All Ghillied Up

The screen begins to the next mission, however it did not start with the Rhodes Island emblem, rather it showed the previous location in Northern Kazimierz from the last mission

Amiya
22nd Rhodes Island Regiment

Northern Kazimierz
Village of Dewville

The satellite starts moving eastwards to the deeper lands of Ursus. It then reaches the location as the satellite suddenly changes to that of an old map.

"Woah, now that's surprising." Blaze commented.

"But why the change though?" Greythroat wondered.

"Maybe it's a flashback mission?" Amiya questioned

The map then shows a few territories and cities from the black dots, including a large name that says "LUSCINIA" with a seal of a two headed bird below it.

"Luscinia? That's intriguing." Hellagur said.

"Judging by the map, Luscinia seems to be a country that borders Ursus." Rangers observed.

"I never heard of Luscinia before though, let alone it being a country." Beehunter remarked.

"Maybe it's for the alternate MW world." Folinic claimed.

The satellite then moves to a city that says "Chernobog" as the following inscriptions appear, getting some surprised reactions.

Lt. Hui-chieh
22nd Rhodes Island Regiment

Chernobog, Luscinia

"So it is a flashback mission." Kal'tsit spoke up.

"You've quick to assume that." Doctor replied.

"It is already obvious." She stated. "From the old map, to a foreign country we've never heard of, to the fact that Ch'en is a lieutenant in this and how it says '12 years ago'."

"Speaking of which, does this mean that it's gonna focus on my perspective?" Ch'en asked.

"I think so." Hoshiguma assumed.

"Heh, this is gonna be interesting." Swire smirked.

"Well, Chernobog being the setting of this mission had piqued me." Hellagur said.

"Knowing that this is an alternate world, something might've happened in this place." Amiya wondered that thought.

Either a riot erupted from a Reunion-like faction that went haywire until the city fell or it is an old and abandoned war-torned city that couldn't settle in humans anymore.

A photo appeared on the map that showcased an abandoned looking city in black and white.

"I was just a Leftenant back then..." Ch'en spoke up as the map shifts to four more photos that resembles a factory. "...doing some wet work."

"Leftenant?" Ethan raised an eyebrow.

"Oh it's just how we Victorians pronounce 'Lieutenant'." Bagpipe stated.

"I kinda dig that name." Kroos said. "It rolls out of the tongue more."

The screen then shows a series of pictures in a slideshow. The first picture showed the same factory from those four pictures. The exterior didn't look pretty stable, infact it looked torn down.

"Chernobog. Christmas for the bad guys." Ch'en stated.

"That's concerning." Hoshiguma said.

"Wonder what she mean by that?" Swire queried

The slideshow then shows some broken computers inside the facility. "Even a decade later, lot of them still used it to get their hands on nuclear material." Ch'en says as the screen shows the third picture which is a triangular sign that has the nuclear insignia in it.

A lot of the operators shivered at the words 'Nuclear material', knowing the damage it had done to Drudge's city and to the marines, destroying and killing everything in its path.

"Wait, does that mean Chernobog has stored a lot of those nuclear missiles?" Meteorite asked.

"It seems like it..." Sesa said, putting a hand under his jaw.

"A lot of them... including one, Buldrokkas'tee." Ch'en finished as the screen then shows a picture of the said Wendigo with his left arm missing.

"He do looks different in this universe." Hellagur observed his appearance.

"Even his height too." Amiya added.

"But he still wears that helmet." Doctor pointed out.

"Of course we couldn't just let that happen. Cash for spent fuel rods? That's one hell of a recipe for destruction." Ch'en stated with a chuckle.

"I agree, especially if these nuclear materials fell into the wrong hands like Drudge." Blaze stated.

"It was the first time our government had authorized an assassination order since the Second Global War..." As she said that, six more photos appeared that shows the interior of the factory along with the workers.

Then the photo of Buldrokkas'tee was changed. This time he had both of his arms, indicating that this was him in the past.

While the audience were intrigued at some of the topics, Ch'en then mentions her CO. "I was under the command of Captain Kal'tsit."

The screen then fades to black

"Captain Kal'tsit? Hey, that's you!" Closure exclaimed to Kal'tsit who was interpreting what MW Ch'en had mentioned.

"I'm her commanding officer in this universe?" Kal'tsit raised an eyebrow.

"Looks like it." Amiya said with a smile.

"That's...interesting." Ch'en replied.

"And it seems you aren't a doctor in this universe." Doctor added.

"So she's gonna go out there while going guns blazing?" Folinic queried. "That's gonna look weird."

"Well your alternate self also did the same thing you said, and you're a doctor." Bagpipe pointed out.

"Fair point."

"By the way, did Ch'en just said something about a 'Second Global War'?" Dur-Nar asked with a hint of concern.  Most of the operators were also concerned about it.

Global means the entire world, which means that there was a war in the MW universe that involves the whole world to be roped into the conflict. And given the fact she said 'second', means that it happened twice.

"She did, and it concerns me..." Dobermann replied.

"Whatever that war is, it seems that Victoria was part of it." Blaze remarked.

"It is called a 'global' war after all. So of course a lot of the countries would take part of it." Greythroat stated

"I guess that includes countries like Ursus, Sargon or Yan." Rangers said.

"And maybe even Rim Billiton." Kroos added.

"Possibly Bolivar too." Beagle continued.

"I'm willing to learn more about this war." Hellagur said, greatly interested of this global war in the alternate MW world.

"But judging by the name of that war, I think the casualties are going to be real messy..." Closure replied with a frown.

"Especially when the world commonly uses firearms and has those nuclear bombs." Doctor stated. They can already imagine that the casualties are going to be really high.

Looking back at the screen, an inscription appeared that says "12 years ago."

The screen then shows on Ch'en's perspective. She was currently crouching down on a grassy field. The audience could see a nearby shack in front while a tower from the nuclear facility was seen in the distant.

All and all, the setting already felt uneasy to them.

"This feels...unsettling." Ansel said.

"Yeah, not sure why." Spot replied.

Ch'en then takes out her M21 sniper rifle, the same sniper that Amiya used in Blackout. The only difference is that Ch'en seems to be wearing something with grass on it, judging by her wrist.

Then a familiar female voice spoke up. "Too much radiation. We have to go around."

"And there's you, Doctor Kal'tsit." Amiya smiled.

