Massey.

Upon reaching the second floor, Amiya spotted a Reunion soldier by a room ahead sitting on a chair with his feet propped up on a box.

Amiya took aim and shot him dead. However, her action was followed by a 'Huh?' as another soldier appeared in her view. Massey, who was beside Amiya, swiftly eliminated the soldier before he could alert the others.

"Wow, that was a close one." Hibiscus remarked.

"Maybe she should've checked the other room first before killing one." Lava said.

Amiya and Massey proceeded to check the rooms, but Hoshiguma was not found in any of them.

They then stacked up outside the third room, where they heard voices within. The audience saw Massey taking out a flashbang, pulling the pin off. He opened the door lightly and threw it in.

As it exploded, he and Amiya breached through, swiftly eliminating the three Reunion soldiers inside. The hostiles were down, but there was no sign of Hoshiguma.

"Hoshi isn't here," Massey informed, the audience noting he didn't use her full name.

"Roger that, regroup on me downstairs," Ch'en ordered.

"Copy that," Massey replied with a nod before he and Amiya returned downstairs.

"Did he just call her 'Hoshi'?" Bagpipe pointed out.

"He did. Maybe he is also close to Hoshiguma." Doctor thoughted.

Amiya and Massey regrouped with Ch'en, Bagpipe, and Sesa as they stacked up at another door.

"Moving to the next house, keep it quiet," Ch'en instructed before opening the door that led out of the house. The audience noticed that the area had become brighter than it was at the start of the mission.

After exiting the house, Ch'en turned to Amiya. "Amiya, go take a look."

Amiya complied, taking point. She cautiously approached the house in front of her. Upon reaching the door, she found it locked.

She then glanced to her right and immediately spotted a Reunion soldier patrolling near the vehicles. She swiftly took him out before noticing a second soldier running toward his fallen comrade – she promptly eliminated him as well.

"The sun's coming up. We're running out of time," Ch'en remarked as Amiya followed the squad, proceeding to the third house.

"They're not checking the second house?" Jessica raised her eyebrow.

"Given it is locked, they don't need to. It's probably unoccupied, anyway." Liskarm said

"I don't know. There still might be enemies in there." Vanilla disagreed. 

"Well if there are, best to avoid them and focus on getting Hoshiguma." Franka stated.

The squad made it to the door of the third house as Ch'en opens the door. They find themselves in the living room as they all went in to check for Hoshiguma. Fortunately, they would have their confirmation.

"Where are the others?" Amiya and the rest heard a muffled voice coming from upstairs. It was followed by a familiar voice.

"Hoshiguma. 678452056."

"There's me." Hoshiguma said.

"Sounds like you're being interrogated." Ch'en remarked, still couldn't believe she got captured given her size.

"She won't be once we rescue her." Amiya said.

"By the way, what were those numbers she mentioned?" Beagle asked.

"It was probably her serial number." Dobermann answered. 

Hearing that the voice came from the second floor, the squad search for the stairs leading there. Amiya and the audience continued to listen to the conversation.

"You know, товарищ (comrade), the Geneva Convention is a nice idea in theory, no? Why don't you save yourself the trouble and simply answer my question." The Reunion soldier said.

Most of the operators and the Doctor were intrigued of the 'Geneva convention' that the soldier mentioned. Whatever it means, It must be tied in with the military in the universe, given that the Ursus soldier knows it and asking it to a Yanese.

"How many others are there?" The soldier recited. 

She decide to repeat her name and serial number. "Hoshiguma. 678-"

"Who is your commanding officer!?" The soldier demanded, sound like he is getting tired of her bullshit.

Hoshiguma responded with a chuckle. "It's gonna get real busy here soon. And hey, if I was you, I'd get my ass out of here." 

The squad found the stairs leading to the second floor as they all went up. Ch'en, Bagpipe, and Amiya stacked up to the only closed door of the floor, which they assume that Hoshiguma is in the room.

"Looks like this is the place. Get ready to breach." Ch'en said. As they readied themselves, Amiya heard the interrogator talking to another soldier.

"Yura! Where's the hacksaw?" The interrogator asked.

""I thought you had it." Yura said.

"If I had the hacksaw, I wouldn't ask you, idiot!"

