"Are you really a... a witch?"
"Huh?"
"Is it true what they say, th-that you're a witch?"
"Who say's that? Namari isn't a witch!"
"But... they say thing's happen when she's around... bad things. That things always happen to people who hang around her. That she's... cursed."
"..."
"Namari?"
"I-its okay! I think its kind of cool! S-So don't look so sad."
"I'm not sad. I don't care, I don't need anyone."
"Hey! You've got me!"
"... Yeah. I've got Yuji."
"W-well... I-if its okay then... THEN YOU CAN HAVE ME TOO!"
"Eh?"
"I-I want to be your friend too!"
"What's your name? I'm Itadori Yuji!"
"I-I'm Shimura Reika."
"..."
"Don't mind Namari, she'll warm up to you! She's really a good person deep down."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~Rebirth~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Was it weird how dark it got so quickly? Namari frowned as she placed her shopping bags into a basket that sat upon her bike before fiddling with a small light that sat secured to the front. She hadn't been shopping for very long, honestly. She wasn't fond of shopping in the first place, it was way to noisy and she didn't like being around a lot of people. She didn't much like people in general, she just liked being in her own space with her loved ones.
...seriously though, was it super late? Just in case, Namari checked her phone to see what the time was. It really shouldn't have been dark...
Yuji should be at the hospital now visiting Itadori Wasuke, that grouchy old man. She had to smile to herself at the thought. That geezer had a soft spot in her heart that was for sure, despite how they acted to each other. She could remember the very first time they met six years ago after being friends with Yuji for a few weeks. The silly boy had run from the school entrance when his grandfather showed up to pick him up and proceeded to proudly shout that she was his new friend and they were going to be besties.
His grandfather deadpanned at them and gave her the most unimpressed look she'd ever seen.
It took her a while to like the old man, if she was honest. He was feisty and ornery, always complaining about something in some way but Yuji explained to her in a whisper that his grandpa wasn't a bad person, just crusty.
This made Namari look to said old man and said in an expressionless monotone way, "Crusty old man."
She was just repeating what Yuji said, honestly. He didn't have to get as angry as he did.
"YOU BRAT!" She'd never seen veins in a person bulge so much as it did in his forehead... and did his eye's just turn white? Was that a demonic aura?
A shiver had gone down her spine and Puentes Namari was not ashamed to admit that she ran for her life while the old guy chased her.
Nope. Not one bit.
She didn't know why but from that day on her and the old man fought, and they fought a lot. Every time she came over, dragged by Yuji was more like it, they'd somehow end up calling each other names and magically grappling each other wrestling and pulling at each others hair (Don't ask her how they ended up like that, because she couldn't even remember why) while Yuji grinned in the background as happy as a puppy with a bone in its mouth.
Tail wagging included.
Scoffing, Namari decided that tomorrow she'd go with Yuji to visit the stupid old geezer. It had been a while since she checked in on him anyway plus she didn't have to work tomorrow so it all worked out, she'd just hang around school until Yuji got out and tag along with him. Maybe she should get something for the old fart?
A smirk made its way onto her lips, yeah, she'd get him some false teeth as a gag gift.
Chuckling to herself, Namari hopped onto her bike that now illuminated the darkened side walk (again, she noted how weirdly dark it was) and just as she was about to head out to Yuji's, her phone began to ring. Confused for a second, Namari pulled it out to see who was bothering her.
>Incoming Call, Reika<
Reika? She hasn't heard from her in a while, last they talked Reika was pretty sick and feared she was contagious and thus forbid her and Yuji from coming to visit.
"Hello?" She answered the phone with a frown, Reika really should be resting...
"N-Namari." Reika's voice rasped over the phone followed by a whimper.
"What's wrong? Are you okay?" Her friends voice didn't sound right, was she sicker?
"I... I need you."
"What do you need? I can go get it." Reika lived alone, so Namari was more then happy to get anything that was needed for her to recover. They had a rocky start to their friendship, but Namari grew attached to her after a while and so did Yuji.
