In the Castle garden, Shizuku is taking a stroll in her nightgown, enjoying the moonlight as she passes by the flowerbeds. She looked over to the open space of the garden and saw Kaito is seen wielding a wooden staff as he faces off against 3 training dummies.

Kaito thrusts his staff towards the middle dummy, sending it backwards before doing a sweep with his staff and knocking away the two dummies that was nearby. He then tossed the initial dummy that he attacked in the air using his staff before jumping after it, stabbing it repeatedly to stall it in the air until Kaito was past the dummy. He grabbed his staff and slammed it down on the dummy, destroying it upon impact.

Kaito then threw his staff towards another dummy, hitting it's head to drop a rope from it's body, Kaito lands on the ground before catching his staff before unleashing a combo with his staff on another dummy causing it to drop a rope as well.

Kaito wrapped the two rope on his feet before using it to pull the dummies towards him, simulating the act of them attacking. When the dummy's ropes were pulled, two cylindrical arms rpotuded from their arms, Kaito avoids getting hit as he continues his unrelenting combo while being careful not getting tangled by the rope.

Kaito spun around with his staff as he thrust towards one dummy before side-flipping towards the other dummy and slamming his staff on it's head, destroying it. He then turned back to the last dummy and used <<Phantom Dragon Teeth>> thrusting his staff multiple times towards the wooden dummy, causing some noticeable damages from Kaito's force sweeping it's feet and casting <<Falling Flower Palm>> resulting the dummy to be reduced to splinters.

Shizuku stood there astonished by the display that Kaito presented as he puts away his wooden staff.

Kaito: "Are you just gonna stand there? Or are you gonna accompany me?"

Shizuku shook of her state before walking nervously towards Kaito.

Shizuku: "Doing some late night training?"

Kaito: "I was. We are going deeper into the dungeon tomorrow, I thought I might prepare myself"

Shizuku: "You're the highest leveled fighter among all of us, even higher than Kouki. I didn't think you'd waste your time training"

Kaito: "No time is a waste, it's what you put your time in and not do in the future is what caused it to waste"

Shizuka: "There you go again with your philosophical lines"

Kaito *chuckle*"I can't seem to help it"

Shizuku: "...I've been thinking, do you ever miss home? Japan?"

Kaito: "I've thought about it a few times, and every time I've come to one conclusion"

Shizuku: "And what's that?"

Kaito: "Everything happens for a reason"

Shizuku: "So what? You're brought here because you were destined to defeat the demon king?"

Kaito: "Maybe saving the world from demons isn't the first thing that comes to my mind, but this new world. IF you take away the demons destroying the world then it won't be so bad"

Shizuku: "Do you plan on making a new life here?"

Kaito: "I think I'd like that, a small house in the hills, listening to the birds and fairies in the early morning, maybe even catch a dragon flying by the house. It sounds a good life"

Shizuku: "It does..."

Kaito: "And I want you to be a part of it"

Shizuku nods before processing the words Kaito said, causing her to pull back flustered, her face bright red from blushing as Kaito only leans his head on his staff with an innocent look.

Kaito: "Are you alright? You're face is all red"

Shizuku: "I-It's nothing"

Kaito *chuckle*"I'm just messing with you"

Shizuku:*pout*"You know I hate it when you make fun of me, Hmph!"

Kaito smiled at Shizuku before giving her a head pat, receiving a look of admiration from Shizuku.

Kaito: "It's getting late now, time to get some sleep. Are you coming Shizuku?"

Shizuku...Shizuku...

???: Shizuku?

Shizuku is brought back to reality by Kaori, holding her hand as she lied down on her bed with a sad expression.

Kaori: "Do you think Nagumo and Kaito will be ok?"

Shizuku: "Mhm, I'm sure they are, but you should rest right now. We can try looking for them tomorrow"

Kaori: "I just wish I could've...done more"

Kaori's eyes started getting heavy and later falls asleep

Shizuku: "You've done all that you could"

Shizuku then stood up from the side of the bed and looked out Kaori's window into the Garden, as she looks at the flowers, her eyes landed on the clearing. She envisioned Kaito practicing with his staff and 3 training dummies.