As they were bickering, Bagpipe put a breaching charge on to the door handle. Getting back to cover, she ignited it as the door explodes.

"Go go go!" Ch'en said. She and Amiya went in and killed two of the Reunion soldiers inside. They turned left as the audience sees Hoshiguma sitting on a box with her hands tied behind her back.

Hoshiguma glanced to them with a smile. "About damn time...I was starting to think you guys were gonna leave me behind."

"That was my first thought, but your arse had all the C4." Ch'en replied.

"Are you really gonna leave me behind when you get that chance?" Hoshiguma asks her.

"Well, looking at you, you'd be able to free yourself just fine." Ch'en responds.

The Oni let out a chuckle at that, "Fair point."

"Amiya, cut her loose, move." She instructed the cautus in which she obliged and goes up behind the Oni. Amiya pulls out a knife and then cutting off her binds, allowing her to get up and move her arms and head freely.

"You all right?" Ch'en asked as Hoshiguma goes to pick up her T75 LMG on a table.

"Yeah, I'm good to go." She responded with a nod. 

Ch'en nodded back before she goes out of the room. Amiya was about to follow suit when she sees  Hoshiguma stopping by to Massey and give the fellow Yanese marine a manly handshake while exchanging smiles. The two looked to be glad they reunited.

"Huh, he looks pretty glad to see you again." Closure observed Massey's expression.

"I guess you and that guy are friends in this universe." Ch'en remarked.

"Or he could be your boyfriend." Swire replied.

Hoshiguma let out a sigh, "Please stop..." while hiding another blush.

After that moment, the three followed Ch'en down the stairs and out of the house. Bagpipe and Sesa were already outside. 

As Amiya made it out of the house, the door from the third house suddenly burst open. A few Reunion soldiers come out of the structures

The squad opened fired to the enemy soldiers with Hoshiguma gunning them down with her LMG. Amiya took aim at one of the men and killed him, with Massey taking out another. The last soldier was then killed by Hoshiguma.

"Looks like there were hostiles in the third house." Liskarm acknowledged her false speculation.

"They must've heard the explosion from the house they were in." Amiya said.

"They are pretty loud after all." W replied, tossing her detonator upwards.

After neutralizing the hostiles, the six-man squad continued their advance towards the grid tower adjacent to the houses, following Ch'en's directive, "We need to knock out that tower so the advance teams can breach the electrified perimeter."

The squad navigated past imposing tall fences, steadily approaching the prominent red and white power grid up ahead. Suddenly, helicopters were heard reaching their position.

"Enemy helicopters." Bagpipe call out as the Amiya and the rest of the squad go prone into the grass. Amiya then sees two MI-8 Helicopters above before they flew past the area, allowing her and the squad to stand back up.

Continuing to the power grid, Ch'en went to her radio, "Charlie Six, what's your status over?"

"Team two in position at the perimeter. Waiting on you to kill the power, over." A familiar voice replied, that being Yato.

"Looks like I'm part of Charlie six." Yato said.

"And that would mean I would be aswell." Noir replied.

"We did saw six people in Charlie team dropping down from the plane." Barty recalled. "Two of those could be me and Chard."

"I can see that." Chard nodded in agreement.

"Who would be the other two, though?" Dylan inquired.

"I don't know, maybe two other Yanese marines." Noir speculated.

"Roger. Amiya, plant the charges. Go."

Amiya moved under the power grid and headed towards the first front leg of the tower, placing a C4 bomb. Oddly, there was a folding chair in the middle of the floor. Nevertheless, she proceeded to the second front leg of the tower, placing another C4 there as well.

"Charges set. Everyone get clear!" Hoshiguma declared as she and the others backed away from the tower, reaching a safer position.

Ch'en turned to Amiya and said, "Amiya, do it." The Cautus girl obliged and ignited the C4 bombs.

The audience then witnessed the two explosions causing the power grid tower to fall forward as the power lines began to spark. It stopped for a moment before the lines snapped, and the tower tumbled off the cliff with a resounding thud.

"Now that...that was cool." W smirked, enjoying every moment of it. It also helps that Amiya was the one that destroyed the structure.

"This means the Reunion forces won't have any power." Doctor said.