"I-I need help. N-Namari. I'm s-scared." Reika whimpered before coughing and hacking.
She sounded terrible... Maybe she need's professional help, has she even gone to the doctors?
"Do you need me to call an ambula-"
"NO!" Reika all but screamed into the phone, causing Namari's eyes to widen as she pulled the phone away from the sheer volume. "No, no, no! They don't believe me! N-Namari they think I'm crazy!" A psychotic laugh escaped from the other end.
"... Reika... tell me exactly what's going on. I'm on my way but stay on the phone with me." Namari demanded as she began to pedal her bike as fast as she could. Reika was never one to be paranoid about anything, at all nor was she ever afraid. To hear her like this was sending shiver's down Namari's spine.
Something was wrong.
"Eye's are everywhere. Always watching. Taunting from the shadows." Reika whispered in the phone. "Waiting to begin devouring..."
What the hell?
"It want's to eat me." Reika wailed. "I can't leave. It waits and watches."
"What's watching?"
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."
"Reika, you can trust me." Namari soothed. "I-I never told you but I have special eyes. So.. So I can see things alright? Thing's people cant." Should she reveal she could see curses? Not even Yuji knew that though... but perhaps her friend was seeing some sort of curse and was afraid.
Namari wouldn't lie, if you haven't seen a curse before its terrifying to see. She was petrified from some of the curses she used to be exposed too, but really Reika should be fine. Namari and her brother's had killed off most of the curses in Sendai so it shouldn't be a problem to get rid of.
If it was a curse anyway.
"I-It's to late now. Namari... I'm sorry."
-call end-
"Reika? Reika!" Namari clicked her tongue in annoyance as she rode as fast as she could. She was maybe ten minutes away from Reika's home by bike with the speed she rode.
Ten minutes was too long.
What was happening to her friend? Reika had been acting weird ever since she went to Hongo and Dani's apartment. She grit her teeth as she drove past people walking late at night and through on coming traffic, cars honking angrily at her as she zoomed past.
Honestly they should be used to her half hazardous bike riding by now, She mused.
Six minutes away.
Anxiety began to grip at Namari as she began to worry if Reika might disappear like Hongo and Dani did. Could it be... She didn't want to think of it but... Could it be a curse that took Hongo and Dani? Could she even handle one that's possibly already killed two people? Her and her brother's used to face decently strong ones in the city but that was all together. If they were alone they'd have died or something... but Sendai shouldn't have any strong curses...
Three minutes away.
She didn't want to think of it, she huffed as she tried to keep a steady speed and before she knew it, Namari skid to a halt on the driveway of her friends home and her jaw dropped as she took in the sight. The homes lights were all off, the windows were cracked and broken and the wood around the home looked rotted while the door entry appeared to be broken into with the door hanging on the hinges. What the hell happened in ten minutes!? With her heart beginning to race, Namari reached in her pants pocket to grab a pocket knife she always held on her since she started living on the streets and gripped it in a vice grip as she began to make her way towards the eerily silent home.
She kept her steps silent, creeping up to the open door and peering in from around the corner. When her eye's adjusted to the dark she gapped at the inside of the living room. The place was a complete wreck, almost like someone had broken in and ransacked everything but not only that, the walls seemed to be old and rotting as well and there was a pungent rotting smell that filled the air. Holding her nose, Namari began to make her way inside, looking at every nook and cranny for a clue. Paper's, books, utensils, you name it; were all littering the floors and she cautiously stepped over some questionable looking things she couldn't identify. When she entered the kitchen she about vomited as she passed molding food on the counters and table that had maggots, flies and rats all on and around it.
What the hell happened here? Namari grit her teeth as she continued to walk only to freeze when her eye's spotted red splatters on the kitchen floor, then footprints leading from the splatter to outside.
"Reika?" Her whispered voice, even though spoken as quietly as possible, broke the silence as if it had been shrieked. She hadn't even realized how deadly silent it was.