Shizuku: "I've done all that I could...but it wasn't enough"

An image of Kaito with his innocent look flashed onto Shizuku's mind as she felt her chest tighten.

Shizuku: "Why am I feeling this way? Why can't it stop?"

she mutters as she looks up into the full moon.

Shizuku: "Please, Kaito. Wherever you are, please come back"

(Kaito POV)

I stir awake from my slumber once again, the light and crackles of fire forcing me to sit up and look around. I saw a lit campfire beside me inside what seems to be a cave.

Kaito: "How did I get here?"

I looked further and noticed the cave goes deeper, I grabbed a stick from the firepit to act as a torch and explored the cave. I discovered markings o the cave's walls, drawings of creatures followed by names of items.

I ventured deeper and noticed a wooden workbench with a clothed box and a piece of paper. I looked around the area before cautiously walking forward, until I reached the workbench. Once I made it, I grabbed the piece of paper and began reading it's contents.

To whomever that may discover this

My time is slowly dwindling I'm afraid, Age is starting to catch up to me and I cannot continue on my research. I was so close into making a breakthrough with my project and ready to show the world, but I suppose that time will never come. Inside the box is a weapon I designed for the Unspecialized like me.

If you ever discover this weapon, I ask you to let it see the light of day and help you achieve Glory that I cannot achieve.

Battle mage, if you happen to read this, I noticed your armor has been damaged quite a bit. If you manage to reach the 100th floor, I have an armor personally built by me and it can replace your worn out armor. Take it and It's yours.

I looked at the clothed box and took of the cover and was surprised at what I saw

Kaito: "It was the umbrella that the shrouded man had"

I went and pick up the umbrella but a textbox prevented me from reaching past the box

[This item is only equipable by the Unspecialized . Would you like to change your occupation?]

Kaito: "If it means I can use the weapon then yes"

[Occupation changed from Battle Mage to Unspecialized. You can now equip the item]

i reached inside the box and took out the umbrella, i took a firm grasp of the handle as I admire every detail that comes with it until another textbox appeared notifying me of it's name.

[Congratulations! You are now the new owner of Myriad Manifestation Umbrella. Use it with upmost care]

The paper then lit up in azure flame and rather it getting destroyed, new texts appeared on the paper.

You have successfully taken my weapon from my hands, now I am confident that my weapon can now be seen by the whole world. Thank you.

Kaito: "What a strange man..."

I then went back to the fire place and exited the cave, collecting what's left of my armor and wear it. Some of the part on my armor are damaged probably due to my fall and my right shoulder piece is irreparable but nonetheless wore the rest without the right shoulder piece.

I went and explored the labyrinth floor, trying to find a way to go deeper. As I was exploring, I felt a presence behind me, a wolf beast pounce on me before I could identify where the threat was, surprisingly I manage to dodge the attack faster than what I'd normally would.

Kaito: "I feel lighter on my feet all of the sudden"

I then recalled the other things the letter had written down

The Unspecialized Is a balance of all the occupations, it's stats are evenly displayed with equal growth rate of 3.

Kaito: *thought* "I guess that's why"

I reach for my Umbrella and imagine it turning into a spear. the ribs of the umbrella then folded upwards, as the tip of the umbrella morphed into a spear head.

Myriad Manifestation Umbrella (Spear form)

Once my weapon was fully transformed, spun it around me before piercing the beasts skull, slaying it.

The Myriad Manifestation Umbrella is designed with the Unspecialized in mind. It can turn into any weapon of any class to offset the Occupation's drawbacks.

Kaito:*thought* "Since the Unspecialized can use all Level 20 and under skills of every class, the possibilities are endless as long as I have the right weapon. Good thing this weapon can help me with that"

I then saw multiple rabbit beasts behind me. They jumped in the air before changing their form, preparing to swarm me, I quickly thought of something that could help me in this situation. Anything at all.

The tip of my spear shined blue before dissipating, I noticed that in the place of my spearhead were 6 barrels forming around the base of my umbrella.

Myriad Manifestation Umbrella (Gun form)

Deciding to question it later, I fired my weapon towards the incoming rabbit beasts, shredding them to pieces from the hail of bullets.