"Unless they have a backup." Kal'tsit replied. "They aren't dumb enough to rely on one power source."

"Still, that was pretty amazing." Sesa remarked, seeing the tower collapse like that.

"Too loud, though." Ansel said, covering his ears from that explosion.

After destroying the tower, the team head over to the fence by the edge of the cliff, overlooking the nuclear silo. "Charlie Six, the tower's down and the power's out. Twenty seconds till backup power." Ch'en informed.

"Roger. We're breaching the perimeter. Standby." Yato answered.

After a few moments, Hoshiguma said, "Backup power in ten seconds..."

"Standby..." 

"Five seconds..."

Another few seconds passed, Yato responded, "Ok, we're through. Bravo Six, we'll wait for you at the rally point. Out."

"Roger Team Two, we're on our way. Out." Ch'en said. It was then followed by the sound of the alarm coming from the base.

"Safe to say, they now know we're here." Greythroat said.

"Well, then that means we're up for a fight." Blaze replied.

Amiya followed the team as they headed over to the tall fence. "Get that fence open," Ch'en ordered.

Bagpipe could be seen taking out a can of spray to weaken the fence. She then created a decent-sized hole from one side to the other.

The vouivre began to pull the fence off with all her strength, but it resulted in her getting hit by the fence and knocked down to the ground.

Bagpipe watched the scene with a surprised look and a blush of embarrassment, while Ch'en and a few other operators let out slight laughs at her minor misfortune.

"Why did that have to happen to me??" Bagpipe exclaimed.

"Maybe just for a funny scene." Ch'en remarked with a smirk on her face while Hoshiguma and Swire let out a chuckle aswell

"Her strength was just too great for her." Sesa said.

"Totally." Blaze replied.

After that embarrassing moment, Bagpipe gestured to the squad to go through, prompting Ch'en to say, "Move."

They moved through the hole and proceeded onward to the treelines, heading toward an enemy base. Just then, Amiya saw helicopters flying overhead, though she and the rest of the squad didn't go prone to hide.

"Why aren't they hiding? They're gonna get caught." Jessica inquired.

"There's not point in it when the alarm has activated." Franka said.

"They're gonna go guns blazin'." Cardigan proclaimed.

"Well, probably not, but they would be going loud." Steward said.

"Enemy helicopters." Bagpipe said.

"Gonna get real busy around here." Hoshiguma remarked. The squad then head on over to a torn down wall of the base, allowing an opening for them.

"They should hire a better construction worker." Spot remarked. 

"Yeah, one with lots of concrete." Catapult agreed with a chuckle.

Hearing what the two said, Doctor wondered, "Would it be cool if we have an operator that is a construction worker?"

"Probably." Kal'tsit shrugged. "But it depends if any worker wants to join or collaborate with us with their company.

"Bagpipe, take Amiya and the rest and scout through this base," Ch'en instructed the Vouivre. "Hoshiguma and I will look for an alternate route."

Obliging, Bagpipe hopped over the large hole in the wall, with Amiya, Sesa, and Massey following her.

Inside the base, Amiya saw two weapon crates with a small assortment of weapons and equipment. On one crate, there was an SVD sniper rifle and a couple of flashbangs, while the second crate had an M1014 Shotgun, a couple of grenades, and an M249 SAW machine gun.

"Those are some nice weapons." Dur-Nar said, "She can use some of those."

"I don't think she'd be capable of holding a machine gun." Dobermann argued, getting a nod from Amiya when she heard it.

"Well when you're storming a base, you need good firepower." Noir stated.

Amiya decided to switch her USP pistol with the M1014 shotgun, thinking it would be useful for their attack at the facility. After that, she followed the three towards the second building and entered through the back door, in which the building seems to be some sort of garage.

The place was quiet for a moment before Sesa spoke up, "Contact - west of us."

In cue, Amiya saw several Reunion soldiers from the building ahead. The soldiers, having a combined appearance of Guerillas and Yetis, pour out from the building and begin to fire at the squad.

 Amiya took cover by some barrels before firing back at the hostiles with her SOPMOD. She saw a few more enemies firing at her by the windows. Amiya then equips her M203 then fired a grenade at the windows, which exploded and killed about two soldiers.