This was dumb. She shouldn't be doing this, she shouldn't be following the blood trail like a stupid blonde in a cliche American horror movie! But this was her friend... and it could possibly be a curse, something her and her brothers fought all the time. She couldn't abandon her. So, her feet moved forward.
Her heart had started to pound even harder as she followed the trail, her nerves getting worse the more she followed the blood. When she reached the door to the backyard and peered out, She grasped her mouth with her hand to prevent a gasp as she spotted two rotting corpses laying in the back yard in a heap. They weren't recognizable, her hands and shoulder's shook as tears formed in her eyes as fear flooded her.
Good god, they were grotesque and rotting and- her stomach rolled as nausea built and panic set in. Their skin was gone, leaving behind a bloody mess of organs, muscle tissue and bone. The smell of decay filled the air heavily and churned her stomach even more. But they weren't Reika. No no, they were male. The neighbors maybe, but not her. So where was she?
Where was her friend? What was all this?!
"R-REIKA!" Namari yelled, probably not smart but she was freaking out. "Reika!" Could she still be in the house? Could the blood belong to the two corpses outside? But no, the blood trailed into the grass and further then the bodies.
Again bile rose in her throat.
She's fought curses before with Tony and Julio by her side, but they'd never come across something like this... They'd never found rotting skeletal corpses who's internals were decaying in the open air.
Yeah they lived on the streets, what they saw back then she thought was the worst; People shot to death, someone stabbed to death, rapists, sweat shops, homeless people fighting over areas, you name it. Julio and Tony kept her safe from it all... But this? This was something she had never ever seen before outside of horror movies and stories.
(An; I'm making this up, I have no idea if it gets bad like that in the cities for homeless people or not, I only know stories from what happens on American streets so please forgive me if any of this offends anyone from Japan! This stuff is only for the story and character's traumatic past. Because what's a JJK Character without childhood/current Trauma?)
Her head began to pound painfully... This curse.... it had to be way above her grade....
Grade? Namari was confused, but her mind gave a harsh ringing sound that brought immediate agony as her mind flashed with an image of a black haired man with glasses teaching three people about the level of curses... explaining each level in a way if conventional weapons worked against the beings people couldn't see.
Grade 4... Wooden bat is enough.
Grade 3... If you have a handgun, you can rest easy.
Grade 2... Close call with a Shotgun.
Grade 1... Even a tank may be insufficient.
Special Grade... Even footing with a carpet bombing of cluster bombs.
Namari scowled, how the hell was that supposed to help her? Seriously, some of the memories from 'before' were absolutely stupid and useless. How was she to know what level this curse was by using that?
"N...ar..i.."
Namari froze, feeling her blood run cold as a choked voice called out to her.
"..m...ri..."
Her brown eye's turned slowly back towards the backyard, having turned away in her panic, and past the bloody corpses. It was there she spotted movement in the shadow's behind the pool that sat in Reika's backyard next to her tool shed whose door was open. Something massive was hiding in the shed... something was there and she felt herself tremble.
She was... afraid.
Namari grit her teeth, she hasn't been scared of curses since she was a kid! Tony and Julio had trained with her every single day of her life since they'd met both in a physical way, mental way and in how to utilize some of their energy, they also killed many of them too. They'd taught her how to fight them using what they called, cursed energy and according to Tony, he could tell she had a lot.
Whatever that meant.
She didn't know how to fully exercise the curses back then, but once she got the hang of putting Cursed Energy into her fists and managing to run it through weapons she was able to weaken the curses and Tony or Julio would kill them completely. Why the hell was she starting to be afraid now though? She was capable of taking them out now... Was it because there were stronger curses then she or Tony and Julio had ever faced?
Were there such strong curses like 'before' had said? Had she fooled herself into thinking she was some epically strong fighter against these unseen creatures?
How would she know how to tell...