I mentioned that the weapon can turn into anything, and I do mean anything

Kaito:*thought* "What kind of occupation has a gun in this world?"

I imagined it turning back into an umbrella as the tip shined blue once again before turning back into a tip of an umbrella as the ribs folded back into place.

Kaito: "What a weird umbrella"

I then continued my way out of the floor, heading further down as I recall the last few details on the letter

Oh, I forgot to add that the weapon still needs a few more materials to reach it's maximum potential, you can use the Umbrella as is but if you want the full capability of your weapon then I recommend gathering the items it requires. It drops from a crustacean boss and a Hydra type boss.

Kaito:*thought* "If I want the full capability of this umbrella, I have to get those items. Luckily it's only I'm close to the boss room"

It's a good thing that the levels below are cleared off, no signs of any monsters anywhere, I then felt the ground shake followed by gunshots followed by a loud growl, the sound of gunfire continue before i heard a familiar voice.

Familiar Voice: "Sorry, but I know how this plays out and I'm not gonna wait around so you two can gang up on me"

Kaito: "So he's still alive, I should probably help"

(Hajime POV)

I maneuvered around a giant blue cyclops as I shoots it's eye with my gun, the cyclops put its arms in front of his face as a forcefield to catch the bullets and rendering the attack void.

Changing my tactics, I ran towards a pile of rocks caused by the initial earthquake and uses it as cover while I reloads my revolver.

Hajime: "This guy's using defensive magic, huh?. Good thing I know where to hit!"

I ran out of my cover and towards the giant cyclops before unloading my magazine at his eye, he then roared at me before throwing a punch towards me, which I dodged effortlessly thanks to the skill from the rabbit beast.

I then continued to shoot the cyclops, but he keeps on covering it with his arms, only causing my attack to destroy its bracers.

Hajime: "Damnit! He keeps blocking my shots"

I then jumped back and assess the situation I'm in. I noticed that the cyclops is not moving away from the massive door behind him.

Hajime:*thought* "Which means that something behind it must be pretty special" *aloud* "What are you waiting for? Come and get me!"

The cyclops then roared at my direction but its eye is looking somewhere else, it's looking...

Hajime: "Above me?"

I look up just as a shadowy guy twirls something towards his back as I saw a faint blue light coming from him, next thing I knew I see him riddling the cyclops with bullets.

Hajime: "No way! Who is this guy?"

The man then twirled his weapon to his front and shot behind him, causing the recoil to send him towards the cyclops as I saw another faint blue light just as the man pierces the cyclops's eye, hurling in pain before falling to the ground shortly after.

The man jumped off the cyclops right before it falls to the ground, before retrieving his weapon before fishing around the cut he inflicted and pulled out a red orb.

Hajime:*thought* "That must be the key to the door, I need to take it from him"

I made my presence known by pulling the hammer of my revolver back, surprising the man.

Hajime: "Hand it over, nice and easy"

???: "What's with the hostility all of the sudden? I just save you, you know?"

Hajime: "I didn't need your help, I had it covered. Now hand it over"

???: "Look buddy, as far as I can see it we're the only two people that's down here. So why don't we put that gun away and maybe we can work something out"

Hajime:*thought* "How does he know what a gun is? He's letting on" *aloud* "Name your price"

I heard his stomach growl, as the man just stood there unresponsive.

Hajime: "I have some meat with me, If your hungry I can give you some"

???: "How do I know that isn't poisoned, plus I can manage a few more days without food. How about materials, or perhaps a few healing items can suffice"

Hajime: "Just remember I have a gun pointed at your head. If I don't like what your saying I can just shoot you at the back of your head"

???: "Alright, Alright. Jeez, you drive a hard bargain Nagumo"

I stiffened up by the mention of my name, but the man threw the orb at me before I could fully process what he said. I manage to catch the orb with my palm as I finally get a good look at the man's face.

(3rd POV) [Back at the surface]

Shizuku is now standing in the garden where Kaito trained, doing a few practice swings with her wooden sword before tossing it in the air and drew her real sword from her side before swinging it swiftly, cutting the wooden sword into three equal pieces

Shizuku: "It doesn't make sense. How are we suddenly so powerful?"

???: "It's fine..."