"I think she should've picked that sniper rifle." Kroos voiced her thoughts.

"I agree." Fang nodded, "From her current position, a sniper would be vital taking the enemies out."

"Eh, not that fun than using explosives to kill your enemies from afar." Sesa argued. "Look, even my guy is doing it."

Seeing what Amiya did, Sesa used his own M203 and fired at two more enemies by an abandoned BMP, killing them. The squad then decide to push forward while exchanging fire at the Reunion soldiers

"Enemy RPGs on the rooftops!" Massey exclaimed.

Amiya saw two Yeti soldiers by the roof of another building - wielding their RPGs. She quickly dispatched the two before they even fired.

Suddenly, an RPG flew above Massey and almost hitting him, prompting Amiya to shift her attention on her right to the front entrance of the building and saw another Yeti soldier with an RPG, in which she took him down.

"Wow, that was close for him." Hoshiguma said, relieved that he didn't get killed.

Swire smirks, "You really are worried for-" She was then cut off when Ch'en used her hand to cover the feline's mouth, the latter then swiped it away. "Hey, what was that for??" She inquired with an angry tone.

"To stop you for saying that boyfriend/girlfriend crap again. Cut it out." Ch'en demanded.

Swire rolled her eyes, "Fine."

Amiya went back on firing at the hostiles by the main area of the base. The audience then hears the sound of a helicopter approaching. 

"Heads up! Chopper inbound!" Sesa informed.

"They're dropping in troops!" Bagpipe said as she sees the MI-8 hovering on their position letting out ropes to drop their soldiers.

Seeing this, Amiya quickly head over to the dead Yeti with the RPG. She picked it up and then fired at the Heli. The aircraft went up in flames before descending and crashing elsewhere.

"Deploying from a chopper in a middle of a fight sure is a death sentence." Dylan said, the others nodding in agreement.

With the Helicopter dealt with, Amiya dropped the RPG and continue assisting her squad from the incoming squads of Guerillas and Yetis. 

Amiya load up another M203 round before firing at a group of hostiles by the boxes. She then threw a flashbang and manage to blind a few of them, allowing the rest of the squad to kill them.

After about a few moments of shooting, all the enemies were killed. "Area clear." Bagpipe said as they proceed onward in the base. 

They approached the building where the two RPG wielders were. 

Bagpipe and Sesa stack up to the entrance with the latter going in first and Amiya followed suit. The building leads them to another section of the base where the road is filled with broken down cars.

The squad were met with squads of Guerilla and Yeti soldiers. They open fire at them while using the building as cover. Though Amiya and Sesa decide to go out and took cover by an broken down BMP.

"Would be better to take cover by the building." Kal'tsit said.

"Yeah, the BMP seems a little risky." Amiya nodded, not understanding why her alternate self got out of the cover of the building.

"Probably more space to use their explosives." Closure assumed.

Amiya then got out of cover and fired another round at the Reunion soldiers running by the road, managing to eliminate only one of them.

Just then, they heard another sound of a helicopter as Amiya glanced upwards to see an MI-8 dropping off its soldiers. Witnessing this, Amiya and Sesa quickly retreated back to the building as the helicopter successfully deployed eight soldiers into the fight.

"Damn there are a lot of bad guys." Noir commented. 

"Where the hell is Ch'en and Hoshiguma?" Chard wondered. 

"Probably still finding that alternate path." Barty said.

Before reentering the building, Amiya strategically positioned a claymore near the BMP to thwart any enemies attempting to breach. Her anticipation paid off as the explosion echoed, signaling the demise of an unsuspecting soldier.

Amiya then head towards the windows and shoot at the enemies from there. She then saw one soldier heading to the entrance but was stopped by Massey when he hit the soldier with the butt of his gun, then threw him to the floor and shooting him dead.

"Frag out!" Sesa declared, throwing a grenade from his position. He and Bagpipe decide to switch positions, the latter then joined by Amiya after she killed two more hostiles from her spot.

Locking eyes with Cautus, Bagpipe commanded, "Cover me!" The vouivre boldly exited the building, Amiya providing suppressive fire as Bagpipe reached the BMP. Simultaneously, Amiya spotted a lone Guerilla on the watchtower and swiftly neutralized the threat.

