Death From Above
The screen begins with the satellite immediately zooming out to the map of Southern Ursus. It did not show the Rhodes Island emblem however, confusing the audience a bit.
Then a small square tracked something as a small video feed then showed up on the left side, showing a large aircraft with two wings. An inscription was written beneath it.
It reads "AC-130 Spectre"
"Woah, that's the AC-130?!" Dylan said in amazement of the size and the design.
"Dang, it looks pretty big." Blaze commented.
"Are those two long rods at the side supposed to be the wings?" Greythroat asked. "Why though?"
"Maybe so that it would balance the aircraft." Vulcan said.
"Spectre, ey? The name is almost like Specter." Doctor pointed out of the name beside the AC-130.
Closure let out a chuckle. "Wonder how that crazy shark would react to this?"
The screen then zooms in to the feed as it was showing one of the guns of the aircraft. The first one are look to be two gatling guns. It was then scanned as the audience saw many inscriptions of the weapon along with the name.
25mm Gatling Gun
GA12
Rate of Fire: 1800 RPM
It then shifted to another weapon which looked pretty bigger than the gatling guns while having a longer barrel. It was too scanned by the satellite, revealing the name.
40mm Bofors Cannon
L60
Rate of Fire: 100 RPM
The satellite shifted yet again to the final weapon of the AC-130. It was the largest weapon of the aircraft with a pretty long barrel than the L60 as the body was visible outside of the aicraft. It was then scanned aswell.
105mm M102 Cannon
M102
Rate of Fire: 10 RPM
The screen shifts to the left side of the AC-130 before the camera pans to the interior and to a TV screen before it blacks out.
Sesa let out an amusing whistle. "Now those were some deadly weapons." He said about the three weapons of the AC-130.
"Well i did use them against the Reunion forces back there." Liskarm said, observing the weapons.
"I am liking that M102." W said with a smile.
"Well the design of that aircraft got my interest." Dylan said with a few operators agreeing with him. He then thought of flying it, just so he could experience it.
"It's intriguing of how Columbia has access to it." Dobermann said.
"Yeah, i thought for sure Yan would be the one to acquire something like that." Hoshiguma uttered. "With an aircraft like that, Columbia could be as strong as Yan in this universe."
"Eh, no way." Swire disagreed. "Sure Columbia has those techs, but Yan has a lot of forces. They did almost conquered Drudge's nation in about a day after it's invasion. As far as i can see, Yan has a better military than Columbia.
"I guess." Hoshi shrugged.
"I think Ursus takes that cake." Hellagur said. "There's a possibility that their military is as strong as in real life."
"Doubt it." Swire said.
The audience could hear the sounds of engine before the screen was put into the perspective of the TV operator of the AC-130. Since it is night time, the screen was put to a thermal black and white screen. It also contains lots of numbers and words, but at the center it contains the crosshair for the weapons.
Currently, the TV operator was looking down on the forest where it could then see eight blinking figures moving on to the main road. The audience could already tell that they were Ch'en and the rest of the squad.
Ch'en then spoke up from the radio. "Warhammer, we're moving up the road towards the town to the east. Confirm you have a visual on us."
"Got eyes on friendlies." The TV operator said while moving the crosshair to the squad. It was then when the audience noticed that the voice was from Franka.
"Hey, that was me!" Franka said with a smile.
"So looks like we're both helping the squad with the AC-130." Liskarm pointed out. "Now will Vanilla and Jessica be here too?"
"They have to. Blacksteel can't function without it's members."
"True."
" Crew, do not fire on any targets marked by a strobe, those are friendlies." The FCO said, which was Liskarm.
The AC-130 begin to fly over to the town where as Ch'en and her squad make a left to one of the roads into the town. Just as the AC-130 hovers above the town, another familiar voice spoke up.
"Uh, TV, confirm you see the church in the town." The Navigator of the AC130 spoke up to Franka. The operators recognize that voice, mostly from the two Blacksteel girls and Dobermann.