Shizuku heard someone talk behind her, he turned around and spots Daisuke walking away from the garden.

Daisuke: "Nobody saw you did it, it wasn't your fault that Kaito idiotically jumped in to save that Nagumo, so everything went perfectly. It's fine"

Shizuku: "Hiyama?"

Daisuke: "Yiek! Oh, Yaegashi"

Daisuke then saw Shizuku's blade glint in the moonlight startling him

Shizuku: "You seem nervous, what's up?"

Daisuke: "N-Nothing's up, what about you?"

Shizuku: "Just getting some training done, If I'm gonna reach Kaito's level I have to push harder. You're welcome to train with me if you want"

Daisuke:*sweatdrop* "Umm, N-No thanks, I'm good"

Daisuke then turned to the door and frantically walks out.

Shizuku: "That was new, was he always so fidgety?"

Once she shook of her thoughts, she went back to Kaori's room and sat down beside her bed and watched over her. A few minutes later Kaori began stirring awake as Shizuku sighed in relief as tears of joy as she see her friend awake.

Shizuku: "Kaori...Thank goodness"

Kaori: "Hmmm...hey don't cry, I'm okay."

Shizuku: "How are you feeling?"

Kaori: "Just a little tired is all"

Shizuku: "You should be well rested, you've been asleep for 5 days"

Kaori: "5 days?!"

Kaori sits up from her bed with the help of Shizuku.

Kaori: "What happened? I remembered we were down in the labyrinth fighting the behemoth and then-"

Shizuku: "Hey, are you thirsty?"

Shizuku suddenly shoots up from her chair before walking over to the table and poured Kaori a glass of water.

Kaori: "What happened with Nagumo and Kaito? They're okay aren't they?"

The aching in Shizuku's chest returned as she recalled what happened to Kaito back at the Labyrinth.

Shizuku: "...They're gone"

Kaori: "No that can't be! We have to go save them!"

Kaori tossed her blanket aside jumped out of her bed, but her legs gave out not even a step out causing her to fall to her knees. Shizuku rushed to her friend's side and helps her up.

Kaori: "No, let go. We have to go save them"

Shizuku: "Just let it go!"

Kaori looked over to her friend and see her shaking as tears flow down from her face.

Shizuku: "He's gone...no matter what we do the outcome is still the same!"

Kaori: "You're hurting too, aren't you? I'm sorry, but I just can't give up on Nagumo yet, I have to believ he's still alive"

Shizuku: "But Kaori..."

Kaori: "I'm not stupid, I know that might not be the case. but still...we won't know for sure until we check. Both for you and for me, so we have to get stronger"

[With Hajime and Kaito]

Hajime: "No way...Kaito?

Kaito: "Yo!"

Hajime: "I didn't think you're still alive"

Kaito: "You doubted me?"

Hajime: "More like accepting the facts. Now are you gonna help me with the door?"

Kaito: "I knew you might use a hand"

Hajime: "Tch! Shut up"

Kaito went over to the other cyclops and fished out the other orb before walking with Hajime towards the door.

Hajime: "On Three, 1...2...

Hajime & Kaito: 3!

They placed the 2 keys to the door before walking back and see what happens next. The door then started glowing red as the wind starts picking up. When the wind calmed down, the door slowly pushes open and inside was a large open room. Hajime and Kaito walk inside and looked around the area, as they go deeper inside, they noticed a large glowing cube floating at the center of the room.

Green tentacles then appeared around the room and slowly crawls towards the floating cube, the cube itself is spinning until it stops at the angle that turns into a diamond. Once the room settle down, Hajime and Kaito look at the cube and noticed it turned into cage in a wall.

They went a little closer and saw a little girl chained up inside the cage.

Hajime: "Is that a person?"

Kaito: "Why is a little girl held captive inside a dungeon?"

Hajime: "Not my problem"

He then turned around and walked away, confusing Kaito

Girl: "Wait, Please help me!"

Hajime: "Nope, not gonna happen. You're obviously sealed down here for a reason, only an idiot would try and set you free so since I'm not I'll pass. Besides we're busy."

Girl: "No, you're wrong! It's not my fault, I'm here because I was betrayed!"