"Or should I say Captain Kal'tsit." Doctor chuckled, but stopped when the Lynx narrowed her eyes to them.

"But where is she?" Closure pointed out. "We heard her, but we can't see her."

After Closure said that, the audience could see a figure rising up from the ground, that figure being Kal'tsit. Her attire was completely covered in grass from head to toe. The audience could not even see her distinct feline features.

"Ah, there she is." Closure said.

"What's with that get up though?" Folinic asked on why her mentor is wearing a uniform that is covered in grass.

"Camouflage." Firewatch spoke up. "It seems that she and Ch'en are using those suits to blend in with the environment in a possibly hostile territory."

"And it's proven to be effective. We didn't even see her before she stood up." Meteorite chimed in.

"And that means...this mission is gonna focus on stealth." Noir corne remarked, which causes Firewatch and Greythroat to smile.

"Finally, a stealth mission." The grey haired Liberi said. "Let's see how it goes."

Ethan snickered. "If I was there, I won't even need that suit."

Kal'tsit turned her head towards Ch'en, revealing her green eyes and fair skin while she bears a balaclava. "Follow me, and keep low." She said, gesturing at the Lung girl to move.

She obliged as she stood up and followed the feline. "Careful...there's pockets of radiation all over this area." Kal'tsit informed. "If you absorb too much, you're a dead man."

"Radiation always doesn't sound good." Frostleaf said.

"But why are there pockets of them around the grassy field?" Meteor asked.

"Probably something to do with nuclear material." Vulcan claimed.

The two then walked towards the shack ahead of them. "Stand by." Kal'tsit said, stopping at the front of the shack. Moments later, the two went in and head out to the next field.

There they saw two enemy soldiers patrolling ahead. They have the same guerilla aesthetic from Reunion.

"Contact. Enemy patrol dead ahead." Kal'tsit observed. "Stay low and move slowly, we'll be impossible to spot in our ghillie suits."

"Ghillie suits, huh? So that's the name of that outfit." Ch'en noted.

"Wonder what it means though?" Swire asked.

"I don't know, but it seems fitting." Hoshiguma said.

"And it looks like Reunion are also in this city." Fang remarked.

"You might be right. But since this was 12 years ago, and Reunion emerged in the civil war as a faction, I don't think these guys are 'Reunion', not just yet." Dobermann stated.

"If they are not Reunion, then what should we call them?" Kroos asked.

"Guerillas." Hellagur answered. "They still look like the ones in Reunion."

Kal'tsit and Ch'en prone down to the ground and started crawling towards the two-man patrol. Thanks to the ghillie suits, they didn't spot them.

As they were crawling, Ch'en could hear the two talking to eachother.

"Hey, Sergei! Why are we wandering around this area?" One of them asked to his friend, Sergei.

"We're not wandering, we're patrolling, idiot." Sergei replied.

Meanwhile Ch'en stopped crawling as she got a clear view of the two soldiers. Sergei seems to be one on the left, carrying a G3 rifle.

The soldier asked again. "Why are we patrolling, then? There is no one here for 120 kilometers. It's a waste land!"

That seems to pique everyone's interest. It seems that Chernobog is some sort of 'waste land' in the MW universe.

"Listen! Buldrokkas'tee is paying us good money to patrol this territory." Sergei asserted. "If you knew what was good for you, you'd shut up. And if he's paranoid, then that's his business."

"So these guys are mercenaries?" Meteor asked.

"Looks like it." Frostleaf answered with a nod. "Mercenaries usually talk about payment and stuff."

"And it seems that Patriot hired a lot of them for his business in this city." Kal'tsit stated.

"Guess stealth seems to be only option since Ch'en and Kal'tsit are alone." Blaze said.

"Take one out when the other's not looking." Kal'tsit ordered.

Ch'en obliged and kept her focus on Sergei, who was walking away from the soldier, far enough that they are not looking at eachother.

Ch'en focused her aim as she fired a shot to his head. Good thing she used a suppressor, which allowed her to kill him quietly.

After killing Sergei, Ch'en sees Kal'tsit killing the other soldier to the head. "Good night. Move."

"Nice shot, Doctor Kal'tsit." Amiya complimented.

"Oh. Uh, thanks." Kal'tsit replied.

"You should totally try using a firearm sometime." Closure suggested.

"These ghillie suits are pretty effective." Hellagur commented at their performance.

"Like i said, old man." Meteorite replied.

"Speaking of which, some of Patriot's forces back in Chernobog had those get up aswell." Ch'en said. "But it didn't really help them by a lot."

"You know this reminds me at that time when Blacksteel thought of making uniforms that would help the soldier to blend in with the environment." Franka chimed in.

Ch'en and Kal'tsit stood up and head towards another shack.

"Hold up." Kal'tsit abruptly said, stopping by the entrance. "There's more cover if we go around." With that, the two women went left and moved around the shack towards the house.

The Feline stopped by the window and took a glance inside. "Four tangos inside. Don't even think about it..."

Ch'en took a peek and sees three Guerillas by the table playing some cards and one of them standing by the door, while a dog was sleeping peacefully on a couch. Speaking of which, one of the guerillas was also sleeping at the chair while in the middle of their card game.

"Someone's in his beauty sleep." Noir chuckled at the sleeper.

Ch'en and Kal'tsit move up to a corner, the latter peeking around it. "Wait there. Tango heading to the car." She informed.

Ch'en peeked aswell as she sees the fourth Guerilla soldier walking out of the house and towards the broken down car. "Take him out quietly or just let him pass. Your call."

Of course, Ch'en chose the former as she aimed her rifle to the Guerilla. She waited until he was by the car before shooting him to the head.

"Ok - go!" Both of them walk out of the corner and head towards the car.

However, Ch'en stopped by the doorway, hoping that the rest of the guerillas didn't see the dead body, which fortunately they didn't. She then listened to another conversation.

"Hey, Yuri! Don't sleep, it's your turn. Anatoly raised the bet by two dollars." One of them said.

"Too expensive for me. I'll pass." The soldier named 'Yuri' replied.

"Too expensive?" Anatoly cut in. "Buldrokkas'tee pays us twice for this work! Easy money, there is no danger, no chance of a shootout. Who would even come here? This is a nuclear disaster zone! You'd rather die of cancer here than from a bullet."

"Wait...did he said 'nuclear disaster zone'?" Bagpipe said.