"Was that Jessica?" Dobermann questioned.
"It is." Liskarm confirmed with a nod.
"Sweet." Franka said with a smile, knowing that the two won't be the only Blacksteel ops in the AC-130. "Now all that's left is Vanilla. Wonder what position she is?"
Doing what she said, Franka moved the TV camera in to the middle of the town as she then saw a church that Jessica was talking about. Though unlike the ones from the real Terra, the church does not have the Laterano emblem outside of it.
"We see it. Start the clock." Franka confirmed as the screen was looking directly at the Church.
"Roger that we're there, start talking." Liskarm said aswell.
"You are not authorized to level the church. Do not fire directly on the church." Jessica informed.
"I wonder why?" W asked.
"Maybe they want to use it as cover?" Amiya said.
"Or they don't want to destroy it because it's like a holy site or something." Blaze chimed in.
"That or it may contain civilians." Closure said.
As Franka was observing the surroundings of the church, she saw a lone car moving up to the road beside the church. She then spoke up. "Got a vehicle moving now."
"One of the vehicles is moving right now." Liskarm informed.
Franka focused on the vehicle that made it to the front of the church before making a stop a few feet away. When she shifted the camera back to the church, she could see several armed hostiles coming out of the structure.
"Personnel coming out of the church." Franka informed.
"Huh, so the Church does not contain civilians." Closure said.
"Well if that's the case, why not just blow it up and kill the enemies from the inside?" W suggested, getting some agreements.
"A church is still a religious site. Destroying it would be considered a crime." Adnachiel argued.
Sesa shrugged. "Eh, a building is a building to me. If i was the one controlling the screen, i would fire at it immediately like what most players would do too."
"Most players?" Amiya raised an eyebrow. "I don't think they would do such a thing."
"I agree. It is not like they would fire at the church immediately when they were told to not shoot at it. I'm sure they respect the structure." Kal'tsit said.
"We have armed personnel approaching from the church, request permission to engage." Liskarm said.
Then another familiar voice replied, and it was from Vanilla - acting as the pilot of the plane. "Copy. You are cleared to engage the moving vehicle, and any personnel around you see."
"Okay, it seems like all of us are present." Liskarm stated.
"That is awesome." Franka let out a satisfied smile seeing that all of her team are helping the Rhodes Islanders. Then a thought came up to her mind. "Say, i wonder what role Blacksteel would play?"
"What?" Liskarm raised an eyebrow to her.
"What i mean is, what role the Blacksteel Worldwide organization would play in this Modern warfare universe?" Franka explained.
"Well you guys are PMC, correct?" Steward said, which both the vulpo and vouivre nodded. "Maybe it is the same like in this universe. Acting like a PMC."
"That seems correct, but would they be part of the good guys though?" Franka queried
"You four are helping Ch'en and her squad to get out of Ursus, so it is obvious that your organization will be part of the good guys in this universe." Blaze answered.
"That makes sense." Liskarm acknowledged.
"Affirmative. Crew you are cleared to engage but do not fire on the church." Liskarm informed.
Some of the audience were eager to see how the weapons would perform in an overview look. Franka then aimed the 105m cannon to a group of enemies that were going into a house.
She then fired the weapon as the shell then exploded the entire house, whilst killing the enemies that were in it or near it.
"That is such an explosion." Sesa smiled.
"Hah, agreed. They didn't know what hit em'." W replied.
"Ka-boom." Liskarm simply said after the explosion. Franka then switched to the 40mm and fired at the truck.
The truck was destoryed as Franka quickly switched to the 25mm minigun and starts to mow down the nearby infantrymen.
Meanwhile Ch'en's squad stay put behind some fences near a house as they were seen engaging the hostiles that are firing at them.
"More enemy personnel. Enemies crossing the field." Liskarm informed as Franka turn the camera to one of the farm fields. There she could see a dozen enemies moving in, a huge mistake.