Her eye's froze as they caught on to movement, watching as a pale arm reached out from the shadow's, blood coating the nails, before grasping onto the dirt and pulling. With the pull, the familiar head of Reika appeared. Her face looked sunken in, Namari could only stare, and she was skin and bone as if she was starving for weeks on end.
"N...mri...." The dry cracked lips pleaded and Namari tsked and shook her head, trying to quell the fearful thoughts and pounding of her heart.
Don't be a coward! Reika is in trouble.
"Let her go!" Namari demanded as she burst out the door and into the backyard, only to freeze in terror once more as thirteen glowing eyes opened from the shadows of the shed.
T-thirteen eyes... It couldn't be, right?
Her mind flashed to the alley way eleven years ago, long spindly arm's with horrifyingly long nails slamming into the cement wall's beside her in the alley.
Long spindly arm's shot out from the shadows and slammed into the earth below causing dirt to fly up, a gurgling groan echoes through the air.
The image of slobbery fangs opening and the smell of death filled the air.
One by one, they slammed into the earth, all six of them drilling deep with the help of deadly long claws. She felt the ghost feeling of the slobber falling onto her shoulder, just like it had fallen on her shoulder's back then as the feeling of cold dread started flooding her. Then, it began to pull it's self out of the shadows to reveal the same curse from that day long ago, in the alley way where she woke up.
"No way." Namari rasped in terror, it was the same curse... the same freaking one! How did it get here in Sendai!? They'd left it back in the city never to be seen again! WHY was it here?! "R-Reika get away!"
It was different, she choked as the monstrosity rose to its fullest height. It now had a human males upper body attached to its backside, and it was raised in the air with two extra spindly limbs. One was waving around as if testing the use of it, while the other was speared through Reika's body. Namari was frozen as the beast lifted the form of her friend only to tear off her arm and let loose a guttural groan in pleasure as it began to chew with drool dribbling down its mouth while her friend screamed in agony. The crunch and squelch made her stomach churn sourly and if she wasn't so afraid, Namari would have vomited right then and there. She couldn't look away, watching as it swallowed down the lump of chewed limb. The lump then visually traveled down the curses throat and up the new humanoid form and to the spindly arm. The arm then convulsed violently before morphing in front of her very eye's into a human hand.
Reika's human hand.
It... it evolves with what it eats.
So much blood... there's so much blood... I can't....
She felt herself beginning to hyperventilate in terror.
Red... so much red on the beast, on Reika, on the floor... on her? Reika's blood splattered on her when it took her limb... Get it off...
GET IT OFF! ITS NOT MY BLOOD! GET IT OFF!
She couldn't do this, she couldn't do it! Her chest heaved as her eyes watered. She needed Tony! She needed Julio! She stepped backwards only to smack into the door, not knowing when it had closed behind her. She frantically tried to doorknob while keeping the beast in her sight, but it wasn't budging.
Then? A retching sounded and the monster began to make noises similar to a cat preparing to vomit. It made the noise over and over and over before opening it's mouth and spitting out two familiar bodies into the earth, covered in slobber, blood and stomach acid.
"Oh god..." She whimpered.
It was Hongo and Dani.
Dani's flesh had all but been skinned off of her, leaving nothing but bloody muscle tissue and bone with wide terror filled eye's. Her ear's were gone as well and her once beautiful cotton candy colored hair was a matted mess. Hongo's head had been completely removed, as well as most of his upper body, only his favorite bracelet custom made gave away his identity.
The monster let out a gleeful laugh at her terror, opening it's mouth to let out a mocking chortle and she began to realize that it had a human head now and she trembled when she recognized a few things. Its head was Hongo's, the orange hair glinting in the back yard light. It's skin was smooth and soft looing like Dani's who was obsessed with being softer then a babies butt. It's face... she recognized it as a homeless man who went missing a few years back. This things been here, she realized, it's been here for a long time. Was it this thing she felt watching her?
The laugh of the creature echoed in the yard and continued to taunt her, taunt her like its stupid grin from way back then when no one believed her about the monster in the shadows.