"Does that mean that Chernobog also got hit by a nuke?" Swire asked as she shuddered at the thought.

"I think so..." Ch'en said.

"But how come the city is still habitable if it got hit by a nuclear explosion?" Blaze asked. "Does it wear off for a while?"

"Maybe so?" Greythroat replied before sighing. "I wish someone could at least explain to us about all of this."

Some of the operators nodded in agreement. Surely Nian or whoever knows about these nuclear stuff out there could explain it to them.

Ch'en turned back to Kal'tsit as she was already by the fence, waiting the entire time. "Move up!" Kal'tsit urged her to hurry up.

The two then vault over the fence towards their next location, that being a church. Kal'tsit then stopped infront of a tree. "Don't move. We've got a lookout in the church tower, and a patrol coming from the north."

Ch'en crouch down and aim her rifle at the square tower where she sees a lone guard.

"Let's move up for a better view." Kal'tsit said. They move up cautiously to another tree as they then lay back down. "Do you have a shot on the lookout?" The feline asked.

Ch'en aim back at the tower and got a clear view of the guard. Waiting for the right moment, Ch'en hold her breath to focus her aim. When the guard was in her crosshairs, she shot him dead.

"You really are a good sniper." Hoshiguma commented.

"Well I have use that water gun back in Dossoles before. It's no different." Ch'en said.

"Yeah, but that was more of a short ranged weapon." Swire clarified. "Still, you kicked some ass with that gun."

"Nice shot, Leftenant, but we still got a patrol coming from the north." Kal'tsit informed as Ch'en shift her aim north. She sees a lone guerilla beside a blue car, looking bored.

"Take him out quietly or just let him pass. Your call."

Ch'en chose the former again. She waited until the guerilla walk way from the car. When he did, Ch'en shoot him clean to the head.

"They are like hunters in this." Meteor commented.

"And that makes the Guerillas their prey." Frostleaf chimed in, which the Kuranta nodded in agreement.

"Tango down. Go." Kal'tsit and Ch'en move up to the car, then they head towards the door of the church. Kal'tsit slowly opens the door as they head inside.

The interior hasn't seen better days. Vines were growing out of the walls, the seats were scattered around, and the walls were crumbling. It was abandoned after all.

There were also a few stinger missiles near a window, but Ch'en didn't pay too much mind of it and walked along.

"This is what an abandoned church looks like?" Franka said. "Looks creepy."

"The setting of this mission already feels creepy." Spot remarked.

"Yeah, it's like they're in a ghost town." Steward added.

"That Anatoly guy did say that this was a 'nuclear disaster zone'." Catapult recalled.

"Though those are some nice stingers." Sesa pointed out.

"I don't think they'll be that useful since this is a stealth mission." Greythroat reminded.

Kal'tsit and Ch'en move up to the exit door, which had no door in it. "The coast is clear." She said after peeking out.

The two then move out of the church into an abandoned cemetery. As they proceed, the faint sound of helicopter blades was heard, which the Cautus operators took notice of it.

"You hear that?" Kal'tsit said.

"What is it?" Doctor asked.

"A helicopter." Amiya answered.

"Oh, that's gonna be a problem." Closure said.

"Unless they hide from it." Bagpipe replied.

They stopped by the stone fence as Kal'tsit turned around. "Enemy helicopter, get down!" She pointed before diving down for cover. Ch'en immediately followed suit.

They crouch down behind the stone fence as Ch'en look up to see a large enemy helicopter flying overhead. "Stay in the shadows..." Kal'tsit said. Thankfully, it didn't see them as it continue to fly away from their position.

"They have access to helicopters? They don't seem like simple mercenaries anymore." Sesa said.

"What makes you say that?" Vulcan asked.

"C'mon Vulcs, since when there are mercenary groups that have access to aircrafts? The closest thing are drones, but they're small and automated." He explained.

"Well to that defense, the nations of Terra hadn't even made aircrafts like ours." Amiya pointed out.

"You're right, but still. These guys are probably in cahoots with the military or maybe those Luscinians."

"I'm still wondering what Luscinia even is." Yato chimed in.

"To put it simply, It's a fictional country of this universe." Noir answered. "Probably allied to Ursus."

"Let's go." Kal'tsit said as she and Ch'en rose up and continued on to their location. They move up to the field while passing by an old road. The audience could see smoke rising far ahead.

"They're heading towards an enemy camp." Blaze said.

"I can see that." Greythroat replied.

Vaulting over a white pipe, they continued on to another large open field. Suddenly, faint sounds of engines were heard, which prompted Kal'tsit to shout, "Get down, now!"

"Wait, why?" Beagle asked.

"There's an incoming convoy." Kroos answered, hearing the engines with her ears.

Kal'tsit dive down to the ground as Ch'en followed suit, laying down beside the feline on her left. Then the audience notice the change of the music from a calm tone to a tense one.

https://youtu.be/2YqYOPdTCXU

"That doesn't sound good..." Jessica said.

"No shit." Dur-Nar replied.

"There's gonna be a lot of them is there?" Steward asked.

"It's a convoy, so yeah." Spot responded.

Kal'tsit and Ch'en crawled forward for a few moments until they could see several Guerillas walking to the field. Seeing the hostiles prompted Ch'en to pull out her suppressed USP 45 incase they get caught, but Kal'tsit quickly assures her.

"Easy, Ch'en...There's too many of them, let them go. Keep a low profile and hold your fire. Try to anticipate their paths."

The two slowed their pace as the audience could see more Guerillas along with some BMPs with them.

"They got armored vehicles aswell?!" Sesa exclaimed. "What's next, Tanks?"

"Consider they have a helicopter, it is most likely there's gonna be tanks" Dobermann responded.

"And Patriot manage to acquire them for his business?" Hellagur queried.

"He must be rich or something." Beehunter said.

"Or most of these mercenaries are followers of his ideals, while also being ex-military." Frostleaf chimed in.

More Guerillas begin to show up, all are armed to the teeth. They begin to walk close to where Ch'en and Kal'tsit are. One of the BMPs was dangerously close to Ch'en until she hears it's engines.

"If you have to maneuver, do it slow and steady, no quick movements." Kal'tsit suggests.

The two went completely still as they let the Guerillas and BMPs move past them. Ch'en also switch back to her sniper rifle so that it blends in with the grass. The field is now crawling with dozens of the guerillas, all unaware of the presence of the two Victorians.