Seeing that they're spread out, Franka switches to the 105mm and fired at the group of hostiles. The shell exploded as the audience could see the bodies flying away like ragdolls.
"Ooh, that's gonna leave a mark." Franka said.
"That was funny though." Spot chuckled.
"They are getting destroyed." Blaze remarked, seeing the Reunion forces getting decimated that easily by the AC-130.
"We're really lucky the Columbians on our side." Bagpipe said.
"If it was the Yanese, it would be the same thing." Hoshiguma chimed in.
"You got em'!" Liskarm commented at those kills.
Franka continued to raise hell upon the Reunion forces underground. She saw a few of them taking cover by a house near Ch'en's squad. Since the 105mm was still reloading, she switched to the 40mm and fired a few shots at the house.
The shots destroyed the house along with the enemies in it. "Okay, you got em'. Get back on the other guys." Liskarm said.
Franka switched to the 25mm and took out any of the nearby hostiles that were heading towards Ch'en and the squad. Meanwhile the AC-130 is making a turn, checking for any hostiles that was out of their range.
"Clean up that signal." Vanilla said as she saw about three hostiles hiding behind the graveyard of the church.
Not wanting the risk of destroying the building, Franka took them out with the 25mm, doing minimal damage to the area.
"Good kill good kill." Liskarm said.
"It's a bit unnerving how calm they are as they're decimating those forces." Catapult said.
"Agreed." Midnight replied.
"I think it's because they seem pretty safe in that aircraft." Dylan said.
"I'm surprised none of the enemies thought of shooting it down." Chard joined in.
"I think it's because the AC-130 is blended in with the night sky." Greythroat answered.
The AC-130 is once again making another turn from the battlefield to get a better angle. The audience could now see the backside of the church as more enemies were seen moving out of it.
"There's armed personnel running out of the church." Liskarm informed as Franka could see them engaging the squad.
"Just destroy the church." W simply said. "It would make things easier."
"No they shouldn't." Adnachiel argued. "It is still an important structure."
"Yeah, i kinda agree." Blaze said. "I don't know why, but destroying a church seems...wrong."
Hellagur nodded. "Best to leave them be."
"Eh, i don't agree." W crossed her arms.
"Recalibrate azimuth sweep angle. Adjust elevation scan." Vanilla said as the AC-130 is flying closer to the church again. "Rollin in'."
"Get back on those guys." Liskarm pointed to the group of hostiles that are beside another house.
Switching to the 105mm, Franka fired at the house as it exploded whilst launching the enemies into the air.
"Hot damn!" Franka exclaimed at the sight.
"Yeah direct hits right there." Liskarm replied.
"Hot damn, indeed." Sesa smiled in agreement.
"You know, i do wish we get to see what is happening from below." Closure said.
"I can already tell by the amount of destruction the AC-130 is causing." Doctor replied.
"Hope they don't go too overboard." Liskarm said, thinking of all the repairs the civilians are gonna do to the town once the war is over.
Franka could see Ch'en's squadron making a move to the church as they are engaging with the remaining hostiles that the AC-130 had missed. They weren't a big deal since the squad were well-trained than the Reunion forces.
Ch'en then spoke up. "Warhammer, this is Bravo-Six, be advised, we're passing a large church and continuing towards the main highway! Keep up the fire! Bravo-Six out."
"Roger that. Engage anything without a flashing strobe light. Those are all hostiles." Vanilla replied and reminded the crew.
The plane was seen moving up to the other side of the town where two large farm fields were shown. On those fields, more Reunion forces were approaching to the town either on foot or by vehicles.
Franka focused on the infantry that were near one of the houses. Switching to her 40mm, she took all of them out with no problem. Though there were still some survivors, she switches to the 25mm and finished them off.
One of them was seen trying to crawl away, but Franka ended his misery by firing a shot at him.
"I know there are the enemy, but i kinda feel bad for them." Kroos said.
"What do you mean?" Lava asked.