The laughing... the mockery... the damn laughing!
She... she wanted it to stop laughing.
She wanted it to shut up.
Her fear started to turn into fury, unable to do anything as the life drained out of Reika. She was to weak, her body malnourished beyond repair. Her arm and, now that she could see her more, her left leg was gone. Nothing was left behind but a massive wound that oozed out globs of redredred. Her friend would be gone soon... She'd lost to much blood and she...
She was...
"You..." Her voice shook and the curse stopped laughing, staring at her as if it could feel she was no longer afraid. "You BASTARD!" With all she had in her, Namari recalled what Tony and Julio taught her, bringing forth her burning hatred and anger and fueling her cursed energy.
Hongo.
She took a step forward.
Dani.
The Curse laughed gleefully at her challenge.
Reika...
Reika weakly reached to Namari in desperation, mouthing 'run' before her eye's completely dimmed, and her body stilled.
Reika...
She wanted it to die... She wanted it do die!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rebirth ~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was completely silent, almost eerily so, in the empty house of Itadori Wasuke. Not a single thing stirred, not even a mouse. It was here, in the darkness, that Namari stumbled in through the front door with her spare key, releasing a wheezing gasp for air. She staggard forward, grasping onto the door frame with her body trembling. All over, she groaned, all over her body were bruises, blood and gashes.
She hurt...
A whimper left her lips as she forced herself to move, glancing one last time behind her to her mangled bike and bags hazardously flung about. She couldn't find it in her to care right now though, as she shut and locked the door. Yuji had his own key, so it was fine.
"Die!" Namari screamed as she flung herself forward in a fit of unrestrained rage. But, not matter how many times she hit the hideous curse, it still retaliated ten fold and her body once again slammed into the ground. She lost track on how many times she was brought down, form heaving in air as she tried to stand. Her eye's stinging as she looked over to the dead bodies of her friend and coworkers. Her body screeching in pain as she kept pushing it more and more, vision blurring from trying to force more energy into her attacks.
Her eye's peered through the darkness, shuffling her feet onward as she made her way towards the bathroom. Yuji wasn't home yet, probably still with his grandpa. Her phone was broken, left in shattered pieces outside next to her bike. She left nothing of hers at Reika's, leaving not a trace for anyone to track her down just like Tony taught her.
Reika...
Namari paused outside the bathroom wall as a chocked breath left her lips. Reika was gone, she couldn't save her. She didn't get there in time... Why hadn't Reika reached out sooner? Perhaps she could have been saved if she'd just-
She pushed herself forward, entering the bathroom and turning on the light before peering into the mirror at her reflection. She looked awful, her hair was matted and wild, her eye's had dark rings around it and her skin was paler then ever. Dirt, grime, blood (hers and who knows who's else's), and gashes caked her body as well as a bite mark on her waist curtesy of that horrible curse. The wound was dark and bruised, dribbling a line of goopy blood and some unknown yellow liquid. She swallowed thickly, mouth dry, before slowly peeling off her ruined cloths and trying her best to not scream as the fiber's of her cloths had clung to her wounds. She harshly bit her lips to keep back her sounds of pain as more blood came from her wound's, she needed to wash herself... Yuji wouldn't care. They crashed at each other's places all the time, so much that it was like a home away from home. They ate each other's food, used each other's showers and she was certain some of her cloths were here somewhere in the spare bedroom that Wasuke had made for her.
He denied doing it to this day, but Yuji had been on a field trip with his class that day and Wasuke was the only one there.
It was horribly painful, the shower, but she knew she had to get all of this filth off of her before she started doing first aide. She didn't want to get infected after all... Had to clean her wounds. For what felt like hours, Namari slowly and meticulously washed her body using whatever soap was in the bathroom before washing her hair. When that was all done, she found herself just standing there under the warm jets of water with her head resting on the wall, not really registering anything as her eye's glazed over and blankly watching as the blood and dirt stained soap flowed down the drain.
