Weathertop is a flat grassland, strewn with rocks, trees, and fibrous plants. The plateau is raised on most sides, leaving it to be an easily defensible place and an easy place to build on. It has easy access to a lot of basic materials, such as stone, wood, thatch, and fiber. Due to being close to the swamp and it's many creatures, meat and hide are pretty easy to come by.
Hunter had built the very first outpost on Weathertop, and it had grown to be the largest one due to its relatively safe location. The Outpost consists of a large recreational center and meeting hall, several incubation rooms, stables, and a small little hut for each person and whichever companion they may chose. A large wooden building houses all of the plants that are being grown for food, which is regularly irrigated and monitored. Several farms of dodos, Achatinas, and Ovis are also kept safe and secure at Weathertop
Weathertop is also the closest Outpost to the mysterious Red Obelisk, which can be seen even through the thickest of weather with the red, diamond shaped light glowing like a malevolent red eye.
Kept at Outpost one are dozens, perhaps a hundred pages of notes written by survivors long ago. Varying from notes written on the creatures that roam the Ark, to the journal notes of the people that once inhabited the same land. They're all kept in what could be called a Central Hall, free to anyone to look through. Gathered and placed in chronological order by unknown survivors of the past, they hide important information in their words and diagrams...