"Well they are facing up against an unstoppable force in which they have no way of taking it down, while it continues to kill all of their comrades easily." Kroos explained.
"Sometimes that's just how it is in the battlefield, Bunny kid." Franka stated.
"And there are no rules on using an overpowered weapon against your enemies." W followed.
Kroos sadly frowned at that but acknowledged and nodded anyway.
Franka shifted to the car that was crossing to the field. She tried to take it down with the 105mm cannon, but the car went so fast it dodged the shot, destroying some haystacks instead.
Seeing this, she switch to the 40mm and fire two shots at it. When she shot the car, it somehow created a big explosion that is almost equivalent to what the 105mm did.
"Shit, must've been a full tank of gas." Liskarm commented.
Franka switched to the 105mm and focus her aim on a few stragglers by the second field below the AC-130. She fired and killed all of them.
Though when Franka zoomed in with the 25mm, most of the audience were shocked to see some of the corpses were missing their limbs as they were seen on the ground feets away with its blood dripping out.
"Eugh!" Chard recoiled in disgust. "Disgusting."
"I have seen a fair share of people missing their limbs, but this is still a shock to see." Bagpipe said.
"Oh god, one of them is missing three of their limbs." Spot pointed out while covering Popukar's eye.
"I wanna see." Popukar said.
"Best if you don't, dear." Midnight assured with Catapult nodding in agreement.
"Heh, this is nothing." W spoke up with a smile. She had blown a lot of people before until they either lost their limbs or even almost disintegrated.
"Easy for you to say." Amiya muttered, still cringing at the sight.
"Nail those guys by the building." Liskarm pointed out to the lone house near the road. Obliging, Franka destroyed it with the 105mm.
She then set to the 40mm and took care of the hostiles by the field. One of the shots manage to rip an arm off from an unfortunate enemy.
Most of the audience winced at it as Vanilla then said. "Ooo, that's gotta hurt."
"Ya think?" Sesa remarked.
"I could not imagine the pain of losing your limb." Folinic said.
"Well, if you're still alive you can feel it." Kal'tsit said.
The AC-130 circled around the field while taking care of the enemies crossing on them. Franka saw about six of them near the haystacks. Switching to the 105mm, she fired and succesfully killed four of them as the other two were recoiled back.
"You gonna get him?" Liskarm asked to the two remaining enemies. She didn't need to ask that as Franka switch to the 25mm and mow them down.
After dealing with the rest of the enemies, including the ones that tried to retreat, the field was silent for a few moments until Vanilla spoke up.
"We got a moving vehicle here." Franka shifted the camera to the main road where she saw two vehicles moving by. She was about to fire at it before Liskarm interjected.
"Negative negative. Do not engage, I repeat, do not engage any vehicles on the main highway." She informed.
The operators were confused of this.
"Why?" Beehunter spoke up first.
"Maybe those are civilians." Hoshiguma said. "There is no other reason than that if they don't want to fire at the trucks."
Franka shifted the camera to Ch'en's squad as she spoke up. "Warhammer, we're going to commandeer civilian transports on the main highway. Cover us!" She said.
"Crew, do not engage any vehicles on the highway, those are civilians." Obliging what Liskarm said, Franka looked around the area of the road to see if there are any hostiles about.
Luckily it seems that they had already kill them all, which allow the squad to head over to the road infront of the Civilian vehicles and stopping them.
Franka zoomed in with the 25mm as she is seeing Ch'en and her squad pointing their guns to the occupants inside of the vehicles.
One of them, which looked to be Amiya, went to the driver's seat. She opened the door and forcefully drag the driver out of his vehicle.
"Why is she doing that?" Closure frowned at Amiya's action.
"Maybe the driver resisted, which forces them to use drastic actions." Doctor thoughted.
"Still, it seems wrong to threaten civilians like that." Amiya said, not liking of how her alternate self is doing to the civilian.
Seeing what Amiya did to the first driver, the second driver quickly obliged and got out of the truck.