She gave a battle cry as she used her pocket knife to repeatedly stab the curse that held her in its grasp, having yanked her up off of the ground after she'd been slammed repeatedly into it. She couldn't give up! She couldn't! She felt like she was near hysterical as she struggled, flailed and stabbed over and over and over; taking pleasure in the monster's roars of pain and fury.
But it wasn't enough to kill it. This curse was strong, far to strong and out of her league.
She screamed when it opened it's massive mouth and bit down harshly into her abdomen and her cries only worsened when she felt a burning pain enter where the fangs pierced.
When she blinked her eyes, registering the water was now cold, Namari got out of the shower and proceeded to use up every last bit of first aide Wasuke had stocked up after putting her hair up into a messy bun. One of the good thigs about the old man was that he was always overly prepared and she couldn't bore thankful as she cleaned her wounds more with alcohol, praying the neighbors didn't report her pained screams as it burned like hell. She sewed what she could, used to doing a rough patch job from growing up, and wrapped the rest. It was to the point she felt like half a Mummy.
The most painful wound was her abdomen, She needed to get it checked but didn't know what she'd say to the hospital staff when questioned. When she was done, Namari managed to get herself to Yuji's room, staggering and almost falling as massive waves of dizziness and nausea ran rampant within, and took a shirt and pair of his boxer shorts that were in the clean laundry basket. That boy was so lazy he never put his cloths away.
Neither did she but hey lets not go there.
Once that was done, she grabbed his throw blanket and made her way to his couch before collapsing on it and curling up under the blanket, burying into herself as much as possible.
Yuji, Namari frantically thought as she coughed up blood from another hit of the ridiculously strong curse. She could flee there, she thought to herself only to be flung aside again and landed on the rotting corpses with a sickening crunch and squelch. She needed to run, she was going to die if she continued to try and fight. She was no match, she didn't realize how stupid she was to possibly even THINK she could beat this thing.
She needed to run...
Run....
Why linger? They were all dead anyway, there was nothing left for her to save and she was painfully outmatched. Why should she remain fighting this thing and lose her life? She didn't want to. She didn't want to die for anyone, she thought when the idea that it could go for the other civilians.
Namari was selfish. She didn't want to die for people she didn't know or care about. Sure she didn't want people to needlessly suffer but why should she die for them? What good would it do? They didn't really know her nor did they really care.
If she was honest, she just didn't give a shit anymore. All she ever cared about was her brothers, Julio and Tony, and soon it grew three more people; Yuji, Wasuke, and Reika. Her brother's left her a while back, she was on her own. Wasuke was in the hospital for an undetermined amount of time, Yuji was there visiting and Reika was dead.
She'd live for Yuji, she decided. He was her only remaining light in this cursed world now. Her best friend... She just wanted-
"Yuji." Namari sobbed as she curled up anymore. She wanted Yuji, wanted to feel him hug her like he always did despite her being prickly about it. She could act as tough and rude as she wanted but she always loved the feeling of being in his arms.
Safe.
Warm.
Like the sun was shining on her and keeping her from every bad thing that could possibly happen.
She wanted Yuji now more then ever to hold her. Her best fucking friend...
Sobs wracked her body even more, from the trauma of the day, from the past, and from the pain of her wounds. And eventually? Namari passed out, her vision tunneling black and embracing her into the shadow's where her mind was filled with dreams.
With nightmares.
A dark voice echoed, scream's of torturous agony in the distance followed by wails of sorrow.
He's returned to flesh.
A silhouette flashes in her dream, killing mass amounts of people and devouring their flesh as it relished in their screams. Fire erupted and smoke filled the air as well as the smell of burning corpses followed by dark maniacal laughter.
"You."
He's been reborn.
The shadow was before her and four dark red glowing eyes stared down at her in awe and wonder. There was a hint of madness in them, a thirst for chaos, but it was pushed back and suddenly she felt a rough but strong hand grab her face harshly as the deep voice echoed in her mind.