"So many enemies in one place..." Kroos shivered in worry of them getting caught.

"It's a good thing they haven't spotted them thanks to those ghillie suits." Fang said.

"Those silly grass costumes sure is beneficial for this." Ethan replied.

"You know what, since Liskarm isn't here, I think i'm gonna list these things." Franka spoke up while taking out a small notebook and a pen.

"You carried those around?" Blaze raised an eyebrow to her.

"Just in case, like right now." Franka replied as she starts writing.

Ch'en kept eyeing on the nearby Guerillas if they ever went close to her, good thing that most of them were distracting themselves by either looking around or playing with their guns.

One of the Guerillas was reading a book. He was too distracted on reading it that the gun he was carrying with his other hand was dropped near where Ch'en was.

The lung girl kept still, eyeing the gun. The Guerilla noticed and went to pick it up, unknown to him that he was inches away from stepping on Ch'en. She had to cease her breathing until the Guerilla walked away.

When he did, Ch'en exhaled in relief, so did some of the audience that were watching that tense scene.

"That was close..." Ch'en said in relief that her alternate self didn't get caught.

"Very very close." Bagpipe remarked.

"Luckily those ghillie suits helped." Firewatch said, putting a finger on her chin. "Maybe I should make one myself."

Ch'en and Kal'tsit kept waiting until all of the Guerillas were out of their sight. After a long minute or two, there were no more Guerillas ahead.

"Okay, let's move. Nice and slow." Kal'tsit said.

She and Ch'en starts to crawl forward, away from the convoy behind them and to make sure none of the Guerillas look behind and see them.

After a minute, the two slowly stood up. Ch'en looked back to the convoy and is relieved that no one saw them as they're now far away from them.

"Follow me." Ch'en followed Kal'tsit as the two then approached a junkyard, which where the source of the smoke was. The audience could see about four dormant helicopters, the same type of helicopters that was flying above the church before.

They were the MI-24 Gunship, or Hind for short. It has similarities with the MI-28, but they have a more large and bulky appearance. That's because the MI-24 is a transport gunship, able to carry a squad of soldiers inside.

"Hey, i think we saw those helicopters before during the third mission." Noir corne pointed out, remembering that weird looking helicopter during the coup.

"You're right. They look pretty large." Yato said.

"I guess that's because they can also carry troops in while having lots of guns." Catapult claimed.

"Looks promising." Rangers states. "But it's large size would make it a pretty easy target against incoming anti-air missiles. And the fact that it carries troops inside would be a huge blow for infantry casualties."

"But I have to say, it looks intimidating." Sesa commented.

"I agree." Vulcan nodded. "Ursus in this universe sure knows how to make intimidating aircrafts."

"You should see how an emperor's blade acts in the battlefield." Hellagur said.

He had seen their capabilities when they were deployed to quell rebellions or fighting against the demons of the north, not to mention they use their fragments which makes up their terrifying appearance.

Ch'en and Kal'tsit head over to one of the abandoned BMPs. They look up and saw four more Guerillas by a lake. The audience then notices two of them by the truck, throwing a bunch of dead bodies into the lake.

Ch'en observed the bodies with her sniper rifle. What got the audience's attention is that they did not look like Guerilla soldiers.

The dead bodies wore olive green uniforms while sporting various headgears like berets, earpieces, caps, and ski masks.

(A/N: To put it simply, they look like the ultranationalists in Cod MWR)

"Now who are those guys?" Doctor asked, inspecting the dead bodies. "They don't seem like the Guerillas." .

"Maybe they're other mercenaries that Patriot hired." Amiya thoughted.

"Looks like they've already eliminated the men they couldn't buy out. Let's move up for a better view." Kal'tsit said.

"Well, there's your answer." Bagpipe said.

"You know, they might aswell be the Luscinians." Closure claimed.

"They have different uniforms after all, and almost all of them looks to be Liberis." Kal'tsit observed. She knows that most of the Reunion soldiers in the universe were predominantly Ursus, same goes in real life with the country itself.

"So Luscinia is a Liberi dominant country that borders Ursus? Better keep that in mind." Hellagur noted.

"I'm guessing those Luscinians wanted to get their hands on nuclear materials aswell?" Dobermann said.

"Sure looks like it. And judging what alternate Kal'tsit just said, they must be collaborating with Patriot and the Guerillas." Dur-nar stated.

Ch'en and Kal'tsit move up to an abandoned bulldozer as the former hears another conversation from the two Guerillas by the lake.

"Wow, it's heavy!" One of them said after they threw another dead Luscinian to the pile.

"Hey, when will Andrei bring food?" His partner asked.

"I don't know, but I hope sooner than later." He then sighed. "I haven't eaten anything since breakfast..."

"Let's do it right now!" His partner suggests. "The corpses are beginning to deflate, anyway."

Though the soldier let out a scoff. "Fool...It would be better to agree to Buldrokkas'tee's proposal." They continue to threw the bodies to the lake while the other two Guerillas patrol the junkyard.

"Taking 'em out without alerting the rest isn't going to be easy...but then again, neither is sneaking past them. Your call." Kal'tsit said.

"Bet she's gonna choose to kill em all again." Swire said.

"And what makes you say that?" Ch'en asked.

"Hey, you didn't spare those two guys when Kal gave you the chance to let them pass."

"So you're saying I don't give mercy?" Ch'en questioned with a frown.

Swire then smiled smugly. "Maybe so."

And like Swire thought, MW Ch'en chose to take them out. Crouching down behind the bulldozer, she took aim at the patrolling guerillas.

She waited until they were far away from the other two guerillas by the lake. When they pass by the red container, Ch'en aimed at the one by the back.

She shot him to the head, then she shifts to the soldier by the front and took him out too.

After killing the two, Kal'tsit spoke up. "Don't fire on the two by the truck. We'll have to take them out at the same time. Wait for me to get into position."

Ch'en then sees the feline laying down before crawling her way to a nearby abandoned BMP. After she got there, she crouched and aimed her sniper rifle to the two Guerillas.

"I'm in position. Take the shot when you're ready." She said.

Ch'en aim her rifle back to the truck. The two Guerillas had thrown another body to the lake. Ch'en aimed to the guy on the left and then put a bullet to his head while Kal'tsit did the same to his partner.