All while that is happening, Liskarm informed to the AC130 crew. "Ground units are acquiring alternate transport at this time. Do not engage any vehicles on the highway unless cleared to do so."
As Franka was observing the squad hijacking the vehicles, she let out a laugh. "I bet that guy's pissed. That's a nice truck."
Liskarm followed with a chuckle. "Nah, hehe, he's scared shitless."
Both Franka and Liskarm paused at that. The former spoke up. "Okay, i might be a bit cruel sometimes, but I'm not that cruel."
"Neither am I. I don't know why my alternate self found that amusing." Liskarm said.
The two drivers then bolted out of the scene as the squad was seen putting the IR Beacons on the cars. "Warhammer, we're marking the vehicles! Confirm you see the beacons." Ch'en said.
Liskarm asserted. "Roger, we see the beacons. Crew, do not fire on the vehicles with the marked with the flashing beacons. I repeat, do NOT fire on the vehicles with the flashing beacons, those are friendlies."
"Well atleast the squad has a faster way to reach the LZ." Cardigan said.
"Yeah, but they're gonna way more vulnerable in those trucks." Vulcan responded. "A stray rocket could kill all of them in the vehicle."
"Not unless the AC130 kills them first." Closure chimed.
Jessica then spoke up. "Heads up. Hostile forces are setting up ambush points along the curved road."
"Uh, Navigation, which one's the curved road over?" Liskarm asked.
"Fire control, do you see the water tower, over?" Jessica asked back.
"TV, confirm you see the water tower."
Franka then moved the camera in search of the water tower, which she then shifted to the one that was near the road of where the squad is.
"Are you talking about the uh, water tower near the intersection?" Franka questioned.
"Roger, that's the one." Jessica asserted. "And next to that water tower is a curved road, do you see that?"
Franka moved the camera to the road up front which was curved just like she said.
"Roger that." The vouivre responded.
"Track that road into the next village. You, uh- should be able see another water tower in the village further down that road."
"Uh, we're having trouble acquiring the village. How far up the road is it?" Liskarm asked.
"Approximately...uh, hang on...It's about 2 klicks along the curved road, going away from the highway." Jessica clarified.
"Eh, roger that." Franka said.
"We're banking towards the village. Standby to engage ground targets." Vanilla said as the AC130 was moving in to the next village over. Franka then focuses on the jeeps as they too were making their way to the village along the curved road.
"I have a feeling that the Reunion forces are gonna try and ambush them." Steward said.
"Consider they had lost about a platoon, they're definitely going to. Them being in vehicles doesn't help." Blaze observed.
"Hope the AC130 crew are quick enough." Ch'en said.
"They got the bird's eye view. They'll know where the enemies are before they even get the chance to strike back." Swire stated.
And just what Steward thought, Franka could see several hostiles by the side of the road with their weapons ready, preparing for an ambush.
"We got hostiles setting up along the curved road." Franka informed.
"Hostiles preparing to ambush along the curved road. They're partially concealed by the trees." Liskarm stated.
Just then one of the hostiles fired an RPG to the jeeps, thankfully it missed.
"That was a close one." Hellagur said.
"Either the RPG is hard to shoot or those guys have horrible aim." Absinthe followed.
"Whoa, someone just fired an RPG!" Franka exclaimed.
"Roger that. Crew, go ahead and take out everything in that village." Liskarm instructed.
Franka obliged and immediately went to the 40mm and pinpointed to the hostiles at the woods, taking them out one by one.
"Targets in the village are confirmed as hostile. Cleared to engage. Smoke 'em." Vanilla informed.
More trails of smoke were heading towards the jeeps, possibly from the RPGs. Either luck is on their side or the enemies were that shit at aiming since the jeeps were unscathed from those rockets.
Nevertheless, the squad were still under attack. "Warhammer, we're under attack. We could use some help here!" Ch'en shouted.
"Crew, track those smoke trails and take 'em out at the source. Clear a path for our guys." Liskarm said.