Hajime abruptly stops and suddenly felt a sting in his chest

Kaito: "You said you were betrayed, care to elaborate on that?"

Girl: 'The truth is I come from a long line of vampires. I was gifted with great power, a power I used to always protect my people...but one day my minister said that they don't need me anymore, my uncle told me that he would rule our people instead and I was fine with that really"

Hajime: "So you're some sort of royalty then?"

Hajime then walked back towards the center of the room until he come face to face with the girl

Girl: "Yes, but they said I pose too great of a threat, and since they can't kill me, they decided to seal me away down here"

Kaito: "What exactly is your power?"

Girl: "My power is that I heal very fast, all my wounds repair themselves. I could also manipulate mana, without a circle"

Hajime: "Woah, that's some interesting power. No wonder you're locked away here, but how do I know I can trust you?"

Girl: "I-"

Kaito: "I believe her"

Hajime turned around to see Kaito walking up to the two with his umbrella on his shoulder.

Kaito: "I can't exactly vouch for her story and I definitely don't have evidence to support her claim, but she looks sincere enough as is. Plus it could be a good opportunity for us"

Hajime: "What do you mean?"

Kaito: "There are two more bosses that we need to defeat before we could reach the 100th floor. I'm not doubting you, but I have a much higher chance to sleep at night if we have someone as strong as both of us to come with"

He then points his umbrella towards the girl, startling her as the golden tip of his umbrella glints in the light.

Kaito: "And she, fits the bill just right. The choice is up to you though, that cell is directly imbedded to that wall. Only a Transmute could set her free,  are you willing to take that risk?"

Hajime: *sigh* "I'm gonna regret this someday, aren't I?"

Hajime then stepped closer to the cell as Kaito stepped back and gave Hajime some space as he places his hand against the girl's cage.

A magic circle then appeared on Hajime's hand as the cage slowly begins to crack from Hajime's Transmutation.

Hajime: "This thing really doesn't want to let go...Good thing I wasn't weak as I used to be!!"

Hajime pushed his Transmutation to the max, cracking the cage further by the second. Hajime continues to push himself further, increasing his Transmutation as the cage slowly begins to crumble while the room is starting to get enveloped in a red light.

Hajime manages to successfully break the girl out of her cage, destroying it to pieces as she falls to the ground. The room slowly begins to dim back down to normal as Kaito and Hajime finally got a good look at their caged damsel, the girl has blonde hair and a small frame with red eyes.

Hajime reached inside his coat and pulls out a capsule, he flicks the cap off before chugging it's contents, the girl reached for Hajime's hand as she stared into his eyes longingly.

Hajime: "You want some?"

Girl: "You're so warm..."

Hajime: "Well, I'm alive. Kind of a perk that comes with it"

Girl: "Can I ask, for your name?"

Hajime: "I'm Hajime, Nagumo Hajime. That guy with an umbrella is Kaito Kurosawa.

Girl: "Hajime...Hajime...Hajime..."

Hajime: "What's yours?"

Girl: "huh?"

Hajime: "You've gotta have a name, right"

Girl: "Give me one"

Hajime: "What? Did you forget yours or something?"

Girl: "I don't need my other name, I want one that you decide"

Hajime: "I don't see why you'd want..."

Hajime looks at the girl one more time and saw that she is looking at him with hopeful eyes, melting his icy exterior

Hajime: "Okay...so just any name?...Hmm, How about Yue?"

Girl: "Yue?"

Kaito: "It means Moon from our homeland"

Kaito then leaned down and gave Hajime a playful headlock

Kaito: "He's also saying you're his moon to his endless dark life. How sweet"

Hajime:*slight blush* "Tch! It's not like that!"

Girl: "It's perfect...the name...It's perfect!"

The two then looked back at the girl, now known as Yue, and saw her with a bright smile on her face.

Kaito suddenly felt a threat lingering behind them as 4 stone stakes are shot towards them.

Kaito: "Get down!"

Acting quickly, Kaito got in-front of Hajime and Yue as he opened up his umbrella, forming a circular shield. Protecting them from the shrapnel.

The ground then shook once more as Kaito and Hajime heard something big drop down towards them.

Hajime: "What the hell is that!!?