"Move up." Kal'tsit said.

The two continued on to the junkyard, passing by the dead bodies of the Luscinians, in which Ch'en got a good look at them up close.

"Wonder how many of them are in the city?" Spot asked.

"Hundreds, probably." Catapult replied.

The two move further into the junkyard, seeing a bunch of containers lying about. They cautiously move forward incase if there any guards. Surely after, they spot a guard infront of them.

"Stay back." Kal'tsit halted as they stayed near the blue container.

They observed the guard infront of them. He was blocking the path, so there is no chance of slipping past him.

Ch'en then took out her pistol and thought of killing the guy, until Kal'tsit spoke up. "Stay low. He's mine." She then slowly move forward until she was behind the guard.

"What is she doing?" Folinic asked.

"I think she's gonna use a knife on him." Bagpipe answered.

"Seems unnecessary. They could just use their sidearms." Doctor said.

"Using a knife seems more badass, though." Noir affirmed.

MW Kal'tsit then took action that no one didn't expect from a person like her to do.

"Oi, suzy!" She called out to the guard whilst running towards him.

"Huh?" The guard turned around and was then met with a rifle butt to the face, knocking him unconscious.

"That's how it's done!" Kal'tsit declared. "Let's go."

"Hah! He got owned!" Sesa laughed.

"That was the funniest shit I've ever seen!" Blaze chortled.

"Must've pretty hurt." Greythroat commented, chuckling a bit.

"She hit him pretty hard." Kroos snickered.

"He probably lost a tooth from that." Fang replied.

"I...I didn't expect her to do that." Folinic said, bewildered of MW Kal'tsit's action.

"Me neither." Amiya replied.

"I didn't expect that I would do something like that..." Kal'tsit said, also surprised of what her alternate self did.

"But it was pretty funny, hehe." Doctor chuckled.

"Totally! That was such a smack!" Closure agreed while laughing.

"It was so out of character, though." Ch'en remarked.

"Again, this is an alternate universe." Bagpipe stated. "Anyone could act differently than they originally do."

"Like you and your anger emotion." Swire smirked, still remembering when she almost threw Nine off of the power station in Blackout. "Betting 200 LMD, you'll get really pissed off in a future mission."

"I wouldn't!" The vouivre retorted.

Ch'en walk past the body and joined up with Kal'tsit. They walk past more containers as Ch'en could hear more Guerillas by the other side, having a conversation.

"Has anyone seen wild dogs running around here? I heard the Luscinians lost a couple of their men last night near the swimming complex." One of them said.

"Those Luscinian mercenaries are so incompetent. They got what they deserved." Another soldier stated. "Anyone with combat experience would have killed these dogs without a problem, haha!"

"Radiation makes these dogs crazy and strong. You underestimate them, comrade." responded a third soldier.

"Radiated dogs that cause them to be more dangerous? That sounds pretty bad." Hellagur said.

"Definitely." Beehunter agreed.

"So there are still critters lurking around the supposed radiated city?" Meteor queried.

"Maybe so." Firewatch answered, though still confused of what happened in the city.

"I couldn't even imagine what they look like..." Meteorite muttered concernedly

"That aside, those Luscinians seems to be mercenaries aswell." Folinic pointed out.

"Makes sense on why they're here with the Guerillas." Amiya said.

"It would be a matter of time when the Luscinian government finds out of this." Ch'en states.

The two reach by another container as Kal'tsit stopped. "Hold up. Wait here." She ordered before quickly moving to the set of containers up front and peek her head out.

"Patrol coming this way, stay back." Ch'en did so and waited. She then saw a glimpse of a Guerilla soldier as he walked into the container beside her.

Ch'en then sees Kal'tsit taking out her pistol as she shot the man, his body fell on to the steel floor of the container.

"Forward area clear. Go." The two press on, but they slowed down when they see about four more Guerillas on their right. There was another Guerilla who was sleeping on a chair with his feet on a set of barrels.

"Shh..." Kal'tsit signaled Ch'en to move slow but steady while they looked at the Guerillas. Thankfully, the Guerillas were busy playing cards.

"This way. Let's go." Ch'en and Kal'tsit move up into a container. Then they move up to another open container that still has its doors by the end. Just then, they hear another helicopter.

And if that wasn't enough, more voices were heard from the other side.

"Prepare the trucks in two hours!"

"Yes, commander!"

"Is the helicopter on the way?"

"They're waiting for the signal. The landing strip is safe."

"That sounds like a lot of enemies..." Bagpipe stated the obvious.

"Gee, ya think?" Closure said.

When Kal'tsit gently opened the container door, they were met with a large convoy where dozens of Guerilla soldiers were present.  They're accompanied with a variety of vehicles ranging from jeeps, trucks, armored vehicles, and even a tank.

"Of course they would have a tank!" Sesa exclaimed.

"With that much firepower, they look like an actually military unit." Vulcan said.

"How did they even sneak that much into a foreign country?" Dobermann asked in disbelief, thinking that the Luscinian government would ignore something like this.

"Maybe since the place is abandoned and irradiated, they didn't focus too much on it." Dur-Nar claimed.

"It's a bloody convention out there." Kal'tsit uttered.

"No shit." Blaze said.

"How are they gonna even sneak past them?" Firewatch queried.

"The only chance here is to run." Folinic observed. "But there's no way Doctor Kal'tsit would do such a thing."

"Get ready to move on my signal. Stay right behind me."

"Oh god, she's actually gonna do it..." Folinic widened her eyes in shock.

"She's just going to run?" Amiya asked, surprised.

"Looks like it." Doctor said.

"Oh-ho, this is gonna be interesting~" Closure smirked.

"I can't believe this..." Kal'tsit muttered, feeling disappointed of her alternate self's risky actions.

"Hold..." Kal'tsit raised a fist while she waited until the Guerillas were out of sight and out of their path. "Okay...go!"

The lynx rushed out of the container as Ch'en followed suit. They both dashed across the field towards the two jeeps behind the tank. Ch'en didn't bother to look left or right as she kept her focus on front.

After a few reckless seconds, they made it to the road and immediately took cover behind the jeeps.

"Ok, that was batshit insane." Ch'en exclaimed.

"I agree, that was very reckless of her!" Folinic shouted.

"I...I don't know what to say." Kal'tsit said.