Franka did just that as she was following the smoke trail on where the RPG Wielders were. Turns out that most of them were gathered in the roof of a U-shaped building.
"Personnel on the roof of that U-shaped building." She said.
"Uh, U-shaped building?" Liskarm asked.
"Roger, it's the one with the square structure on the roof. It's the one with a flat roof."
"Nail those guys." Franka obliged and switched to the 105mm. She fired to the U-shaped building as it decimated the entire structure, killing all enemies.
Sesa let out another amusing whistle. "Total destruction."
"I almost feel bad for the people inside of that building." Barty said.
"Don't." Yato interjected.
"What? I said almost."
"These weapons just keep getting stronger and bigger." Rangers uttered.
"Yeah, what's next? A weapon that could blow up a whole town?" Noir corne remarked.
After destroying the building, the two jeeps were crossing the village as Franka was using the 25mm to eliminate any hostiles near the jeeps.
"Armored vehicle right there! Right there, coming out of the barn." Liskarm exclaimed as Franka turned the tv screen to the barn where she could see two BMPs coming out of it. One of them was about to fire at the jeeps.
Quickly, she switched to the 40mm and fired atleast six shots which destroyed them both.
"That was close." Amiya sighed in relief.
"It's a good thing they didn't have those bigger tanks." Closure said.
As the BMPs were taken care of, Franka switched to the 25mm and took care of the stragglers. She then kept an eye on the two jeeps as they continued on to the road.
Franka move the camera up a bit as she saw that they're heading towards the junkyard of this area. It was filled with many cars and a few buildings that could store in a good amount of enemies.
Ch'en spoke up yet again. "Warhammer, we're approaching the LZ at the junkyard and leaving the vehicles."
"Roger that Bravo-Six." Liskarm replied before notifying the rest. "Crew, friendlies are leaving the vehicles and moving on foot towards the LZ. Do not fire on any personnel marked by a flashing strobe. Keep watching for those strobe lights. Those are friendlies."
"So this is their final destination, huh?" Swire asked.
"She did say this is where the LZ supposed to be." Ch'en said.
Franka was observing the empty junkyard as she could then see several hostiles coming out of the building and heading towards the squad.
"Enemy personnel in the junkyard." Franka informed.
"Crew, go ahead and smoke em'." Liskarm instructed.
Franka fired the enemies that were near the containers infront of the squad with the 40mm. All of them were decimated.
"Man these guys are goin' to town!" Liskarm exclaimed, seeing the bodies flying like ragdolls.
"Or going to their graves." Greythroat said.
"If they're high enough, then they might reach the clouds." Blaze snickered.
"Is it that possible?" Catapult asked.
"Eh, prolly not."
More enemies were approaching to the center of the junkyard by the tower crane. Seeing this, Franka switched to the 105mm and fired at the group of hostiles, eliminating all of them.
"There's a guy by that car." Liskarm informed as Franka switched to the 25mm and saw a surviving enemy trying to run away. Unfortunately for him, the 25mm bullets fired by Franka reached to his torso, killing him.
Even more hostiles were seen coming out of the building. Franka took them out with the 40mm. Bodies were flying everywhere with some of their limbs torn off, much to most of the audience's displeasure.
"Good kill. I see lots of pieces down there." Liskarm said.
"Reunion must've lost hundreds of their forces by now." Folinic said.
"Yet they're still coming up in numbers." Doctor acknowledged.
"They must've recruited a lot of people to fight against the Loyalists." Kal'tsit said.
When the area was clear, Ch'en and her squad make a move into the junkyard and heading towards the LZ. A few surviving enemies appeared, but they were quickly dealt with by the squad.
"Warhammer, we've reached the LZ, but we're taking fire from all sides! Request fire support on all sides of the LZ, danger close!" Ch'en said.
"Enemy personnel closing in on the LZ from multiple sides. Danger close. Recommend you stick to the 25 millimeter in the vicinity of the LZ." Jessica instructed.