"You're really here... You're alive."
The king will come to reclaim his throne.
The voice edged on being soft but there was a danger she could sense in him that made her knee's buckle in fear.
"How magnificent..."
And the deep maniacal laughter sounded once more.
And he will make them all suffer.
"..ri? H...lo? Ar...ou...ere?"
Namari groaned as her eye's opened, unsure how long she slept for, and panic hit her when she realized her vision was blurry beyond belief. She sat up quickly, only to cry in pain when her head pounded and wounds hissed in protest. Yup. Yeah. Mhmm, she regretted doing that.
The room was spinning.
She felt like she was turning green as the urge to vomit grew.
God, she was so dizzy.
"Namari!?"
She knew that voice, it was Yuji! He was here!
There was another voice with him, no... two voices and only one of them sounded familiar to her but she couldn't place it. They were speaking to Yuji in hushed tones but his voice gained panic.
"Namari! I'm coming in!" The door jiggled as the sound of key's were frantically hitting the door. "Her bikes a wreck, phone in pieces, her bags strung around? She'd never leave her stuff like that if something wasn't wrong."
The door burst open and Yuji flew in in just as Namari managed to stand with the blanket covering her form to keep her body warm.
It was cold, she briefly noted as she shivered. So cold...
"Yuji?" Her voice sounded terrible, she mused, and she must look like a mess because he was staring at her horrified.
... and were those scars under his eye's? When the hell did he get those?
"Namari, w-what happened? You never messa- How long have you been here?" His eye's looked around as his brows furrowed before he focused back onto her, worry set on his face.
Namari was confused for a moment, using her arm to rub at her eye in an attempt to take away the blurred vision and overwhelming dizziness and nausea. She could make out two figures coming in the door behind her best friend. One with spiky black hair and the other with white hair and a blindfol-
What the heck was that guy doing here?
"You." Gojo, 'before' reminded her, uttered out and his form was so tense that she felt nervousness set in on top of everything else she was feeling. He was staring at her, eyes from behind that dumb blindfold burning into her very soul. He hadn't seen her face before, being covered in a mask and with a hat on, but he was studying her so closely. His voice, was he angry? Why? What did she do? "Just who the hell are you?!"
Huh?!
Confused, Namari turned to Yuji who took a step towards her in worry, grasping at the blanket covering her only for it to fall off her shoulders leaving him to gasp at all the bandages.
"Yu..ji.."
"Crap! Namari!"
Nope. She couldn't stand up anymore, too dizzy, and so Namari crashed forward. Vaguely seeing Yuji rush to catch her and shout her name in worry.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~Rebirth~~~~~~~~~~~~~
AN;
WELL! Here's were its starting to come together as the plot for JJK begins! I hope you all are enjoying this story! I had something a bit different planned out for the first few chapters but once I started writing I couldn't stop. It just kept flowing! So I'm going with the flow~ Here's some info below about the curse! I do NOT own it. Also I hoped I caught all my mistakes, I write my chapters in a really rough draft to get my ideas out, then I read over it and add more, then read over again to add details and more emotion and continue on to the end then read it one last time. But like I'm super tired so Idk if I missed anything. So good night! Enjoy! If you notice a mistake I'll try to fix it later. For now just enjoy the chapter lol...
Spider curse- (I do not own this image, I found it on Google and its like the closest thing to how I imagine that Curse chasing Namari looking like. Just a little fact for this curse, the more human's it consumes, the more humanlike parts it gets. Eventually it will consume enough human's to create it's own body, being a mass of dead bodies to create a new one. It is a Special Grade Curse, having evolved over time. It has high intelligence and superb hunting skills. Eventually it will gain the ability to speak and has been around since Namari awoke in the alley way as a kid. It is unknown to her how long this curse has been alive, just that it seems to be hunting her and she has suspicions that it is the reason bad things happened around her. Because it made them happen. It wanted to break her.