The remaining Reunion soldiers were then by the repair area of the base. Amiya unload another M203 grenade into the spot and killing the soldiers there. The squad sees a lone Yeti soldier running out of the structure before getting killed by Massey.

"All clear." The Yanese said.

"Still impressive seeing a group of 4 taking out platoons of soldiers." Hellagur remarked.

"We are more experienced in this universe after all." Amiya stated.

"And the Reunion fellas are less experienced." Blaze chimed in.

The squad then head over to the building and went an alternate path by going to the the back entrance, leading to the third section of the base, having three parked BMPs

They had to engage another platoon of hostiles - a few appeared by the roofs. Amiya saw two Guerilla soldiers by a roof of the nearest building, killing them both with only a few shots.

"Heads up! Watch for those RPGs on the rooftops!" Sesa called out as Amiya turned to the farther building and saw two more Guerillas with RPGs. 

Quickly, Amiya uses her M203 and launched a grenade to the air conditioner of the roof which exploded on impact and killing the two RPG wielders. 

After dealing with the two, Amiya turned to the Guerillas and Yetis on the ground. A few of them took cover by the parked BMPs, having Amiya to use her grenade and threw it to that position.

The soldiers had to run out of cover only to get gunned down by Bagpipe and Massey. Amiya then heard barking as she sees two hounds coming out of the first building. They weren't that much of a threat as Amiya quickly gunned them down.

Vanilla looked at it in shock, which Franka took notice of it. "What's wrong?"

"She just...killed those dogs..." 

"She had no other choice." Spot said. "It's either her or them."

"You know with everyone using guns and be able to spray fire, dogs aren't that much of a threat here." Adnachiel remarked.

"They can still be when they're not out of the open." Ansel argued.

"Yeah like an alleyway or in a tight room." Beagle added.

"Well, I still feel bad for the pooches." Melantha said with a slight frown, Vanilla nodding in agreement.

"I say Reunion is at fault for using them to attack." Ethan proclaimed

As the fighting progressed, Amiya pushed through and took cover from the BMP, getting a closer reach on the enemies. Seeing that some of them were close to her, Amiya took out her M1014 and blasted the soldiers with just a few shots.

After a few moments in the shootout, the squad took out all the soldiers in the section. They went through the buildings and proceed right to where the exit gate was.

Just then, two trucks showed up from the road and begin to drop in more soldiers.

"Oh great, there had to be more." Catapult frowned.

"Eh, they can take them easily." Spot shrugged.

"Because they're the main characters." Popukar chimed in, causing Spot and Catapult to chuckle while Orchid raised her eyebrow.

"What does that mean?" She asks to Midnight.

"Plot armor." Midnight said, leaving her more confused.

Suddenly, the front truck of the convoy exploded after it got hit by a rocket - leaving the audience surprised. It was followed by machine gun fire as it gunned down the remaining soldiers by the first truck.

"It's Inspector Hoshiguma." Hibiscus pointed out.

"How can you tell?" Lava asked.

"She is the only one using a machine gun." Fang answered.

"Oh...right."

Amiya and the rest took position and deal with the rest of the enemy soldiers by the second truck. She fired her M1014 and took out three Guerilla soldiers that were unfortunate enough to be close to her range.

Massey and Sesa went to the other side of the trucks to flank the enemies while Amiya continued forward. She took out a Yeti soldier as the rest were then killed by the two guys.

After dealing with the hostiles, Amiya and the squad turned around and saw Ch'en and Hoshiguma catching up to them.

"About time you two showed up." Swire said.

"Hey, atleast I took care of the guys in the first truck." Ch'en replied.

"Pretty sure that was me." Hoshiguma interjected, rebutting her claim that she was the one who fired the rocket. Ch'en gave the oni a frown.

"It doesn't really matter who fired the rocket. The important thing is we're now together." Bagpipe stated.

The squad, now reunited again, proceed onward to the path leading to the nuclear base. They passed by broken down cars along with a destroyed BMP as the alarm was heard all the way from the base.

When they further went to the path - a voice spoke up, "Bravo Six, this is Sniper Team Two. We're coming out of the treeline to the south." 