"Roger." Franka switched to the 25mm and shifted the camera to the LZ. There she saw two trucks heading out of the field as the occupants disembarked the vehicles.
She used the 25mm and started spraying against the enemies and the vehicles, destroying the latter completely.
After taking care of those batch of hostiles, Franka looked around for more to kill. Suddenly a smoke stream coming from an RPG appeared as the unseen Vulpo could see the rocket explode on a crate which knocked back one of the squad members.
"Oh no! Are they okay?" Kroos asked, worringly.
Fang looked closer and saw that the squad member was still moving. "Yep, they're still alive, albeit injured.."
The injured squad member was then helped up to his feet by another squad member, bringing an arm over their neck as they both continued on to the LZ.
"Wonder who's the injured one?" Dylan asked.
"Probably Chard." Noir claimed.
"What makes you think that's me?" Chard cut in, feeling offended at the oni's claim.
"Just a guess. But you do tend to be unfocused on the battlefield. Thinking about your ex-wife?" Noir questioned with a smirk hidden beneath that mask.
"I'll have you know that i do not always think about her." Chard addressed. "Besides, Barty sometimes messes up too."
"Hey, don't bring me into this!" Barty exclaimed.
All while that's happening, Rangers - who had been sitting beside them, let out a sigh. "Youngsters these days..."
Franka quickly took care of the RPG wielder and focus back on the squad. There were still some survivng enemies six o'clock of their position, firing back at em'.
Franka took care of them all with the 40mm. Since they weren't close to the LZ, it is safe to use the bigger guns.
"Crew, be advised, friendly helicopters entering the area. Watch your fire." Liskarm informed.
"Copy." Franka replied as she shifted the camera to the open field and saw two CH-47 Chinook helicopters. The Chinooks were seen landing to the field, waiting to pick up the squad.
"Warhammer, we're moving towards the helicopters now. Thanks for the assist. Bravo-Six out." Ch'en said as she and her squad were heading to the helicopters in split groups.
Six of them went to the first Chinook, while two of them went to the other one. One of them of the latter is definitely Folinic since they were planning on sending her to a safehouse in Wolumonde.
"Hehe, this is gonna be one helluva highlight reel." Liskarm said.
"I heard that!" Franka replied in agreement.
The squad finally made it in to the choppers as the rest of the soldiers that were deployed to cover them went in aswell.
"Crew, VIP is secure and in custody. Good job, everyone." Jessica said.
"Roger that. Returning to base."
The audience could see the two Chinooks flying away out of the junkyard along with the AC-130. And with that the screen went black.

"I think this is my favorite mission so far." W said with a satisfied smile.
"All those explosions were pretty satisfying to see." Sesa agreed with the Sarkaz.
"Not the part where we saw their limbs torn off..." Folinic said, still wincing at that.
"I cannot imagine being alive while you lost three of your limbs, leaving you with only your right arm." Spot uttered.
"You know, that could be a good concept for a horror game." Catapult said as she explains the concept. "Trapped in a facility filled with dangerous monsters as you have to shoot your way out while only having one working arm to use for moving around and shooting the monsters."
"That does sound neat." Cardigan agreed.
"I would really like to fly one of those." Dylan said.
"Doubt you could do it. Besides, it looks pretty big than the 'bad guy'." Barty replied.
"Hey, a pilot's gotta try."
"So does this mean that we won't appear?" Franka asked.
"I'm afraid so. But hopefully we would be back." Liskarm said.
"Yeah, and i can't wait to see Blacksteel's role in this universe. I want to see them fighting alongside the main characters."
"It's crazy how Columbia had that much power in one of their aircrafts." Closure spoke up. "I thought Yan seems strong in this universe, but i guess not."
"Yan is still the strongest by the looks of it." Swire stated. "They still have lots of forces that are in disposal to take out Drudge's nation. And like in real life, they definitely have a bigger population than Columbia."