"Well I say that your alternate self is certainly more exciting than you are." Closure replied, earning a glare from the lynx, but she didn't care and kept smirking.

"That was either lucky or stupid." Greythroat said.

"Probably both." Blaze replied.

"Or those Guerillas are just blind." Spot remarked.

Kal'tsit peek out from the jeeps, seeing if anyone spots them running. Thankfully, none of them did.

"Let's go." She said, gesturing her head at Ch'en towards the trucks. Ch'en obliged as the two then lay down and started crawling under the trucks.

"Seems like a good hiding spot." Noir commented.

"Temporarily." Yato said.

Ch'en and Kal'tsit kept on crawling under the trucks as the former hears the conversations from the Guerillas.

"Are you sure these radiation dosimeters work?" A Guerilla soldier asked. "I don't want to get sick!"

"I've checked the batteries when we were in Kyiv. Don't worry!" assured another Guerilla soldier.

"I'm assuming Kyiv must be one of Luscinia's cities?" Rangers said.

"Sounds like it." Kroos replied.

"And it sounded like they have those 'dosimeters' that might let them know of the Radiation around the cities." Folinic pointed out.

"As I understand, the further you move away from Chernobog, the radiation becomes stronger there."

"I don't believe it at all!"

"Believe whatever you want, but I don't want those dogs to come close!"

Ch'en and Kal'tsit crawl forward to the second truck, and just by their luck - another truck had arrived to provide more cover for them.

"Let's go. There's a truck coming, we'll use it as cover. Keep moving." Kal'tsit said as the two kept on crawling. Just then, Ch'en hears another conversation from a Guerilla soldier that just arrived at the convoy.

"I just got a message from intelligence! We seem to have a problem!"

"What happened?" His comrade asked.

"Some of our guys were killed! It looked like the works of professionals."

"Luscinian Special forces?" Another soldier chimed in.

"Perhaps. Or maybe it was Spetsnaz. Someone doesn't seem to like Buldrokkas'tee."

"I guess they found the bodies." Franka said.

"It was bound to happen, eventually." Firewatch remarked.

"By the way, did one of them said something about 'Spetsnaz'?" Frostleaf pointed out. "What are they?"

"Probably Special forces too. Maybe Ursine Special forces." Dobermann responded.

"So if these Spetsnaz are Ursine special forces, then they must be working with the government." Amiya said.

"Maybe with the loyalists too in the civil war." Doctor added.

"Shall we call off the deal with the Luscinians?"

"It's up to Buldrokkas'tee to decide himself. Our job is to guard the trucks and move them to the nuclear reactor as soon as we get the signal."

"Nuclear reactor..." Kal'tsit noted. Judging by the name, it must be those factories that stores nuclear energy used for the nukes.

Meanwhile, Ch'en stopped crawling when Kal'tsit did first. She sees that there weren't anymore trucks infront to hide under. The next truck that went by had to stop infront of a jeep that parked first.

"Just wait here a moment. When they leave, crawl out and stay low." Kal'tsit said.

The two waited as the occupants from the jeep and truck disembarked the vehicles, though three of them were still infront of their path. Nonetheless, they kept waiting.

Just then, Ch'en hears a Guerilla on her right. "Hey, I'm going to take a piss. Give me a moment!"

Ch'en then looked to her right and saw a pair of legs near her. It was followed by a sound of a zipper going down.

"Wait..is he going to-" Blaze spoke up but stopped when the eventful happens.

The Guerilla soldier is taking a piss right next to where Ch'en was. Drops of his urine were splashed towards the Lung girl onto her face as a small puddle of it was formed, slowly making its way to her.

Kal'tsit glanced on what is going on and assured her. "Patience... Don't do anything stupid." Though the audience could tell on her voice that she was a bit disgusted.

Speaking of which...

Everyone were totally shocked. Some had their jaw drop while most were wide-eyed. A few begin to feel like puking, hearing the noise of the Urine splashing down while the Guerilla moaned in delight.

Needless to say, it was a very shocking scene, arguably way more shocking than the nuke scene or even the Dewville village massacre.

Ch'en tried to gaze away from the scene, yet her face was met with countless drops of the soldier's urine. After a few grueling seconds, the soldier stopped as he zipped his pants back up and walked away satisfied, but it left Ch'en covered in parts of his piss.

"What the FUCK was that?!" Ch'en shouted in anger. "I just got pissed on!?"

"THAT WAS SO DAMN GROSS!" Blaze yelled.

"That was..." Bagpipe had to hold a puke. "That was so uncalled for..."

"Out of all the places he could've peed, he chose that spot?" Swire exclaimed in shock. She could've find that piss scene funny if it wasn't in a first person perspective.

"If anyone does that to me, I'll kill them." Franka frowned.

"That was a horrible turn of events...Horrible." Spot remarked.

"I could not even imagine getting pissed on..." Catapult said.

"Fucking disgusting..." Dobermann muttered in total disgust.

"I'm with you..." Dur-Nar agreed, with the same disgusted look.

"Tch, for shame of that soldier." Rangers scoffed at the Guerilla's action.

"She's gonna smell repulsive now." Noir quipped.

"I feel like I'm gonna puke..." Sesa grimaced.

Right after that, someone had vomited. Sesa looked to the source and find out it was Kroos that vomited. Parts of her puke were on the floor, earning some disgusted looks.

"S-Sorry...." She replied drowsily while blushing in embarrassment.

Fang glanced at her with a concerned look and says. "You want to go to the bathroom?" Kroos replied with a nod.

Fang nodded in return before getting off her seat and taking Kroos with her to the bathroom.

"I'll...get a mop." Beagle said, getting up aswell.

"There's a nearby janitor's closet nearby." Closure pointed out as Beagle then left to get the mop and clean up the puke puddle.

"That was surprising to say the least..." Kal'tsit spoke up.

"And pretty gross...." Closure added.

"Be glad that wasn't you, Amiya." Doctor said.

"I am, but I feel bad for Ch'en." Amiya replied.

Beagle came back with the mop along with a bucket of water and some disinfectant. She starts to clean up the pool of puddle.

After about a few minutes, she finished cleaning up the whole thing. She put the cleaning tools aside and went back to the couch with Dobermann and Dur-Nar.

The three Guerillas were about to walk away, allowing an opening for the two Victorians to crawl out. Kal'tsit then spoke up.

