"Ariel darling I have brought your breakfast" my mother knocked on the door.

Like everyday she sat the tray outside the door and walked off. My mother made it a rule that come no down from my small room was for dinner and dinner only. Dinner was our family time. I moved to the door and could smell pancakes and bacon even through the door. Silently I opened the door and brought the food inside.

"Yum" I said very silent as I grabbed Dark and pulled him into my lap.

Dark is my stuffed bear, I'm not going into to detail. I tore a pancake in my hands and sat down in my window seat. I'm more of a people watcher, then anything else.

Before I would ignore most sights of people and hang out with my friends. Though now people seem to fascinate me more and more. I looked at my phone from across the
room. I don't even want to use that thing. Not until I learn how to use it again..

Zander's POV

I looked over at Ace who had let himself in for breakfast.

"I can't stand this anymore Ace" I said after a while.

"I know. She probably doesn't even remember us." He shoved a few French fries into his mouth.

Did I mention when Ace comes over he always bring McDonalds!?

"Tomorrow we start senior classes" I said eating a hash brown.

"Yep"

Me and Ace had been friends with Ariel since we where in preschool together.

"let's make a bet Zander" Ace said with another handful of fries.

"Ok"

"First one to get Ariel out of her house wins"

So there we where making a bet together for 20$ about Ariel. After being on speaker with her mom for about ten minutes she said she would be delighted for us to come over for dinner and to talk with Ariel. Of course we knew she did this without Ariel's permission because she would be pissed. 

I had spent the rest of the day doing nothing with Ace. Video games and junk food was usually how our day before school starts started.

It's just that every time

Ariel was right there with us...