Amiya then saw movement by the treeline and had aimed her gun. "Hold your fire, it's one of the Yanese sniper teams." Ch'en ordered, indicating that they're not enemies. Amiya lowered her gun as two Yanese soldiers walked out of the treeline wearing ghillie suits covered in snow.

"It's just like when Ch'en is with Kal'tsit in Chernobog." Doctor said while looking at the ghillie suits 

"It really is." Amiya nodded.

"I guess snipers really do tend to use those kind of suits in this universe." Hellagur observed.

"It's an effective camouflage uniform, I say." Rangers remarked.

"Do you still plan on getting one of those?" Meteorite asked to Firewatch.

She gave her a nod, "Yeah. They'll be pretty useful for future missions. What about you?"

"Eh, probably." Meteorite thoughted.

The two Yanese snipers approached Ch'en as one of them said, "Good to see you guys made it. We'll give you sniper cover once you're inside the perime-" Suddenly, they were interrupted by the blast. "What the hell is that?"

"Uhh we got a problem here!" Hoshiguma exclaimed

They all turned to the source as the sky went bright for a moment. When it dimmed, the audience were then shocked to see a nuclear missile launching from the facility.

"Oh no! A nuke!" Kroos shouted.

"They're already launching?!" Bagpipe exclaimed.

"D-Does that mean they are too late to stop it?" Popukar asked in a very worried tone, looking towards her team members.

"I'm sure they can find a way to stop it," Orchid assured, patting her head to ease her worries.

"How are they gonna stop it, though?" Meteor asked.

"Maybe they can deactivate them." Closure speculated.

Seeing the nuclear launch, the squad break to a run towards the facility while Ch'en goes to her radio. "Delta One X-Ray, we have a missile launch, I repeat we have a missile-"

She was interrupted when another missile was launched from the facility.

"There's another one!" Hoshiguma said in shock. The audience were also shocked seeing two nuclear missiles being launched.

"Two nukes?! You gotta be kidding me!" Blaze exclaimed.

"This is getting worse!" Catapult shouted, while Popukar got even more worried.

"It really is worse..." W uttered, imagining the destruction it would cause - and this is coming from her.

Ch'en quickly clarify her response, "Delta One X-Ray - we have two missiles in the air over!"

Lee answered her call, "Uh...roger Bravo Six, our satellites are tracking them now. Get your team inside the facility and retake the launch control center. We're working with the Loyalists on getting the abort codes at this time. Out."

"Roger that!" The squad rushed forward until they made it to the gate entrance towards the launch facility. 

"It's on now, captain!" Hoshiguma proclaimed, getting a nod from her as they took out their C4s and placed it on the gate. 

After that the screen fade out to black, ending the mission.

"Things just got suspenseful..." Ethan uttered.

"Yeah, no kidding," Blaze said. "You have two nuclear missiles launching into the air, about to destroy cities and kill millions!"

"Where will the missiles even go?" Meteorite asked.

"Considering what Patriot said, the missiles will most likely head towards Yan or Victoria," Kal'tsit stated.

"Or worse - both." Doctor added, eliciting worried reactions, especially those born from the two nations.

"Lee did mention they are obtaining the launch codes, which means it's possible to deactivate the two nuclear missiles before they reach their targets," Closure said.

"Then it means there's a chance to stop them." Ch'en affirmed, getting some hopeful smiles from the operators.

"They gotta storm the launch facility first to stop it." Noir said.

"And after that, we're stopping that Patriot guy!" Bagpipe declared.

"This gonna be one intense act, I can tell." Closure remarked. 

"I have the same feeling too." Amiya nodded before pressing the button and on to the next mission.

And that is it for the first mission of the last act of COD 4. Three missions away till the end. 

The next chapters before the final mission would all be focused on the Rhodes Island bit because i feel like adding story stuff in those missions would be a little unnecessary.

By the way, the new MW3 campaign sucks ass. Doesn't even feel like a campaign. It's too short, there was too many open combat missions, and Soap's death felt disgraceful. Not to mention that the game was supposed to be a MW2 DLC.

If anyone asks me to do a reboot version of this reaction, I'm gonna say right now - HELL NO! 

Anyways, that's about my rant for MW3. Next up, we're gonna see how many casualties the two missiles would project. And also the Yeti soldiers would make another appearance.