"Standby. Standby....Go!" They both started crawling out of the truck after the three Guerillas left.

The two then stood up and went to the jeep, peeking out from it. There were no Guerillas nearby, allowing an open clear path for them to press on.

"They're gonna run again, aren't they?" Folinic deadpanned.

"Most definitely." Dobermann replied, shaking her head.

"Ready?" Kal'tsit asked Ch'en, in which she obliged with a nod. "Go!"

The two sprinted out of the jeep and headed towards a nearby red container up front.  The lynx reached first as Ch'en quickly catches up to her and took cover.

Kal'tsit peek around the corner incase anyone follows them. Thankfully, there weren't. "No one saw us, let's keep moving. This way..."

Ch'en and Kal'tsit press forward to the apartment complex ahead. They stopped at a nearby wall. "Don't move." Kal'tsit said, peeking out of the corner of the wall. "Sniper. Fire escape, fourth floor, dead ahead."

Ch'en peek out aswell as she sees a Guerilla soldier at the top of the fire escape. "Take him out, or he'll give away our position."

Ch'en crouched down and aimed at the Guerilla sniper. He was armed with an SVD sniper rifle or the Dragunov.

She held her breath, waiting for the soldier to get in to her crosshair. Moments later, she fired - hitting the head. The sniper's body then fell forward and off from the fire escape, plummeting to the ground.

"Beautiful." Kal'tsit complimented. " Move out."

The two walk out of the wall as they come across an abandoned playground of the apartment complex, the latter also looked run downed and abandoned.

Ch'en and Kal'tsit then went up the stairs of the fire escape as the former could see the body of the sniper splattered on the ground.

"Yeesh. Good thing Ch'en killed him before he fell." Closure said.

Ch'en and Kal'tsit went up to the first floor as they then vault over a nearby window, leading to an abandoned room that is in such a state. Furniture scattered around, the windows broken and shattered, and the floor is all messy from dust and trash.

"Area clear." Kal'tsit said as the two move out of the room from another window, hopping down to the ground.

Ch'en observed the area, seeing old graffiti on the wall, trash scattered around the grass, abandoned cars lying about, and more playground sets that could've been used by the children of this place.

"Place is giving me the heebie jeebies." Catapult said, shuddering.

"Totally feels like a ghost town..." Steward added.

"Almost like how Chernobog was when Reunion attacked." Amiya remarked.

"I'm still wondering what really happened to this city in this universe?" Kal'tsit queried.  "Maybe an accident happened with the nuclear energy from those reactors."

"That's probably it." Doctor agreed.

"Don't let your guard down, we're not there yet." Kal'tsit asserted as the two kept moving on to the field of the apartment complex.

When they head towards another apartment building, Kal'tsit stopped by the entrance that was covered in vegetation.

"Stop." She signaled Ch'en to stop aswell. Ch'en look up front and saw a lone wild dog.

"Leave it alone. It's a a wild dog." Kal'tsit said.

"That's possibly one of those 'radiated' dogs." Yato said.

"It looks like a normal dog to me." Meteorite observed the creature.

"It is on the outside, but on the inside they may be very dangerous from the effects of the radiation." Meteor said.

"Wonder how they even got here in this city?" Noir asked.

"They were probably stray dogs." Spot responded.

"Or maybe they could be pets that were abandoned by the owners from the nuclear accident in this city." Ansel speculated.

"Oh...poor things." Franka let out a sad frown at the thought of the pets being left behind.

Ch'en and Kal'tsit move up to the building, briefly looking up to see leaves and vines growing within the walls and the balconies.

They eventually reach the exit and got a closer look on the wild dog. It appears that it was actually eating a dead soldier, presumably a Luscinian mercenary.

Ch'en saw that the mercenary had some of his face ripped off, with pieces of his flesh on the ground.

Some of the audience cringed at the fate of the mercenary.

"Ugh." Sesa spoke up. "I couldn't imagine getting eaten like that..."

"And I hate to be that dead guy." Blaze replied.

"Good thing Kroos isn't here." Beagle said, looking disgusted of how the dog is eating the body, blood sticking on its snout.

"Pooch doesn't look too friendly." Kal'tsit observed before turning to Ch'en.  "Keep your distance. No need to attract unnecessary attention."

Ch'en obliged as the two cautiously move up around the wild dog while it was busy eating the corpse of the mercenary.

Ch'en immediately stop in her tracks when she hears the dog growling. She turned to the dog and saw it staring at her, barking right after that.

She took out her pistol in instinct, thinking the dog would attack her. Surprisingly, the dog just stood there, growling at her. Knowing that it won't attack her, Ch'en walked away and leave it alone.

"Whew, that was close." Bagpipe said.

"Why couldn't she just shoot it, though?" Swire wondered.

"If she shoot it, it would be bad news." Hoshiguma argued.

"It was just one dog" She stated. " What, you think a dozen dogs would just appear out of nowhere if she were to shoot it?"

"That could be a possibility." Ch'en said. " In the end, it's better safe than sorry."

Just then, Fang and Kroos returned from the bathroom. "We're back." The former said. "What did we miss?"

"Oh nothing particular." Dur-Nar answered. "We just saw a wild dog eating a corpse of a man."

Kroos then exhaled in relief, feeling glad she didn't get a chance to see it after throwing up a few times in the bathroom from that piss scene. Even though she saw a bunch of dead bodies in the last mission, seeing one being EATEN is a different thing.

The two went back to their respective spot, next to Beagle.

Ch'en joined up with Kal'tsit and saw her peeking out of the entrance of another abandoned building. "Clear right. Go." She said as she and Ch'en entered the first room of the building of what looks to be an abandoned cafeteria.

There were a few posters on the walls, one of them being an Ursine woman with a child - both are smiling, getting some uneasy reactions from the audience.

Ch'en and Kal'tsit then move up to a set of stairs in a room that is lighten up by the sunlight emulating from the skylight window above the stairs. As if the setting wasn't uneasy enough, the audience could hear faint sounds of children.

"Ok...this is getting creepy." Meteorite said

"Were those ghosts?" Frostleaf asked, shuddering at the thought of the building being haunted by spirits.

"Probably so." Spot answered. "Guess that means whatever accident happened in the city, the children were part of the casualties."

The operators frowned at the statement. The children seems to can't catch a break from death. So many potential generations laid to waste.