"Columbia seems have the quality though." Ch'en said.
"So does Yan." Hoshiguma chimed in. "Infact, they pretty much have both in quality and quantity in this universe."
"Why are you guys saying that you want to see a war between Yan and Columbia?" Bagpipe asked.
"No, we're not." Swire clarified. "We're just saying which nation is the strongest in this alternate universe. I'm still standing that it is Yan."
"I still think it is Ursus." Hellagur intervened. "They were the nation with the strongest military in history, so it may work in this modern warfare universe too."
"Ursus also has like 15,000 of those 'Nukes' of what MW Bagpipe said during the first mission. They could put them to good use." Beehunter chimed in.
"We still don't know what those Nukes are supposed to be." Yato called out to them.
Noir Corne nodded in agreement with his leader. "Yeah. Those nukes might turn out to be just a type of regular missile that won't do much to a nation."
"It would still do good damage." Rangers said.
"Well let's go on to the next scene." Doctor spoke up, feeling a bit eager to see how this goes.
"Already on it, Doktah." Amiya replied, grabbing the remote.
"I wonder what scene is going to focus on?" Kal'tsit asked.
"Maybe Lin and the Marines. Rhodes island did manage to escape from Ursus. So who else that we would focus on?" Ch'en answered.
Swire smiled. "Back in action. I think we're one step closer to take out Drudge."
"I am pretty eager how these Yanese Marines would do." Blaze remarked.
"Hope it goes smoothly." Amiya said as the next scene begins

Somewhere in a cafe of a small town in Sargon, a man was sitting in one of the patios. After having a good meal and a drink, he leaned on his chair and relaxed.
The man wore a black uniform while wearing a kevlar vest. He also wore a black balaclava and a black cap that covers his hair and face. His attire would cause anyone to mistake him as some sort of mercenary.
His cap and balaclava is accompanied with a futuristic black shades with blue lenses and a purple-ish streak on it that covers his eyes. Speaking of futuristic, the man also has a dark blue and white wristband on his right arm, which acts as some sort of mini computer.
To him, this is one of the advanced stuff he has access to than the ones he had observed in this world called 'Terra'. Though it was still interesting how this civilization is a mix of advanced and primitive.
Right now, he was still waiting for Nian to arrive. Days ago, she agreed they would meet up in Sargon and yet the man has not seen any sign of her. While waiting, he ordered the rest of his guys to return to him after they've done with their task, which were delivering the tapes to the targets.
He was in this world for that particular reason.
The man then heard footsteps coming towards him as he turned to see one of his guys that he sent out.
He was wearing a black uniform that is equivalent of a Wehrmacht soldier from Wolfenstein the old blood, except he did not wear a mask nor does he have the nazi armband and the SS mark.
The man smiled under his balaclava as he said. "Ah, Feerzo. You're back. I assume you did your task?"
Feerzo nodded. "Jawohl. The package has been sent as you have requested." He said with a slight German accent.
The man nodded in approval. "Good work. You can now return." He starts tinkering at his wristband computer before turning back to Feerzo as the latter was turning blue.
He was then dissolved to a blue streak of light as it then traverse into the wristband, assimilating him. The screen of the wristband light up a bit before fading out.
With a sigh, the man leaned back to the chair and kept waiting for Nian or his other guys to return. Mostly the former, since he is itching to explore the rest of this world.

I have to admit, this is probably the most boring mission i ever have to write. Mostly because you're confined to the plane and did not get to see all the action up close.
But anyways, that does it for Death From Above. We still have two more missions before we reached the scene that you all are anticipated to see.
I'm gonna say it now that this is the last time where Columbia and its forces assisted the characters for this part of the game. Like i said they'll play a more prominent role for the two future games.
Hope you like that sneak peek of the person that is responsible for all of this. Don't worry, he's gonna appear more in the future chapters and i will reveal more about him. (Like his name and his origin, etc)
See you in "War Pig".