Ch'en and Kal'tsit went up to the set of stairs, hearing more ghostly sounds of children either playing or calling their parents. They went right and went up another set of stairs which lead them to a large room where they could see a clear view of some of the abandoned buildings and areas by the front windows.

"Look at this place. Fifty thousand people used to live in this city. Now it's a ghost town..." Kal'tsit stated, letting out a sigh after. "I've never seen anything like it."

"50,000? Sure was a lot of inhabitants..." Amiya said, frowning.

"It really feels similar to Chernobog." Doctor remarked.

"But unlike the one in this universe, there were plans for the city to be rebuilt and repopulated." Kal'tsit stated.

"Then why can't they do the same here?" Blaze asked.

"The nuclear radiation running about, remember?" Greythroat answered.

"Oh, right."

"And I am positive that the nuclear reactors are responsible for the city being radiated. Something must've happened in the factories." Kal'tsit speculated.

"Consider how it was used for the missile, that seems to be the outcome." Hellagur said.

They walk off from the second floor and went down another set of stairs. Ch'en took point, going down to the first floor.

Suddenly, another MI-24 helicopter appeared flying closely past the building. The rotors creating a strong gust of wind that shattered the glass from some of the windows.

Ch'en and Kal'tsit went down another floor. "This way, let's go." The latter said, gesturing at an exit. The two then got out of the building and press forward to their location.

Ch'en took the time to look at their surroundings. There were no signs of life anywhere, save for the trees if you count em'. It felt like she and Kal'tsit were the last people on earth.

"You know, the setting could work well for a horror game." Catapult commented.

"It already sorta felt like a horror game when it's just the two of them against hundreds of enemies armed to the teeth." Noir Corne said.

"And those ghostly sounds of children by the building." Rangers added.

"All that's missing are radiated monsters." Spot remarked.

"Those radiated dogs could be considered one." Sesa said.

"Eh, not really." Vulcan argued.

After walking around the place, the two spotted a tall hotel building in the distance, which is their destination.

"There's the hotel." Kal'tsit pointed to the said building. "We should be able to observe the exchange from the top floor up there. Let's move."

Kal'tsit and Ch'en then went in the entrance as the screen fades to black, ending the mission.

_______________________________________

"Well that was a pretty decent mission."  Hoshiguma said.

"An interesting one since we get to see from Ch'en's perspective." Swire replied.

"And Dr. Kal'tsit being there aswell as a character." Amiya added.

"Though I didn't expect her to actually be my CO." Ch'en said.

"It's an alternate universe. We should expect some surprises." Doctor stated.

"This was a good stealth mission, i say." Dobermann said.

"Until that piss scene came up..." Kroos replied, causing Fang, Beagle, Jessica, and Dur-Nar to shiver in disgust.

"Why was that even in the mission?" Dur-Nar exclaimed. "Whoever made this could've just left out the scene entirely and not gross us out!"

(D: Cus why not? Hah!)

"I don't want to imagine the smell..." Jessica said.

"If that guy was real, I'd kill him." Ch'en muttered in anger about that Guerilla soldier who pissed on her character.

"Well I'm glad we finally got a stealth mission for once." Greythroat said.

"Agreed. Those ghillie suits helped them a lot for their mission." Firewatch replied.

"Gotta give credit to it aswell." Ethan chimed in. "They even manage to stay unnoticed against that convoy."

"The mission felt a bit boring, though." Blaze remarked.

"Is it because of no guns blazing?" Greythroat queried.

"Yep. It's more fun that way."

"I agree. Better off using explosives to show your dominance over your enemies on the battlefield." Sesa spoke up.

"With overconfidence like that, it will likely get you killed." Spot remarked.

"Atleast I'll die doing what I love." The vouivre replied with a proud smile, earning an eye roll from the Rebbah.

"This mission had raised many questions, like how had Chernobog went through after suffering from this nuclear accident." Ansel thoughted, putting a hand under his chin.

"Which turned the whole city uninhabitable for human life." Steward added.

"And letting out pockets of radiation in some parts of the area." Vulcan followed.

"If that's the case, I wonder how long it would take to wear off?" Amiya asked.

"Maybe a few decades or so." Folinic claimed.

"Or a hundred years. Maybe even a thousand." Closure guessed.

"There's no way the city could be under radiation for that long." Bagpipe argued.

The Sarkaz shrugged. "Just my speculation, but it also depends on how bad the radiation was. Maybe it could even reach ten thousand years."

"Hopefully it won't be that long..." Doctor muttered.

"So is the next mission going to be the part where Patriot gets assassinated?" Swire asked.

"Definitely, why else would they be in Chernobog in the first place?" Hoshiguma answered.

"And I'm interested to see what Patriot's deal off with the Luscinians." Blaze joined in.

"He wants nuclear material, so it better be something expensive he would give to them." Ch'en speculated.

"It would also tell us of how he lost an arm in the first place and manage to survive." Hellagur said.

"Well, only one way to find out." Amiya proclaimed before pressing the button as the next mission starts.

Trivia:

- Luscinia is a parallel to Ukraine. It is also the first original country to be added in this alternate universe. Which means that the nation is not actually in the game, so I made it myself for the MW world of Terra.

- The name 'Luscinia' is the latin term for 'Nightingale', which is the national animal for Ukraine. Just like Russia being Ursus, the latin term for Bear (and also the country's national animal). I first thought of something like 'Ukria', but that just sounds dumb and obvious.

- The Second Global War is of course the AK version for WW2, or in this case GW2. They will learn more about it after they finished watching the first game. It's gonna feature similarities from the original WW2, but would have major differences too.

So that was the chapter of the best mission in Cod 4. Hope you liked what I put in there.

I was very glad that the mission also included conversations from the enemy soldiers that could let the audience to pick up the pieces on what happened to Chernobog without D interfering.

I also added Luscinia in to make the mission more immersive since Chernobyl took place in Ukraine and there were mentions of Ukrainian mercenaries from the ultranationalists.

Kudos to anyone that guessed right of Kal'tsit being MacMillan. I mean, it's totally obvious. She's also the final Arknights character to be added for the first game.

Don't worry, there will be plenty more characters that will be added for the sequel. And when I say 'Plenty', I mean it.

By the way, thanks for that piss idea NaTe_Task
That scene from the Lego video was gold

See you in "One Shot, One Kill."
